When she arrived, the king was already there, holding court, tedious as always. As Klea retreated to her rooms, another messenger caught up with her.

Prelude: Olympian Pleasure
Alcmene hasn't seen her betrothed, the prince of Thebes, in years, and then he comes home from battle unexpectedly, sword still in hand. She knows that good girls don't put out until they're married, but isn't engaged close enough? As long as it's really him, of course...
Part One: Bruises in the Morning
Heraklea's first task is to go kill a lion in a little town across Greece, which should be no problem. No problem, that is, until she's alone in the dark with something that's not exactly an animal, not exactly a person, but is definitely pinning her to the ground.
Part Two: Legend of the Hydra
The king asks Heraklea to go slay the Hydra, a nine-headed monster with a legend no one will tell her, which has been terrorizing a village two days away. She thinks she's got it taken care of, but then she finds out her sword isn't going to get the job done--instead, she needs to tackle the nine-headed problem creatively.
Thankfully, she's got the help of Lola, a young woman from the village, and the two of them have an afternoon neither will ever forget.
Part Three: Bound and Blind
Heraklea's looking for a sacred deer, on a mission she's beginning to regret taking, when she's caught in a trap meant for something else. Next thing she knows, she's hanging by one ankle and yelling for help.
Is the man who comes to her rescue going to let her go, or keep her for his own twisted use?
Part Four: The Centaurs and the False Maiden
In order to do her next task, all Heraklea needs are some simple directions from three centaurs--legendarily lusty monsters with the body of a hors and the torso of a man. While they're charming and seductive for monsters, can Heraklea survive taking three of them on in a single afternoon?
Part Five: In Among the Gods
This time, the king wants Heraklea to go clean out some stables, the unsexiest thing she can imagine. Just when she's convinced that she really will have to start shoveling, two men show up. Not just any men: river deities who are so hot it almost hurts to look at them. Instead of cleaning, Heraklea winds up sandwiched between them, acting out a fantasy she's had for a long, long time.
Part Six: Two Hundred Eyes
Heraklea isn't thrilled when the king sends her to a faraway village to take care of some birds, but that's before she's ambushed in the middle of the night, tied up, and taken away. Everyone but her is in a mask: the audience, the four men on stage with her, and they tell the gathered crowd that she's the night's entertainment, but can she put on a good enough show?
Part Seven: The Queen in the Labyrinth
Lost in a dark maze, Heraklea finds a strange sight at the center: three men kneeling, and a woman wielding a whip in front of them. Now Heraklea's in for an adventure of domination, submission, humiliation, and being bent over a chair for all four of them.
Part Eight: Insatiable
Heraklea's always hoping that her errands from the king turn out to be sexy, and this time is no exception--but things take a turn when she's forcibly separated from her guards, locked on a balcony, and made to watch them have sex with three bimbos who just won't stop.
Just when she thinks it's over, she's faced with the castle's lord--a huge man who's half god, half giant, and who thinks she's in need of some punishment.
Part Nine: Pleasing Her Majesty
Heraklea is sent to trade a statuette for a belt, and not just any belt--this belt belongs to the Queen of the Amazons. When she gets there, she finds that asking nicely isn't going to work--she has to be a little more persuasive, with both the queen and her lover.
Part Ten: the Monstrous Coupling
Heraklea gets into a fight with the king, and he sends her off to retrieve some cattle from a monster. She hopes it'll be as simple as swinging her sword and getting the job done, but that's before something grabs her in its talons and whisks her off to the top of a high cliff.
Stranded, what can she do but give in to its monstrous demands - and does she even want anything else?
