That was highly disturbing. He was prone to sudden seizures because his own body couldn't control the magic within himself, then that put many of his plans in danger.

“Why’d it only happen now?” He asked.

You have been using your power less in the last week, than you have in the previous span. It has always happened, this is just the first time it has had this much power to work with. Magra explained.

Leric shook his head, trying to clear his mind as he got to his feet. He would just have to be careful then. Regularly use his power, even if it wasn't entirely necessary. “Are their other ways to stop it.”

None that you have the current training or ability for.

“Thank you for your great help milady.” Leric said, bowing even though she was lodged in his arm. It could never hurt to be too courteous.

  Chapter One Hundred Seven

The door opened, and Val looked over from where she was cooking her and Kani’s meal. “Welcome back! Just in time too!”

Vanys stepped through the door, in his hero costume, though he wasn't wearing his mask. His get-up was also getting less and less auspicious by the day, she had noticed more and more people starting to wear the same clothes as him.

"If you hurry up, we might even let you watch while we eat," Val called out over her shoulder. "So hurry up and get cleaned up." She flipped the steaks on the pan, before spinning around and throwing the spatula at him. He managed to catch it before it hit him in the face, but he did fumble it and get grease all over his hands, causing her to let out a little victorious giggle.

“Aye, aye ma’am.” He called out, spatula in hand as he turned to go upstairs. He paused at the stairs, turning towards her. “Should I use this?”

“That depends,” Val said, “How does the lady like her steaks?”

"I like them not burned to a crisp," Kani replied. She was once more sitting at her worktable, fiddling with something, though this time it was clear that she was trying hard not to get grease and oil on her self. This was primarily visible by the lack of overalls. Instead, she was wearing a floral pattern blue top and a black skirt.

“Then it would appear,” Vanys said, lifting his hand for an overhead throw. “You’ll need this back.”

Before he could throw, both ladies looked appalled at him. “What?” he asked. Causing Kani to let out a titter of laughter. “What is it?” He asked again.

“You weren't seriously going to throw it? Were you?” Val asked, stepping over to him.

“I don’t see why not.” He replied.

“Gods that is terrifying.” Kani murmured, turning back to her fiddling.

Val placed a hand on either side of his face and looked him in the eye. “You once spent 15 minutes throwing balled pieces of paper into a trash can.” He blushed slightly at her mention of his bored activity. “Do you remember how often you missed?” She kissed him lightly on the lips and gave him a smile to take the edge off. “You would only land the throw every 1/3 throw, in a body that you can have perfect control of. You barely managed to have a 33% rate of success. I'm not going to let you throw my spatula. Now hurry up.”

She spun away from him, slapping his ass and grabbing the spatula out of his hands as she walked away. She knew that he would be looking, probably Kani too, so she put a little extra sway into her hips.

  "Damn," Kani muttered.

"Mmmhm," Vanys replied before he gingerly walked up the stairs.

Val returned just in time to flip the steaks off the pan and let them cool off. They weren't real meat since it had become tough to keep livestock after the Wild Surge. But at this point they had been making fake meat so long, it was almost as good.

Though people like Kani and Vanys, it was probably better. Heathens that have never tried real meat like they are.

She started making the salad while whistling a Marya and her sheep.

Kani was sitting on her right, Vanys on her left. All of them slumped down in the couch under one large blanket, while watching one of her old favorite movies.

Kani lowered her head onto Val's shoulder and let out a contented sigh. Val had thought that might happen, the girl had eaten enough for two and was obviously in the beginnings of a food coma.

Val who had literally centuries of experience eating food managed herself better, and she wasn't falling asleep just yet. She could wait until the best part of the movie was over. While she did, she could snuggle up close to her two favorite people. One hand comfortably resting around Kani’s waist, while her other was holding Vanys’ hand.

Val let out a content sigh of her own and slumped a little more in the direction of Vanys. They had opted for no popcorn, due to the large dinner, so there was naught to do but snuggle closer and closer. She breathed in deeply, enjoying the mixed scents of Vanys and Kani.

Soon enough, she was sitting between Vanys’ legs, leaning against his chest, listening only partly to the movie, the other part of her absorbing the sounds of his body, ticking, clicking, and the soft humming vibration that was slowly, but surely easing her to sleep.

This was something she’d never had when it was just an AI in a robot, this was something wholly different. He had his arm wrapped around her belly, Kani’s weight resting on her own chest in a copy of hers and Vanys’ position.

Val smiled down at the happily dozing little woman, spotting a spot of drool that was about to go spilling onto her top. With a deft swipe of the blanket, she intercepted and dried off her lips. She noted to herself to keep an eye on it, before turning her attention towards the movie again.

"Thanks," the soft mumble almost incomprehensible through her sleep-addled mind, still managed to convey Kani's contentment and joy at her situation.

Things had been going rough for Vanys and Kani for a while, but she was finally warming up to him again. Though Val knew that the issue with Vanys’ wasn't that he wasn't didn't like Kani enough, quite the opposite really.

It could be on some level, quite terrifying to find yourself in the eye of someone as dangerous as a hero, especially when you have real proof that he's more dangerous than ten men. Though they had just had their first team try out on a hero patrol, and it seemed to have mended some fences.

She felt his arms squeeze her a little tighter for a moment and he landed a light peck on her scalp. She turned to smile up at him.

What she saw wasn't the close to perfect and equally inhuman face of her old robot, but the real face of Vanys. Almost exactly down the smallest detail of scale, the same look. That was a face she could love, and a face she already had fallen in love with.

"You're an amazing woman." He whispered, smiling warmly at her. "Thank you for this. If it weren't for you, I would still be stuck on a computer somewhere."

She felt herself tear up a little bit, and for once she didn't try to stop. Instead, she just stretched up and planted a light kiss on Vanys' lips. "You're welcome." She replied. She felt him hug her tight once more, though not enough for it to hurt.

  Chapter One Hundred Nine

I entered our headquarters, only to immediately freeze as my eyes registered what was going on before me.

When I had left work, what I had prepared myself for was another day of semi-mindless hero patrols and honest conversation with bystanders. That was not what greeted me.

The first thing I noticed was the color that didn’t belong. The pure white of Kani’s lingerie. Lingerie. She was all done up, white stockings covered her bare feet and legs, supported by a garter belt that snugly hugged her hips.

The garter belt was layered over her silky lace panties, also white. Then my eyes traveled up the creamy expanse of her stomach to rest on her breast.

They too had been covered in white lace undergarments, or at least they tried to. I didn't know the technical name for it, and I really didn't care. The bra only partly covered her breast, only obscuring the nipples and giving them little in the way of support, not that hers needed it.

Oh yeah, and she was tied up. Someone had tied her to the table and gagged her. I’ll give you three chances to guess who.

I could hear the faint sounds of protest from Kani’s muffled mouth, suddenly interrupted by the sound of heels on hardwood.

Val emerged from upstairs. The first thing I saw was her stiletto heels, they had to be 6 or 7 inches and made her taller than me. As she proceeded further, I realized that it wasn't just a pair of shoes, but a couple of knee-high boots she was wearing.

She, herself, was wearing something like a leotard, except made for sex. I was pretty sure I spotted a parting at the groin. The leotard reached up and offered some measure of support to Val’s smaller breasts.

It had a boob window. It was placed neatly between the two, allowing Val to display a tasteful amount of slutty cleavage. I liked it. I liked it a lot.

She was also wearing gloves, at the fingertips, the colors were a deep purple, that slowly deepened as it progressed up her forearm until it was a solid black at the elbows.

Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, that dangled to a point around her shoulder blades. Between her knee-high heeled boots—also in a purple to black gradient—and the rest of her costume was a pair of fishnet tights, that tightly gripped her thighs as she walked.

There was something familiar about her costume. I felt like I had seen it before, but then again no villain had ever gone out looking like that so probably not. I had also spent an inordinate amount of time, looking for various sexy villain costume, for just such an occasion. It looked like Val was ahead of me.

She walked around Kani, letting a gloved hand trail over her body. “No one can save you now. I have you.”

Somehow Kani managed to spit out her gag, almost as if it had been placed for that purpose, though I wouldn't know, I was just an innocent voyeur. “You’re wrong! Steel Rod wi
ll save me!”

Steel Rod? I looked down at myself. I was pitching tent pretty hard. Am I Steel Rod?

“Bah!” Val replied, waving a dismissive hand. “Even his magnificent iron can’t save you now. It’s throbbing power couldn’t even come close to stopping me. I have become too powerful for its warm radiating heat.” She closed her eyes, and took a deep breath, accentuating her cleavage. “Veiny visage could… could do nothing,” she basically moaned that last word, “Nothing to end your tor- your torment.” She swallowed visibly.

  Fuck it! I’m Steel Rod.

2 seconds later I was down a shirt, a pair of pants and underwear. After I ripped myself free form my clothes, I strode further into the room. "Stop villain!" I cried out in my best old times, hero's voice.
