About the Translators
Anna Volmari is a Finnish, internationally educated freelance translator. J. Robert Tupasela is a Finnish-Australian, New-York-raised translator. Between them they have two decades of translation experience and have lived in five countries on three continents. They collaborate on literary translations between Finnish and English, including English translations of Finnish authors Leena Krohn, Jyrki Vainonen and Carita Forsgren and Finnish translations of two crime novels by James Thompson. They live in Helsinki with two cats and a mountain of books.
