*They’re almost annoyingly perky but fun to hang out with if you’re in the right mood.

*A harplike thing that Apollo usually plays day and night. It really bothers many of his god neighbors.

*The sun was stubborn and stayed where it wanted to until the hunky and powerful Apollo rode his chariot by and demanded the sun set or rise.

**His loving virgin twin sis who spent her days getting out her frustrations by killing wild beasts.

*In essence the god hell. It’s an ugly, dirty, abominable place, unfortunately ruled by the dastardly evil three, the Furies.

  * A hairy high school boy, who may or may not have been controlled by the Furies, who in book 1 used my sister for her artistic genius only to humiliate her on open-mike night by stealing her song and discrediting her honor. We then stole his memory.

  * This happened once before—the summer of 756 B.C. at the Oracle Hall. Dionysus had thrown the wildest party. Gods and mortals and monsters attended, and after a little too much sweet ambrosia Thaumas the Monstrous threw up. Well, that sight, a hideous creature throwing up mountains of white puffy crème, sent the entire party into a vomiting fit. The Oracle Hall was never used again, but from that day forward it was nicknamed the Vomitorium.

*Winged chick demons pretty much responsible for all disease and death.

  * Half men, half goats who mostly hang out with my wild and crazy cousin Dionysus.

  * A seriously evil girl with snakes for hair and eyes that can turn you into stone.
