Last, but certainly not least, to the Lord. This road has been long, and winding, and broken, but you had your reasons. You gave me the strength to survive when I didn’t think I had anything left. You gave me light when my whole world was black. You showed me what it meant to love again, to be kind and compassionate, even though everything around me was anything but. I am so grateful for this second chance. I will never let you down and I will never waver in my beliefs, regardless of the hate and evil brought to my doorstep.
BT Urruela is a US Army combat wounded amputee, Purple Heart recipient, turned contemporary author who has written both independent and traditionally published books.
