He pushed deeper as he bent slightly so he could reach his goal. He shoved until he could no longer move and he stilled inside of her, absorbing the feeling of being completely content. They both moaned in pleasure, until she pressed her ass back and the contentedness turned to starvation for more.

“I’m home, baby. Inside you is where I was meant to be.”

There were no more words exchanged and no more thoughts except to bring Gia pleasure and to find his release. With every stroke of his cock she moaned and counterthrusted. He cupped her breast with one hand and squeezed and pulled the nipple to make her pussy cream. He moved faster, harder into her as he grabbed her hips and watched his cock disappear into her pussy from behind. The sight of her delicious body and firm, round ass made him lose control. He spread her cheeks, dipping lower with each stroke, making her legs shake. He felt them.

“I can’t wait to fuck this ass, Gia. Do you have any idea how full and aroused you’ll be with a cock in your pussy, a cock in your ass, and one in that sexy little mouth of yours at once?”

He pressed a digit to the puckered hole and she screamed her release. He jerked his hips as he pumped both his finger and cock into her until he exploded inside of her. It took every ounce of control to not collapse against her smaller body. They panted for breath, allowing the hot water to cascade over their bodies. He kissed every bit of skin his lips could touch.

Wes slowly pulled from her body, turned her around, and lifted her up and against him.

“You’re mine, baby. I’m never gonna let you go.” He kissed her passionately, and when he felt her arms wrap around his shoulders and she kissed him back, relief and satisfaction that Gia was his filled his heart.

When Gia made it out to the kitchen she was immediately concerned over Garrett. He was sitting on a chair, his left leg up and a bag of ice on his thigh.

“Oh my God, what happened? Are you okay?” she asked as she moved closer.

“I’m fine,” he snapped at her as she took position between his leg that was resting on the chair and his splayed thighs. She started to pull back, a bit intimidated by his intense reaction, when he grabbed a loop on her skinny jeans and pulled her back between his legs.

“I’m sorry, Gia. I didn’t mean to bark at you.” His large hand caressed her hip then moved over her lower back to her ass. He pulled her closer and she had to place her hands on his chest to brace herself.

She took a deep breath. “Does this have something to do with you being a Marine?” she asked, knowing that he had a bit of scarring on his thigh but it was light and almost looked like pigmentation in the skin. Kaleigh had mentioned that Garrett has sustained an injury to his leg during a mission in the military. She really hadn’t looked at the scarring and didn’t ask him about his injury because she didn’t want to upset him. Besides, she was also too busy being aroused and stimulated by the man. She released a sigh.

“It does. It’s an old injury, but one I’ll have forever I guess.”

She ran her hands along his chest and to his shoulders. “Did we overdo it last night?” she asked with a small smile.

His eyes widened and then they seemed to darken to an almost dark gray color. The feel of his finger stroking down the crack of her ass to her cunt made her lips part and a soft moan escape.

“I can keep up, baby, don’t you worry. It’s just been a while,” he admitted and she leaned up to kiss his lips. That kiss began to get hotter and the ice pack nearly fell off his leg.

“Your breakfast is getting cold,” Gunner teased and she released his lips and stepped back.

“It’s been a while for me, too. I’m feeling a little sore all over today,” she told him as she went to step away. He grabbed her hand and she heard forks drop as Gunner and Wes watched her.

“We didn’t hurt you, did we?” Garrett asked and Gunner and Wes seemed just as concerned.

“No, silly. I enjoyed last night and this morning.” She flipped a look toward Wes and Gunner.

Garrett pulled her back between his thighs. “You and I will be spending the day together, baby.”

Then he kissed her sweetly on the mouth. A kiss filled with promises of what she knew would be a fun and exciting afternoon.

  Chapter 9

“It’s over, Jeffrey. I can’t do anymore. The charges are going to stick. When you appear in court this week, they are going to arrest you. The video of the attack is all over the place, never mind the number of women who have come forward with accusations against you,” his attorney stated.

“Fuck that. I’m not going to jail. You paid my bail.”

“The judge didn’t think you would come up with five hundred thousand dollars. Damn it, Jeffrey, twelve women are claiming that you raped them or stalked them. Twelve! This woman you attacked at the hotel, that fought back, has gained the attention and the support of millions. You need help. If I can make a plea in court this week and get you admitted—”

“No! This is not happening. I won’t go to prison or a mental asylum or whatever because of this bitch. It’s not happening.”

Jeffrey hung up the phone. He ran his fingers through his hair as he stared at himself in the mirror. His face needed a shave, his eyes were bloodshot. He hadn’t been sleeping and everywhere he turned people shot dirty, nasty looks at him. He’d lost his job, his life savings and even his friends, all because of that bitch Gia. He looked at his hand, set in the cast, and the bruises and cuts on his face. She knew how to fight. He’d underestimated her. How could a woman, a petite, sexy woman, bring a man like him down? He felt his chest tighten and the rage envelop his thoughts.

“I’m not going to prison. If she drops the charges, then this is over and everything will turn out just fine.”

He pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and scanned through the contacts. While he flirted with Meredith, the main secretary, he had looked up Gia’s personal home address and phone number. He’d added them to his contacts. There it is. Her cell number.

He took a deep breath and got himself into the right state of mind before he dialed it. She would be warned, but this time, this woman would only get one warning.

“So are you going to be coming back to work?” Sammy asked as she waited for Gia to finish getting ready for the party at Casper’s.

“I think so, but Robert heard that Jeffrey’s lawyers are trying to charge me with assault and they’re trying to go after Robert’s attorneys to sue for wrongfully firing him. The judge set bail and he paid it. I guess I’ll have to wait until next week when they have the hearing. It’s a total mess, but Robert thinks that it is all a game. Besides, I haven’t really discussed the possibility of returning this week to work with Gunny, Garrett, and Wes either. They’ve been so protective and I don’t want them freaking out about it. I’m surprised they even let me stay here alone to get ready.”

“That’s because I insisted upon catching up with you and hanging out a bit. Sounds serious if you need their permission to continue to work,” Sammy teased and Gia appeared in front of her. She wondered what Sammy’s comment meant, but then she saw the shock on her own face in the mirror and that smug look Sammy got when she knew she would get the last laugh.

“You know what? Scratch that. I think discussing your return to work will be the last thing on their mind when they see you walk into Casper’s. Come on. I can’t wait to get there.”

Gia wondered what in the world Sammy was talking about. They were headed to Casper’s after the guys had informed her that they were hosting the football party for the Dallas Cowboys game. She’d figured that they were Texas fans, but after seeing Sammy wearing her Cowboys jersey and knowing that Teddy and his family were Cowboy fans, she had to root for her own team, the New York Giants. Certainly there would be other Giant fans there.

As they drove to Casper’s, Sammy told her about everyone at work discussing what happened and about the news reporters asking about Gia.

  “I’m
not talking to any of them. I’ve turned down their offers for interviews.”

“Why, Gia? What you did was so brave and it made a difference. Those other women thought their lives were ruined. They didn’t have the training you have or the fight in you. That piece of crap is finally going down. Believe me, after what he tried with Kaleigh, I’m glad he’s done.”

As they pulled into the parking lot of Casper’s they noticed all the cars and other people walking into the place. Gunny texted her for the third time, wondering where she was. She smiled wide. It had only been a few days since she’d returned to Houston from Dallas. She wasn’t too thrilled about showing her bruises and bandages off in public. The attention embarrassed her.

Sammy looked at her again and smiled then chuckled.

“What? Is my outfit too much?”

“No, we’re all wearing our jerseys tied to the side, showing off our abs, my belly ring that I hope Shane and his brothers notice, and your amazing body and tattoo.”

  “Then why the look?”

“Oh, you’ll see, New York,” Sammy said as they walked inside.

The moment she entered it seemed she drew some major attention. Not only because her friends and others hadn’t seen her since the incident but also because she was the only person wearing a New York Giants jersey.

“Oh wow, I guess I’m the only one rooting for the other team,” she stated and the laughter broke out.

“Don’t worry, we still like you either way,” John Luke said aloud as he walked over to her, checking out her bruised cheekbone before hugging her. Jasper and Davie followed, giving her hugs, and then their sons, Garrett, Wes, and Gunny. Of course Gunny had whispered into her ear that she would lose the jersey sooner than later as he squeezed her ass.

“You can snuggle with her later, let me see our girl,” Eve, their mother, said then pulled her into a hug.

“I’m so glad that you’re okay. I wish the men had brought you by sooner.”

“I wasn’t feeling up to coming out,” she said and Eve smiled.

“You’ll have fun and you’re amongst friends.”

  “Thank you.”

She felt the arms go around her waist and then Garrett kiss her neck as he whispered into her ear, “When the Cowboys win today, I get to take off that jersey.”

  “And if the Giants win?”

“I’m going to take that jersey off of you anyway, baby. You know I like you all naked.”

She giggled and felt her cheeks warm. Then Wes was standing in front of her with his arms crossed in front of his chest. The sleeves on his Cowboys jersey were rolled up, revealing his huge muscles. He had that typical coach type of attitude along with his military stance and abrupt demeanor.

“The guys are not going to let me live this down. I mean come on, Gia. I’m a freaking football coach in Texas.” He was so upset, but she thought he was adorable as he pouted. She looked behind him and could see the other coaches chuckling. They would give him a hard time. She felt bad as she stepped from Garrett’s embrace and placed her hands against Wes’s chest. He tried to hold a mean expression, but it didn’t last as she stood up on tiptoes and kissed him.

“I’m sorry, baby, but I’m a Giants fan. Through thick and thin and good and bad. You can’t fault me for that.”

He wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her against his side.

“I’m buying you a Cowboys jersey.”

“I’m not going to wear it,” she retorted and he huffed as they walked toward their other friends.

By halftime it was looking as though the Giants were going to beat the Cowboys. Gia toned down her excitement around the depressed fans. The men were ruthless with their Giants jokes and of course teasing Garrett, Gunny, and Wes about her being a jinx for the team. They were truly ruthless.

She watched Garrett as he spoke with Sammy and the guys. He seemed a bit different today. He seemed happy despite his team losing big-time.

“You’ve made a huge difference in his life, Gia,” Eve whispered to her as she placed a hand on Gia’s shoulder.

“Me? I haven’t done any such thing.” She lowered her eyes and moved some more napkins and plates toward the end of the buffet table. The McCallisters had quite the spread of foods for the football party.

“You’ve made them happy, Gia. My sons have been through a lot in their lives. Garrett wasn’t the same after his injury. Wes absorbs himself in his coaching job and tries to pretend that he’s fine, but I know otherwise,” Eve said.

“What do you mean? Wes socializes with everyone and the players adore him and look up to him. My cousin Dale has so much respect for Wes.”

“I know they do. He’s a good man, but he doesn’t see himself that way. Same goes for Gunner. Gosh, now that man gave me gray hairs and still does. He’s got quite the reputation as a Texas Ranger. I’m sure I haven’t heard half the stories, but I’ve heard their fathers talking with him about the chances he takes and that he’s not a superhero. Listen to me babble on and on. I’m just telling you what I see and that’s a positive difference in my sons. They won’t hurt you, Gia. In fact, I think they would do absolutely anything for you,” Eve said then walked away. Gia looked over at Garrett and Wes. They were talking to their friends and discussing the game and what the defense needed to do to come back and beat the Giants. Everyone else started making their plates of food.

She felt the arm go around her waist and the large, solid chest against her back.

  “Hungry, baby?”

  Gunner.

I’m hungry for you and your brothers. The thought made her cheeks warm as she turned in his arms and looked up into his dark eyes.

“I could eat,” she whispered to him and he raised his eyebrows at her as he caressed his hand over her back and under her jersey. The warmth of his palm against her skin enticed her for more.

“Well, I could eat you. You’re a mighty tasty little morsel, Gia. I just might have to bring you into the back room and get me a little to hold me off until after the game.”

“Really?” she replied as the heat hit her cheeks and her pussy wept. She felt that lustful, hungry feeling again.

“Break it up, you two. We don’t have too much time to eat before the second half,” Jasper, his father, said, interrupting them.

Gia turned to walk toward the table, but Gunner held her hand so they could walk together. He brought her fingers up to his lips and kissed them. She held his gaze, knowing that he was feeling just as needy as she was. But then he took her other hand, the bandaged one, and placed his hand against her cheek.

“Are you feeling okay? Not too tired yet?”

“I’m good, Gunny. Let’s get something to eat.”

Not an ounce of pain. I never felt better. So why am I waiting for something to go wrong?

  * * * *

Gia was coming out of the bathroom when she felt her cell phone vibrating against her back pocket. As she looked down the hallway she saw Teddy and Gunner standing together. They spotted her and she waved then took the call.

  “Hello.”

“Sweet little Gia, I underestimated you.”

She heard Jeffrey’s voice and she gasped.

“Don’t have much to say, huh?” he asked.

She tried to remain calm. She couldn’t believe that he was calling her.

“How did you get this number?”

“Easily, honey. Just as easily as I can come and get you. You’re in apartment 4C in the Green Mountain Apartments, right? Nice view of the gardens from your living room and bedroom. I like the comforter set.”

She held her hand against her neck as a sinking feeling consumed her. “You were in my apartment?” She raised her voice and looked up to see both Gunner and Teddy heading toward her. Both had expressions of concern on their faces

She covered the mouthpiece on the phone as they approached.

“It’s Jeffrey,” she whispered and both men reached for the phone, but Gunner grabbed it fr
om her. He placed the phone to his ear as Teddy pulled Gia into his arms.

“What did you just say, asshole?” Gunner screamed, obviously upset about what Jeffrey said. “You listen to me. If you ever call her again or go anywhere near her, I’m personally going to eliminate you. Fuck off.” Gunner ended the call and as Gia looked up from where she stood in Teddy’s arms. He looked mega pissed off.

“What’s going on?” John Luke asked.

“That asshole who attacked her just called her cell phone.” Gunner raised his voice.

“It’s okay, Gunny. Please calm down,” she began to say as John Luke motioned with his hand to someone.

Teddy released her as she reached for Gunny’s hand. He was resistant a moment until he handed Teddy her cell phone before leading her down the hall.

“Take care of this for me, will ya.”

Teddy nodded. “I’m on it and will call it in right now.” Teddy walked away and then John Luke followed Teddy as Gunny walked her down the hall and into the private office.

The moment the door closed he pulled her into his arms and hugged her to him. His large hand cupped the back of her head and the other held her lower body. He was breathing heavy, and she felt the tension in his body. He was so upset.

“It’s okay, Gunny. He’s trying to get to me, like he did the others.”

  “He’s not getting to you.”

“No, he can’t get to me. He has lost. It will all be over this week in court. There are too many charges against him and the judge should have never set bail.”

He pulled back and looked down into her eyes.

“What did he say to you?”

She shook her head and he gripped her chin, tilting up toward him.

  “What?” he asked firmly.

“He said he knew where I lived and how nice the view was from the living room and bedroom. He mentioned my comforter.”

  “Motherfucker.”

“What did he say when you took the phone?”
