“Looks good,” Luna evaluated. She sat down on Miranda. “Now, why don’t you show me what you can do, Voidwalker?” Luna taunted.

Sibyl gently sat down on Luna and kissed her. Luna flipped her sideways and slammed her on Miranda. Then she leaped on her and pinned her down. Luna quickly undressed Sibyl pushed herself onto her. Miranda’s frustrated moaning was a divine song to her ears. She got completely lost in it.

“Phew, that was fun,” Luna smiled as she got hungry. Sibyl gave her a swift kiss and got up from the bed.

“See you around,” she remarked and went to get her clothes.

Luna waited for her to leave before turning to Miranda. She stopped the belt and removed her ball-gag.

“That was refreshing, wasn’t it, general Fuckmat?” Luna pocked her.

  “You retarded runt,” Miranda foamed.

“This is what you get for cheating on me. Count it as the first and last warning. Next time I hear or even feel that you as much as kissed anyone else, I will keep you like this for weeks. I will fuck every whore in the city if I have to, all on top of you and you will be just tied up and teased while I’m doing it, understand?” Luna sneered into her face.

“Why are you so upset about it? You were gone for over two years!” Miranda exclaimed.

“SO, THE FUCK WHAT? You are mine. Now, tomorrow, next month, next year, thousand years from now and I am not going to share you with anyone. I don’t care who the people are or what they mean to you, you are mine and mine alone and I will chain you in a dungeon if I have to. It doesn’t matter how long I’m gone or what’s in the way; I will always find my way back to you whenever I can, ALWAYS! So, leave your whore hunting desires in the past and start getting the fuck used to it!”

“Why are you so stuck on this?” Miranda pried.

“I have two souls inside me, mine and the wolf’s. We both love you. We’re not going to change our mind about it, so accept it and live with it. You wanted to start things with me, well here I am and I’m not going anywhere. If you think I’m mean about it, wait for when the wolf gets pissed after you cheat on us. Because he’s not going to be nearly as nice as I am, he’s going to eat alive whoever you fucked straight in front of your face… so save us both the trouble and be a good girl!” Luna exclaimed.

  Miranda stared at her, breathlessly.

Luna kissed her with all her passion. “Good. Now, I will go eat, drink and have some fun. You will wait here and rest because I’m going to ravage your twat until you faint when I get back!” Luna got up and went for her things.

“Will I get an orgasm?” Miranda tried.

“If you last long enough, you might,” Luna smiled provocatively, “but if I’m not pleased with your performance, I will keep you locked until you cry!”

“Meh, I just can’t stay mad at you,” Luna pulled Miranda up when she was satisfied.

“Don’t tell me you’re getting soft,” Miranda tossed up. She kissed Luna passionately.

  “I don’t know… I thought I would die. Then I wished I would die,” Luna breathed.

“You are here now… that’s all that matters,” Miranda cut the topic short, “how is Elias, by the way?”

“He was fine before the storm started. If it’s still going, he probably isn’t too happy,” Luna revealed.

“What do you mean?” Miranda pried.

“The pirates are making a storm, which makes sailing impossible. The Navy will start running out of supplies, eventually, so I guess Elias is looking for a way to solve that,” Luna explained.

“Anyway, do you know how to shoot a bow?” Miranda inquired.

“I have my claws, I don’t need bows,” Luna retorted.

“You will need it in a few days,” Miranda remarked, “unless you want to just stare when we are all having fun.”

“I can just use a crossbow,” Luna smirked.

“No, you cannot. Crossbows are for kids and people who are too clumsy to use a bow. I will not let you shame me by using that primitive wanna-be weapon!” Miranda exclaimed.

“Okay… but I really suck at using a bow. Like seriously, I’m horrible at it!” Luna stated, eyes wide.

“I will teach you to use it. Come on, let’s go grab a bow. You will learn it by the time you need it!” Miranda shot up to her feet. Luna followed her awkwardly.

“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Miranda roared in laughter. “Are you even trying?”

“RAAAAAARRRRRRRRGG!” Luna roared, “THIS THING IS BROKEN!”

“Is it? Let me try,” Miranda offered.

Luna tossed her the bow. With a graceful motion, Miranda drew an arrow and shot it into the target.

“It works fine,” Miranda smirked and threw the bow back.

Luna drew an arrow, knocked it, focused and drew. SPRANG! Echoed through the forest as her bowstring slipped, making the arrow fall at her feet.

  “AHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

“THIS IS FUCKING HORSESHIT!” Luna cursed and broke the bow over her knee.

“Another,” Miranda commanded. One of her women tossed Luna a new bow.

“This is pointless! I CAN’T SHOOT THESE FUCKING THINGS!” Luna exclaimed, “I will just use a fucking crossbow dammit!”

“For the last time, crossbows are ugly toys for clumsy people. There is no way you can parade yourself around my legion without being able to use a bow! It’s not so hard, just point, draw and shoot!” Miranda countered.

“RRRRRRrrrrr”, Luna growled and drew another arrow. She pulled the string, SNAP! the bowstring gave out its service, “FUCK THIS FUCKING SHIT!”

“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Give her another one!” Miranda commanded.

“Look, Miranda, werewolves can’t use bows, make peace with it!” Luna tried.

“WHAAAAAAAAA! Bows are hard to use! WHAAAAA!” Miranda mocked her.

“YOU FUCKING BITCH!” Luna shouted and leaped at Miranda, her fingers already turned into claws.

Miranda dodged with a swift teleport and hit Luna in the face with the metal ball of Scitalis.

“Stop being a sore loser and go try again. Seriously, do you have that little persistence?” Miranda shot at her.

“LITTLE? We are at somewhere over four hundred attempts over the past three days. I. CAN’T. USE. BOWS. Deal with it!” Luna contested.

“Hmmm…. But you know…. it’s just so, so, so…. PATHETIC! AHAHAHAHAHAH!” Miranda laughed out loud.

“You don’t have to be so mean about it!” Luna exclaimed.

“Is that a tear? Careful girls, the mighty werewolf looks like she might start crying, better bring some tissues! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Miranda didn’t let up.

“So, I’m bad at using bows, what’s the big fucking deal?” Luna returned weakly.

“Ten-years-old human kids or five-years-old Fayelings can do this, what’s so hard about it? If you want a teddybear to hug before you do it, I will get the girls to bring you one, ” Miranda offered meanly.

“I need some air,” Luna squeezed out and dashed off into the forest.

She ran off deep into the forest. When she was far enough, she sat down and huddled up by a tree. The ground was wet, but not cold. The forest was calm and peaceful. Luna had never felt so humiliated. Warm hands softly wrapped around her from behind.

  “Fuck off!” Luna shouted.

“Sorry, I may have overdone it a little,” Miranda breathed.

“A little? A LITTLE? You utterly humiliated me in front of everyone!” Luna exclaimed.

“I know, I’m sorry,” Miranda hugged her tightly.

“Why are you such a bitch in public but so nice when we are alone?” Luna asked carefully.

  “I don’t know… I just can’t help myself,” Miranda replied.

“Stop bullshitting me; you know what this is about. What aren’t you telling me, Miranda?” Luna inquired angrily.

Miranda softly took her head into hands and kissed her. Luna accepted the kiss hesitantly. Miranda caught Luna’s tunic and gently pulled it off from her.

“Now, this scar,” Miranda said and traced the line of a massive scar which went over Luna’s shoulder and all the way to her midsection, “this one looks like you almost got cut in half.”

“It was just a scratch, what about it?” Luna asked back, puzzled.

“Here on your back, this looks like a scar after a really deep stab wound from a spear, it clearly went all the way through you,” Miranda traced her finger around the circular scar.

“A random stab, nothing interesting,” Luna breathed.

“Or here, on the head, these at the sides look like someone cracked your skull so hard its fragments literally flew out from your head. By the other scars, it was a hit by a spiked mace,” Miranda continued, “or these, tons of small scars on your sides and back, I would bet there were hundred times more of them but those healed already.”

“What’s your point?” Luna slashed at her.

“I leave you out of my eyes for a few months and you return covered by scars which look like you almost died a dozen times! Maybe I would be nicer if you didn’t look like you try to kill yourself in every fight!” Miranda exclaimed. “Maybe I would take it easier if you didn’t prove right every single one of my worries!”

“You are worried about me?” Luna breathed. She didn’t expect this.

“Of course, I’m worried, you furry little idiot! I put four of my agents to watch your every step and you STILL managed to get yourself almost killed. Multiple times!”

“I can’t just stop fighting, I’m in the navy, after all,” Luna exhaled.

“No… but perhaps you could be a bit more careful when you fight,” Miranda whispered gently. “Heroic deaths make great stories, but it isn’t the heroes who get to tell them.”

And perhaps, if I were a bit less confident, I wouldn’t charge in face first. Perhaps if I knew how to use a bow, I wouldn’t need to fight head on. Perhaps if I were a bit wimpier, I wouldn’t volunteer for every dangerous thing I can.

“In your own twisted way, you are so awfully sweet I want to lick you to the bones,” Luna smiled and grabbed Miranda’s head for a strong kiss, “but you are still a bitch.”

“I’m sorry, I… just can’t help myself. I was worried you wouldn’t survive the ritual, worried you wouldn’t remember me… worried you wouldn’t want to see me again. Now you are here … and I’m afraid you will just disappear, again.”

“You would really want to put me on a leash, wouldn’t you?” Luna smiled poisonously.

  “Perhaps.”

“Nobody leashes the mighty werewolf!” Luna announced and swept Miranda under her. She turned her index finger into a claw and cut open the back of Miranda’s tunic. She ripped it off from her. Luna caught her into a powerful hug and pressed herself onto her. “I will always come back to you. No matter from where, how far or through what, I will always come back.”

“Wake up! We are late!” Miranda shook Luna as the morning was about to come. They were lying in the forest, naked and entwined into each other.

  “Hmmm?” Luna asked.

“We are going out today, let’s move,” Miranda breathed and started getting up.

“Not so fast!” Luna pulled her back down. She wrapped herself around her and locked her back into the belt.

“So close!” Miranda breathed after the dooming click sounded.

  “Nice try,” Luna smirked.

They dressed up and returned to the camp. The entire camp seemed to have been getting ready, putting on armors, oiling weapons and distributing arrows. Miranda led the way straight into the desecrated temple.

“Knock, knock,” she shouted the second she kicked open a door. The room was covered by history books and papers covered by tight handwriting. Inside sat a slender man in decorated robes.

“Good morning, general,” the man greeted.

Miranda prowled in and slid behind him to peer over his shoulder. She was like a snake who is just measuring up its victim. Luna’s insides flared up with anger.

“What do you have for me, Jia?” Miranda asked seductively.

The man picked up a few papers and handed them to her. “Instructions are on the second page, formation illustrations on three to four,” he explained.

“Thank you,” Miranda softly kissed him on the cheek and detached. She headed back to Luna. “What?” she asked innocently as she closed the door behind her.

“What the fuck was that about?” Luna sneered, barely holding herself from roaring.

“Oh come on, you aren’t jealous, are you? This is Guo Jia, my legion’s main strategist,” she revealed.

“And? What was with the kiss and touches?” Luna inquired angrily.

“Awww,” Miranda messed up Luna’s hair, “are you getting jelaous?”

“RRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrr,” Luna growled, “what’s in the papers?”

“Positioning and strategy for today,” Miranda revealed, “See?” She showed her the papers. They even had drawn pictures of how she should position her legion.

“I thought doing this was your job,” Luna observed.

“No, my job is to go in first and make sure we win the battle. The planning and strategy are done by people who are specialized on it,” Miranda explained.

“I guess the title general isn’t what it used to be,” Luna scoffed.

“I guess the wimpy werewolf needs some more shooting practice,” Miranda countered poisonously.

Wimpy werewolf… why does it hurt so much?

  ‘Because you care.’

Oh, now you show up, Wolfie?

‘I’m just enjoying myself, after all, I’m not the wimpy part.’

“SHUT THE FUCK UP!” Luna shouted, “whoops, sorry, that wasn’t meant to be out loud.”

“Asking the werewolf for advice, Ms. Wimpy?” Miranda asked poisonously.

Luna just shook her head and left.

“Oh come on, don’t take it so personally!” Miranda caught her from behind into a hug.

“Grrrrrrrr,” Luna growled, caught Miranda’s head and kissed her.

They rejoined with the rest of the 3rd Legion and headed out. Miranda put her hair under her armor, donned the featureless white mask and put a cowl over her head. On the way up through the forest, Sibyl intercepted them. Sibyl with an army of almost three thousand Faye. Each of them had a bow and multiple quivers full of arrows on her back.

“No bow for the mighty werewolf?” Sibyl asked as she met them at the head of the march.

“Bows are too sophisticated for primitive animals,” Miranda remarked meanly.

Luna turned red with embarrassment and just looked at her feet as she walked.

“Come on; I’m just joking,” Miranda caught her from behind into a strong hug.

They say love hurts… they forgot to say they mean it literally.

  Zoey

“Morning,” Zoey greeted weakly as she got out. Raven was sitting by the wall, deep in his thoughts.

  “Morning,” he acknowledged her presence.

“Has Lucas woken up yet?” Zoey asked.

  “No.”

“What do you think is going on?” Zoey inquired.

“I’m trying to figure that out all morning,” Raven sighed.

“What do you have, so far?”

“The town is fortified beyond reason. The fortifications are prepared for both land and aerial assault. There are hundreds of ballistae, catapults and shooting posts, all sheltered from above. The walls are reinforced, all of them, and the city is split into perimeters that can be isolated. There are no children or young women around the town. The Palai soldiers seem to be extremely familiar with the place. From asking around, everyone gave me the same answer: Talk to commander Li Mu,” Raven revealed.

“They’ve been here for a while, haven’t they… where did you get the beer?” Zoey pried as she couldn’t ignore Raven sipping from a mug.

“There is a brewery in town; it gives free beer to everyone,” he remarked.

  “Anyway, let’
s go talk to this Li Mu person. I have a strong feeling that Lucas happened to omit some key details, again,” Zoey summarized. Raven rose and followed her.

“Greetings, your highness,” Li Mu greeted them warmly. The commander of the 1st Legion was tall, slender, had a long hair arranged into a ponytail and wore loose robes. If he wore an armor underneath them, it was impossible to see.

“Greetings, commander,” Raven and Zoey greeted him. Securing this meeting was surprisingly easy, so they were both cautious.

“We were just wondering how is the siege going,” Zoey tossed up warily.

“In short, it isn’t. The demonic hordes are both exhausted from the pursuit and merging with the ones from the mountains. There have been some attempts to attack us, but they were just meant to test us. I expect the battle to begin by tomorrow’s dawn,” Li Mu revealed calmly.

“How do you expect the battle to go? I mean, we are more than a bit outnumbered,” Zoey remarked. The man seemed to have been willing to talk, something Lucas never really was no matter how hard she tried.

“At first, they shall think they can overwhelm us with pure numbers and just throw themselves at us. That shall fail. Then it shall turn into a war of attrition. On one hand we have supplies, fortifications and a brewery, on the other hand, they have overwhelming numbers. They either kill us or run out of supplies and are forced to retreat, whichever happens first. We are indeed pulling the shorter end of the sting, but we do have a chance to survive. Do not get too optimistic though; there has been a large demonic and Faye force present in the mountains for past months, it likely has enough supplies to sustain their siege for a couple of weeks. As for your group, I believe agent Lucas had already told you that you should be making a retreat into the mountains. That is indeed a part of the plan, should the city defense prove to be unfeasible, your group shall make a flashy escape into the mountains, dividing the enemy’s attention and hopefully saving both yourselves and us,” Li Mu explained.

“The fortifications seem to be rather new and advanced, sorry if I ask, but how long has the 1st Legion been stationed here?” Zoey asked straight.
