Fearless (Pier 70 Book 2) Page 20

“Bed.” The sharp bark of Dare’s voice made his dick jump. He doubted he could get hard again so quickly, but stranger things had happened. Considering he was about to get fucked by Dare, it was highly possible.

“Where do you want me?” He met Dare’s gaze as he challenged him.

“On your knees. Chest on the bed.”

Without complaint, Noah crawled onto the small bed, keeping his ass in the air. Dare stopped him from moving too far, then jerked him back so that he was practically hanging off the end of the bed.

Fully expecting Dare to impale him, Noah nearly came up off the mattress when he felt the warmth of Dare’s tongue against his sensitive flesh.

“Oh, fuck.” He hadn’t expected Dare to rim his ass so exquisitely. His dick returned to half-mast almost immediately. Using his hand, he worked his shaft, enjoying the warring sensation of his hand on his dick and the tongue fucking he was receiving from Dare. “Fuck, that feels good. Too good.”

Dare spread Noah’s ass cheeks and tongue-fucked him harder, making brilliant flashes of light pulse behind his closed eyelids. He never wanted him to stop. When Dare’s mouth traveled up the center of his back, Noah prepared himself for Dare’s cock to spear him, but it didn’t come.

“Relax, Noah. I’m not in a hurry.”

He laughed because that sure hadn’t been the case a little while ago. Then again, he knew Dare enjoyed the teasing because, when he finally did come, it would be explosive. Noah moaned softly when Dare worked one lubed finger into his ass, then a second. He rocked back against Dare’s hand as those fingers brushed his prostate, making his body hum to life again.

“Dare…” Noah gripped the comforter with one hand, spreading his legs farther apart so Dare would fuck him deeper. “Don’t stop. Feels so good.” Better than good, actually.

  “You ready for me yet?”

Noah nodded his affirmation but realized Dare couldn’t see his head. “God, yes. Fuck me. I need to feel your cock inside me.”

Dare’s fingers slipped out and the head of his dick pressed against him. Noah relaxed, then pressed back against the intrusion. As promised, Dare didn’t rush, tormenting Noah as he slipped past the ring of muscle, then pulled back, repeating the exquisite torture for what felt like forever.

“Aww, fuck… So fucking tight. Relax for me.” Dare’s hands gripped Noah’s hips roughly. “Ahh, yeah. Just like that… Love your ass.”

Noah swallowed hard, wondering if Dare even knew what he was saying.

Dare retreated, thrust forward again. Over and over, Noah took the sweet penetration, meeting every drive of Dare’s hips with his own until Dare was pounding him over and over, leaning over him and holding Noah’s shoulders to keep him in place.

Dare’s rough groans echoed in the small room.

  “Dare… Oh, fuck… Don’t stop.”

“Never gonna stop…” Dare was breathing hard as he slammed into him again and again. It felt like hours passed by the time Dare’s thrusts became erratic, his fingers digging into Noah’s shoulders as he fucked him harder and harder.

“Come for me, Dare. Come for me, baby.” Oh, God, it was so damn good. Noah never wanted him to stop, but he was going to come again, and he didn’t want to until Dare found his release.

  “Noah… Oh, God… Noah. Can’t stop… Gonna…” Dare’s body stilled above him.

Noah jerked his dick roughly, his climax slamming into him as powerfully as Dare had been fucking him.

They collapsed on the bed, and Noah pulled Dare against his side, kissing his head and holding him. He never wanted today to end, never wanted to leave this cabin. They only had a couple more days on this ship, and he wanted to spend it right here in Dare’s arms for as long as he could.

Because no matter what, reality was going to come back in roughly forty-eight hours when they docked in Florida, and Noah knew that it wouldn’t be like this forever. Nothing this perfect would last forever.

“Food,” Dare grumbled a short while later. “Feed me, Noah.”

Noah chuckled, then kissed Dare’s forehead again. “Fine. Let’s shower. Then I’ll feed you.”

“Food, not cock.” Dare opened his eyes and looked at Noah. “Although I’ll take that for dessert. Oh, and we’re gonna need to get more condoms.”

  That they were.

And just like that, the easiness returned, and Noah was eager to see what the rest of the trip would bring. They still had two more nights together, so he had that to look forward to.

For now, it would have to be enough.

  Twenty-Seven

  Sunday, June 5th

Cruise, day eight, back in port

  “Dare…”

Noah tried to break the kiss, but Dare wasn’t going to let him. He wasn’t ready just yet. The ship was docked, and they’d been advised to disembark, but Dare wanted to stay right here for as long as he could.

“If we don’t get off this ship, we’re gonna miss our flight back to Texas.”

Dare slid his lips along Noah’s jaw, kissing him while he worked the button of Noah’s jeans open. “There’ll be another flight.”

“Dare…” This time the word held a warning.

Dare worked his lips up to Noah’s ear, nipping the lobe. “Turn around and put your hands on the wall.”

Despite his objections, Noah pivoted away from him while Dare worked Noah’s jeans down his legs, then freed his own cock and suited up with the condom he’d produced when Noah had been in the shower.

“We’re gonna be late,” Noah muttered.

“We’ll be fine. Now spread those beautiful legs for me.”

Dare watched as Noah worked one foot out of his jeans, then did as instructed. Because they really were short on time, Dare opted to forego the foreplay, greasing his cock with lube before slipping inside the tight warmth of Noah’s body.

For the past two days, they’d fucked more times than Dare could count. He felt like a damn teenager, his dick always hard and ready. Hell, Dare had already fucked Noah once this morning, but the thought of getting on a plane and having to wait several more hours before he could do it again wasn’t at all appealing.

“Fuck…” Dare hissed when he pushed in deep. “I could do this forever.”

Noah flattened his face against the wall, then reached back and grabbed Dare’s hip while Dare pressed into him, thrusting slowly at first. Standing up wasn’t the easiest position for them, especially since they were the same height, but Dare didn’t care.

“You like that? Like feeling my cock in your ass?”

Noah nodded, his breathing ragged already.

“Yeah? Tell me. Tell me how much you like it.”

  “So … good…”

“Bend over.” Dare needed more leverage, especially if he was supposed to hurry this along. He wasn’t lying when he said he could do this forever. They’d spent the last two days fucking like rabbits and still Dare hadn’t gotten enough of Noah.

Noah turned, planting his hands on the vanity counter while Dare moved with him. Once Noah was bent over, Dare grabbed his hips and fucked him harder, slamming in deep, retreating, then slamming in deep again.

  “Damn… Noah… I can’t get enough.”

  “Less talking… More fucking.”

Dare chuckled, then focused all his energy on sending them both over the edge.

Several hours later, Noah was sitting on the airplane next to Dare, thankful that they’d somehow ended up on the same flight home with the rest of Dare’s friends. Then again, since Milly had been in charge of all of the travel arrangements, perhaps it hadn’t been a coincidence. And everyone was there—Milly, AJ, Hudson, Teague, and Roan. Well, everyone except for Gannon and Cam. Those two were off on their honeymoon. Noah recalled Cam going on and on about Gannon’s first time to jump out of a plane or something. He hoped like hell Cam got that on camera.

Dare leaned over, his mouth against Noah’s ear. “Good thing you let me fuck you already or we’d be joining the m
ile-high club in a few minutes.”

A tremor raced down Noah’s spine at Dare’s seductive words. Maybe they were a little lewd, but it still turned Noah on. And yes, it was a good thing. Considering they’d spent the majority of the past two days doing little except fucking one another, it was a wonder Noah could still get it up.

“So you’re off the hook for a few hours.”

  Noah smirked. “Is that right?”

Dare sat up straight in his chair, grinning like a fool. “That’s right. But no promises once this thing is back on the ground.”

Noah had noticed that ever since the first time they’d made love, Dare had turned everything into sex between them. Sure, they talked about anything and everything, but it seemed Dare’s central focus was on sex. It was as though that was his armor, his way of dealing with this connection they shared. At first, Noah hadn’t thought anything of it, but now that they were headed back home, he had to wonder if they would be able to take the next step. If Dare only wanted to keep this as a casual sexual involvement, Noah wasn’t sure he could oblige.

Granted, the sex was phenomenal and he hoped it would never end, but he needed something more. And no, he didn’t miss the irony of the situation. Back when they’d been together years ago, Noah had been all about keeping it physical between them while Dare was the one pushing for more.

Now, it looked as though they were trading places.

Glancing over at Dare, Noah wondered if it was something he should mention.

Dare beat him to the punch. “You working when you get back?”

“I’ve got another week off. Figured I’d need a vacation from the vacation.”

  “And do you?”

Noah smirked. “I could use some sleep, yes.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment.”

It dawned on Noah that he didn’t know whether they lived close by or not. He turned to Dare. “Where do you live, anyway? Which lake is the marina on?”

  “Lake Buchanan.”

Noah knew right where that was. “Not far from me, then. Thirty minutes, maybe. I’m in Cedar Park.”

Dare looked at him. “So, you think we might hang out this week?”

  “It’s possible.”

Dare leaned over and pressed his mouth to Noah’s ear. “A little late to be playing hard to get now. But, if you’d like, I’ll be more than happy to chase you until your clothes fall of.”

Noah chuckled, trying to ignore the fact that the deep rumble of Dare’s voice was making his dick hard. Knowing Dare would only keep on—not a good thing on an airplane full of people—Noah conceded, answering Dare’s question. “I’d like to see you this week if possible. Maybe you can come by my place. I can cook you dinner.”

Dare instantly looked away, pretending to be focusing on something outside the window. “Or you could come by my place. We’ll grab food out somewhere.”

Interesting. It sounded innocent, but again, Noah was already suspecting that Dare was trying to keep his distance. Still, he figured he could play along. “Sounds like a plan.”

Leaning back in his chair, Noah closed his eyes. Sleep wouldn’t come, but no one else would realize that. He needed a few minutes. There were a lot of ways he could see this playing out, but none of them would end well. Although he’d gone and fallen for this man twice in his lifetime, Noah was pretty sure he was the only one willing to give it everything.

And that … that was disappointing.

  Twenty-Eight

  Monday, June 6th

  Pier 70 Marina

The trip back home was decidedly less stressful than the trip to the ship, that was for sure. In fact, it had been rather pleasant. Dare had been on the same flight as everyone else, which meant he got a few extra hours to spend with Noah before they went their separate ways in the real world.

Even though he was going to be busy with the marina, covering it with Roan until Cam returned from his honeymoon, Dare was glad to be back. Although he hadn’t seen Noah since their plane had touched down in Austin yesterday afternoon, he’d heard from him. They’d traded texts and even had a conversation last night that had resulted in phone sex, something Dare now was quite fond of. Especially when it came to phone sex with Noah. The man had a dirty mouth on him.

Now, as he stood behind the counter waiting for Roan to make his appearance for the day, Dare continued to glance at his phone. He felt stupid for being overeager to hear from Noah, but he couldn’t help it. Their last couple of days on the ship had been mind-blowing. The only thing he had wanted to do was get Noah naked and beneath him again and again. And now it was all he could think about.

Except, last night on the phone, Noah had mentioned taking Dare on a date. According to him, it seemed to be the logical next step since they’d agreed to take things slow. Not that Dare thought fucking like rabbits was taking things slow, but apparently Noah wanted to do this the right way.

Naked was the right way, if you asked him.

Looking up, Dare noticed Roan coming around the corner and heading toward the door. Since Roan lived in the other upstairs apartment, he didn’t have far to go to get to work.

He took in Roan’s disheveled appearance. If Dare was right, Roan had just rolled out of bed.

The door opened and Dare waited for the chime to sound. When it did, Roan squeaked, damn near hitting the ceiling when he jumped, glancing back at the door as though it had bitten him in the ass.

“What the fuck was that?” Roan asked, glaring at him.

“It’s the new chime,” he said proudly. He’d set out to adjust the timing, as they’d done on numerous occasions, but when that hadn’t worked, Dare had opted to add a few features. Personally, he was quite fond of it. “I couldn’t fix the timing, but the new sound’s cool, huh?”

“No, it’s not,” Roan grumbled. “Change it back.”

Dare snorted, but it wasn’t that he hadn’t expected it. The sound of a dog growling ferociously probably wasn’t the best way to welcome customers to the marina, but it was still funny as shit.

Reaching for the controller he’d placed under the counter, Dare hit a button.

  “That better?”

  Roan rolled his eyes. “No.”

Okay, so monkeys were apparently out, too. This guy was a party pooper.

“How ’bout this?” He hit the button again.

  “Dare!”

Laughing, he changed it from the hyenas to the boring chirp it had been originally. Still, he had no intention of removing the new sounds, so at least he had options for the future.

“Why do you look like you’re hungover?” Dare questioned, stepping out of the way when Roan reached for the coffeepot.

“Because I’ve been up half the damn night,” he rumbled in response.

“Your sister?” Dare knew that Roan’s sister was going through a rough patch. She was an addict, and she’d relapsed at least five times in the past year. Roan was spending a lot of time trying to get her into a rehab that would keep her for longer than a week. Apparently her freak-outs were frequent and disturbing to the other patients. Since she refused not to act belligerent, they were having a hard time finding a place that would keep her. Dare didn’t envy the man at all. Not for the first time, he was grateful that he was an only child.

  “We got any appointments today?”

Okay, so apparently Roan wasn’t going to go into the details.

“Just one,” he told Roan, glancing at the calendar. “Tomorrow it picks back up, though.”

Good thing Cam would be back by the weekend, because they’d be busy for sure by then. With summer temperatures officially in effect, the lake was going to be hopping.

“When’s Lulu coming back?” Roan inquired.

“Tim’s gonna drop her off this afternoon.”

  Roan nodded.

He gave Roan a minute to sip his coffee before he continued. “Oh, and I’ve gotta slip out at lunch.”

Roan’s eyebrow lifted. “Hot date with the firefighte
r?”

He wished. “No. I promised Grams I’d stop by when I got back. It was too late to do that last night.”

“Gotcha. I can watch the place while you’re out.”

“Keith called earlier,” Dare noted. “Said he’d be happy to help in the office if we need him.” It wasn’t unusual for Cam’s brother-in-law to offer to help, but they usually didn’t need to take him up on his offer.

“If the week picks up, we might.” Roan glanced toward the back door. “You seen Teague yet today?”

“Nope.” And Dare wasn’t sure he would. Something weird was going on with that kid. Ever since the night of the wedding, Teague had been acting strangely. Granted, he was always standoffish toward Hudson, but this seemed different for whatever reason.

“I’ll text him. I’m gonna go talk to Hudson.”

Dare nodded, watching the parking lot as a truck pulled in and two guys climbed out.

Looked like they had their first customers of the day.

Although he still had a week off, Noah had woken early that morning, geared up and ready to do something. He didn’t really care what. Since his calendar was clear—he’d pushed all appointments for his roofing business to next week—he had nothing to do and he wasn’t used to that.

So, the first thing he did was clean his already spotless apartment from top to bottom. He hoped to convince Dare to come over, so he used that as his excuse. Truth was, it wouldn’t have mattered. He would’ve cleaned it anyway, but seeing Dare again was definitely good incentive.

By the time he was finished doing that, it was after noon, and Noah found himself picking up his phone and checking to make sure it was working. He did that at least a couple dozen times before he realized he was becoming obsessed. Seriously, he was thirty-eight years old, damn it. Far too old to be watching his phone, waiting for a call or a text or … something. He knew how to use the damn thing.

His phone rang and he damn near fell over. He glanced at the screen to see that it was his mother. For a brief moment, he contemplated letting it go to voice mail.
