The commitment ceremony brought just as many tears to everyone’s eyes as the actual wedding vows themselves did. When they both made promises of love and devotion to me, I wanted to drag them off to the bedroom without finishing the entire ceremony itself. I was brought to my knees by the vows spoken, and I love my brother and woman even more than I did before this day. I made promises of forever to both of them and swore to always have their backs throughout our lives. When we were announced as men and wife, I didn’t think we’d ever get away from the brothers, their women or Rainey’s family.

When we finally managed to escape everyone, we headed to the bedroom here at the clubhouse, shed our clothes, and made sweet, passionate love to our woman.

  Chapter 15

  Rainey

Just because you say I do, doesn’t mean you stop

putting the work in on your relationship…

I was surprised with a honeymoon getaway to Hawaii, somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, but have never had the time. Carson and Levi have been so attentive and do things for me before I even say I need it done. The way they read me, without have the mojo and ability of reading minds is astonishing. I’ve also been developing the ability to tell what’s on their minds before they express them as well. It’s as if a floodgate opened up the minute we exchanged our ‘I do’s’ with each other. I’m happy that the connection I have didn’t change with Carson when it turned out he wasn’t the one I legally bound myself to. In my mind, we’re all married whether the law looks at it that way or not.

We’ve been here two days and most of the time has been spent in our suite. Today, I’m putting my foot down and demanding we do the tourist thing and spend some quality time on the beach. I love relaxing in the sun with a good book and catching some waves when the heat of the day becomes too much to bear. My pasty white skin can only handle so much before the burn begins to set in and my skin requires some much-needed relief. The guys are still in bed asleep, so I grab my bikini and put it on. I throw on some shorts and a cover up top so that while I’m exploring the towns I’m not exposed and causing them to growl at everyone who looks at me twice.

When I finish dressing I notice Levi’s eyes are open and tracing my every movement. “Good morning, sleepy head, I was hoping my men would treat me to a day on the town and hopefully we can get some beach time in while we’re at it,” I say, with my hopeful intent present in my voice. I wouldn’t call it whiny, but you can tell the difference in the things I say when I’m hoping to get my way.

“Anythin’ you want to do, we’re yours to lead,” he says, winking at me.

“Yay! That’s just what every woman wants to hear. Too bad we don’t have leashes, so I can lead you two around and not even have to talk to you about where I want to go. You’d have no choice but to follow.” He laughs at me, and I end up giggling at the joy present in his facial features. I love it when I make my men laugh, it fills my heart with pleasure. “Who’s going to wake up sandman there?” I ask, pointing at Carson.

“If you wake him up, we won’t be leaving this room. You know how it is with him, he’s worse than I am when it comes to not bein’ able to keep my hands to myself. You’re a temptation that neither one of us are able to resist.” These guys say the sweetest things to me, but I’d never refer to them as sweet because they actually growl at me when I use that particular word. Why that is I have no clue, it’s just a word. An expression of sorts on the way what they say makes me feel…but that’s just my personal opinion and one they don’t share. While Levi wakes Carson and they begin to get ready for the day, I check my social media accounts and see I have a personal message from Trevor, the boy I’ve been trying to help on the bullying site.

I know that you are on your honeymoon which is why I haven’t called you to check in. Congratulations on your wedding by the way. Things are getting worse here at the home I’m in, and I wanted someone to know, because I’m actually beginning to fear for my safety. When you get back, maybe you could give me a call…I could really use someone to talk to about it. Your friend always, Trevor…

Oh no, the other kids in his home have been giving him a hard time, his foster parents don’t seem to be any better when it comes to his treatment and stopping the others. It also seems to me as if they’ve jumped on the bandwagon of hurting him, not physically, but with their words. Needing to let him know someone cares, I send him back a reply.

Have you tried talking to your caseworker? This seems to be getting out of hand, Trevor, and I’m becoming worried about not only your physical well-being, but your mental one as well. Thank you for the congratulatory message, it means a lot to me. We’ll be back home on Sunday, please call me that evening so we can talk. I’m always going to be here for you no matter what comes our way. Forever your friend, Rainey…

Carson comes up to where I’m sitting, leans down and kisses me under my ear, causing bumps to rear their ugly head all over my skin. “That tickles,” I say to him.

“What has that sour look on your face, Rainey?” I show him the message instead of reading it to him. He frowns and picks up his phone. I know the brothers have been attempting to help me keep an eye on him so I’m assuming he’s communicating with one of them. Levi joins us, and Carson nods his head my way. Instead of voicing what’s going on, I open up my messenger and let him read it as well. He raises his eyebrow at Carson in question, Carson holds up the phone and shows him that he’s already on it. I know there’s nothing I can do for Trevor while we’re so far away but knowing that someone will be checking in with him takes a weight off from my shoulders.

We spend the day sightseeing, and shopping, much to the displeasure of my men. Their hate for shopping trumps mine, in every way, but they’re not giving me a hard time about stopping in every shop we come across that grabs my attention. I need to take some souvenirs back to our family and friends, it needs to be a gift that’s thought out and not something as inconsequential as a key chain, which you can pick up from the airport and not need to put in any thoughts or efforts. If I left it up to them, that’s exactly the kind of gifts we’d be handing out. We come into a tourist shop that has t-shirts and baby onesies. I pick out several for my niece and nephew, find a shirt I want for Trevor and the guys and leave the shop satisfied with my purchases.

After another hour of shopping, Levi whines to me, “Are we done yet? I’m sick of shopping, we have at least ten bags full of shit.”

“I’m getting’ hungry,” Carson adds, “if we didn’t get everyone something like you want, we can come back again on Friday.”

“I actually have everything I wanted to get, let’s go feed our bellies, drop these off in the room and head to the beach,” I say excitedly.

  “Thank God,” Levi mutters.

“Sounds like a plan,” Carson states. And just like that, my men are happy campers again. Gotta love how easy it is to make men happy sometimes. A promise of food, fun and sun and their grumpiness dissipates.

We head to the hotel and put our purchases away, then grab a bite at the resort’s restaurant before heading to the beach. We find a place to lay our rented beach towels down and I start stripping off my shorts and coverup.

“That’s not a bathing suit, that’s some strings with triangles, Rai. What the fuck?” Levi huffs and puffs out.

“It is so a bathing suit, stop huffing and puffing before you lose steam and let’s enjoy ourselves.”

“Every man here is going to be staring at your tits and ass,” Carson states.

  “And?” I ask him.

“And?” Levi whisper yells, that’s an improvement. “I’m gonna go to jail,” he mutters. I see his fists clench at his sides and sigh in exasperation.

“Let them look, who cares, it’s the two of you I’ll be leaving here with, it’s the two of you who’ll have my forever and my loyalty. If they look, they look, but that’s all they’ll get. It’s no worse than visiting an art museum and viewing a work of art. You look, you enjoy, and then you move on.
You two need to relax and have fun.”

“I don’t like it, your body is for our viewin’ pleasure, not all these men out here with their dick’s swingin’ around,” Levi states. And I look around to see what he’s referring to. I crack up when I see that not many are wearing swimming trunks the way they are, most are in banana hammocks, and where men think that’s sexy, I assure you, I don’t see them that way. Instead I begin making fun of their choice of swimwear and the guys join in and begin to relax. We swim, play in the ocean where they tease me the entire day with their sexy chests, that have sweat dripping down every crevice of their defined muscles. Then we lay out and catch the end of the days last rays of sun, and head back to the room where I go straight for my purse and dig out my chapstick due to my lips being dry from licking them throughout the day whenever naughty thoughts entered my head. My men have some rocking bodies, too bad I couldn’t have had my way and ravished them on the beach, I guess the bed it is.

  Carson

I fall on the bed completely sated and satisfied after two hours of fucking. We explored each other’s bodies until my dick is so sore, and tired, that it feels like it’s about ready to fall off. This honeymoon stuff is the shit! I wish we could get away like this more often, but with our busy lives and schedules, it will be next to impossible to accomplish. We’ll have to make yearly trips on our anniversary, it’s the only way I can see getting away and having some fun with our little family.

“I hope we made a baby tonight,” Rainey mumbles as she passes out. She’s had a busy day, I can’t help but smile at how exhausted she is, feeling like I’ve played a part in that with our evening’s activities.

“Me too, baby,” I say as her cute snoring picks up, letting me know I was talking to the walls. Levi passed out the second his breathing evened out from taking our girl. We fucked hard, to the point that I’m surprised my eyes have remained open.

Rainey stopped using her birth control a few days before we married, and I’ve been ungloved the entire time, nothing’s changed there, except for the fact that Levi has been. I need to figure a way to make that up to him, his sacrifice for me, for us, is unwavering and I couldn’t admire him more for it. Some would probably tell us it’s too soon to start trying for a baby, but we’ve been together for a few years. Even though we’ve only recently become married, that piece of paper doesn’t decide the timeframe for any of us. We know there’s no one else for us than each other, so why put off the inevitable? I can’t wait to see Rainey round with our children, Levi and I are excited about becoming fathers. Rainey’s going to be a fantastic mom, I fall asleep to these thoughts.

  Levi

The phrase ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ is factual. Before I even had a chance to blink, we’re back home and dealing with our grown-up responsibilities. Trevor has become a constant at our home in the evenings, the bond between him and Rainey has deepened and I’m checking into what it would take to have him come and live with us permanently. I know he’s a teenager, but he’s respectful, and has become a member of our family. I feed him, give him money, and help teach him things that all teenage boys need to know. What difference would it really make if we add sheltering him to that list? I’m already a big brother, but with him, it feels more intense than it ever did with Carson. Maybe that’s because we got into trouble together, and I’m trying to teach Trevor how to stay out of it…big difference indeed.

“Levi!” Rai hollers out at me as I step out of the shower.

“Come in here and talk to me, Rai. I can’t hear you well through walls, baby.” She always does this, shouts at us behind doors to where we have to shout back and there’s been a time or two that I’ve missed something she’s said to me. And Lord forbid if it’s something vital, it’s never her fault for making sure we actually hear everything shouted, no, if we miss something it’s all our fault for not ‘listening’ to her.

“Sorry,” she says, as she comes into the bathroom, jumping into her jeans.

“Why do you wear those if it takes so much effort to get them on?” I’ve always been curious as to why she wears those skin-tight jeans that she jumps around like a jumping bean to get into, then has to lay on the bed to button and zip. They look good on her, don’t get me wrong, but they have to be uncomfortable as shit.

“Because they look good, plus, they aren’t really tight, I just have to get them over my hips.”

“Not tight huh? I beg to differ, they mold to you like a second skin.”

“I know, but they’re my favorite and they’re worn in. I hate breaking in new jeans. They don’t ever bother me — does it bother you that they’re so tight? Do they look bad on me, make me look fat?” Fuck me! Why do women always ask shit like that and put their man on the spot? It’s ludicrous, I could care less what she wears, as long as she’s not showing too much skin…there are some things that need to be left to other’s imaginations and not viewing pleasures.

“Nothin’ could make you look fat, and no, they don’t bother me for you to wear. I was just curious because there’s no way I’d personally be comfortable if I had to squeeze myself into a pair of my jeans.” By the shy smile she displays on her face, I’m assuming I answered well. Phew, that’s a crisis averted, I could’ve landed myself on the couch if I’d given the wrong one.

“What was it you needed?” I ask her, as I dry myself off. Her eyes track the towel and I have to hide the satisfied smirk that’s trying to make itself known.

“Huh? Oh, Trevor just messaged me. He’s really sick and the Newberrys are making him go to school anyways. I was wondering if you get off early if you could pick him up and take him to the clinic so he can see Dillon?”

“How sick?” I ask, feeling sorry for Trevor and the family he finds himself tied to. I have a mind to go pay the foster father a visit, only it won’t be a social visit, nope it will be me teaching him a lesson or two.

“He says he’s running a fever, has chills and was up all night vomiting. He has a sore throat but doesn’t know if it’s from being sick all night, or if there’s actually something off with it. I’m worried he may have strep throat or bronchitis, if he has either of those, he can’t go untreated for a long period of time, and it doesn’t sound as if they’re going to take him themselves.” I can hear the worry in her voice which pisses me off.

“Text him back, tell him not to go to school. Tell him I’ll pick him up at that coffee shop on the corner before you get to the school.” I’m fuming mad, I can’t believe how neglectful they’re being of his health. Looks like I need the club’s lawyer to stop dragging his feet and get something done so he can be here where we can look out for him.

“Thanks, Levi,” she says, and I see her shoulders relax. She was more worried than I realized.

“I’ll take care of him, baby, don’t worry.”

“I know you will. Carson and I have a late night, but if you need us call. We should be able to make it with one less person tonight. There aren’t many on the books and the walk-ins can come back another time.”

“I promise, I’ll call if I need you.”

“M’kay,” she says, coming up to me and kissing me before leaving the bathroom and heading out the door. I watch her ass sway and have to remind my dick that there’s no time to play this morning.

When I pick Trevor up, he looks like straight up ass. “Boy, how long have you been sick for?” I can’t help the anger displayed in my tone.

“It hit me last night around nine p.m.,” he answers.

“Why didn’t you call us when the Newberrys refused to take you to get treated then?”

“When I picked up my phone to call one of you, they took it from me. Told me it was a privilege, not a necessity, and I should stop taking advantage of y’alls kindness.” Those motherfuckers! I slam my hand on the steering wheel wishing it was Mr. Newberry’s face instead.

“You are not taking advantage of us, we’re your family, Trevor. Find another way to call us if this happens again.” Only I k
now it won’t, because our lawyer is filing an emergency hearing with his social worker, and a judge. I’m to have Dillon, Ariel’s husband, fax paperwork over to his office as soon as we’re seen, so he can add it to the filing.

We turn into the parking lot and I see him literally turn green. “Don’t puke in the truck!” I holler, scaring him, even though that wasn’t my intention. I run over to his side as he’s slowly getting out. I can see how weak he is when his legs begin wobbling and he has to hold onto the door to get out. I grab a hold of his arm to steady him, he leans into me and I shut the door. As soon as we’ve made it up the walkway to the front door, he falls to his knees and releases his stomach’s contents into the bushes.

“Sorry,” he tells me when he finishes, wiping his mouth with his shirt. I make a mental note to get him a clean one from my truck. I keep a spare change of clothes in a bag in the back seat for instances just like this.

“Don’t apologize, Trevor. You’re sick, man,” I say, helping him back on his feet. I can’t believe how sick he’s gotten over night.

“He has strep throat and an upper respiratory infection,” Dillon states as he looks through his test results. “I’m going to give him a prescription for antibiotics, and he needs a breathing machine with meds to help him breath better. If this went on any longer without receiving treatment, I’d be admitting him to the hospital for how dehydrated he’s becoming. Make sure he gets plenty of fluids and rest.”
