“Just wait , you must know , everyone knows it except you , listen carefully , this happened 15 years ago ,when I was young , I was the sheriff of all the villages alone ,one day I was travelling I saw a car in the middle of the street , I went to check it , there was no one in the car , I saw blood on the street , I followed the blood to the woods , I saw a hand on the ground, human hand , I moved ahead I saw a beast , I had seen nothing like him ever before , he was human wolf , he was really , really big he was breaking that dead man’s bones , I got afraid , a stick came down my feet and it got broken down , this brought werewolf’s attention towards me , I ran to save my life but he got me and he attacked at me from his big nails , I felled down , at that moment I left the idea of running away and I picked my gun up and I shot him ,as the bullets strike him he ran away , I followed him ,I was following the blood drops that were falling down from his body , the blood was flowing from my body too I followed him till a distance but I felled down unconscious , the next time I woke I was in hospital , I told doctors and people in the village about this but no one believed me , they just called me mad they said that the man was killed by an ordinary wolf , those mad people can’t even think that an ordinary wolf cant drag a man to that distance anyhow , no one believed me , so I decided to kill that werewolf and present it in the front of people so that they can believe me and they will stop calling me mad , it was a full night moon, the night I encountered him for the first time , so I went out on every full night moon , finally after six months I saw him ,it was hard to kill him but after many efforts I killed him , but as soon as I killed him he got turned into a man of nearby village , no one believed me that that man was a werewolf and I was sent to prison for killing that man , I returned back and still now people don’t respect me , I saved them from a werewolf they all owe me a big thanks and yet they don’t thank me and they call me mad , I know there is a werewolf even now somewhere , I can feel it , I can see its footprints sometimes , I will find it out and people will believe me this time . Do you believe me now?”.
“How much percent of your story was true, I think only going to jail part was true ?” .
“Do you also think like others?”.
“Yeah I don’t believe you, you are probable making a story ” I said and went towards my house .
“Don’t believe me now but you will believe me soon, just wait you all will believe soon” he shouted and threw the bottle of liquor at the ground hard.
I didn’t believed him that day .
“No one would have,Cleanyour hands” doctor threw a towel at Jack and Jackcleaned his hands.
“Ah thanks for the food , I am getting such a delicious food after a long time ”.
“Welcome ,we give food to our patients”.
“I am not your patient yet and I am sure you will not make me your patient because I am not mad”.
“We will see after you complete your story, so it was Christmas after that day you talked with Adam?” .
No there were days in between , but I will tell you about one specific day.
“What happened that day”.
Day with Olivia
As Olivia said we meet at 10 in the morning .
She was just looking stunning , I had to stop to take a good look at her as she came towards me .
“So where should we go today?” I asked her.
“Ah I think we must go to the market , have you seen the market here?”.
“No , I didn’t got the time yet”.
“Fantastic it will be great then , do you have money in your wallet today or it is empty like that day” she said .
“I have money , I had that day too ” I said smiling , we took a bus and we went to the market .
It was a nice place, it was good, it was not as crowded as NewYorkmarket,Christmas was near so there was crowd, and the market was spread over a large area , it was no too fancy but I liked it.
“How is this place?” she asked smiling .
“I am happy that I am here , I am happy because I came here with you” . I said and she stared at me for a while with a smile over her face
“All right give me fifty dollars” she raised her hand and said , there was a childish expression on her face and I loved that expression.
“Oh , it seems you want to empty my wallet today” .
“Yeah you can think that way , she said and I gave her 100 dollars” .
“I just asked 50 dollars now”.
“I think you will need 50 more after you spend these 50 so I am giving you in advance”.
“Oh , I understand , so do you see there are two gift shops”she said pointing at shops .
“Yeah”
“I want you to go in right one and I will go in left one and we will purchase a gift for each other , we will not show that to each other , we will present it to each other at Christmas , do you liked my ideafor the present ?” .
“Yeahit’s awesome, I liked your idea of buying a gift for me from my money, I really liked it , so let’s go” I said smiling and I hold her hands for a moment .
We went to shops and I could not find anything that I should give to her at that stage, I haven’t said I love you to her yet .
“What do you want sir?” the shop owner asked me .
“ Hi, I am just looking ” I said and I saw a teddy I love you was written over it , I know many boys present this type of teddies to girls as a gift but I also decided to buy that ,I was real bad at purchasing gifts , so that teddy was still something I knew would be a good gift , I told the shop owner to pack that teddy and I came out with the teddy packed in the box , I and Olivia came out of the shops at the same time .
“We made the same time” I said looking at her.
“Yeah” she said and looked at the gift.
“I love the gift in your hand ” I said looking at the gift .
“You had to wait till Christmas”.
“I can wait for that” we came out and we were just roaming in the market .We were passing by different streets , the streets I don’t even remember now .
Olivia saw a set of dress in a shop , it was a beautiful blue dress , really beautiful ,she stopped there for a moment she looked at it she wanted that dress but she just moved ahead , I saw her eyes , she moved ahead but I stopped ,I was standing there , I was standing outside the store .
“Let’s go Jack” she said looking back .
“Sorry Olivia , I need to go to toilet urgently , I hope this shop have a toilet inside it , just wait for me , I will be back in a minute , If I will not came out in a minute you can come inside looking for me as you will not like me to lost in this crowd” I said and she laughed , I know it was not a funny joke , but who cares , when you are in love , you don’t think much , you just say whatever comes to your mind
“Really, toilet now” she said .
“Oh its urgent” I said and ran inside .
“Hey” I said to the shop owner .
“How can I help you sir ?” he said .
“Do you swap credit cards ?” .
“Yes we so sir” .
“Great , I would like to do some purchase” .
“I just bought that beautiful dress , I bought one more dress just like it , it was red in color , I bought both of them and I came outside” .
“You took a lot of time” Olivia said .
“I was buying something ”I said smiling .
“What’s that” she said looking at the bag , “oh god you bought that dress ” she said and she jumped a feet from the ground in the excitement .
“Yeah I liked that , if I would have been a girl, I would have bought it without wasting a second before anyone else buys it”.
“How did you came to know that I liked it”.
“Your eyes speak when your mouth remains silent , which means you talk all the timeand by the way I am learning to read the eyes these days , your eyes”. We looked at each other for a while , standing still outside that shop.
“It was n
ice knowing about me , thanks for the dress , carry them for menow”.
“What you want me to carry them now”.
“Yeah , I didn’t said you to buy that”.
“I cango inside and I can return it , then”.
“They don’t take sold clothes back , see its written there too”she said and pointed at the board .
“That’s so unfair” .
“Yeah it is” .
“Okay I will carry them then”I said looking at the board .
“Oh give me one”she said after walking for a distance .
“Do you really want to carry one?”.
“Yeah”
“Thanks for the help , I really appreciate that, yeah I really do”.
“Oh, mention not” she said and both of us laughed .
We were just walking and laughing,Rita was there with her friends
“OhJack , you are here , its seems you came for shopping here , aren’t you ?” Rita said and Olivia turned her face away from her .
“yeah , I just want to apologize to you Ritafor slapping you , I didn’t wanted to but I did , I don’t know why , I regret my decision , I am sorry”I was really sorry for slapping her that day .
“Let it be , I am not accepting your apology so easily come-on girls” she said and went away .
“I find her everywhere I go , she is with me since childhood ,and still we are not friends” Olivia said looking at Rita going .
“let her go, would you like to have some coffee , this café looks good” I said looking at the café nearby.
“No I can’t drink coffee with you” .
“Why ?” I said in a surprise.
“I will take coca cola this time” she laughed .
“Really you want coca cola now”.
“ Yeah ”
“You know what Olivia , you are not an easy girl to understand, understanding you is more difficult than solving a crosswords puzzle” .
“I hope you are an expert at solving puzzles ” .
“I was just giving an example , till now I haven’t won with you in words” .
“You haven’t won from me in any way” she said with a smile and moved ahead .
“You are right ” I said standing at that place .
“Come-on now , I don’t want you to go missing now , I will not like to paste your missing posters around the city” .
“ I know my way home ” I ran towards her and said .
“She was a great girl man what happened next?” doctor said with a smile .
We went to the café and we ordered a can of cola and a coffee , she was drinking cola and I was looking at her drinking it even the other people were surprised , they were looking at her
“I will like to have coke too ” I said to waiter looking at Olivia and he brought it for me , I too begin to drink it now people removed their eyes from Olivia and now they were paying attention to their partners .
“How are you drinking this ?, it’s too cold”.
“Just keep it for few seconds in your mouth before you pass it inside” she said and we drank it that day , I was drinking it for the first time in winter season .
“It felt good drinking coke in this season ” I said .
“Drinking coke makes me feel good every time”.
“Yeah , I got that today , so what’s the reason , why are you so different”.
“What kind of different ?” .
“You know the kind , you don’t show up in class ,instead of coming to class you roam on the terraces , you like to give surprises and there are many more things” .
“I love being different , I live my life my way , I don’t like to walk on the path of traditions created by someone else for their benefits , I like to make my own ways , doing this give me happiness believe me I am really proud of myself” .
“You are great” I said looking at her we talked and we went to the bus stop and we took a bus, we didn’t get any seat to sit on but it didn’t bothered me as I was with Olivia and we came to the village and it was the way to her home .
“I will see you tomorrow then” I said standing on the way as she was going .
Her heart was not letting her go , she was turning after each step she was taking towards her home , she was saying bye , my heart too was not letting me , we both were feeling the same way , we both wanted to stay together, we both were just hiding our true emotions and we were just smiling , finally something happened which I never thought may happen so soon .
“What happened ?” doctor asked .
She came running andhugged me , “can you stay with me , I am all alone” she said hugging me
“Yeah I just want to be with you ”I said looking at her , she looked at me , she hold my hand and we walked towards her home .
“I will show you how this dress looks on me” she said biting her lip.
“Yeah I will like to see this beautiful dress on the most beautiful girl I ever saw” I said and we reached her home .
It was the only home in there ,we went inside it was a beautiful house , really beautiful from inside , there were three rooms in the house , one room was closed , and there was a lock on it , the rest two were decorated nicely .
“It seems you spend a lot of time in decorating your home” I said looking all around .
“ Yeah I do , this is the only thing I do”.
I just begin to look the house , one room was locked , and I went near it .
“I keep it close” she said looking at the door .
“Oh Why do you do so ?” I stopped and asked .
“I just lock it sometimes as I don’t use it most of the times, will you like to have coffee?”.
“Yeah” I said, this was the first time I went to a girl’s house , I was little uncomfortable , but there was no one in the house except me and Olivia so it was not that much uncomfortable .
I sat on a chair and she went to the kitchen , I was waiting for her to come out with the coffee but she was in the kitchen so I too went to the kitchen .
“The coffee is ready” she said and handed over the cup to me .
“Thanks for the coffee , Olivia thanks for inviting me to your home”.
“The pleasure is all mine” .
“Oh, this coffee tastes so good” .
“ Don’t lie ,It’s just normal” .
“No its not , it’s the sweetest coffee I ever drank” .
“I don’t have any magic in my hands” .
“No you do have a magic , the magic of the love ” I said and she smiled .
“You bastard you were doing really great” doctor said .
I wasn’t doing that great , let me tell you what I said next .
“So where are your parents?” I asked looking at her .
“My father was killed by a man when I was nearly threeand my mother was killed by a beast when I was young” .
“that’s painful to hear ,I am sorry to ask that”.
“Hey it’s fine ” she said removing a tear that came to her eye .
“You had a very painful life since your childhood , all alone” .
“Yeah I had , but not that painful because I never forgot how to smile” .
“You have a beautiful smile” .
“Thanks,you too are really charming” .
“I don’t doubt on your words” .
“Ha-haso what about your family , what brings you here from NewYork?”.
“Oh My father , my father is a clerk in a bank there in New York ,and yeah I came here in search of something” .
“Have you got that ?” .
“Yeah , I got that” I said as I took a deep breath looking into her eyes
“Oh you forgot but you were about to show me the dress” I added .
“Yeah I will go and change” she took up the dress and went to change , I sat on the same chair , I don’t know why did I lied to her about my father but by now I have lied , I was thinking why did I lied with my head down she came to room and I looked
at her , she was looking more beautiful than angels .
“Wait, tell me have you seen angles? ” doctor asked .
“ No ”
“Then why are you saying she looked beautiful than angels” .
“No one can be as beautiful as she is , all right , don’t interrupt me again while I loose myself in thinking about Olivia” .
“You are looking great , you have increased the beauty of this dress” I stood up and said .
“You are such a big liar”.
“I never lie and why I would lie to a beautiful girl like you, you are beautiful and I don’t need to lie in praise of your beauty”.
“Thanks,I liked your words”.
“You look gorgeous, can I hug you please , please” .
“I don’t have any problem” .
“ Great ” I said and hugged her .
“Hold me so tight that you can feel my breath” she said .
“I will , believe me I have always felt your breath , even during the times I didn’t even felt mine” I said thinking about my dreams .
“Jack ”
“Yeah”
“You will think I am mad when I will tell you this but it’s true that I have seen you before”she said while she was in my arms .
“Believe me I too have seen you before”.
“In my dreams” we both said together we were surprised we just looked at each other’s face .
“Is this really happening?”I said laughing in a surprise .
“Yeah I think it’s really happening , when I saw you for the first time in college I just followed you everywhere , I followed you when you talked with Steve and gang and later when you talked with Rita”.
“So you were the one who was following me ? ” .
“Yeah and I came in front of you later when I was sure you were the one”.
“So you were also felling the same way as I was when you talked to me for the first time?” .
“I don’t know how you felled, but yeah I am sure we would have felled the same way”.
“I love you” I said to her finally I said the words , I wanted to say to her from the first time I saw her in my dreams .
“I love you too” she said and kissed me .
“Hey what was that?” I said smiling , my heartbeats were so high that I felt that my heart was about to burst out but fortunately I survived .
