Revved Up Hearts: An MC Romance (Steel Knights Book 2) Page 16

by Liz K. Lorde

“Yeah,” he replied heavily, pumping in and out, the sweat on his body starting to form – making his muscles gleam with a certain kind of slickness. “You love it when I fuck that pussy, baby?”

“Yeah!” She cried, moving her hips as much as she could to grind against the man’s sex. Her clit ached with a desperate, fiery need to be touched. “I want you to fuck me – I want to have your children.”

“Fuck,” he pounded in to her with a renewed vigor, the likes of which she’d never seen. After a moment, he pulled himself from her and caught his breath, the two looking at each other with a wildness in their eyes.

Jasmine crawled forward on the couch and looked up into his eyes, placing her lips to the head of his cock and kissing it, “Are you done fucking me daddy?” She asked innocently, kissing along his head some more and then slipping her tongue beneath it, trailing and flicking across just the tip. Her hand moved down to her crotch, and her fingers pulled some of the juices of her pussy over to her clit. “My little hole still wants you, lover.”

Luke brought his hand to Jasmine’s face, and brushed back a few strand of her raven colored hair. He pet her cheek and her head and ran his fingers through her hair with affection.

She pursed her lips around the head of Luke’s cock, then bobbed her head down ever so slowly, rolling her tongue across the length of his hardness – until she throated him to the very last inch. Not once did she break eye contact, her fingers circling along her engorged clit; waves of dark pleasure washed over her as she bobbed up and down eagerly on Luke’s cock, listening closely to the sounds of his blissful groans.

Moments later, his hands were on the sides of her face, using her mouth like it were some kind of personal fucktoy.

God, yes, Jasmine thought. Use my throat anytime you want baby. Her body tensed up and she played with her clit faster, her bones humming with happiness at being used so deliciously. She could feel his cock invading her, violating her mouth and throat – brushing along her tongue – could smell the oddly attractive musk kissing at her nose. Little bits of saliva dribbled from the fullness of her lips, Luke’s cock hitting her at an angle – making her cheek bulge; her every hole was being molded and shaped by the man’s desire, and her body willfully craved for more.

After the man seemingly had his fill of Jasmine’s throat, he pulled himself from her – strings of pre-cum and saliva making a bridge between his shaft and Jasmine’s lips. In a single, mighty motion, the man scooped her up.

  Jasmine giggled, “Luke!”

He loosed something deep from his throat, his hungry eyes staring her down as he held on to her and moved across the living room. “I haven’t fucked you in nearly enough places,” he commented, a sly grin forming on his face.

She could feel the tip of his cock brushing against her bottom as the two moved into the kitchen. “Mmm, I completely agree,” she replied.

Luke placed her ass on the counter and tasted her briefly with his mouth and tongue, kissing and sucking and worshipping like she were some holy alter.

Jasmine whined and whimpered, squirmed and breathed; every motion of the man’s mouth made that ball of pleasure and need, deep in her sex, expand.

When the man was done, and he pulled away, Jasmine could see plainly the juices caught on his stubble and chin. He picked her up once more and propped her against the counter now, so that he could properly line up. His cock slipped in and the pink little lips of Jasmine’s pussy folded over his shaft – her walls gripping tight along the man’s sword. Luke pumped into her like a machine, hard and fast and methodical.

Something primal loosed from Jasmine’s lips, her sex clenching and unclenching as ecstasy bloomed through her, her clit becoming unbearably sensitive as she passed over that cliff. Jasmine cursed and called out her lover’s name, and her body shook; her nipples erect and inexplicitly linked to the throbbing in her clit.

“Good girl,” Luke praised, bucking wildly into her sopping wet sex. He whispered in her ear that he was going to pump her full of his seed.

Jasmine could feel his balls pressing up against her with every thrust, could feel his engorged hardness twitching with the need to release. She asked him to give her everything, and in one glorious moment she felt him shoot it all inside of her. He gave a last thrust and held her tight as he remained rooted deep inside of her honeyed flower; the white of Luke’s seed dripping from her greedy, wet lips, trickling down along the man’s still hard shaft. Her pussy felt full and used and well, the bones of her body soaked with pleasure – Jasmine’s mind was a wonderfully empty space, like a tablet that had too much written on it and now it was released of all.

  ***

The warm waters washed every worry and want away. She wiggled against Luke and the waters lapped along the ends of the tub; the hardness of his cock was intoxicating, she could not stop herself from wanting to play with it. “Mmm, haven’t you had enough?”

  “Of you?” Luke grinned, “never.”

Jasmine turned around and kissed his lips deep, giving a small nip on her way off of the man. “That’s my boy,” Jasmine replied.

Luke’s hand went down to her ass and squeezed it, “And that’s mine.”

“Always,” Jasmine breathed, feeling a hitch in her throat from the attention – it was enough to get her excited again, but she worked to calm herself. Stop being a nympho for two seconds, she chided. Jesus. She brought a finger to the man’s chest and made lazy little circles, “I want to know what you did,” she said, “you looked really… bad, when you got here.”

Luke’s features darkened, and he sank back about an inch, relaxing against the end of the bathtub. “Kayla’s father came to see me,” he confessed, “I don’t know how he got to me so quick, but the man hasn’t been a part of the Knights for a long time. He branched out into buying up real estate, stocks, and other legit forms of wealth generation. And, you know, he still dips into the black market shit – basically, the man’s got pull.”

“Okay, so, what did he want?”

The man sighed, “He told me, in so many words, that if I could get Kayla out of her depressive state, that he’d make sure nothing would stick on me.”

“So you went to go and see her, then?” Jasmine felt a surge of heat rush through her body, even though it didn’t mean anything, she still felt that sickly streak of jealousy. “This guy, her father, sounds like someone you don’t want to cross. If he can do what he did, I mean, that fast? That’s madness.”

Luke said not a word, seemingly clamming up.

  “Well?” Jasmine asked, “what else?”

He let out a long breath through his nose. “I went over there,” he said.

“And that’s it? That’s all you did. You talked about nothing.”

There was an almost imperceptible bob in the man’s Adam’s apple. “Before I acted like an idiot,” he started, “and attacked Augustus. I talked to Gabriel, and he told me that he was looking into who else was involved with my brother’s murder.”

Jasmine nodded her head in rapt attention.

“But he insisted that maybe it wasn’t a member of the club. That it might have been Kayla, or at least, it was worth looking into. So I thought about it, and I thought about it a lot. I told myself a lot about her, about what she was or wasn’t. I told her she needed to forget about me, that what she did to you was unforgiveable. Asked her if she had a hand in hurting Able, but she told me no.”

Jasmine’s chest felt hollowed out; something dark and biting was filling the cavity now, some subtle dread.

“So I tried playing nice. Told her, that if she told me the truth. I’d get back with her.” It stung to hear those words, even if Luke did not mean them. “When she told me, in so many words, that she did it? Everything else was just… noise.”

Jasmine looked at the man, her heart tapping against her breastbone. She could feel the droplets of bath water rolling down her skin, was hyper aware of her own breathing. Deep down she knew, she knew what it meant. If
the girl had admitted as much, there was only one thing that she could see Luke doing.

There was only the sound of the water sloshing around between the two as silence gripped them. Luke sucked in a breath and a visible shudder passed through him.

Jasmine squeezed his hand tighter and pressed the palm of her hand against his heart. She saw the hurt in his eyes; the water that began to form over them.

“She took away the only family I ever loved,” he croaked, turning his head away from Jasmine.

“I’m sorry, love,” she didn’t know what to say. She could hardly fathom the evil of one person, the insane girl that must have held the delusion of love in her heart. Jasmine wrapped herself around the man, and did her best to soothe him with soft words and little affections of the lips ‘round his neck and collar.

“H-how could she do that?” Luke sobbed, his hand covering his face.

Jasmine squeezed him tighter, trying to pour all of her love into him, as though she could be the rain that would wash away all the pain. She wished that she could eat his pain, and take it as her own – to hold it deep inside of her heart and let it rot her away – if only to spare him a precious few moments of those twisted agonies. Am I horrible for wanting to know more? You know it has to hurt him so, to even think about it.

“I let myself love a monster, and it got him killed, Jas, it got him fuckin’ done like that,” the words came out in a broken cadence. “I’ll never be a good father,” he said, “I’m nothing but a killer.”

“There’s only one person to blame,” Jasmine reassured, “your brother wouldn’t want you hating yourself.”

  “I can’t make it stop.”

“I’ll help you through it,” she promised, “I’d help you through anything. You’re going to be a great father, at least a part of you wanted to be one – I won’t have the instincts of a good mom,” Jasmine lamented.

“No,” Luke said, kissing the crown of Jasmine’s head and wet hair, “no, you’ll make a beautiful mother. I know you will,” he kissed her again, “I know you will, Jas.”

A good long while later, when the two of them were so soaked that their bodies began to prune; Jasmine helped Luke out of the tub – his eyes still a little red from earlier. She brought her hands down to his waist and pulled him against her, kissing his lips long and deep. He had told her as much detail as he could; and even though she knew it was wrong, Jasmine jumped through hoops to consider it a quasi-righteous act. He did what he had to do, she reminded. An eye for an eye, and a soul for a soul – but you know, you know it will lead to something worse. You’re just as much a killer now as he is. Even if it was in your defense, you took someone’s life.

“Jas?” Luke asked, brushing her face. “Seem like your lost in space.”

“No, it’s just – there’s something, that I should tell you.”

“You’re expecting twins,” he said dryly.

Jasmine smacked him on the chest, “No,” she said, “I’m expecting you’re going to get your ass kicked. I got myself into, uh, trouble.”

  “With who?”

Jasmine steeled herself and explained the situation, “There was this man, Carlos…”

Eventually, when she finished telling him what she had done, the two found themselves in Jasmine’s bedroom and they climbed into bed.

Luke shifted and brought Jasmine against him, letting her be the little spoon. He kissed her head, “I’ll keep this family safe,” he promised.

“We,” Jasmine corrected. “What’s our next move?”

“I’ve got money coming from a new connection, people moving in from Seattle. Just need to find a bit more cash and with the help of Benny and the rest, I’ll get a lease on that vacant mechanic shop.”

“I’ll use my line of credit,” Jasmine offered, “and dip in as a partial owner.”

“I don’t want you to use your money.”

“This is my choice,” she insisted, “so thanks for your input but it’s done.”

“You know your nose wrinkles when you get all flustered like that,” Luke smiled.

“Shut up,” Jasmine kissed the man’s lips, and the two fell into a peaceful slumber.

  ***

Jasmine poured herself another cup of coffee. Luke had left earlier, even before the sun had come up – he had the decency to kiss her and tell her goodbye, that much she remembered. Something about him going to make his big exit. She reached for her phone that was sitting on the kitchen countertop, plugged into the wall. When she summoned up the courage, she opened the text from her mother.

There was a punch that slammed into her gut. Jasmine unplugged the phone from its charger and dialed her mother’s number. She told her that she was ready to talk, ready to forgive and forget.

  Chapter Thirty-Three

  Luke

  “He there?” Luke asked.

“Yeah,” Sexton replied, “schedule’s clear today.”

“Did anyone catch wind of what happened to me?”

  “No? What’s up, what’d I miss?”

“Nothing,” Luke said, “who else is there at the club? I want to know whose with me.”

“You’re mad as a fucking dog if you’re thinking about coming here,” Sexton said, he then gave a small laugh.

“It’s about making a statement,” Luke shifted on his bike outside of a gas station, he turned his head, looking around to see if anyone was shadowing him. “I want him to know he’s the reason this club’s gone to shit.”

“He’ll drop you if you show up.”

“No, if he comes after me, he’ll lose just as much. Neither of us are gonna want a bloodbath like that; if it’s going to go down between us, it’s going to be on favorable terms.”

“Benny’s here, couple of prospects. Haymitch, Weyland. Counting you and Gabriel, would bring us to nine.”

“That’s not bad, don’t forget D.W – he’s gotta follow his kid, you would think. Let em know I’m comin, make sure they’ve got something on them too – so they think twice about doing anything stupid.”

  “Heard,” Sexton said.

“I’ve got enough funds, if you and the others pitch in a bit, to secure a lease on our shop. It’ll be ready soon.”

  “Good, where’s it at?”

“Down on Glover Street. I’m on my way now. Be ready.”

  “Heard.”

Luke’s FX-50 roared to life, a beast of steel hungry for the road beneath its foot. He made his way onto the road with the wind biting against his jacket, which rippled like water against the elements. The seat of his steel horse thrummed in a rush and his leathers creaked against his body with his every subtle motion.

The lights, the cars, the people; they were all just noise. Only the road was his true companion; the hard, yet strangely dulcet tones of his bike – the kiss of his wheel against the pavement, the winding and luscious curves of the road. The road was his flow, and nothing could break it.

But with that hyper state of clarity and peace, came trickling in the thoughts of a face so white and pale and lifeless. He saw her blue eyes empty and hollowed out, just two dead things pretending to be what they were not. In his head, Luke saw his brother, and his brother’s killer.

He saw Jasmine’s tired face in a hospital bed of blood.

So long as you have your ghosts, you’ll never be a good father. A good father shows up, he reminded. A good father bottles his pain and pushes past the bullshit; puts it all on the line for his family.

You did the right thing, he tried to convince himself. She had to pay for what she did, you were too blind – you never saw it coming. You got him killed.

Luke bit down against the inner maelstrom and picked up his speed, chasing his own high and going through a precarious light – narrowly avoiding a pair of vehicles between him. He slowed back down when reason returned; knowing that Martine would not be done with him so easily.

  ***

When he arrived at the Knights base of operations, Luke spotted Benny and Sexton u
p at the front waiting for him. The woods were lush and all encompassing, save for the clearing that was home to the walls that built the Knights HQ. His nose twitched as he breathed in the clear, earthly air. In a way, this was the only home he ever knew, and today, he would leave it. His bike came to a slow and then to a stop; he spied Alex at the entrance, who immediately recognized Luke. No doubt he’ll go and tell them I’m here. Luke stepped off of his bike. He met hands with Sexton and looked over to Benny, raising his chin an inch in recognition.

Sexton twisted in place and whistled, motioning with his hand for some people to come over. Luke had not noticed them earlier, but sure enough the five prospects were gathered at the building’s side – probably taking a smoke and drink. They were young men and fresh blood; but the new Knights would need them, and Luke needed them now more than ever.

Benny looked uneasy, “Don’t get why you’re doing this,” he said simply.

“Because I have to,” Luke replied, “I want them to doubt him, Ben. I want them all to know, that there’s a dividing line – and anyone that crosses it, from here on out – they’re gonna get got. This is war for what’s fucking right, getting out of guns and drugs for real. Going legit. Bettering the fucking community, not tearing it apart like rabid dogs fighting over the morsels our masters throw at us.”

Benny straightened his posture, and looked Luke dead in the eye, “It’s a mistake.”

Sexton looked like he agreed, though he did not speak a word as the prospects gathered at Luke’s heel.

Luke ripped off the patch on his jacket indicating his role as Enforcer, “No,” he said, “letting it go on for this long was a mistake.”

One by one the jacketed members of the Knights came out from the club’s rich, wooden, double entrance door. Alex and Robert, Allen and D.W; the prospects that were on deck and their weekly flings. They all gathered some feet away in a loose line from Luke and his men.

Robert had a sad look on his face; while D.W looked concerned and Alex and Allen wore a furious façade.

Allen brought his hand to his hip and produced a silver pistol, gripping it in his hands and keeping it at the ready, pointed towards the dirt. “You got some nerve, boy.”
