Every couple that I had known before were two Kanosians. Other than Koghu I was the only other one in a relationship with a human. Yet I never thought about it once and as time went on I saw her as even more than my mate which was already quite the relationship. She was my other half, my soul, the one that I would be spending the rest of my days with. Now with another child on the way and in our later years that beauty only grew and matured into something even more beautiful than when I first met her.
"What are you staring at?" she giggled as I sit there on the docks, watching her while she watched our son frolock in the waters.
"The most beautiful thing in the universe." I said proudly and captured her into my arms once more, my lips pressing against her's as she melded into my grasp.
