I didn’t know until the last page how this book was going to end. I debated and I went back and forth on how many books to give these two. But really, it’s not my decision. It’s theirs.

What they’ve told me is they’ve said everything they needed to say. I feel it and I’m proud of them. I’m proud of this book.

I’m not saying we won’t see Trent and Drew again. We will. But perhaps not in their own full-length novel.

I feel like it’s time for these two to just be happy. To have all those moments Trent wants to have. I think we all know it might not ever be easy for them in some respects, but that just makes their happiness that much sweeter.

It’s a beautiful thing for people to be happy when sometimes life gives them reason not to be.

I can’t say this book turned out the way I thought it would. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going in. Although, part of me expected more racing, more cars, and maybe more Joey. But as I said above, it’s not my decision. It’s theirs.

Trent and Drew’s main focus was each other. They can’t really move on to the things they want in life until they know where they stand with each other. They are the foundation on which everything else sits. Because of that, I feel like this book is relationship heavy. It focuses a lot on them and how they deal with being in love.

There isn’t as much racing in here as in #Junkie, but I do still think it has that flavor. I am right now considering a book for Lorhaven and maybe one for Arrow (who, by the way, totally wormed his little way into my heart in this book). If those books come to fruition, they will focus a lot more on racing.

And of course, there will be romance…

I think for right now, I’m going to kind of revel in Trent and Drew. In their story. In their love. I never set out to write a book about two men who fall in love, let alone two books.

  I’m so glad I did.

I think they might be my favorite books I’ve written. I’m proud of these books and of these two men. They will forever have a special place in that deep spot right behind my heart.

I hope you enjoyed this book and feel it did justice to these two. I have to say the feedback for #Junkie is overwhelming. I have never had so much feedback (all good, too!) so fast with any other book. The fact that so many of you were willing to give #Junkie a try even though this isn’t your normal genre means more to me than anyone will ever know.

I’ve cried a lot of tears over your emails and reviews and messages.

It shows me how capable people are of acceptance and open-mindedness.

Saying thank you just doesn’t seem like it’s enough, but really, I have no idea what else to say. So thank you for reading these books and for loving Trent and Drew like I do. I may not have hit lists or made it a bestseller,
but I got something better.

  I got your support.

  See you next book.

  XOXO,

  Cambria
