“Me, defiling your future body?” She asked raising an eyebrow of her own. A little energy seemed to rise in her. “You could only dream of this defiling you.” As she said this, she ran her hands down her shirt accentuating a pair of perky, obviously braless breast. Her hands continued down, running over and pulling tight the fabric of her skirt, showcasing her hips and powerful legs. She shifted back and worth, the movement and rhythm captivating to both eye and mind.
Her hands slipped down along her warrior’s thighs. I had always had a weakness for a pair of well-honed thighs. That moment hers, would’ve turned my knees to jelly if I hadn't been in a robot.
I vaguely heard something in the background. But was focused on her hands as they continued back up, this time going along her inner thighs.
Her hands slowly pulled the skirt up, revealing more and more of her creamy thighs. She stopped her hands cupping her nether regions as she stared at me with a smoldering look. That’s when I learned that I could still get really, really horny, even though I didn't have a body.
“Could you get that?” She asked.
“Hmm?”
“The phone?”
The noise I had heard in the background finally returned to my focus. I checked it from where I was standing. I could see her making the barest of movements with her hands as she watched me. Fuck. It was work. I had called the office during the night and told Erik that he could contact me through this number if I forgot to get in contact.
“Van?” Erik’s voice sounded in my head. I had learned that I could intercept the signal from the phone to the speaker and interpret it directly. It took a little more work, something that was a good distraction for me. Working out my superpower.
I was about to reply when Val turned around and headed back for the kitchen. I couldn't be certain, but she had to be pulling the skirt tighter around her hips because I didn’t remember it showing off her ass like that before.
“Fuck,” I mumbled.
“Van?” Erik called again.
“Uhh, shit,” I mumbled, stumbling over to the table and grabbing the phone. I still hadn’t figured out how to communicate through the microphone without speaking. Also, every subsequent thing I had to do with my power, was like stacking the proverbial weight, I had to lift. For now keeping the robot under control while under the vicious pings of the house AI and using the speaker to talk was enough for me.
“Yea. I’m here.” I finally replied to Erik.
“Okay, good,” Erik said. “I was worried about you, man. You didn’t show up for work today, and I remembered-” Valeria had reached the kitchen counter. I saw her turn the heat on the stove up again, she must have turned it down after I left the living room. She leaned on the counter, pushing her ass out on perfect display for me to look at. Then she started swaying back and forth. “You said you were going to the bank. Then that villain attacked the bank, and I heard someone died.”
It took me a few moments to reply, trying to focus while under the House AI attack to initiate the sex programs. When she had started swaying it was like someone had lit a fire under the AIs ass. It was hard to focus on what Erik was saying under such an onslaught, and I had to play it back multiple times before completely getting it.
“There are some extenuating circumstances about the whole bank incident. I’m… I’m not really okay to come into work for now.” I said. I had debated how much I should tell Erik, but for now, I had decided that I should keep it close. At least until I found out how possible a rearrangement of my current looks was. I wouldn't mind keeping the height, but it was disturbing to look in a mirror and not see my own face looking back at me.
“Hey man, it’s fine. Company policy says to restrict you from coming to work for at least a few days. I just wanted to make sure that you were alright.”
Sometimes I couldn't understand Erik. How could one person hold a night job, get out just early enough to take his kids to school, then return and take another shift at work? Then somehow, through all of that, still be a caring person. I had trouble holding it together for Emmet for 2 years, for him to turn 18. If I'm being honest, I probably didn't hold it together for him, even then. I brought back enough money to feed us and then once in a while I would help him clean the apartment.
I didn’t sigh. I didn’t need to breathe any longer. Sighing was no longer an unconscious action, but making the sound was an effort of will. “Thanks, Erik. I’ll call you in a few days and give you an update on how it’s going. Thanks for looking out for me.”
I could no longer sense the pings coming from the AI, so Val must have cooled down some. I lowered the phone to the table and gently dropped it. The kind of fine movement it required for me to simply put it down was too much for me to handle.
I retreated from the robot and into my core. I missed feeling warm. Hell, I missed feeling cold. The microphone picked up the sizzling of the meat cooking and I missed food even more. I shut off the microphone too. Then unfocused the webcam blurring the world around, and withdrew into myself. I missed being human.
Chapter Fourteen
Life for the last two days has been horrible. Arousing, but awful.
They started out decent enough. I came out of the core, slowly focused the webcam and turned the microphone on. What I found was Valeria sitting in a chair in front of the computer, looking at it pensively. She didn't have that teasing look in her face that she’d the last time he’d seen her. Then she noticed the webcam’s light and her face went carefully neutral, before turning into a smirk.
I thought that was the end of it. Val took the laptop to the sofa, allowing me to see the television with her. For once the clutter and debris on the couch helped her out. Instead of getting in the way, it allowed me to watch the television from a decent height. What I didn’t realize at the time was that it also allowed me to watch her.
Unfortunately, her laptop's webcam couldn't zoom, and it couldn’t focus on just the television. It was a real shit webcam. Almost like it hadn't been made for that type of work.
We watched television together while she ate, then she got up to take a shower. She disappeared into her room. I knew something was up when she came out in a bathrobe. The robot was pinged the moment she left the bedroom and headed for the bathroom, but I managed to intercept it within the robot and stop it from reacting. She came out of the shower after a little while, only causing the occasional ping from the house.
She went back to her bedroom. I knew she was up to something, but I couldn't tell what it was and she looked quite reasonable when she walked past me. There was some mumbling from the bedroom, but my microphone couldn't pick it up, and I didn't activate the robot’s in time. Then she stepped out wearing a summer dress. It wasn’t outrageous or anything, though it looked excellent on her.
It held relatively tightly to her upper body, emphasizing her breast while showing a little cleavage. They weren't huge, but they sat well on her well-toned body. The dress continued down, loosening around her legs and falling to just above mid-thigh, emphasizing her impressive thighs.
She carried with her a basket filled with laundry. She walked quite fast, and with the swishing of the dress, I didn’t catch anything spectacular about it. Though according to the pings from the AI there definitely were. She turned towards the robot, and I activated the microphone.
“Could you handle my laundry?” She asked. I switched most of my attention to the cleaning robot. She was holding a laundry basket filled to the brim with panties. “I really need the help, since I’m all out of underwear.” She dragged out the word all.
My attention immediately focused on the dress, which ended pretty high on her legs. “All out?”
“Yea, I had some real trouble finding something to wear.” If I could blow up a robot with sheer arousal, I’m pretty sure I would have.
“Wait, so you’re wearing some now?” I asked. I had to now. Besides what kind of woman, goes about flirting with a virtual (heh) stranger like this. Then I remembered her
jumping through the chair like it wasn't there. Someone with powers, that’s who.
She didn't answer my question. Instead, she smiled devilishly and spun around causing the skirt of her dress to flare out, revealing more creamy thigh. Then she skipped over and threw herself onto the couch. That morning I also learned that she prefers reruns of old TV shows from before my time. I had to say that some of them were pretty funny.
That was just what happened on the first day. In the morning. Between breakfast and lunch. That period set the tone for the next day and a half. Finally, we reached the holiest of days. It was finally time to go see Kani.
“Kani is doing this as a favor to me," Val explained. “She’s coming into the workshop to work on one of her infrequent off days. She’s a highly talented mechanic, and her work for the company is significant which makes her very busy. She’s doing you a huge favor just taking a look at you.”
I was pretty sure I remembered how excited she had sounded on the phone when Val had called her, but I didn't say anything.
“How do you know her?” I asked. “Seems like you guys work very different fields.”
“I used to work for the same company, but in their accounting branch. My assignment was related to Kani's branch of work, and we talked a few times during my work.” She blushed, but the AI didn't send a ping to the robot. “We got to talking during a company event and became friends through that.”
I hadn’t seen her talk to anyone else since I had arrived. I was thankful that she would take someone in, based on a whim and the idea that I was a decent person. She had only called Kani that one time too.
“How often do you guys hang out?” I asked.
She frowned for a moment. “Why is that important?”
“I guess it isn't. I just haven't seen you talk to anyone but Kani and me. And you only talked to her once.”
“I don't talk with her a lot… She doesn’t know about my powers, only you do. So you can't tell her.”
“Okay,” I said. It sounded like Val led a very lonely life. Though I thought there might be something about her powers, maybe something could accidentally happen whenever she used them.
“Let’s go see your friend about getting me a new body.”
Val smiled and nodded. “Let’s.” Her smile didn’t even seem forced, and she really did have a beautiful smile.
Chapter Fifteen
The ride over to Kani was uneventful. It was weird traveling in a car, inside a laptop. The laptop didn't have motion sensors or anything else that detected movement, so it just kinda happened. I wouldn't even notice it if I couldn’t see out the windows, and see the buildings move.
It did help that I could listen in on the automatic car's maneuvers and programming, though I didn’t dare interfere with any of it.
Valeria lifted me out onto the sidewalk of a large building that reached all the way to the top of the artificial sky. Some buildings were like that in the Towers. They reached all the way through one floor and into the next one. It was an impressive sight, and Val temporarily stopped her teasing to allow me a view.
I didn't usually come around this neighborhood of Ëndib. It was closer to the elevator, and therefore a way down. That also made it more expensive.
Val took me, and in turn, I took the robot, to a side passage. It was cordoned by a low concrete wall, so people couldn’t quickly look in. Val walked over to a door, that looked like someone had rubbed grease on to it.
The robot’s microphone picked up an indistinguishable high pitched squeal. A few quick breaths and the someone flung the door open. The door revealed a woman, she had a thinner face, with a cute button nose. Her blond hair was pulled up into a ponytail, and she was wearing a pair of overalls. Both she and the overalls were smeared in grease.
She flung the door open, then proceeded to lean on it, explaining the grease marks on it.
“Hey, babe.” She said. Her tone of calm was so fake and layered that even I could quickly tell that it was put on and not remotely how she actually felt.
I had been experiencing issues with distinguishing the tone of voice in both the robot and laptop microphone. I suspected it was due to a regulator, installed in them. It was what stopped any high pitched noises from turning into an inhuman scream. She seemed to have a slightly higher pitched voice though if I had to guess.
Then she looked over at the robot. She immediately turned her full attention towards it. “Is this it? Is this it? Will I get to talk to her, him, it? Can I see?” She blurted some more, but she was talking so fast I couldn't discern what she was saying.
That calm attitude went right out the window, didn’t it? I thought, with a chuckle. Except of course that I didn't chuckle, it wasn't an involuntary response anymore. I shook my virtual self before I started getting any madder than I already was.
Kani, I assumed, had gone over to the robot and was examining it closely. “Eyes over here.” I joked though I didn't think I got the tone quite right. It was difficult to tell with these shitty microphones.
Kani turned to the laptop, which speakers I had used to talk. She bends over, giving me a nice looked down her overalls and shirt. She was wearing a sports bra underneath. Probably for the best. At this point, I was so horny, if I gained the ability to orgasm I would blow the next time someone touched me.
“Hello.” She said, staring wide-eyed at the laptop like she hadn't seen a computer before.
“Hi. I’m Vanys.” I raised the robot's hand. She noticed. She took it and shook vigorously.
“I’m Kani. You also have a MagAI name?” She asked.
“Madam had a thing for MagAI," I said.
“Cool!” She said wide-eyed, her head flicking from the robot to me and back again.
“Let’s get that robot upgraded, so you don’t have to break your neck trying to talk with me," I suggested.
She blushed, then she smiled. Are all women just pretty, or have I been tormented for the last few days? Yes and yes. She turned around and almost ran into the workshop. It was every bit as high tech as I had expected it to be.
She had tools I didn't know what did hanging on walls. Taking up by far the most substantial amount of space in the room, was something that looked like a car, but it didn't have any wheels. I was going to ask, but then I didn't want her to get sidetracked when we were this close.
She ran over to something that looked like it was straight out of a bondage magazine. It a circular contraption, with three concentric rings. From the rings sprouted a whole assortment of chains, tethers, and wires.
“Please move the bot into that.” She said. She went over to the table and picked up a tablet.
Valeria carried the laptop, and I walked the robot into the contraption. Kani pulled off its shirt, and started to strap the robot into it, Valeria put me down on the table next to the tablet and helped her. It took a few minuted before it was fully strapped in. Then Kani stepped over to the tablet again. It was running some sort of remote app and a schematic for the robot. She pressed a few buttons.
The rings swirled and moved, levering the robot into a lying face down position suspended in mid-air. The tethers and chains, held onto the robot firm and tight, making sure there was very little wiggle room.
Kani surveyed the schematics for a few minutes, before grabbing a few tools and a black box that I immediately recognized as a hard drive through my power. Then she got to work. It took about 5 minutes before she had the robot sufficiently disassembled. Then she merely plugged the hard drive in and slipped it into a slot inside the chest of the android. Then she got to more complicated stuff that I couldn't really follow.
Though she didn’t explain it to me. For me to have a proper life in a robot suit, like a MagAI, I would need something the first MagAI created. I was the robot equivalent of a nervous system. It would function as a brain and interpreter for a whole bunch of different processes that should essentially make me feel human again. I couldn't wait.
Unfortunately, it required quite a bit
of upgrading. The new power source was the biggest one. The alternative was to go out and buy something ready for the upgrade, but it would be significantly more expensive, and a simple petition to the MagAI Cavalry could get you a Nerve Module.
Val didn't stick around for too long. She promised that she would come back with lunch and left. Apparently, the lack of teasing had started to bother her.
“So how long have you been messing with machines and robots?” I asked.
“All my life. I love it! Nothing better!” She exclaimed excitedly. She was just finishing putting the Power Core in.
“I noticed you called Val, babe.”
She blushed, but only slightly. “Yea, she’s super hot right.”
