Rebel Bound Page 21

by Shauna E. Black

My publishing team this time around has been amazing and so patient with my fudged deadlines! Thanks go to Azalea Butler, my trusted first reader; Tristi Pinkston, my mentor and editor; Jaclyn Weist, my formatter; and Sarah Hansen, my fabulous cover designer.

In addition, my books wouldn’t exist without the encouragement of friends and family. The writing community is so generous, and I appreciate all the advice I’ve gotten from published friends who’ve gone before me. They even put up with my geeky side on occasion.

My husband is my rock. He stands beside me in everything I do and inspires me to reach for the stars! Even my kids think it’s kind-of cool to have an author for a mom. (Until I’m acting all embarrassing and geeky, at least.)

As always, the final thanks goes to my Heavenly Father for the inspiration, the guidance, and the opportunity to live my dream.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Shauna E. Black smiles a lot. But her appearance can be deceiving. Like the legendary sirens of old, she enjoys luring innocent readers into the stories she creates and trapping them there. Her home is sprinkled with spontaneous singing and the enticing smell of fresh baked bread, but her most cherished ploy lies in her passion for writing. Readers should beware of entering her intricate worlds, lest they lose all touch with reality and find themselves aiming arrows at mockingbirds or pointing tree branches at people and muttering nonsense words. If you decide to ignore this warning, you can find out more about her adventurous fiction on her website, ShaunaBlack.com.
