Zahra proves that sex demons do it better as she goes from captive to captivator.

Sex Demon Zahra Aniron is a closet romantic. Too bad she spends her time having hot, kinky sex with paying strangers. But she needs the money to pay off her sister’s debt to wizard thugs. There could be worse things than getting paid for pleasure, especially since a sex demon needs climax to survive.

As a blacksmith, Lennox Aegros puts his fury to good use pounding steel into swords. When he arrives at a new town, his real cause for being there isn’t to sell weaponry, it’s for revenge. When he finds the succubus he’s been searching for, her beauty means he can mix business with pleasure. But the joke’s on Lennox, because as he succeeds in torturing his victim by repeatedly bringing her to the brink of orgasm and then denying her the release that she so desperately needs, he realizes that Zahra’s slow demise means the breaking of a heart he didn’t think he had.

  Dedication

For my family and their constant, unconditional love.

For my mom, for showing me what a strong, loving woman is. For being my number one fan since the days I wrote with crayons, and for being the only one bold enough to discuss scandalous synonyms with me.

For my grandma, one of few grandmas adventurous enough to read about sex demons and any other crazy stuff I come up with.

For my aunts who are also my best friends. Thanks for being the first ones to pop the champagne and to mail me leopard panties upon a signed contract. No wonder my heroines kick ass, because I’m surrounded by them.

To my dad and grandpa, whose love, affection, pride, and support is so much that I don’t even need them to read this book…And to my crazy uncles for getting a kick out of my erotica career.

To my coworkers at Dublin Volkswagen for not slapping me with a sexual harassment suit since I wrote the majority of this work while answering their phones.

Finally, to three wonderful demons from my past; MFS, JCW, & DTA

  Chapter 1

Returning the metal-barbed chains to her wall of toys, Zahra Aniron exhaled the last tremors of passion from her body. Zeth was one of her favorite customers, but she had to admit, this time the chains had left her bloodier than usual. Her favorite patron had a spectacular ability to mix pleasure and pain, but today he’d gotten slightly carried away with the pointed bonds. Zeth showered her with riches, grateful for her erotic service; as a sex demon, she was one of the few creatures that would enjoy his unusual sexual appetite. As a succubus, she was more than grateful; she was in need of virile men like Zeth. Tonight, he’d tied her arms above her head with the cold, metal chains. As she squirmed against his expert hands, the barbs bit into her skin. The pain forced her to be still, a slave to the pleasure he brought her.

A fresh shiver slithered down her spine as she recalled the sensation of his tongue against her clit. She’d been naked, waiting, and he’d forced himself against her most sensitive spot within seconds. The immediate onslaught of pleasure was torture. Her skin had tingled as his tongue circled her bud. Not bothering to warm her up, causing her thighs to tremble. He groaned, pressing his face deeper into the folds of her flesh. The pleasure was too much at once, nearly unbearable, even for a sex demon. As her thighs closed together in an attempt to lessen the erotic onslaught, Zeth’s strong hands pried her legs apart again.

The man quickly tore more barbed chains from her wall and tied each of her legs down to the bed. Zahra didn’t dare struggle against the cutting bonds. The threat of the pointed metal was a hot thrill. She’d become a slave to whatever pleasure Zeth demanded of her. With her thighs strapped down against the mattress, her core was left wide open. Zeth sat back and appraised her. She knew she was wet, glistening for his affection. Need coursed through her like liquid fire. Without further warning, he dove against her warm center, lapping up her juices like an aphrodisiac. She exploded sooner than she liked, but already her succubus needs were fulfilled as her body accumulated strength from ecstasy. Her heart raged against her chest, her womanly folds a hot tingling mess of moisture. And then Zeth dove in.

He jerked into her, going so deep it had her nearing climax once more. With every thrust, he pounded against her clit, sending a wave of pleasure through her. As a succubus, she needed climax to survive, and this was one client who could give it to her. Multiple times. His abilities were an added bonus to the funds going into her piggy bank under her mattress.

But now he was gone and her pleasure spent. And it was time to take some of that money in her piggy bank and head into town. She had a debt to pay. Even though she was a succubus, there was one debt hanging over her head that she would not pay for with sex.

The village of Sprecia welcomed Lennox with a wary eye. Elders poked their heads out of the cobblestone homes lining the main street and glared at him as he made his way toward the morning market. It was only his second day in the town, but Lennox was eager to get to work selling the intricate weaponry he made as a blacksmith. Anything to take his mind off of the anger.

There were many things Lennox could think to do with the burl of swords strapped to his back, and selling was at the bottom of the list.

“You’ll never sell anything with a mug like that, don’t you know.”

As he reached the line of stalls, he looked down at the old woman who’d been the only villager to address him since he moved to town. Her skin was pale, like other villagers who rarely got to see the sun in this part of the realm. His own skin was tanned from the abundance of sun in his home city. But there was no light for him there any longer.

  “I’m selling daggers, not cake.”

The woman ignored Lennox, and instead focused behind him. A voice boomed from the direction of her worried gaze.

“Get lost, wanderer. You’ve not paid dues for a stall.”

“And I’m supposed to pay them to you then?” Lennox turned to meet the voice head on.

The man stood taller than Lennox’s own six-feet, bulging with muscles and tattoos. Personally, Lennox had never needed either to feel like a man. Smithery kept him strong and lean, and anyone who doubted his prowess could look into his eyes. He
was not to be fucked with. And one villager would realize this as soon as Lennox was able to find her.

“Yes. I run that mead house over there. But you could also say that I run this town. Isn’t that right, Edetta?”

Lennox didn’t have to look down at the old woman to feel her discomforted nod. He turned the conversation back to himself. “I have no cash this day. Perhaps you’ll settle for a duel?” He ached for swordplay, but at the proposal, the vile, blood-boiling man before him burst into laughter.

“I am Bane, Master Wizard. I’ll forgive you this day because you are new. But I will not lower myself to fight someone so beneath me. Would not be fair.”

Lennox reached back into the bundle still strapped to his back. The old woman tugged on his tunic, beseeching otherwise. Instead, Lennox settled on a long moment to appraise his foe before watching him depart. As his gaze raked across the overly-muscled wizard, he realized that the man’s façade was probably not even real. Wizards had a tendency to overcompensate. But a cloaking spell that strong meant the wizard could also halt Lennox in his tracks. Swordplay with the lout wouldn’t be productive. He’d just have to bottle his fury for his true objective. After all, it was why he’d traveled so far to the clouded village.

“You can share my stall, warrior.” The old woman went back to work and cleared a spot for Lennox as Bane disappeared in the morning crowd.

  “I’ve never seen war.”

“No, but you’re a blacksmith who’s wise enough to pick his battles. A blacksmith always knows how to handle a blade, and a true soldier knows when to fight and when to be steady.”

“Thank you for sharing your stall with me. I will afford you half my profits today.”

She smiled, her skin crinkling beside her eyes. She looked like she’d been selling bread for a number of years. “In that case, put those bright blue eyes to work and you might sell some of those bejeweled ones to the ladies.”

Lennox removed one of the broadswords from his bundle. Carefully handling it, he laid the heavy masterpiece on the table. Immediately, browsers headed to the stall to gaze at the intricate blade.

“Fresh soda bread.” Edetta’s voice creaked over the commotion of onlookers.

Before Lennox could address his patrons, a disturbance shook the ground. The familiar voice of the arrogant wizard boomed, but his newest victim was shrouded by the thick crowd.

“Get your hands off me!” A feminine roar piqued Lennox’s curiosity.

“Back to your business. Now!” Bane shouted at the crowd and the people eagerly obeyed.

The object of the wizard’s attention finally became visible. She was stunning. A fragile, pale wrist was caught in the wizard’s grasp. Determined amber eyes were riveted on Bane and she quickly tore herself away from his clutches. Her gaze was the color of liquid fire and it burned as if she desired to set Bane aflame. Her long, ebony mane hung just above the curve of a sinful ass; the kind of curve that could bring a man to his knees.

“Scorned lover?” Lennox turned to Edetta, for she seemed to know most of the townsfolk.

“No. She may be a succubus, but Bane is the one man in this village that Zahra will always refuse.” Edetta cut some pieces of her soda bread to offer passersby.

“Succubus, you say?” He kept his voice low so that his sanity would not be tainted by the rage simmering under his skin. “Are there many of them in town?”

“Just two. Already have an itch that needs scratched?”

He noted Edetta’s amused gaze out of the corner of his eye, but kept his vision upon the breathtaking sex demon. If she was indeed the one he sought, than perhaps he’d be able to mix business with pleasure.

“You’re a good-looking man. You don’t need to pay for affection. There are plenty of village girls who will be in Bane’s mead house this evening.”

  “I’m married.”

“Oh, please forgive me. I thought I saw you come into town alone.”

“I did.” Lennox took up one of his swords and began sharpening the blade. Before Edetta could say more, he addressed the patrons at his stall. “With a man like Bane running around, you probably have need for a good weapon. Here. Try mine.”

  Chapter 2

The town of Sprecia bustled as the morning market came to life. Sellers of various goods, from artisan weaponry to potions and exotic fruit, lined the cobblestone streets of the medieval village in the realm of Aerion. The village was a mix of medieval and modern, from wood to stone and stucco, and even cement, buildings; but above all, Sprecia looked like a quiet medieval village. The small city seemed innocent enough during the daytime, but at night, Zahra knew there were plenty of opportunities to get in trouble. And nobody found trouble like her younger sister.

Zahra spotted the pink-haired firecracker slumped against the yellow stucco wall of a popular bar. The last time she’d found Sephina here, she’d been surrounded by men, hungry for what a young succubus could offer.

  “Come to pay your dues?”

Zahra turned toward the arrogant voice. The man standing just behind her was a muscular mess of tattooed inscriptions and piercings, a foreboding reminder of his affinity for pain. Especially inflicting it on others.

She scowled. “As a matter of fact, I have. Shall we go inside?”

“It’s a good thing you love sex as much as I love money.” Bane motioned for her to turn into his establishment, his voice dripping with sinister amusement.

Before allowing her to pass, the wizard nodded toward where her sister lay slumped on the ground. “This brings back memories, does it not?”

Angry heat flooded her body, and she nearly put Zeth’s orgasmic fuel to work on the arrogant wizard asshole. He was referring to Zahra’s darkest memory, the evening her sister was nearly gang-raped by Bane’s entourage.

“Are you referring to the night you sold drugs to a seventeen-year-old orphan?” Zahra pushed past him into his empty mead house.

“No, I was referring to the night when a succubus whore came to me for a fix.”

Don’t hit him, don’t hit him. But the orgasmic high lingering in her system from the knight’s sensual visit left her ready to wipe the disgusting smile from Bane’s face.

“Don’t even think about it, Zahra. I’ll have a binding spell upon you before you can blink those long lashes of yours.” The tall wizard flexed his biceps as he folded his arms across his chest.

Zeth’s cocky essence coursing through her had convinced her otherwise. In a flash of speed, Zahra drove her hand toward the wizard’s handsome face. Her fist connected with the magically perfected façade of flesh and the glamour flickered.

“I thought I’d let you get that out of your system. Now it’s my turn.”

Her aching fist stopped midway in the air, frozen in time. Her body too, stilled against her own will. Bane’s emerald gaze swirled with amusement and flecks of malice. Her curves reflected in his lustful gaze like an ominous mirror of what he had planned for her.

“Money with a side of succubus. The stars are smiling on me today.” His hand went to her breast and squeezed hard.

Discomfort and disgust caused bile to creep up her throat as Bane manhandled her, feeling his way around her body. The worst part was that she knew the smile on his face came not from fondling her breasts, but at the satisfaction that she hated it. His hand slid under her shirt and snaked up to her naked curves, her nipples hardening from his rough treatment.

“See, I know you love this. You may hate me, but you’re still a succubus whore.”

The spell still held Zahra’s mouth shut. She knew that it would fade soon; the new Laws of Wizarding ensured no magician got away with corruption. Bane, however, was corrupt as hell. Zahra’s mouth dried with fury as the wizard’s other free hand went to her ass. The fabric that stretched over her curves brought her plenty of customers to pay off Sephina’s debt, but did little to lessen the force of Bane’s fingers prodding her skin.

Her body tingled, not from pleasure, but from the sens
ation of the spell beginning to fade. His large hand squeezed violently once more before reaching into her back pocket and removing the wad of currency there. Just as he finished pulling out the money, the spell faded. Zahra used the closeness of his body to propel her knee into his groin.

“You bi—” His curse was cut short by loss of breath.

Bane fell to the ground and, as he did, various forms of demon and human cash fluttered to the floor. The choking sounds wheezing through his throat made Zahra smile. Pulling her shirt back down, she strode toward the exit. “Keep the change, witch.”

A pained gargle was his only reply, and it was just enough to make her day. After all, when your adopted sister was a drug addict and you owed an evil wizard a bunch of money, the small things were what got you through.

Stepping outside Bane’s mead house, Zahra returned to her sister’s slumped form. The humans and demons browsing the morning market paid her no heed, used to the sight of the drugged-out succubus.

“C’mon.” Zahra whispered, but knew she’d get no response as she hoisted the young woman into her arms. It’d been an easy decision inviting the troubled succubus to come live with her. Sephina was from one of the only other incubus families in the village, and since Zahra was several years older, she’d always felt protective. Although Zahra’s own family had always been one of intense love and compassion, she knew that dark things often happened within incubi households. And Sephina’s case was no different.

Sex demons needed release to survive, and when one couldn’t obtain it, madness often came from desperation. One day Zahra had found Sephina’s father forcing himself on her. The sight had made Zahra vomit, but not before she punched the sick bastard in the face and dragged Sephina from the home.

As Zahra made her way through the town, she received several glances. She ignored them while balancing the young succubus on her back and nearing their apartment.
