She blinked away sudden tears. “But I’m not a werewolf. Will your Alpha allow me to stay? Will your pack-friends even like me? What if they don’t want a sidhe in their family?”
He pulled back and cupped her face in his hands, leaning forward to kiss her. “We’re bonded. Jake will definitely allow you to stay, especially when he hears all you’ve done to help us, and me in particular. And if I love you, then my pack mates will, too.”
Gwylla slid her hands under the hem of his shirt and up his back, marveling that the smooth, warm flesh didn’t have the slightest hint that he’d been shot and burned less than twelve hours earlier.
“Do you love me?”
He smoothed his hands through her hair. “Absolutely.”
When she’d left Aerie, she’d never thought life would be this wonderful, she’d never imagined what joy the Goddess had in store for her. How ridiculous she’d been to ever think she’d loved Talligie. Her feelings for that elf were nothing compared to what she felt for her wolf-man.
“Well good, because I love you, too. Now I seem to remember a certain werewolf promising to introduce me to the wonders of pizza and tequila.”
He kissed her again. “Will you be happy here, Gwylla?”
She looked into his dark green eyes with their flecks of brown and gray. “My beloved wolf-man, I will be happy anywhere you are. Anywhere.”

A huge thanks to my copyeditors Kimberly Cannon and Jennifer Cosham whose eagle eyes catch all my typos and keep my comma problem in line, and to Damonza, for cover design.
Most of all, thanks to my children, who have suffered many nights of microwaved chicken nuggets and take-out pizza so that Mommy can follow her dream.
