Dragon Prince Yuan c1-1251 Page 326

Everybody’s heart jumped to their throat. Zhou Yuan was too bold to dare say such words in front of Jin Chanzi.

Jin Chanzi was taken aback before bursting out in laughter.

Tang Muxin and the others raised their guard.

Jin Chanzi smiled. “Rest assured, I am also a Chosen of the Sacred Palace. How can I lower myself to deal with a nobody? Wouldn’t I be laughed at?”

It was only then that Tang Muxin’s body relaxed a little. She seemed to ignore the ridicule and mockery present in Jin Chanzi’s words. After all, given Jin Chanzi's status and power, who would dare to do anything against him?

Jin Chanzi ran his eyes across Tang Muxin and the others, the corners of his lips lifting up into a strange curve.

“But, then again, what is face? Would I, Jin Chanzi, care about such things?” A chilling laughter slowly rang out.

Then, under countless frightened gazes, Jin Chanzi abruptly flung his sleeve. All of a sudden, a torrent of incredibly berserk jade-green Genesis Qi came roaring out.

  Boom!

The torrent of Genesis Qi split the courtyard in two where it passed. Zhou Yuan could not dodge in time, so then, in a thunderous manner under countless horrified gazes, it fiercely struck him.

  Bang!

It blasted Zhou Yuan's figure thousands of metres away as if he had suffered a heavy blow. His body tore down countless walls, stone pavilions and everything else in the way.

  Boom!

His body eventually slammed into a building, which then collapsed and buried him.

The whole manor went deathly still.

Countless people stared at the smiling Jin Chanzi in frozen disbelief, not expecting that this Chosen, who was ranked third in the Sacred Palace, would have such an unpredictable temper. He did not even take into consideration his identity when he had unexpectedly attacked Zhou Yuan.

His move should have killed that chief disciple from the Cangxuan Sect, right?

  Chapter 607 Want Him Dead

Huge cracks tore the manor apart. Right now, the tense atmosphere in the manor had long been transformed into a deathly silence. All the chief disciples stared in shocked horror, holding their breaths in fear.

Who would have thought Jin Chanzi would attack all of a sudden...

Generally, according to the rules of the various clans, Chosen would only act against other Chosen. Rarely would a Chosen attack a chief disciple because that would be an unfair battle and a dishonorable victory even if they won.

But right now, not only had Jin Chanzi attacked, he had done so without warning...

With such a thunderous attack, any one of the chief disciples here would most likely be killed in seconds.

  On a nearby pavilion.

Zuoqiu Qingyu sprang up, her charming face deathly pale. By the window, Li Chunjun's and Ning Zhang’s faces also grew overcast. On the Heavenly Ghost Sect’s side, Zhen Xu’s expression remained unchanged, but he couldn’t help but clench his fists inside his sleeves.

This sudden scene had shocked everyone present.

Even the chief disciples of the other four sects that were present also had faces of shock and fear. Jin Chanzi had not held back at all with his attack.

If it had been them, they would have had no chance of surviving.

To think the Chosen ranked third in the Sacred Palace would perform such an unscrupulous move and ignore the rules entirely.

In the square, Tang Muxin and others were also dumbfounded. It was only after several seconds that they finally recovered from the shock and witnessed the huge crack next to them.

They trembled all over. It was from both anger and fear.

If that blow had been directed at them, they would not have survived.

“Jin Chanzi...you, how dare you!” Tang Muxin’s jade-like finger pointed at Jin Chanzi. Her voice was trembling, and her eyes were red. “You broke the rules, the Chosen from my Cangxuan Sect will not let you get away with this!”

Jin Chanzi gave an indifferent smile. “The damage has already been done. If your Cangxuan Sect wants to come, then my Sacred Palace will welcome you.

“Also, I do not believe that the Chosen from your Cangxuan Sect will want to fight my Sacred Palace just because of a chief disciple.”

Jin Chanzi threw a glance at the collapsed building in the distance. His master had said that he did not care whether Zhou Yuan was dead or alive. In that case, it should suffice if he just brought back Zhou Yuan's body.

“Zhou Yuan is not the same as the others! Even if the other Chosen take the situation into consideration and don't do anything, someone will never let you go!” Tang Muxin said through gritted teeth.

She was naturally referring to Yaoyao.

Tang Muxin did not know how the other Chosen would react, but there was one thing that she was clear about, and that was that once Yaoyao found out about this, she would not care at all about the overall situation.

She would undoubtedly make Jin Chanzi die!

  And there was also Tuntun!

Jin Chanzi simply smiled without saying anything. Evidently, he did not attach any importance to Tang Muxin’s words.

Tang Muxin drew a deep breath and hurriedly turned to the rubble that had buried Zhou Yuan. She had to ensure that Zhou Yuan was still alive. Otherwise, if Yaoyao were to find out, she would no doubt flip the world upside down.

At this time, the other chief disciples also reacted and followed after her figure.

Jin Chanzi smiled at this scene and had no intention of stopping them. He was very confident in his previous attack because he had not held back. Given Zhou Yuan’s strength, it was impossible for him to have survived.

  “Zhou Yuan!”

Tang Muxin and the others came to the rubble. Activating their Genesis Qi, they lifted boulder after boulder.

And just when Tang Muxin and the others were anxiously preparing for the rescue, a voice suddenly rang out, “Stop calling...”

They froze, staring at the rubble in front of them in disbelief. Was there a problem with their ears?

“It seems to be Zhou Yuan’s voice?” Jin Zhang said hesitantly.

They exchanged glances of disbelief. They were well aware of how powerful Jin Chanzi’s attack was and that his attack had struck Zhou Yuan directly. Even if his physical body was stronger than that of others, it was still impossible for him to have withstood such a strike.

  Bang!

While they stood bewildered, a boulder shot up from the rubble, and a figure covered in dust and dirt slowly stood up.

Tang Muxin and the others stared dumbstruck at the figure, their minds going blank.

They could see very clearly that, although the figure looked a little dusty, he was basically unscathed.

Zhou Yuan was completely unharmed after Jin Chanzi’s attack?

Not only they were stunned. Cries of surprise rang out one after another in the originally silent manor, and all eyes focused on the figure standing on top of the rubble.

  “How is that possible!?”

In the pavilion, the chief disciples of the four sects also couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise.

From Jin Chanzi’s attitude, it was obvious that he hadn't held back. So why was that figure still alive?

  Phew.

Zuoqiu Qingyu’s heart finally relaxed a little, and she sat back down. Clutching her chest with her little hand, she clenched her teeth and said, “This guy really did scare me.”

But soon, she also cast a surprised gaze on the figure in the distance. She was similarly puzzled as to why Zhou Yuan was still alive.

Under countless astonished gazes, Zhou Yuan gently dusted his body. He lifted his head and looked at Jin Chanzi in the distance with a smile. “Bastard with vertical pupils, your Sacred Palace only taught you to do this?”

In the distance, Huo Tian and the others were just as shocked to see that Zhou Yuan had survived.

Jin Chanzi was evidently taken aback, and the smile soon faded from his lips as he fixed his golden eyes on Z
hou Yuan. He said indifferently, “You’re still alive. Your life is really tough.”

Zhou Yuan twisted his neck, his expression indifferent. However, there was anger accumulating in his eyes.

He glanced down at his palm where drops of yellow liquid were slowly dripping onto the ground and vanishing without a trace.

That was the Dragon Saliva True Water that he had obtained from the Genesis reservoir ceremony.

It was an object with a strong defensive ability powerful enough to withstand a full-force attack from a Chosen.

In truth, Zhou Yuan also had not expected that Jin Chanzi would attack all of a sudden. It was in that critical moment that he had activated the Dragon Saliva True Water. Thanks to this, he had managed to successfully escape the calamity.

If it were not for the Dragon Saliva True Water, even if he had survived, he would most likely have been severely wounded.

In the distance, Jin Chanzi’s golden eyes could be seen blinking gently as he remarked, “But you are indeed interesting. No wonder you caught the attention of the above.

“Although I don't know why you could have escaped unscathed, I believe it's not your own ability. If I’m not mistaken, you have a protective treasure on you. Am I right?

“That kind of thing should have a limit, shouldn't it?

“So even if it could save you once, can it save you twice, or even ten times?”

Jin Chanzi smiled as a stream of astonishing jade-green Genesis Qi slowly rose from his body. An oppressive Genesis Qi pressure swept across the manor, causing a look of fear to cross the faces of all the chief disciples present.

Jin Chanzi’s voice was filled with boundless killing intent. It was evident that the failure of his previous attack had infuriated him, so now he intended to really attack.

Zhou Yuan naturally felt the dangerous aura emitting from Jin Chanzi as well as the bone-piercing coldness flashing through Jin Chanzi's eyes. But he was not afraid. Jin Chanzi was indeed strong, but it wouldn’t be easy to kill Zhou Yuan if he was on guard.

“You’re not going to run away?” Jin Chanzi couldn’t help smiling when he saw that Zhou Yuan was still standing where he was. “In that case, go die.” He strode forward and was about to strike.

The moment he stepped out, however, his body was suddenly frozen to the spot. He sensed an extremely dangerous wave of energy, one that made his skin immediately tighten.

He slowly lifted his head, looking toward a nearby stone pagoda. It was as if he was watching a great enemy descend.

There, a remarkably stunning maiden dressed in a cyan robe stood against the wind. Her graceful body and beautiful face were dazzling, but her clear eyes were fixed on Jin Chanzi, devoid of emotion.

Her red lips slightly opened, and an icy, bone-chilling voice slowly came out.

“You, you want him to die?”

There was a subtle, almost imperceptible anger in her voice...

  Chapter 608 Yaoyao Appears

  “You...want him dead?”

When the icy, bone-chilling voice came out from the red lips of the remarkably beautiful maiden standing on the peak of the stone pagoda, the temperature of the whole manor seemed to suddenly plummet.

That chilling intent was enough to make countless people tremble. They turned to look at the beautiful figure with their eyes wide open with terror.

  “Who is it?”

“From the pattern on her sleeves, she should be someone from the Cangxuan Sect, but I have never heard anybody dare to speak to Jin Chanzi like that. She must be a Chosen of the Cangxuan Sect, but I haven't heard that there was such a person among the seven great Chosen of the Cangxuan Sect. Moreover, among them, only Li Qingchan is a woman, and she is also remarkably beautiful. But that’s not her.”

A murmur of voices discussed the identity of the woman, but many people were filled with puzzlement. After all, Yaoyao had not entered the Chosen List of the Cangxuan Sect, so many people were unfamiliar with her.

  “Yaoyao!”

Although other people were unfamiliar with her, Zuoqiu Qingyu wasn't, and she leapt to her feet on the pavilion. Her beautiful eyes stared at the elegant and beautiful woman on the peak of the pagoda.

One of the chief disciples of the Hundred Flowers Fairy Palace couldn't help but ask, “Qingyu, who is she?”

The shock the cyan-robed maiden brought with her appearance was not small. Although not everyone could detect an incredibly strong fluctuation of Genesis Qi from her, the dangerous aura her body emitted wasn't considered weak when compared to Jin Chanzi's.

“Her name is Yaoyao, and she’s also from the Cangmang Continent. She has a very good relationship with Zhou Yuan,” Zuoqiu Qingyu replied.

“She’s also from the Cangmang Continent?” The chief disciple of the Hundred Flowers Fairy Palace was taken aback. “What about her strength?”

Zuoqiu Qingyu explained, “Yaoyao is incredibly mysterious, and I don't know her true strength, but she is the strongest among us. Even Zhou Yuan is not as strong as her.

“That Jin Chanzi has run out of luck now.”

Chief disciple Liu Fu of the Heavenly Ghost Sect interjected, “Are you joking? Jin Chanzi is ranked in the top five of the Chosen List, and there are only a few Chosen who can defeat him.”

Zuoqiu Qingyu, however, simply gave him a sidelong glance and did not care about his opinion at all.

“I'd like to see what she could do to make Jin Chanzi’s luck run out.”

“Yaoyao?” When Zhou Yuan saw her familiar figure, he was also taken aback for a moment, but then his face lit up in a wide smile, and he hurriedly waved to her enthusiastically.

But Yaoyao just swept a glance over him and withdrew her gaze, upsetting Zhou Yuan a bit.

He knew that Yaoyao had witnessed the scene of Jin Chanzi sneakily attacking him and that she was now displeased with him for being too careless.

Ignoring Zhou Yuan, Yaoyao shifted her cold eyes onto Jin Chanzi.

Jin Chanzi also focused his attention on Yaoyao. He recognised her because he had previously fought against the Chosen from the Cangxuan Sect and knew that Yaoyao was new to the sect.

It was just that Yaoyao rarely fought; however, the mysterious little beast that followed her was extremely fierce, and his fighting strength was not inferior in any respect to that of a Chosen.

“So it’s a Chosen from the Cangxuan Sect. You came so quickly, but since you have arrived, it seems that I won’t have a chance to teach that boy a lesson. The matter ends here today.” Jin Chanzi smiled.

With that, he strode over to the Sacred Palace’s side.

His body, however, had only just moved when a sudden gush of invisible Spirit power whizzed towards him.

Cyan Genesis Qi came whistling out of Jin Chanzi’s body, forming a halo around his body to forcibly suppress the invisible Spirit power. His body trembled ever so slightly.

“Who says the matter is over today?” Yaoyao shot him a piercingly cold glare.

Jin Chanzi also stared back at Yaoyao with his golden eyes, sneering, “Oh? Don’t tell me you still want to fight me? The various sect Chosen are all trying to conquer the Great Mythic Mountain Range. We are at peace with one another, do you want to break this harmony? You want to make all parties fight again and miss this great opportunity?”

Yaoyao frowned. “That opportunity, what does it have to do with me? And what does it have to do with me if you don’t get it?”

Jin Chanzi stared at her blankly. He was known to have an unpredictable temper and to do whatever he wanted. However, he did not expect the shockingly beautiful maiden in front of him to act with so little restraint that even the greatest opportunity in Mythic Utopia seemed to weigh nothing in her eyes.

“What do you want to do?” Jin Chanzi uttered coldly.

“I said, since you want him dead, then you will die first.” Yaoyao dropped her gaze, but a gush of Spirit power erupted from between her beautiful brows.

  Boom!

  The entire ma
nner shook violently, and countless people gazed with fear at the ground quaking and splitting apart. Countless boulders rose into the air, as if wrapped together by a gigantic hand, and formed a tremendous, round sphere.

Its shadow shrouded half the manor.

  Swoosh!

It hurled downward, its surface covered with Spirit power. Even the air boomed with the sounds of explosion.

Jin Chanzi’s pupils shrank, and he acted right away. He clapped his hands together, sending out cyan Genesis Qi. It directly transformed into a huge palm as it soared into the air.

  “Hand of million poison!”

Around the Genesis Qi palm, poisonous qi rose with a pungent odour.

  Boom!

The two forces fiercely collided, causing the entire manor to shake violently as if the sky was collapsing. The shock waves struck the manor and instantly flattened everything.

Countless figures were miserably blasted away, landing everywhere.

They gazed in horror at the centre of the collision.

There, the beautiful cyan-clothed maiden was still standing on the peak of the pagoda, and in the distance, Jin Chanzi’s body was reeling backwards from the impact, his face slightly gloomy.

In the corner of his eye, there was even a trace of blood.

“Such strong Spirit power!” Jin Chanzi said gloomily. Although he had shattered the giant sphere, the Spirit power it contained had still relentlessly bombarded him to the point his mind throbbed in pain. If he hadn’t neutralised the impact with Genesis Qi quickly enough, even his spirit would have been wiped out by his opponent’s Spirit power.

This scene drew gasps of astonishment from the crowd around the manor. No one had thought that Jin Chanzi would be the one at a disadvantage.

The cyan-clothed maiden was that terrifying.

Zuoqiu Qingyu couldn’t help but click her tongue in amazement. She then took a glance at Liu Fu of the Heavenly Ghost Sect and smiled. “What do you think?”

Liu Fu’s face was utterly pale as he stared at Yaoyao in shocked horror. He gave Zuoqiu Qingyu an embarrassed smile, and he dared not utter another word.

Even Jin Chanzi couldn’t deal with her, so a grasshopper like him shouldn’t think about leaping about, or he would be easily crushed to death. Given his understanding of the Chosen of the Heavenly Ghost Sect, they absolutely would not avenge him.
