Spirit of the Lake Page 24

by Paty Jager

He searched for Crazy One, but she had disappeared as well.

“Would you like to see my world?” He held out his hand, she placed hers in it. He couldn’t feel the weight or pressure of her hand, but heat raced up his arm, and they walked hand in hand into the lake.

He smiled and gave thanks to the Creator who had blessed him beyond anything he dared dream. His love for the woman entering his world brightened not only his heart but his future. He would never be alone again. Dove would be at his side forever.
