“Yeah I don’t know that” I said and looked at Gerard , he smiled
“I will come to pick you up in my expensive car on the day of the election , all right?” .
“You can pick me up too”Gerard said .
“Yeah , it will be good , I will also get to sit inside a expensive car and by the way not everyone gets to sit inside a car like that” I said making fun of myself .
“Yeah not everyone and the ones like Olivia never get to sit inside expensive cars” she said , I could not control my laugh this time and I laughed .
“Why are you laughing ?” she asked
“I am laughing thinking about how poor I am really, oh God why am I so poor ”I said , I wanted to crack down with laughter from inside , but I was stopping myself .
“You don’t need to bother , you will get to see expensive things when you will became my friend”.
“Thanks , but I think you must go now , I have stuffs todo , they are important , if they were not important ,I would have never asked you to go really , believe me ” .
“What you really want me to go? ” I felt like I was braking her ego but I didn’t care .
“Yeah I really , really do want you to go” I went to the door and opened it .
“ Fine , All right , I am going then” she said while walking out .
“See you at nigh”t she said sitting on her branded car
“Yeah see you at night” I said and closed the door , “oh god why did you send her here today” .
I came inside and sat on my couch I was feeling some relief.
“She is really hot really hot”Gerard came near to me and said .
“She came here for you , she just talked about you , and you must ask her for a date if you felt the same way she was feeling” I said in a funny mood.
“Is she really attracted to me ?” Gerard said and he was falling for Rita .
“Yeah..She is”.
“All right then I will ask her tonight” he said smiling and went inside , I too smiled .
Then the bell rang , I was sitting on the couch , “who is here now?” , I said “Gerard please go and open the door”.
“I am in the bathroom , I not coming out before 10 minutes” he shouted from inside .
“Oh god , I need to do everything myself” I said and opened the door and I was surprised, I was really surprised .
“What was it ?” doctor asked .
It was mom standing at the door .
“Jack” she said as I opened the door .
“Mom?” I said and opened the door .
“You don’t seem happy , aren’t you happy to see your mother here” .
“Yeah I am happy” I said and looked at the car .
She too looked back “ your father didn’t got time , he also wanted to come but he stayed”.
“I love you mom ,let’sgo inside , its cold outside ” .
“ Yeah it is ” she said and we went inside .
We went inside and driver brought her bag inside .
“It’s really a little house” , she said looking around ,and Gerard came out .
“Who is he?” she asked .
“He is the brother of Jason”.
“ Jason has a brother ? ” mom asked .
“ Yes , mom he do have ” .
“Oh , how are you brother of Jason?” she asked
“I am fine mam ,by the way the name is Gerard, I have heard about you from my brother , and it’s nice seeing you”.
“It’s , nice to meet you Gerard , thanks for taking care of my son” she said and Gerard felt proud , as he was working all day and night to take care of me.
“Tell me mom why are you here really ?” I asked as we sat on the couch .
“To be with you on the new year, you are my life ”.
“So what about father , can he celebrate new year alone?”.
“Yeah he can , he has to , also he is an important person of New York , he has many functions to attend, and did you saw the new black car outside?”.
“Yeah , it’s your new year’s gift”. As mom said Gerard run to window to take a look at it .
“Okay”
“What’s the matter you don’t seem to be happy ?” .
“I am happy mom , I am very happy , I was just not expecting you here at this moment ”
“This place is not good mam , and there are wolfs around”Gerard came there and said as he said that I saw fear on mom’s face
“ Gerard , don’t do that , this place is all right mom , don’t be afraid”
“I can live here for few days , I will return on two” .
“What, you are not going to stay here for long ?” .
“I can’t leave my kitty parties in New york” she said and smiled .
“Where are the keys of car , I want to drive it , I was missing cars” I said in Excitement .
“Driver” she signaled to the driver and he gave me keys .
“Come on mom , I will take you to my girlfriend’s home”.
“Now ?”
“ Yeah , come on ” I said
Olivia meets my Mom
We went to her house .
“It’s really a …..Little house, are you sure you really love this girl?”. She asked me .
“ YeahMom ,I brought you here so that you can meet her , not because I wanted you to see her house”.
“I got that” she said and begin to look around ,her eyes fall on those two wolfs , “oh god” see looked at wolves , “save me Jack” she said holding me .
“They are tied mom” .
“Tied ?, who tied them ?”.
“Olivia the girl , I love”.
“What kind of girl she is , isn’t she afraid of carnivores”.
“No , she is brave” I said and I was about to knock on her door
“Wait , wait , how I am looking?” she asked me .
“Like always , sweet, by the way , why did you asked this ? ”
“ Because, first impression is the last impression ” .
“ Oh Okay ” .
“Okay , knock at the door” she said and I knocked , Olivia opened the door , she could not see my mom as she was behind the door .
“Jack , you could not stop yourself till night huh , you came to meet me” she said and grabbed me towards her and kissed me .
“My mom is here”I said in a very low voice .
“ What ? , you are kidding hah” she said and kissed me again .
“I am not kidding” I said stretching the words .
“Where ?”
“Behind the door” I said and she pushed the door to look , the door strike with mom and she felled down .
“Oh god , my nose”
“Are you all right mom?”I said holding mom .
“ Oh god ! Are you all right mam” she said holding my mom .
“You broke my nose , my nose” she shouted .
“I am sorry mam , I didn’t meant that”.
“ But you did it ” .
“ I am so sorry ” she said again
“Let’s go inside” I said and we went inside and gave an ice pack to mom to apply one her nose .
Who will like to use this in this cold , she said and threw it .
“ I am really sorrymam ” she said again
“ All right its fine , I accept your apology , Introduce me to her ” she said .
Olivia , she is my mother , mother she is Olivia.
“ So you are the dream girl of my son ? ” she asked looking at Olivia .
“ Yeah he is my dream boy ” she replied looking at me .
“ So do you live here alone ? ”Mom asked looking at the house .
“ Yeah ”
“ What about your parents ? ” .
“ They are dead mom ”I said as Olivia could not tell .
“ I am sorry she said looking at me . You would have seen many hard days in your life then ”
“ Yeah I have ” Olivia said .
“ So
what do you do to earn money ”
“ I hunt down flesh ” .
“What?” my mom said with fear
“ I mean I sell fishes for four months in a year and save the income for whole year ”.
“ Oh it’s good you are self-dependent then ”.
“ Yeah ”
“ You are such a nice kid ” my mom said .
“ Thanks ” Olivia said , this made me happy too , Olivia and mother met in an awkward way but soon things went in the way I wanted them to be and Olivia was able to impress mom and mom begin to like her , how can anyone not like such a sweet girl , we stayed there for a while , mom asked her lot of questions , they even for a while chatted alone while I waited outside , but overall it was good and it was a big relief for me
“Ok we must go now Jack , Olivia we will meet you later ”.
“ But mom ”.
“Didn’t you listen what I said ”.
“ As you say mom” I said we came outside her house, we were all standing here and I looked at Olivia , mom was looking at both of us
“I will see you at the party , Olivia” I said , I said and I wanted to kiss but as mom was there , so yeah went with a hug and hugged her. Olivia smiled looking at us while we walked towards the car
we sat on the car , we left Olivia alone at her house we were going towards home
“ I liked her , she is innocent , and she is beautiful ”mom said smiling and thinking of her .
“ Thanks mom, I was sure that you will like my girl ”
“ Yeah , I liked your girl .But yeah I don’t liked her wolves , I will not let her bring them to NewYork ” she said and laughed .
“ I am staying here mom ” I said and she stopped laughing .
“ What ? , did you know what you just said ”.
“ Yeah , I know , I like it here , I will start a business here ”.
“ What kind of business will you start here , will you catch fishes too ? ” .
“ why not ? I will do Anything, just to stay with her ”.
“ You have no future in here Jack , don’t act like a child ”.
“ She is my future mom ”.
“ Don’t make me go against her ” .
“ I am not making you mom , I am just telling you , I like it in here and I am happy to be here ” .
“ You can’t even imagine how bad I am feeling at this moment ” .
“ I know mom that it’s not easy for you and dad , but I can’t stay with you forever ” .
“ So you are going to leave your parents ? ”.
“ I am not leaving you , I will visit NewYork sometimes ”.
“ So you will visit your parents ”.
“ Yeah I will ”.
“Ok its fine , if this is going to give you happiness , to me nothing is more important than your happiness ” .
“ Mom I am really fortunate to have understanding parents like you ” .
“ Yeah ,and we are fortunate to have you ” she said .
“ So you had decided to live with her in Alaska, is this your final decision ?” .
“ Yeah its final”mother finally agreedand allowed me to live there.
I was loving being with Oliviaand I decided not to go anywhere
“So what happened at night , you must have enjoyed ” doctor said .
Night
At Night I went to Olivia’s house to pick up her , because I don’t want her to walk to the place of celebration .
I went inside her house , she was sitting in front of the mirror .
She was all dressed up and was looking beautiful , for me she defines the word beautiful .
“What did your mother said about me ?”she asked as I entered inside , she was anxious .
“ She didn’t liked you Olivia” I said just to tease her , it was a prank .
“ What ? , tell me this is a lie ”.
“ I wish it could be , but it is true ”.
“ I can’t live without you Jack ”.
“ Nor do I can,Olivia ”.
“ Why did she said no , she seemed happy to me ” .
“ She didn’t liked your long nose ” .
“ What ? I don’t have a long nose ” she said looking at the mirror .
“ And she didn’t liked your hairs ” I added .
“ Jack I was wearing woolen cap when she met me , she didn’t even got to see my hairs , it’s enough of your pranks now , just tell the truth now ”.
“ So the truth is , She liked you and yeah she permitted me to live with you here ” .
“ Really ? that’s a really good news Jack ”She said and hugged me tight
“ Yeah it is ”.
“ Was it necessary to play a prank on me ? ”.
“ No ”
“ So , you like pranks , hah , so just tell me how am I looking ? ” .
“ I don’t know ”.
“ What do you mean? ”.
“ I haven’t seen someone as beautiful as you are , so how can I compare with you others , I haven’t seen angles , I haven’t seen Venus , so how can I tell that how are you looking ” .
“ Thanks , you are looking great Jack ”.
“ I always look great ”.
“ Should I wear this necklace ” .
“ Yeah I have bought so that you can wear it ” .
“ So finally you accepted that you bought it ”.
“ Oh , I got trapped here , let me help you with this” I helped her in wearing that necklace.
“ Everybody’s going to get very jealous today ”I said looking at her .
“ Why ?”
“ You are looking very beautiful , girls will be jealous from you because of that , and boys will be jealous from me because I am going to be with you ”.
“ Maybe its time to make them jealous ” she said smiling and kissed me on my forehead .
“ All right lets go ” we said and came out .
“ That’s a really nice car Jack ” .
“ Thanks you first ” I said .
She tried to open the door , but she could not “ how to open this door ? ” .
“Just lift it up , let me show you ” I said and went there , I hold her hand “ just press the button and lift it up , see this is easy you got this ? ” .
“ Yeah I got this ”.
“ Do you want to do this again?’.
“ No I got that ” she said and sat inside the car ,
“Fancy car , hah”
“Yeah , it is kind of” I said and drove towards the destination
We reached at the party, I stopped the car and everyone was looking at the car , Rita ,Steve, Adam everyone .
“ Who have that much expensive car here ? ”Rita asked Steve.
“ I don’t know” he replied he was not even blinking his eyes while looking at the car .
“ I want you to step down first ” .
“ Me , why ? ”
“ I want someone to show that you can also travel in Lamborghini, I want someone to see that you can travel in expensive cars I just want to make someone jealous ” I said looking at Rita from inside of my car and said .
“ All right ” she said and kissed me .
She stepped down everyone looked at her and everyone was surprised .
Rita was holding a drink in her hand “ she , how is this even possible ”the drink fell down from her hand as she said .
“ How is this even possible ”Steve added .
Gerard was looking at everyone and he was feeling proud of being my friend “You don’t even know how to showoff Jack” he said looking at the car
“ Are we dreaming? ” they said looking at each other .
Then I stepped down , “ Jack ” they said in surprise .
“ Who is he actually? ” Ritaasked .
“ He seems rich to me, very rich to me ” Steve added , I hold Olivia’s hand and we joined the party , my mom was standing with Gerard she came near .
“ You both are looking like
a couple , I will like to see you as my daughter in law ” she said , I was really speechless at that moment , so I didn’t said anything
“ Thanks ”Olivia said she was very happy, so was I , she looked at me and then hugged my mom,my mom kissed on her forehead .
“ So you forgot your son , mom hah ” I askedsmiling .
“ Come here ” she said and kissed me on my forehead .
“ I think I have seen that women somewhere , where have I seen her? , yeah I got it, she was a model once , we were friends when we were in California , she still looks so beautiful ”Rita mother said to Rita .
“ How are they so rich mom ? ” Rita asked her mother .
“ She married a nice person , nicer than your father ,he wasn’t rich when they married like your father but now he is the mayor of NewYork,they have many industries also ”.
“ So Jack is the son of the mayor? ”Rita asked in surprise
“ You know him? ”her mother asked her
“ Yeah ”
“ Then you know what to do ”she said with a cunning smile .
“ But he is in relationship with that bitch Olivia ”.
“ Don’t you know how to make people break their relationships ”.
“ I do ”
“ Then do it today , it’s a nice day to do that , make them hate each other ” .
“ I will surely do that mom at last I have learned a lot from you ” .
“ Yeah prove me that you are my daughter tonight ” . her mother said .
“ So Rita and her mom were planning something wrong against you ?” doctor asked .
“ Yeah they were ” .
“ So what happened next , complete your story now , I don’t have much time left” doctor said looking at his watch .
“ We should dance now ” I said looking at the other people dancing and enjoying .
“ I am nervous Jack ”Oliviareplied .
“ I am also nervous , I have never danced before , so let’s go, we can do it ” I said and we went to the dance floor , which was already crowded , we begin to dance and Rita’s mom went to my mom , Rita was busy , busy in making plans .
“ Hey do you recognize me ” she went to my mother and said
“ No I didn’t ”
“ We did modeling together in California ” .
“ My mother taught for a while , ah ” .
“ You recognized me now ? ” .
