by Tymber Dalton

Mel walked over to him but didn’t touch him. “Some people don’t react rationally when their pride takes a hit.”

“How did her pride take a hit? I didn’t insult her. I told her I heard her having sex in her office and she violated the terms of our arrangement.”

  “You told her no.”

He took a long, slow breath and let it out again. “I don’t understand why that’s a problem. It was obvious she could find someone else to have sex with.”

“That’s not the issue. The issue is she thought she had you wrapped around her finger. She didn’t respect you.”

“But we didn’t have a personal relationship. You have me wrapped around your whole body. I would do anything I could for you, and I trust you.”

“That has to be the most romantic thing anyone’s ever said to me,” she whispered. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.” He opened his arms to her and she stepped into his embrace, holding him tightly in the comforting way he adored her for. Closing his eyes, he rested his head against hers, liking the silky way her hair felt against his flesh. She wore her hair down today. Even in her Mattlin Meadows collared short-sleeved shirt and jeans, she was still beautiful to him.

Inside his soul, the colors started to settle and shift to the lovely rich, dark pink he felt when he thought about his love for her.

  She did this to him.

  She soothed him.

“I told my boss to go back without me because I’m riding with you,” she said. “Can you drive me back to work to get my car?”

“Do you need it tonight? Why don’t you come home with me? You were going to come over anyway.”

“I didn’t bring anything with me.”

“We could go by your place in the morning and then go to breakfast after.”

“Will you stay in bed with us tonight until I go to sleep?”

“You can sleep in bed with me tonight,” he said. “If that’s okay with Kirby. He can stay, too.” Davis had a king-sized bed. He preferred the extra room.

It seemed a wise choice in retrospect. Kirby had a queen-sized bed but Davis suspected his brother would soon be upsizing it for comfort.

She stared up into his face and he found his eyes focusing on hers. It was so much easier to do that now with her.

  “Thank you,” she softly said.

  “You’re welcome, but for what?”

A smile filled her face. “For being you.”

“Things are easier for you with Kirby.”

“That doesn’t mean it’s not just as good with you in different ways. You challenge me.”

  “Is that sarcasm?”

“No. You challenge me in the good ways.” She rose up on her toes and kissed him. “When did you want to leave?”

“I need about fifteen minutes to finish what I was working on.”

“Will it bother you if I sit here and wait?”

He loved her for that. “No, but I need to focus.”

He returned to his desk while she settled in one of the chairs and checked her e-mail on her phone.

  And she didn’t speak.

Forcing his mind into his work, he finished what he’d been working on and saved it. Then he shut down his computer and gathered his things. “Okay,” he said.

She looked up from her phone and smiled. “Ready?”

“Thank you for being quiet. I know some people might think that was rude of me.”

“Davis, I wouldn’t have hung around if I thought it was rude. I figured you’d need quiet. I was honestly expecting to have to sit in the lobby and wait or something.”

That confused him. “I wouldn’t make you do that. Why would you think that?”

“Never mind. It’s not important. Let’s go back to your place.”

On the walk down she texted Mattlin that she’d be getting her car in the morning and not to worry. Once they were in the car and Davis headed toward his house, he reached over, took her hand, and placed it on his thigh, curling his fingers around hers.

  It felt right.

  Sooo right.

  She felt right.

Better than anything in the world.

Kirby fought the urge to call Mel and was relieved when, as he was leaving his office, she finally called him.

  “Well?” he asked.

“We’re on our way to your house.”

  “We?”

“I’m riding back with Davis. Felicity’s gone. Darby fired her and we have it in writing that they’re giving Mattlin Meadows an extra wholesale discount.” She filled him in on the details.

  “Oh. Wow. That’s good, right?”

“It’s very good. I’m satisfied. If she tries anything, her daddy will have to pay for my legal battle against her.”

His phone beeped and when he glanced at it, he saw it was his mom. “Listen, Mom’s calling me. I’ll see you guys at the house.”

  “Okay. Love you.”

“Love you, too.” He ended their call and answered his mom’s. “Hey, what’s up?”

“Are you two still coming to dinner tomorrow? I had it on the calendar but usually by now Davis has confirmed the menu. Is everything okay?”

Crap. He’d totally forgotten that. Considering Davis had also let it slip his mind spoke to how much the whole Felicity mess had stressed him out. “Yeah.” He thought about Mel and decided to bite the bullet and hoped that Mel and Davis would forgive him later. “Um, mind if I bring a friend with us?”

“No, I don’t mind, but is Davis okay with it?”

  “Yeah, he is.”

  “Really?”

“Yeah. Listen, I’m driving. I’ll have Davis call you if he’s not okay with the menu.”

“Okay. Why does this feel super-secret?”

“Not super-secret, just lots of Friday afternoon traffic, Mom.”

  “All right. Love you.”

  “Love you, too.”

He ended the call and tossed the phone into his passenger seat.

  Davis loved Mel.

  He loved Mel.

Their parents would have to learn about her. He wouldn’t hide her.

It was easier to get this over with sooner. Why not do it in a week where there was already a lot of turmoil? Better to rip the bandage off fast, right?

  I hope.

They’d already agreed they were going to order pizza, so when Kirby got home he placed the order so it’d be there hopefully soon after Davis and Mel arrived. When they arrived, he immediately pulled Mel in for a long, strong hug. “You okay?”

  “Yeah. Just…wrung out.”

“I’m going to take a shower,” Davis said. “Would you like to join me?”

  “I don’t have any clothes.”

“You can wear one of my T-shirts.”

“Oooh,” Kirby said. “I like that idea. Almost as much as keeping you naked.” He decided to get it over with. “Oh, we’re having dinner with our parents tomorrow night.”

“That’s all right,” she said. “I could use a night—”

“I told her we were bringing a friend.”

She froze, staring at him. “Huh?”

Davis had started toward his bedroom already, but at that he reversed course and returned. “What?”

“You didn’t confirm the menu with Mom this week,” Kirby said. “She called me. I told her unless you had a problem with it to go with whatever had been agreed upon. And I told her we were bringing a friend.”

“Did you tell her who I was?”

“Nope. Didn’t even say if a guy or a girl. We’ll handle that when we get there.”

“Um…” She swallowed hard. “You sure you want to do that?”

  “It makes sense,” Davis said.

She stared at him. “It does?”

“Yes. I’ve told you my intentions. You have to meet our parents eventually.”

Kirby grinned and pointed at him. “What he said.”

  “After this week
I’m not sure how good of a guest I’ll be.”

“You could drive yourself,” Davis suggested. “We can not go out tomorrow morning. Then leave early and drop you off at work so you can get your car, go home, and shower and drive yourself. That way, if you’re overwhelmed, you can leave at any time.”

Kirby wanted to smack Davis, but he had to admit that was a reasonable plan.

Except he’d wanted Mel to ride with them so she could come home with them after.

They waited for her to answer. “Okay.”

“We can come back to your place later,” Kirby added. “Then if you get worn out, we can go home.”

“My bed’s not big enough for three of us to sleep in,” she pointed out.

“Then we can go back to your place and either you can stay there and we’ll go home, or you can ride back with us to our place.”

“You have an answer for everything, don’t you?”

“Yes,” Kirby said, smiling. “I do. You going to be our good girl and do it for us, or are we going to have to use intense powers of persuasion?”

She held up her hands. “I give.”

  * * * *

Mel wasn’t sure she was ready for this step yet even if the guys were confident about it. Yes, she’d technically been dating the guys for several weeks now, even if they hadn’t been sleeping together that entire time.

  This was the next step.

And she did want to spend the rest of her life with them, even if she hadn’t really finished processing that yet.

Wasn’t this her ultimate fantasy brought to life? Two great guys to love her, just like Kim had? Two great guys who were smart, good-looking, gainfully employed, honest, and had no problem taking charge in bed?

It was like she’d custom-ordered the brothers.

Davis took her hand and led her into his bedroom, leaving the door open. He sent her into the shower first. When he joined her, he had something in his hands.

  She gulped.

He held up the butt plug and bottle of lube. “How about you wear this during dinner for me tonight? Will that help take your mind off things?”

  She nodded. “Yes, Sir.”

He kissed her, nibbling on her lower lip. “If our good girl wears this all through dinner, then after dinner we’ll make you come as a reward.”

“You might better put down a towel for me to sit on during dinner.” Just the thought of the brothers going after her already had her wet. “And let’s close all the blinds tonight.”

“I will.” They showered. Then he made her spread her legs while he sat, licking her clit as he worked the butt plug inside her.

But he wouldn’t make her come. So not only did she now have a stuffed ass, she was horny.

He stood, kissing her. “I’ll get you a T-shirt of mine.”

She pulled him in, hard, kissing him. “You realize you get me programmed to love this stuff and it’d be cruel to let me go, right?”

He wrapped his arms around her again, holding her tightly. “Who said I’ll ever let you go?”

The pizza arrived while they were drying off. During dinner, she squirmed on the towel Davis had laid out for her on the chair, Kirby grinning once Davis told him what he’d done to her.

“Aw, our poor girl,” Kirby teased. “That butt plug getting you all hot and bothered?”

  “Yes, Sir.”

“Just wait. We’ll make it worth your while.”

They did better than that. After dinner, Kirby sat on the couch and impaled her pussy with his cock while she leaned back against him, facing out. He spread his legs wide, forcing hers apart while Davis prepared the new electric vibrator on her that he’d bought.

No dead batteries to worry about.

Between the feel of the butt plug stuffing her ass, and Kirby’s cock pressing against every good nerve inside her body, she was already coasting the edge of a hard orgasm. When Davis pressed the vibrator against her clit, she had started to think that maybe she was in the good kind of trouble—and that was the last conscious thought she had for a while.

She exploded almost immediately. Kirby played with her nipples, pinching them and rolling them between his fingers while Davis kissed her and forced her to keep coming for them.

“Do you like that?” Davis asked.

Unable to form thoughts, much less words, she nodded, even as she squirmed on Kirby’s cock.

“I’ve enjoyed reading those books,” Davis murmured in her ear. “They’ve given me a lot of ideas I’d like to try out. Would you enjoy that?”

  “Y-yes, Sir!”

He leaned in and kissed her, his tongue lightly tracing her lips, his gaze studying her as she helplessly writhed between them.

Kirby chuckled. “You are sooo fucked, baby,” he teased. “Just lie back and enjoy this, because I know we sure as hell are.”

Yes, she enjoyed sex with one or the other of them.

With both of them there, it seemed to add a multiplier to the equation and booted her into orbit harder and faster.

“Our sexy science experiment,” Davis said, and she was barely able to laugh before another round of moans escaped her again.

  Finally, she safeworded.

Kirby rolled her over and fucked her hard while bent over the couch. “Sorry, I won’t last long, baby. That felt too damn good.” He grabbed her hips, driving his cock hard and deep inside her and coming in just a few strokes.

When he moved, Davis immediately took his place. Folding his body over hers, he didn’t start thrusting right away, instead leaning in and trailing kisses up her spine and to the nape of her neck, where he lightly nipped her.

  “Ask me for it.”

  “Please fuck me, Sir!”

“Tell me exactly what you want.”

Despite all the orgasms they’d already forced from her body, she longed to feel him fucking her. “I want you to fuck my pussy, Sir.” The butt plug was a sexy preview of future activities, and if it felt that good, she could only imagine what adding a live cock to her ass while one of them was fucking her pussy would feel like.

Davis took his time, long, slow, deep strokes, making sure to reach around and play with her swollen clit as he fucked her. It didn’t take him long to pull one more from her like that. Only then did he pick up the pace of his fucking, and soon added his load of cum to her pussy. Minutes later, the three of them were cuddled on the floor.

“Guys, I think I need to collapse,” she said.

  “Yeah,” Kirby agreed.

They helped her into Davis’ bathroom and got her cleaned up before the three of them stretched out in Davis’ bed.

“You okay, bro?” Kirby asked from the far side.

“Yes, thank you. This is nice. It just takes me a while to get used to new things.”

“I know,” she said. “Thank you.”

He kissed the top of her head. “Thank you for being patient with me.”

She cupped her hand around his, holding it still, not stroking. “Thank you for trying so hard for me. That means a lot to me.” She had a thought. “How many books are in Lynn’s series, anyway?”

“Thirty-two, with five more scheduled for future release.”

“Oh, boy,” she said while Kirby giggled next to her.

  “What?” Davis asked.

“I guess I’m in for a treat, huh?”

“If by that you mean I have a lot of ideas, yes.”

Another laugh from Kirby. “That’s what she meant, bro.”

  Chapter Twenty-One

The men dropped her off at work a little after two Saturday afternoon and headed down to their parents’ house. They’d given her the address and she would go take a shower before joining them.

What would happen later that night was still up in the air. Much to Davis’ credit, he’d been the one who said that he would let her make the decision when she was ready to, based on how she felt, after meeting their parents. The men would come by her apartment after leaving their parents’ house, at least to
say good-night if she didn’t feel like doing more.

As she grabbed a shower at home, Mel wasn’t even sure how to introduce the men to her parents. Despite the men telling her they’d be happy to go along with an omission if she only wanted to tell them about one of the men, that didn’t set well with her.

If she was seriously contemplating being with both men for life, she couldn’t deny her relationship to either of them in front of her family. Work was different and related to being able to earn a living.

Her family was for life. She loved her parents and sisters and her brothers-in-law. She had nieces and nephews.

Hopefully none of them would disown her over this. If they did, she’d horribly misjudged them.

She, however, wouldn’t lie to them.

In a way, she was glad Davis had given her the easy out, driving herself to Port Charlotte so she could leave when she wanted to. If things went badly, it meant she could make her excuses and apologies and bolt like a scalded cat.

  Bok.

Yeah, it might make her a chicken, and she’d own that.

This was unchartered territory for her, scary. Terrifying, even. She loved Davis and Kirby and even if forced to could never choose between them.

Figures I can’t even fix my life right, I have to screw that up. Here she’d been happy to settle for one great guy and she ended up with two equally amazing ones.

Good problem to have, but it had brought about unforeseen problems she hadn’t contemplated before.

  I’ll need to ask Kim.

There was that. She had friends she could talk to for advice.

She stopped by Publix and picked up a pre-made fruit salad to bring, even though the men had said she didn’t need to bring anything. She knew Davis enjoyed them.

Kirby’s car was parked in the driveway behind two other cars, so at least she knew it was the right place. And no chance to back out, because she’d no sooner pulled in than Davis walked out to greet her.

He opened her door for her and when he saw she’d brought something, he took it from her. “Thank you, sweetheart.” He leaned in and kissed her. “They’re looking forward to meeting you.”

  “Do they know yet?”
