No hesitation, no holding back, no wondering.
I was kissing Cabe, the man I loved, and it was pretty freakin’ awesome.
I heard the countdown begin on the television and pulled my mouth away on the 3, 2, 1. “Happy New Year, Cabe.”
“Happy New Year, Ty.”
“Oh, I think it will be. It may be my best year yet,” I said, smiling as he pressed his lips to mine once again.
And that’s all I’m gonna write for now.
