Marley was pretty sure that her eyes were the size of the bangle bracelets on her wrist, and her mouth opened and closed a few times as she struggled to let go of her tantrum and absorb his words. It was almost as if he read her mind. Her imagination was running wild with images of lying across his knees and begging him to put his hands on her. Oh yes, she wanted that. Even if they seemed to keep rubbing each other wrong with their words, something about their chemistry was completely and devastatingly right.
“Now that we have that out of the way, why don’t we return to enjoy the show? Where my little sister is just warming Foster up for the main event.”
“Your sister?” she asked with a shocked look.
“Yes, Analise and I share a few bits of our DNA, but that’s not a discussion for right now. I spoke with her earlier and she’s got a special treat for her sub tonight that I think you’ll enjoy watching.”
He walked her back to the doorway, and then carefully turned her to face the scene again, pulling her back flush against his chest, and resting his fingertips over her hips. The connection felt like a branding, and she crossed her arms over her breasts to hide the way her nipples responded.
There was a murmuring in the crowd as Mistress Ana switched from a paddle to a flogger, and moved around her partner’s body to land the blows on his flanks. His head dropped back and he moaned loudly around the ball gag, his cock twitching in response to every lash.
Marley couldn’t help but admire the way the lean man’s muscles flexed and his skin gleamed with sweat. He was clearly enjoying himself, and yet he was obviously in pain. The juxtaposition of the scene was exactly what she wanted to explore for herself. Perhaps tonight she would finally learn by experience rather than from a book.
Ana spoke softly to another man who’d been observing from nearby. He was significantly shorter than Foster, but magnificently well-built. His chiseled physique reminded her of the body builders she saw competing on television, but when he dropped to his knees in front of Foster, all thoughts of TV went out of her brain. Marley couldn’t have torn her eyes away from the scene in front of her if she wanted to. As she watched, the second submissive began purposefully sucking Foster’s rock-hard cock, and by the flexing tension of his muscles, the sub was doing a damn fine job.
“You see, Foster has bisexual fantasies, but he’s never been allowed to experience them, because Ana doesn’t like to share her subs. He’s also had a thing for Wyatt since they met last year. To my knowledge, Wyatt has never been with another man, but he’s wanted Ana to be his Mistress for so long that he’s willing to accept Foster to have her. Have you ever seen a straight man suck cock, Marley?” Lex asked harshly.
Her body was trembling, as she processed his words, and shook her head. It was mind-blowingly erotic to know that Wyatt was giving his first blow job, and Foster was experiencing his first man.
“It doesn’t happen often around here. Most men are too skittish to expose that part of their sexuality. Especially in an environment like this where so many Alpha males have to live in peaceful accord,” he continued, “Do you see how much pleasure he’s receiving? Even as his Mistress pounds on his tender back with a flogger, he begs her for more.”
“They’re beautiful together,” she whispered breathlessly.
She saw Lex nod out the corner of her eye, “Yes, they are. I’ll be curious to see if she allows Wyatt to stay and their two becomes a permanent three.”
“Do people do that?” she asked turning to look at him in surprise. “Live as a threesome I mean?”
Lex’s blue eyes were lit with amusement, and the corners of his mouth turned up. “Ah, I see you still have much to learn. Many people live the poly lifestyle with multiple committed partners, while others just enjoy the non-commitment of hot sex with willing couples at these parties.”
She nodded as though she understood, but her mind was spinning. Who were these couples—or groups—and why had she never known anyone like that? Her body tingled everywhere Lex touched, so it was difficult to imagine that a second person could make her respond so strongly, but if the right person came along… No. She scolded herself mentally. She wasn’t here to become a child of the sixties throwing free love about to whoever was willing. It was important that she stay grounded in reality and focus on learning more about her submissive side. Someday in the future she would revisit her other fantasies, but tonight all she wanted was for Lex to take control and teach her to submit.
No matter how much they butted heads, she knew she would never be satisfied with walking away from him until she’d explored this thing between them.
“One more thing, Marley,” he spoke against her ear, his fingers digging into her waist slightly to hold her. “You’re done running from me. It’s obvious there’s chemistry between us, so I’m giving you one last out. If you want to play tonight, pick a safeword.”
“But I’m not sure I want to participate tonight—” she started to argue only to be silenced by his finger against her lips. Instinctively she darted her tongue out to taste it, and felt him tense, his cock twitching in his slacks against her backside.
“We’ve been dancing around each other since the moment our eyes met, princess. Don’t kid yourself, and definitely don’t lie to me. Now, pick a safeword, or we’ll walk away friends. I’ll never bother you again.” His voice was like a soft growl that vibrated through her whole body, making her skin tingle, and her pussy drip.
In front of her, the Domme was standing behind Foster, and Marley figured her fingers were fucking into his ass as he cried out behind his ball gag, and his abs tightened.
The moment his Mistress gave him permission, Foster let out a loud, muffled yell. He slammed his hips against the submissive sucking his cock, unloading his semen into the man’s throat. His body flexed and gyrated with the pure passion that rippled through him. She was awestruck, and struggling to remember what Lex had just asked her.
“Princess? A safeword please?” Lex tempted her with that sensual sexy tone, but she didn’t know how to respond. She’d never even considered what her safeword might be.
“Yes.”
“Yes isn’t a safeword, Marley.”
“No, I mean yes, I’ll stay, and I want to play with you, or you know, learn from you, but I don’t know what my safeword is. I’ve never picked one before.”
As the Domme and the other submissive helped release Foster’s cuffs from the hook that had been holding him, Lex turned and led Marley away from the room and into an art nook next to a painting and a vase full of fragrant orange flowers. People chatted nearby, paying them no attention as they sought a moment of privacy.
“Surely you’ve considered it, princess? You said you’ve been intrigued by BDSM for a while.” Lex narrowed his gaze on her. He was so tall, and she was so short that they seemed an unlikely pair, and she wondered if she should have worn high heels to this event. Then again, as much walking as she’d done, her feet would have been killing her by now.
“Stop stalling, Marley. My cock is aching and my skin is tingling with the need to strip your clothes off and taste every inch of you.”
“Starbucks.”
“Starbucks? Is that the word you’re choosing?”
“Yep. If I’m thinking about Starbucks then there’s no way I’m finding pleasure,” she said with a firm nod of her head.
“Okay, Starbucks it is. Let me be clear, Marley. The moment you say Starbucks we’re done for the night. I’ll hold you, comfort you, and answer any questions you might have, but the scene will be over and there will be no sexual activity between us. Do you understand?” The look he gave her was so serious that it almost made her laugh, but she caught herself at the last second.
“I understand, Lex.”
“Sir. You’ll call me Sir for the rest of the evening.” He corrected gently.
“Sir.” She agreed, smiling up at him.
A breath of air hissed from between his teeth and he smiled back, “Fuck that sounds good com
ing from you. Now, I have to collect a few things before we can find someplace more private. I don’t usually participate at these parties anymore, so I didn’t bring my own bag.”
When he turned and began to lead her down the hallway, she resisted and frowned at their connected hands, “Wait, Lex-er-Sir, I mean. Don’t you have to give me a bracelet?”
Lex froze and she was staring at the back of his head for a moment before she realized that he wasn’t angry. He was trying hard not to laugh. When he turned back around he gave her a tight hug and kissed the crown of her head as he snickered.
“Hey! It’s not funny. I’m new to this, and you said you were an open book.” She pouted a bit, tugging her hand free of his.
“Tell me again, how you ended up at this party tonight, princess?” Lex asked sounding both exasperated, and amused.
“Killian invited me. Well, I sort of begged and pleaded, but he did ultimately put me on the guest list,” she explained, still a little pouty over his laughter. It wasn’t like there were safeword guidelines. Right? Had she missed that part in the paperwork because she was so flummoxed over the waiver of bodily harm?
“That’s right, Killian. Have you spoken to him yet this evening?”
She shook her head, “No, but in all fairness I’ve been rather preoccupied.”
Lex looked around and then smiled wider, “Right, this particular part of the house is just full of distractions. I think before I steal you away for the evening we’d better find Killian. Something tells me he didn’t intend for you to hook up here tonight.”
“Why would he care? He’s not my boss.”
Lex flinched, “No, but he’s mine, and he’s also one of my closest friends.”
“Killian’s your boss?”
He nodded as he began leading her farther into a part of the house she hadn’t checked out yet.
“What do you do for him?” she prodded when he stayed quiet.
“I fly his plane.”
“You’re a pilot?” she didn’t mean for it to sound like such a strange thing, but it really caught her off guard. She imagined him at the helm of a pirate ship, not a 747. She immediately had visions of him wearing a pilot’s hat and her loins fired up like a campfire had just been lit between her thighs. He would look like sin in a pilot’s uniform.
“That’s usually who flies the plane,” he teased, making her blush. If only he knew where her thoughts were he might not tease her so much. “I’ve been flying his corporate jet for the last four years. It was more lucrative to work for him than for the airline I’d been with for a decade, and my schedule is more flexible, so I have more time for Kaia.”
“It just surprised me. How do you deal with your daughter when you have to travel?”
“She has a nanny who’s been with us since she was born, so she’s fine while I’m gone.” Lex answered, “I’m not even sure she notices me missing anymore. Lately she’s been more interested in going to the mall with her friends than spending time with her dad.”
“Oh.”
His eyebrow rose in question, but before she could say more, the man they were looking for appeared in the doorway of an office, zipping his fly. Behind him, a voluptuous blonde woman in the arms of another man was dabbing her lips with a tissue.
“Killian?” She didn’t know whether she was surprised at his sudden appearance, or by what he’d obviously been doing.
“Oh, Marley! You made it!” Killian said, beaming back at her. His blond-streaked brown hair was stylishly tousled, and his green eyes were warm as he gave her a one-armed hug. “Are you enjoying the party?”
“I am. Lex has been kind enough to take me under his wing for the evening.” She was taken aback when Killian’s face turned white as a ghost, and he frowned at Lex over her shoulder.
“Lex?” His normally easygoing demeanor was suddenly stiff. “How did you two meet?”
“Here. You could say he seduc—”
“It was purely chance, Killian. I noticed her when she walked in the room, but I had no idea she was one of yours when I introduced myself.” Lex interrupted her, acting as though she needed Killian’s permission to continue to see him.
“I’m not one of his anything!” she snapped crossing her arms over her chest in frustration.
A wicked look crossed Killian’s face, and he smiled. “No, you’re not Marley, but only because I’m otherwise engaged. Under normal circumstances it would be a terrible form of disrespect for Lex to hit on you when you’re here at my invitation.”
“But you…I mean…you and I aren’t… well, we’re just not.” She finally said with a harrumph.
“And I’m relieved to hear it.” Lex assured her, pressing a kiss to her temple.
“So am I if it counts for anything.” The blonde woman said from behind Killian.
“Alana, dear, Marley is the new submissive I was telling you about. She’s the graphic artist working on our campaign for Alla-Core. We’ve been friends for years, nothing more. No need to be jealous, love.” Killian held his hand out for Alana, and she immediately moved to his side and dropped to her knees next to his feet. His hand found her hair and he stroked her as if she were a house cat. “Marley these are my partners, Doug and Alana Davis. And Lex, you already know each other I believe.”
“Of course. Congratulations on your recent…explorations.” Lex said politely, drawing Marley’s curiosity again. She knew that it somehow had something to do with Killian when all three people exchanged looks amongst themselves before returning his smile.
“Lex, can we talk for a moment alone?” Killian said. Gone were the pleasantries, his tone was firm, as though it wasn’t really a question so much as a demand, and he and Lex moved off to the side, leaving Marley to face the couple alone.
“Would you like a glass of sherry, Marley?” Alana said, moving to the small bar on one wall to retrieve the alcohol.
“No, thank you. I’m not much of a drinker.” She paused and then asked, “So, is Killian usually in the role of bodyguard, or is that something new just for me?”
Alana giggled, and Doug tried to cover a snort of laughter, “He’s pretty protective of people he cares about. Don’t take it the wrong way.”
Marley nodded to Doug, “I’ll keep that in mind and try not to read him the riot act for interfering in something that’s not his business.”
“That’s where you’re wrong.” Doug said, shaking his head. “He’s the owner of the house, the Master of the parties, and in this case, boss to both of you. I guarantee it’s his business. Lex was right to get approval first.”
“That’s an interesting perspective. Almost caveman-like. I’ll have to watch out for Lex’s club when he comes back to carry me off.”
Alana chose that moment to rejoin their conversation, “I’ve always wondered about that man’s club…”
Marley might have gotten jealous if it weren’t for the wink Alana gave her over her glass of sherry. “I’ll get back to you on that once I’ve done further research.” She joked, relaxing a little. “So you’re Killian’s business partners?”
“I am, yes. Alana is a full-time domestic goddess, and I thank God every day for her.” Doug answered, kissing his wife on the cheek.
“Domestic goddess?” Marley asked with a frown.
“Meaning I don’t have a career per se. I keep track of all of the charitable organizations that Doug and Killian are part of. It sounds boring, but they keep me on my toes.” Alana said, just as Killian and Lex returned to them looking much more comfortable with each other.
“Marley, I can’t say that Lex would have been my first choice, but I won’t interfere if you’re comfortable with him.” Killian reached out for Alana, and drew her back against his chest. He confirmed that Doug was a part of their dynamic by stroking his hand up the other man’s back to the nape of his neck in a possessive hold similar to the one Lex had on her earlier.
She hesitated and turned her head to meet Lex’s bright blue eyes. He didn’t look concerne
d about her answer at all. In fact, he looked confident that he already knew what it would be. Trying not to be rankled by his confidence, or the unusual threesome in front of her, she faced Killian again and said, “Yes, Sir. I am.”
“Good. Lex, as I said, she’s near and dear to my heart. We’ve known each other for years, so if you mess this up…” Killian’s words drifted off and he looked at Lex expectantly.
“You have my word that she’ll come back in one piece, Killian. She intrigues me.” Lex said as he slid his fingers into Marley’s hair at the nape of her neck just as Killian was doing to Doug. She shivered under the seductive warmth of his palm.
“I even have a safeword; it’s Starbucks.” she interjected, wincing when Lex squeezed her neck tightly at her interruption.
Killian laughed loudly, and she could see both Alana and Doug trying to cover their laughter. A blush of embarrassment crept up her cheeks and she dropped her head to stare at her feet. It was just her luck that she was completely surrounded by experienced Dominants and submissives. No one seemed to remember what it was like to be new to this crazy ball game.
Feeling thoroughly embarrassed, she kept quiet while Killian and Lex discussed some sort of bag of toys that Lex felt he needed for the evening. Doug left the room for a few moments and returned with a large black duffel bag and two bottles of water which he handed to Lex.
The moment the items were in his possession, Lex said goodbye, and led her from the room like the devil himself was hot on their heels. She remained silent as they made their way upstairs to the second level of the home, and into a private bedroom. Lex shut and locked the door behind him, and then turned to face her dropping the duffel to the floor, with the water bottles on top.
