Shooting Blindly in the Dark Page 27

by Nicole Jackson

I was naked, as they day I was born, as I listened to the sound of his balls loudly clapping against my ass. I ran my fingers through my hair, while he fondled my tits. I bit my bottom lip, as I squeezed my eyes tightly.

“Aw, shit,” he cried out hoarsely, as his back stiffened. “Fuuuck!” he grunted, as I felt him releasing inside of me.

“Damn,” I breathed, as I climaxed too. My pussy was pulsating around him, as he seemed to cum forever. He sat up, licking my titties, heightening my orgasm.

“Uh,” his body trembled beneath me.

I sat there with him still inside of me, gazing down at him. I really didn’t know what the fuck I was doing. Nothing had changed. I was still hurt with the entire Farrah situation. She still lived with him, and was helping raise my daughter. The shit was unforgivable, but I really didn’t think that I could stay away from the dick. Waving my head, I knew that shit was about to get crazy. I could just see it.

  Chapter 24

  Kaydoa

“Ay, I’ma get that belt too,” I told the saleslady in the Louis Vuitton store.

“Boy, you going ham in here,” Farrah claimed, as she stood beside me.

I shrugged. “Nah, I’m going light weight.”

“If you say so,” she stroked her long weave.

We’d been at the mall for a few minutes, and she was already getting on my nerves. Sometimes conversations wit her felt forced. It was like we had nothing in common. Don’t get me wrong, she was all educated and shit, which was cool. It was just that she could never seem to relax and go wit the flow. We couldn’t have a conversation if it wasn’t about clothes, money, Kylah, or Jasmine. Jasmine actually trumped all other conversations, and I was beginning to think that she thought about her more than me.

“And let me get those shades,” she told the saleslady, as she pointed at the $800 glasses. Her ass had gotten so comfortable that she didn’t even bother asking me for shit, anymore.

“Will that be all for you guys?” the eager white woman asked us, as she placed the items we wanted on the counter. I had a total of three items, which was a belt, a watch, and some glasses, while Farrah had some glasses, shoes, and a little purse.

“Umm,” I glanced at a big handbag, sitting a few feet away from the registers. “Nah, let me get that bag over there,” I pointed.

“Sure,” the woman hurried over to the bag, and grabbed it.

Farrah grabbed the price tag, as the woman was passing by. “This cost five thousand dollars.”

I shrugged her off, as I pulled a knot out of my pocket. She stood wit her arms folded, as the saleslady called out the hefty total, and I paid the entire tab in cold cash. She then bagged the items, and I handed Farrah the bag wit the items she’d picked out. I then grabbed my bags, and headed out the door. We were nearing the exit when I noticed she was all frowned up, after I’d just spent my money on her ass.

“The fuck is your problem?” I questioned, as we stopped in the middle of the walkway.

“Who…who is that handbag for?” she badgered wit her arms folded.

I sucked my teeth, and continued my stroll back to the front of the mall.

She stomped behind me. “So, you aint gon answer me?”

“Answer what?” I casually asked, as we stepped outside. Digging into my pocket, I pulled out the valet ticket, and handed it to the Mexican parking attendant.

“My question. Who is that purse for?”

My head fell back, as I gazed up at the sky. “Man, don’t start. Let me hurry up and drop your ass off.”

She sarcastically laughed. “You know sometimes I don’t know why I even bother.”

  “Exactly,” I quipped.

“I should know better by now, right?” her face turned beet red, as her eyes became glassy.

I waved my head, as the dude pulled up in my car. Quietly, we dropped down into the whip, before I jotted through the lot. I aint say nothing to her, as I dropped her off at home. She had her own car, so she had it from there. She got out of my car without saying a word. I knew her feelings were hurt, but her new Louie would cheer her up. I didn’t have time to cuddle wit her, and tell her that it would be okay. Farrah was a big girl, and she needed to understand the man she was dealing wit. Nobody was putting a gun to her head, forcing her to stay. She made the decision to stay around, and I wasn’t going to stop doing what made me feel good.

Not even thirty minutes later, I pulled up to my other house. This house was much bigger than the one I shared wit Farrah, and was in a more expensive area. I figured that my daughter would grow up there, so she and her mama needed the better of the two houses I owned.

I hopped out of my car wit bags in tow. Using my key, I let myself into the house. There in the living room was Monay, Horace Junior, Kaylah, and Jasmine. Monay was looking at me like I’d stolen five dollars from her.

“Damn, that nigga just lets his self in and shit?” she asked Jasmine.

“Mind ya business,” I waved her off, as I sniffed the air. “Damn, it smells good in here,” I headed to the kitchen, following the scent. I was surprised to discover a fully cooked meal sitting on the stove. Jasmine was never domesticated, so we always ate out. But there on the stove was fried jumbo shrimp, foiled baked potatoes, grilled T-bone steaks, and a bowl of fresh salad.

“Got, damn,” I mumbled to myself, as I rubbed my hands together. “Jasmine, come here!” I shouted.

“Hmm?” she answered wit bright eyes, as she entered the kitchen.

“You gon fix daddy a plate?” I slapped her ass.

She playfully rolled her eyes. “I guess.”

Grabbing a stool to sit at the kitchen’s island, I watched her fix my food. “Since when do you know how to cook?”

She shrugged. “I called Nay, and she showed me how to do this. I made sure that she instructed me, but I did everything myself.”

I furrowed my brows. “What made you wanna learn?”

“Well,” she bit her bottom lip, as she placed my plate in front of me. “I do have a child to feed, and we can’t always go out to eat.”

I nodded with my lip poked out. “So, you did all this for Kaylah?”

  She nodded. “Her and…you.”

I smiled brightly. It had been like pulling teeth to get her to admit that she even cared about a nigga. Yeah, she would give me the pussy, but she was still acting stingy wit her heart. She could be so fucking difficult, and would always fuck me until my soul left my body, and then tell me afterward, “I’m done. Now, go home to your bitch.” And she’d really send my ass home. She’d throw a fit if I tried to spend a night, like I wasn’t the nigga paying all the bills in that bitch.

“That’s what’s up,” I cheesed, as I dug into my food.

“Kaydoa, who these bags for?” she questioned, as she sifted through the bags I’d brought wit me.

“The biggest one is yours,” I told her wit a mouthful of food.

She reached into the shopping bag, and pulled out the purse. She grinned. “This is cute.” She fingered the price tag. “Kaydoa, really? This shit is high as hell.”

  “And?” I shrugged.

“Whatever,” she waved her head. “That’s your money.”

  “Exactly,” I nodded.

Unexpectedly, she walked over, and wrapped her arms around me, and kissed my cheek. “Thank you. You always spoiling me. Is it because you love me?”

  I smirked. “Of course.”

She sucked her teeth, as she pulled away. “Yeah right, nigga. Yo ass still aint spending a night.” She headed to the living room.

“That’s what you think,” I mumbled. Yeah, I’d bought her that purse to butter her ass up. I aint give a fuck what she was talking about. After spending over five racks on her, I was spending the night. On my mama.

  Black Reign

I glanced at the clock, realizing that it was five in the morning. I’d just rolled over and discovered that Kaydoa’s arms were wrapped tightly around me. Despite all my objections his ass had w
easeled into spending the night.

After fucking for two hours straight, I’d collapsed, and fell into a deep slumber. I meant to put his ass out first, but I was too damn tired. We had obviously tired ourselves out, and I didn’t know about him, but I’d slept great. Judging by the way his ass was snoring, he was sleeping good too. I guess the only person not getting any sleep was Farrah. Her ass had been calling his phone all night, and I’d forced him to turn the ringer off, before we began our fuck session.

As I stared at the phone, I noticed it vibrating on my nightstand. Feeling a little messy, I decided to answer it. “Hello.”

  “He...hello?” she hesitated.

  “Yeah?”

“Uh, where is Kaydoa?” she snapped.

  “He’s sleep.”

“So…so, why are you answering his phone?”

“Shit, I’m trying to help you out. You can’t seem to go to sleep, worrying about him. I’m trying to put ya mind at ease. He’s safe. Now you can go to sleep, and shit.”

“What?!” she screamed into the phone. “Black Reign, you dirty bitch, you! Put Kaydoa on the phone!”

“He sleep. I already told you that. I’ma tell him to call you when he wakes up,” I was about to hang up.

  “Wait! Wait!” she halted me.

“What?” I breathed into the phone.

“Did…did uh…did yall have sex?” her crazy ass asked me.

I actually laid there, laughing. “Man…” I drawled. “Why do you even wanna know? Is that gonna change anything for you?” I had to ask.

She sucked her teeth. “Why you can’t just be real with me? He won’t tell the truth, which is to be expected. So, I’m asking you. Woman to woman. Are you fucking my man?”

“Farrah, honestly…no. I aint fucking your man.”

“Why the fuck are you lying?!”

I giggled. “I aint lying. He aint ya man.”

“Look how stupid you sound. He’s coming home to me, baby. So go ahead, and suck his dick and whatnot. I’ll be back in the Galleria as soon as he comes through the door for my troubles. You just keep playing ya roll as the side bitch. You aint even the baby mama, cause that’s my title, bitch!”

I laughed harder, honestly holding back, because a huge part of me felt guilty. “Says the bitch calling from a empty bed. Bye, lil’ mama. I’ma let him come through there tomorrow. Rest easy.” And with that I ended the call.

“Why you got that girl going like that?” Kaydoa asked me groggily.

“If you would’ve took ya ass home you wouldn’t have this problem,” I sassed.

“Problems? Nah, you my only problem. I’m just talking about you fucking wit that girl. You messier than a muthafucka,” he smiled sheepishly.

“Let me find out you like bitches arguing over you,” I rolled over in his arms, now facing him. Grabbing his hard-on I gapped my legs, and allowed him to slide inside of me, forgetting all about Farrah and her plight.

  ******

I honestly didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I’d been all over the place with Kaydoa. In just a month’s time we’d gone to Cancun, Mexico, Vegas, and lastly Hawaii. Supposedly, the trips were geared toward getting Kaylah completely adjusted to me. Even though, I knew he was full of shit, me and my baby had become closer. So, she had no problems staying with me, whenever her daddy left. It was now to the point where she stayed with me a majority of the time, but it wasn’t because Kaydoa was cool with having her less. His ass was just right there too, so it made sense that she stayed at the house with…us.

The whole ‘us’ thing is what I was taking issue with. Yes, I loved Kaydoa’s dirty drawers, but I just wasn’t in a place where I could honestly call him my man, without feeling like a fool. I was just beginning to see what him fucking with Farrah had done to me. Me admitting that he was mine again would leave the door open to the hurt again. The pain that I felt when I found out that he’d backtracked to Farrah was nearly unbearable, and I didn’t think that I could survive another blow of that magnitude.

So, we were treading somewhere in the middle. He definitely stayed with me more than he did with Farrah. I spent time with him, and fucked him like he was mine. But eventually he’d go home to Farrah. I wasn’t even mad at that fact, anymore. Cause when I said, “Daddy, I need you.” He was there. With no hesitation.

I know that what we were doing didn’t make sense to many, but it worked for us…well, it worked for me and Kaydoa. I couldn’t speak for Farrah. Honestly, I didn’t quite understand her. Even if I didn’t understand all the work she’d had done, I’d be lying if I claimed that she was unattractive. There were plenty of other niggas out there that could probably be a better man to her, but she wanted Kaydoa. The shit was crazy, and it wasn’t for me to analyze. I was just gonna keep doing me…and doing Kaydoa.

“So, how was the trip?” Monay pried, as she rode on the passenger’s side of my car.

We’d just come back in town the day before from our trip to Hawaii. “It’s was cool,” I shrugged. “The scenery was beautiful, and Kaylah seemed to really enjoy it.”

She cut her eyes at me, giving me a funny look.

  “What?” I lifted a brow.

“And where did Farrah think Kaydoa was?” she folded her arms underneath her breasts.

  I hunched my shoulders. “I don’t know.”

She shook her head. “Yall two will make a muthafucka kill yall. I aint never seen a baby mama/baby daddy relationship quite like this. He’s taking you all around the world, and back again. I don’t even think he’s taken Farrah outside of Texas.”

I bucked my eyes, “That’s on her.”

  She nodded. “True.”

“But where is all this coming from? You think we wrong?” I asked.

She giggled, “Girl, I can’t believe you’d ask that. Like you really give a fuck. You and that nigga is gonna continue to carry on, anyway. All I know is that I couldn’t be Farrah. Both you muthafuckas would be dead.” She gazed out of the window. “And she’s taking care of that nigga’s baby, too. Yeah, she’s definitely dumb as hell. It’s really rather sad, and I kind of pity her. She loves that nigga so much that she’ll put up with whatever. I can’t even claim it’s about the money no more. The bitch got a good ass job at that marketing firm. Heard it was paying damn near six figures.”

I pursed my lips, feeling some type of way. I talked all that shit about Farrah, but she was actually doing something with herself. I just had Kaylah…and Kaydoa. Beyond them I had nothing going on, and that wasn’t a good feeling. And I was really clueless as to what I should be doing. Kaydoa didn’t want me working, and hustling was definitely not a option, anymore. Keeping it real, there was absolutely no reason for me to hustle. Before going to prison I had a stash of over a hundred thousand, and hadn’t had to touch it since I’d been home. Shit, I was even able to stack the money Kaydoa gave me, and had well over two hundred thousand in a separate account that he didn’t know about. I did that just to make sure that if he ever got on some trip shit with the money he gave me I’d be straight, regardless.

Still, I didn’t want to sit around being this little suburban wifey all day. Monay had grown content with that role, but it didn’t work for me. I got bored easily, and lived for excitement. Therefore, I was becoming antsy, and really needed to get my hands off into something.

“I hope Ant Pebbles don’t get drunk, and shit. Her ass be tripping when she get that liquor in her system,” Monay griped. But she wasn’t lying about Kaydoa’s mama. Somewhere along the line she’d become a chronic alcoholic, and was always creating scenes at family functions. Ever since her man Corey had left her, and gone out and gotten his own apartment she’d been tripping. It had gotten so bad that Kaydoa wouldn’t even let her keep Kaylah. So, Kaylah was actually closer to Kaydoa’s daddy. He turned out to be rather cool, and baby-sat Kaylah here and there. Shit, he was the most responsible grandparent out of the bunch, because my mama was still dick drunk, letting niggas run all over her. My daddy was
somewhere, sucking on a glass dick, and it was safe to say that his ass could stay where ever his ass was.

“Who barbequing the food?” I asked. We were headed to the first event of Kaydoa’s twenty-fourth birthday celebration. The festivities were kicking off, as a family day thing at Hermann Park, and then he’d have a huge party at the club later that night. Everybody was about turn up, because Kaydoa spared no expenses with his parties.

“It’s supposed to be Kaydoa, his daddy, and Hurt,” she sighed. “But you know how them niggas is. They probably gonna have Calvin do most of the work. Especially since they got the kids with them.”

“Girl, please. I’m sure with all the people there somebody is keeping a eye on the kids. But you right. Kaydoa’s ass is probably letting his daddy do all the work.”

“Yep. Maybe Kaydoa’s woman is helping out too,” she tittered.

I cut my eyes at her. “You always trying to be funny.”

“What?” she threw her hands up. “That’s his woman. Maybe she helped cook. Shit, if I was her I’d be spitting all through that damn food. This nigga got the audacity to have his baby mama there for everything. I mean, damn, where do you draw the line? You and her don’t even get along, and you subject to jump on her ass if the wind blows wrong. And Kaydoa don’t give a damn about putting her in that hostile environment.”

“Whatever,” I rolled my eyes. “So, you team Farrah now?”

Her shoulders trembled, as she laughed hard. “Bitch, stop it. You already know who I’m rocking with. I’m just saying. You and that Kaydoa are some fools with it. I don’t know what bitch in her right mind with put up with yall’s bullshit.”

“Whatever,” I waved her off, as I whipped into the lot of the park. We ended up having to park by the zoo that was actually in the back of the park. The park was packed, and I was glad that we didn’t have to navigate through the crowds with our kids with us.

I was switching in my little purple booty shorts with a simple short white halter top. My stomach was fully exposed, showing off my flat stomach. On me feet were a pair of Prada silver flat ankle length gladiator scandals. My chestnut brown tinted hair was down with a part down the middle. Shan had trained my hair, and had it looking healthy. I still sometimes had urges to get weave sewn in, but everyone acted like it was a cardinal sin for me to even suggest her adding extensions to my hair. Especially Kaydoa. He was always running his fingers through it, and kept insisting that I continue to wear my real hair.
