“Lie back. Keep your ass on the edge of the table. Offer your pussy to me.”

The last of his words made her close her eyes and shudder. She leaned backward and used her elbows to slowly bring her back flat against his desk. She scooted forward a bit and let her legs fall open to the side, knowing again that every inch of her pussy was being intimately exposed. He grabbed her ankles and pulled her body even more forward so that her pelvis was resting right against the edge of his desk, leaving her with the sensation that she might fall forward.

Violet’s head was resting flat against the table, staring at the ceiling above. Ceiling observation was a popular pastime in sex. Not to indicate that she was bored at all, in fact she was completely alive with sensory stimulation and that frightful dose of adrenaline-induced hyperawareness and sensitivity. She tried to soothe herself with the stark blank whiteness of the ceiling.

Still, she jumped when she felt his fingertips part the lips of her sex. His fingertips felt wet. He must have moistened them with saliva. He started to massage the inner lips of her cunt, tracing them up and down but stopping just short of her clit. She started to moan. He knew what he was doing. Barely touching her always did it for her. She knew that if he used that same light, feathery sweeping motion across her clit that she’d come in an instant. Hell, she might fall off the damn table in the throes of an orgasm if he did that.

His fingertips stayed dancing lightly over the path of her inner lips, and she couldn’t keep still. She felt her clit twitch. He pulled his hands off of her, and she moaned and cried out, desperately wanting the sensations to come back. She felt something warm and moist against her inner thighs, and her thighs automatically buckled.

Oh God, yes it was the warmth of his breath! This was the man she remembered. This was the man who loved her. This was the man she wanted.

Like warm, wet velvet, Sasha’s tongue reached out as she felt his tongue trace the path of her inner lips. She was moaning and crying out. Her chest was heaving up and down and causing the damn nipple clamps to send waves of pain throughout her body, but she didn’t care. There was nothing in the world that compared to knowing that the man she loved was with her at this very moment, using his tongue to drive her wild.

When Sasha’s tongue finally brushed its tip against her clit, Violet arched her back in pleasure. “I’m going to suck on your clit until you come, little flower. As soon as you think you are going to come I want you to pull off your nipple clamps. Raise your hands right now and keep them against the clamps. Don’t hesitate when you feel the point of no return.”

All she could do was dumbly nod her head. Violet wasn’t even sure if he could see that with the way she was pressed flat against the table. She raised her hands and touched them to the metal clamps and her burning nipples.

Again she felt his tongue tenderly licking her clit, and he flattened his tongue out and closed his lips around the bud of her sex, creating suction in his mouth and eagerly slurping on her sex. Her back arched again, and she was getting ready to pull off the clamps any second now.

Her nipples felt like they were going to burst along with the muscular tension building in her cunt. She cried out as she felt his teeth lightly graze the hood of her clit, nudging the head of her clit to be even more exposed. The tip of his velvet tongue licked in a circular motion against her clit and everything in her body tightened up, her back ferociously lurching off the table.

Violet pulled the nipple clamps off and screamed as the blood rushed back into her nipples simultaneously as the muscles in her cunt released their contractions. Over and over again, the walls of her cunt seemed to be thudding inside of her from the contractions. All she could see was blackness, squeezing her eyes shut even tighter and riding out the wave of pain and pleasure.

When her orgasm subsided, she almost wanted to cry. Her thighs felt like they were molten liquid and still there was a fire burning inside her cunt and in the tips of her red, swollen nipples.

“I’m going to fuck you now, Violet,” Sasha said, pulling her hips even farther off the edge of the table.

Violet thought she was rendered speechless, but still a whimper escaped past her lips. She felt the head of his cock bump against her pussy as he guided the tip of him inside her. She was so wet and the length of him slid in quickly. It wasn’t just her moans now. She could hear his mingling with hers and the thick wet sloshing of arousal-drenched flesh slapping together. They sounded like some primal, wild, and deprived orchestra.

“Oh God, Sasha, fuck me,” she cried out as he grabbed her hips, holding her an inch or so off the desk as he began to pound his cock into her. His cock felt just right as he pounded into her. The bulbous head hit the tender spot pressed up alongside the top of her internal wall, and she couldn’t stop screaming and thrashing around.

The orgasm building up inside her was going to hurt. Her muscles were screaming in protest, but still she felt it building up inside her and her walls tightening against his cock. He leaned deeper into her, painfully digging his thighs against her hips as it sent his cock farther up inside her, so deep it felt like he was going to bump her cervix.

The muscles of her cunt gave a final protest and then she felt her walls squeeze even tighter against his cock fucking into her, and she cried out trying to give him warning. Her back was buckling and she wasn’t going to be able to contain her body for this. She was coming, and the intensity of the orgasm jerked her upright into a sitting position but there wasn’t enough room on the edge of the desk. She felt it give way, knowing that she was falling off the desk and she was still moaning and crying out...somehow it still felt as if his cock was locked inside her.

She tumbled down and knew that his arms were wrapped around her hips, holding her up against the front of his warm sweaty body, and still he was sheathed inside her.

“I’m so close,” Sasha cried out as his fingertips dug into the cheeks of her ass, one of his fingers nearly pressing inside her anus as his hips bucked, slamming his cock in and out of her. Her own walls were still shuddering from the aftermath of her orgasm and she felt his give way like an angry howl. She felt his cock twitch rapidly, hugged tight against the walls of her pussy, and she knew his orgasm was as desperate and crazed as hers had been.

Staggering, he gently lowered her to the ground and finally his partially erect cock pulled out of her, leaving her with the feeling as if her cunt was gaping open, so wet and open. She was half leaning against the leg of the desk, half holding herself up from collapsing on the ground as he dropped down beside her.

“God damn it, Violet. Are you hurt?” he asked, as he checked her over, gasping for breath. When he raised his arm, Violet smiled and wiggled into his embrace, pressing herself up against his warm chest. She loved this man. The tender, wet, mushy way he was with her after sex. Seeing him like this made it all worth it.

  Chapter Four

Tristan had just sat down at a table in Macie’s new restaurant, Tomas’s, when Gabriel Sexton walked in. Sighing, Tristan picked up his menu and tried to hide behind it. All he wanted was some peace and quiet and something to eat. Since Ms. Prescott was off visiting her sons and nephews over at the Masterson’s Ranch and wouldn’t be back until Monday, he was left to fend for himself. After he got off his last business call of the day, he went in search of Violet, but she had disappeared. He called her cell phone, but when she didn’t answer, he left a message telling her where he was going and if she wanted, she could meet him there. Tristan didn’t like being in the new house all alone, so he hopped in his vehicle and drove into town.

It bugged him that many of the residents would stop what they were doing and stare as he passed by, with looks of distain and hatred. He had already given so much to this town and yet they still treated him like a pariah. He didn’t know what more he could do. He was tired of trying to appease them, when it seemed that all they wanted was his head on a stick. No matter what he did, nothing seemed to make them happy.

  After the mine
collapse, the Department of Agriculture and Engineering arrived to investigate the mines that ran under the towns of Treasure Cove and Celestial. The area, once a mecca for coal, gold, and silver, was now stagnate. The only resources that seemed untapped were the natural gas deposits, which Tristan owned. Oh, he knew that was a major sore spot with most of the residents, but he didn’t give a shit. He purchased the damn rights legally and no amount of browbeating and threats were ever going to get him to sign them back over to the town. The residents of Treasure Cove may not like the fact that he was now a permanent fixture, but he wasn’t leaving anytime soon. Besides, he made a promise to Violet, and he was determined to keep it.

Relocating hadn’t been easy, but he was muddling through. Most of his employees had made the move with him and yet they were better received that he was. He didn’t get it. They were here because of him! Yet he was the bastard.

To make matters worse, his best friend had gone off the grid. Tristan didn’t know what bug crawled up Sasha’s ass, but the man was quickly becoming a recluse. Sasha spent way too much time out at his new club. He was never home anymore, and he was avoiding Violet. Tristan tried talking to him on several occasions, but when the moody bastard put up walls, there was no talking to him until he was damn good and ready. Tristan just wished he knew what was bothering him, so he could fix it.

In the meantime, he was left taking care of Violet. Which he didn’t mind one bit, but lately he felt as if he hadn’t been doing a good job. His beautiful Violet had started to wilt and her once glowing smile had started to fade. Tristan knew he needed to make more time for her, but it was damn near impossible with her brother hounding his every move. Prime example was right at this very minute.

“There you are,” Gabriel said, sitting down in the chair in front of him. “Don’t you answer your cell phone?”

  “Not at dinner time.”

“Well, it’s a good thing I’m here, then. We need to talk.”

“No, we don’t. I’m eating. Business hours are between nine to five. Call my secretary and she will schedule a time tomorrow.”

“Damn it, Tristan, be serious. I need an answer about the memorial. The town council and the families of the dead want to know when the memorial is going to be built.”

“Well, I can honestly say it won’t be today, because I am about to eat dinner!” Tristan shouted a little too loudly, attracting others in the restaurant. Lowering the menu, Tristan took a long, deep breath. Yelling at Gabriel in public was not going to win him any favors, nor was shouting at the man. They used to be best friends. They went to school together. Hell, though the man was a pain in the ass, Tristan still considered him a friend. Only now, he was an annoying one.

“Where’s my sister?” Gabriel asked, leaning back against the chair.

“No clue. I’ve called her and left several messages. She’s probably with Sasha.”

“Have you figured out what’s wrong with him?”

“Have you?” Tristan countered. “I thought we were going to work together on the Sasha issue?”

  “He won’t talk to me.”

  “Me either.”

“Has Violet gotten anything out of him?” Gabriel asked. When Tristan tilted his head and raised his eyebrow, Gabriel lifted his hand and shook his head. “Never mind. I don’t want to know.”

“Are you okay with us dating your sister?” Tristan asked. He didn’t know why he asked the question. It seemed a little moot after everything that happened and considering they were living together. But for some reason he needed to know how Gabriel felt. Regardless of his answer, Tristan knew where he would stand with the man.

“It’s a little late asking me, don’t you think?” Gabriel grinned that mysterious menacing smile of his. Tristan knew that smile, and though Gabriel used it to make people squirm, it didn’t work on him.

  “Just answer the damn question.”

“To say that you are dating implies that you are trying my sister out, like test driving a new car. If that’s the case, you and Sasha are dead men walking. Now, if you were to ask what I thought about the three of you being together in a long-term relationship, then I would have to say, though I wasn’t happy at first, I get it. You and Sasha were able to help Violet when no one else could. You understood her and accepted who she was. Violet isn’t like other women. Her past dictates that. However, she has grown and matured over the last year. She’s no longer scared of her shadow and is starting to blossom before us all. I have you and Sasha to thank for that. So, yeah, if you must know, I’m okay with you and Sasha seeing my sister. However, if you hurt her, I will hurt you.”

“There you are!” Kelly O’Brian-Meyer said, walking over to them. “I’ve been calling you for the last hour. Don’t you answer your cell phone?”

“Why, Mrs. O’Brian-Meyer, don’t you look absolutely ravishing today?” Tristan smiled, giving Kelly his award-winning grin. When Kelly blushed, Tristan knew he’d just gotten away with whatever trouble he was in. “Thank you, Tristan, that was very sweet of you to say, but you’re still in the doghouse, mister,” she said, sitting next to Gabriel.

Damn, guess he thought wrong. “What have I done now?”

“For starters,” the perky blonde said, turning to Gabriel. “You need to stop this madness right now.”

“What did I do?” Gabriel asked, shocked.

“You are abusing your mayoral power, and you know it. To make matters worse, you are using your sister’s relationship to finagle Tristan into doing things for this town. It isn’t his responsibility to fund everything. So stop it, or I will tell Antoinette what you have been doing.”

“But,” Gabriel sputtered, but quickly shut his mouth when Kelly held up a finger. “Secondly, pinning your sister against the men she loves is just plain mean. I have half a mind to tell Hazel what you’re doing, along with the rest of the women in this town. You may be the mayor, Gabriel, but you don’t own it.”

“I am not pinning Violet against Tristan and Sasha,” Gabriel adamantly said.

“So, you never asked her to talk to Tristan and Sasha about anything regarding the town’s business?”

  “Not necessarily,” Gabriel muttered.

“That’s what I thought,” Kelly sighed. “Gabriel, I love you, but you have to stop interfering in her life. Yes, at one time she needed your help and support. You can still give her those, but she needs to get the majority of that from Tristan and Sasha. She can’t do that, when she is trying to please you and them. You’re driving her crazy.”

  “Why didn’t she say anything?”

“Would you have listened, or would you have tried to sweet-talk her? Face it, Gabriel, your little sister is grown up. She is getting better and it’s because of Tristan and Sasha. Let them take care of her, and you just be her brother.”

“Couldn’t have said it better. Thanks, Kelly.” Tristan grinned.

“And you, mister,” she said, rounding on him, with her little finger pointed in his direction. “You and Sasha need to get your shit together. You’re losing Violet. You are no better than Gabriel. So knock it off. If you have a problem with the mayor, take it up with him, do not bring it home and take it out on her.”

“I don’t do that!” Tristan shouted, getting angry. It was one thing to watch Gabriel have his ass handed to him by the sweetest woman in Treasure Cove, but it was altogether different when her anger was pointed directly at him. “I love that woman. I wouldn’t do that to her.”

“Well, you have been. You need to leave your work at the office. When you go home, be with her and stop running off to your damn office downstairs to work. When was the last time you actually spent any time with Violet, or Sasha for that matter? She’s depressed again, Tristan, and if you two don’t stop what you’re doing, she is going to revert back into her old self and you will lose her.”

“What do you suggest I do?” Tristan asked, knowing Kelly was right. Violet had been extremely quiet lately and she had lost some weight. At first he didn
t think anything of it, but over the last few months, he noticed she wasn’t the same.

“Get her away from all of this. The town, the construction, her budinski brother, everything. She needs a vacation.”

“He can’t up and leave! He still has things to attend to in town,” Gabriel argued.

“It’s nothing you can’t handle or pay for yourself, Gabriel,” Kelly replied then added, “I mean it, Tristan, take her away for a bit. Show her that she is still number one in your life, not your work. You and Sasha both need to do this. I haven’t seen Sasha in town in weeks. Something is wrong and it’s up to you to find out what. She’s worried about him and I think she has reason to be. Just show her that you still love her, that she’s still wanted. Women with her past need that, Tristan. You can’t save them and then think everything is going to be all right. You have to show her it will be.”

“You’re right. I haven’t been as attentive as I should have been lately. I’m sorry for that. I’ll talk to her tonight about going away for a bit,” Tristan relented. He knew she was right, and as much as he hated to admit it, he just assumed she would be happy. He never thought to ask her if she was.

“Now, I’ll let you boys get back to your dinner,” she said sweetly, leaning over to kiss Gabriel on the cheek and then Tristan. As she left, both men said nothing as they thought about what the local therapist said.

  * * * *

Violet had just put her shoes on when Sasha walked out of the bathroom. He managed to find a clean shirt, but he still looked overworked and in desperate need of a break. Her heart went out to him. She wanted to help him, but until he was ready to talk to her, there was nothing she could do. She wasn’t willing to give up on him, ever, so she asked again, “Sasha, please come home with me tonight. You need sleep.”
