She holds a B.S. degree in Journalism from East Tennessee State University and has been a professional writer for more than twenty-five years, writing for radio, television, newspaper, websites, and retail and industrial marketing. She is the recipient of ten Excellence in Advertising awards for creative writing and has had her work appear in numerous publications.
