My beautiful wife the adorable Sarah Allen, and our boys Morgan and Rhett. I adore them all and always will.

Joel Naoum, Shelly Cameron, Ashley Thomson and Patrick Lenton at Momentum/Pan Macmillan Australia. Thanks again so much.

My agent Tara Wynne at Curtis Brown.

Special mention must also go to: Warrant Officer Class 1 Mick Spring CSC (Retd) from Veterans Off The Streets Australia (VOTSA), Jay Devereux from Veterans 360, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Nash CD1, Lieutenant Colonel Richard Scott, Commander David Bachi, Syd Griffith PSM, Warrant Officer Class 2 Hamish Robson, Kate Matheson aka Lois Lane, Margaret Anderson, and Colonel Tom Snukis.

In June 2015 I was honored to be appointed the inaugural ambassador for the charity Veterans Off The Streets Australia (VOTSA). VOTSA is a registered not-for-profit organization and charity that is completely reliant on contributions from the public, business and industry to facilitate their work. Staffed by an incredible team of dedicated and selfless volunteers – many of whom are veterans themselves – VOTSA was established to assist homeless veterans and ex-service personnel in finding crisis, temporary and permanent accommodation; to actively find and assist veteran and ex-service personnel families who are looking for accommodation related assistance; and, provide a concierge service for related areas to at risk personnel and their families. The aim of the charity is to provide awareness, support and access.

  ABOUT CHRIS ALLEN

After self-publishing in 2010, Allen caught the eye of Pan Macmillan’s experimental digital publishing arm, Momentum, and soon became one of their best-selling authors.

Allen has appeared at Sydney Writers’ Festival, Perth Writers’ Festival, Book Expo, SpyFest and numerous writers’ centres and groups around Australia.

Now represented by Curtis Brown, the same literary agency that represents the Ian Fleming estate, Allen has signed a deal for a full Intrepid series to appear on the big and small screens from 2016 and beyond.

Cumulative decades of experience in the defence, police, counter-terrorism and justice sectors means Allen features regularly in the mainstream media, talking about his writing inspiration and publishing journey, including on TV (FOX Business) and radio (ABC), and in newspapers (West Australian, Sydney Morning Herald) and magazines (Good Living Magazine, Mindfood).
