The Goblin King's Lovers Page 7

“Making my prince happy, as usual,” Lorne said with a wide smile as he moved through another open doorway and into a bedroom. Davin sat on a lounge chair by the window looking out, and before he could rise, Lorne had knelt before him, balancing Eva on his knee.

She blushed as they both gazed at her. She’d never seen Lorne look quite so happy and thus felt a bit stunned. Davin reached out to take her hand.

“You’ve come early,” Davin said. “We expected you later.”

“And I didn’t expect to be delivered like a present,” Eva said, looking back and forth between the two of them.

“I couldn’t help myself,” Lorne said, leaning in to kiss her.

She gave in to the passionate embrace, his mouth insistent and his tongue even more so. When she felt lips on her neck as well, she tried to pull away.

“I haven’t even said anything yet!” she protested, though half-heartedly.

Davin put a finger under her chin. “You aren’t exactly running away.” He kissed her, his lips as soft and gentle as they had been before. They parted, and he smiled at her. “Give us your answer then.”

  “Y-yes. I’ll marry you.”

They both kissed her in turns, smiling happily. And then, just inches from her face, they looked into each other’s eyes and kissed. Eva felt her temperature rise, blood rushing to her face. All of her fantasies faded away as she watched them look into each other’s eyes, their mouths meeting hungrily.

“Mmmmm.” Her eyes went wide as the sound escaped her lips.

They both looked at her as she clapped her hand over her mouth, and she felt very self-conscious about watching them. Davin kissed her forehead.

“Do you like what you see?” he asked.

She nodded, as there was no reason to deny it.

“Would you like to see more?” Lorne asked softly.

She wanted to, but her nerves made her hesitate. “You both know I don’t know what I’m doing,” she whispered.

Davin made her look at him again. “Lorne and I have never been with others, never even kissed anyone but each other, until you. We loved learning together, and doing the same with you will be a beautiful thing.” He smiled, almost looking shy. “You’re forgetting that, in a way, we’re virgins too. Neither of us has ever been with a woman.”

Eva paused, nodding slowly. “I’d never considered it. I suppose you’ve been together so long there was never a chance.”

“We were both free to do as we pleased,” Lorne said, “but we never wanted anyone else.”

She cleared her throat. “Davin says you never made love until a week ago.”

“That’s right,” Lorne said, “but needs were met.” He eased her onto the lounge chair beside Davin and then sat on the other side of her. “We’ll go speak with the king. The wedding can take place as soon as you like. There’s one other thing to clear up though.”

  “What?” she asked.

Davin answered, “You don’t have to be a virgin when we marry. It doesn’t matter here the way you’ve said it did in your world.”

“This is my world now,” Eva said, caressing Davin’s cheek.

He smiled and grasped her hand, kissing it. “We’re glad to hear you say that.”

“We want to know what you want,” Lorne said. “Will you come to our bed before the wedding, or do you wish to wait?”

Eva hadn’t given that any thought either. She’d assumed etiquette would make that decision for her. “That’s a weighty question.”

“Then we won’t press you,” Davin said, rising and pulling her up. “Think on it. We’ll go tell my father. He’ll be so happy.”

Eva smiled, knowing that was true. “I never expected to be queen of the goblins.”

Lorne rose and stood on her other side. “You’ll have many titles. Queen of the goblins, ruler of the golden realm, shining star of the Elari, mistress of the white sun.”

“Goodness!” she said, laughing. “That’s a mouthful.”

Lorne’s dark eyes turned smoldering. “You just wait, my queen,” he said, kissing the edge of her mouth.

Davin leaned in, his lips on her ear. “He won’t disappoint you, my love, and neither will I.”

She shivered between them, knowing she needed to take control. At least for now. She pulled away and took both of their hands. “I believe we need to see the king. Come along, you two.”

“Ordering us around already?” Davin asked jovially.

“Oh, she’s been doing that for years, she just never knew it.”

She smiled to herself as she turned and opened the doors. They were both at her side right away as she headed down the hallway. Lorne’s words hit home. They had been catering to her every wish for years, showing their love in so many secret ways. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that they had both been making her happy all that time. She wasn’t ready to say she loved them both, but the past week had definitely changed her thoughts on the subject. This world truly had become her home, and these two men were a huge part of that. Fate had done some strange things in her lifetime, but the elation she felt as they entered the throne room made her realize there was no longer any use questioning such things.

  Chapter Four

Eva smiled as Nika readjusted the flowers in her hair one final time. She smoothed her shimmering skirt again, still amazed how beautiful the dress was. She’d asked for simple, and the dress was exactly that, but the end product absolutely took her breath away. The gathered white skirt had silver threads sewn into it. These threads met here and there in little starbursts of stitching. The bodice was white as well, though of a sturdier material. The simple corset tied with a lilac ribbon. Her shoulders and back were bare, but Nika had given her the white lace shawl she’d worn when she married. Her eyes once again strayed to the ring on her finger, a beautiful silver rose holding a polished pink stone. They’d both looked so anxious when they gave it to her, as if they feared she wouldn’t like it. She’d laughed at their expressions and told them how much she loved it, how perfect it was.

Roses of every color had been woven into her dark hair, and now she sat waiting for Lorne to retrieve her. He would actually give her away, though the ceremony was very different here, since he would stay by her side during the entire ceremony. Then she would exit with both of her husbands, and their marriage would begin. Lorne would escort her to their bedroom and help her undress and take her hair down. She’d been alone with Lorne far more often over the years, but tonight would be very different. The care he had always given to Davin would now be extended to her as well, starting with preparations for the wedding night.

Imaginings involving Lorne undressing her filled her head as he entered the room. He wore dark blue silk robes, which he looked surprisingly masculine in. Davin would be wearing the exact same robes in green, the royal house’s color. The silk did little to disguise the toned muscles of his chest and arms, and a flutter of anticipation moved through Eva. Nika kissed her and left the room, grinning at Lorne, who smiled back.

“Are you ready?” Lorne asked, his voice so gentle.

“Yes.” She took his hand when he extended it and then laced her arm through his. “But I’m glad all I have to say is…” Her mind went blank, and she looked up at Lorne, biting her lower lip. “Oh good grief, can I just say I do if I forget?”

He chuckled. “I’ll whisper it to you if you forget. You say, It is my will.”

“It is my will.” She nodded. “Okay, I’ve got that.”

“Don’t be nervous, please. You look beautiful, and everyone’s very happy.” He placed his hand over hers on his arm, gazing down at her.

“I know. I’m just not fond of attention.”

They walked out of the room and toward the throne room slowly. “I’m sorry to hear that, as you’re going to get a lot of it from now on.” He caressed her fingers. “Starting tonight.”

  She nodded but didn’t speak.

“And you needn’t be nervous about that. You’ll be in control
.”

“I’m not so sure, not once you two…” She let her words trail off.

“You will be, I promise, despite how hard it has been to be near you these past weeks.”

Eva had decided she wanted to wait until they were married to sleep with them, though she had wavered a few times as preparations were made. In her mind, waiting mattered, and their understanding had meant a lot to her.

“Has it really been so hard?” she whispered as they neared the throne room.

“Many things have been very hard,” he whispered back as the doors opened for them.

She blushed and gasped simultaneously as she took his meaning, and her blush only increased when she saw the people crowded into the throne room. And then her gaze found Davin, standing at the other end of the room waiting for her.

“Doesn’t he look handsome?” Lorne asked as they moved forward into the room and down the surprisingly narrow aisle.

Everyone smiled at her, and children threw flowers in their path as they walked by.

“Yes, he does.” She felt as if she was floating, and soon she stood between them. The king came forward and kissed her on the cheek before joining their hands. Eva crossed her arms, taking Lorne’s outer hand with her right and Davin’s with her left, and then they joined their inside hands beneath hers, their fingers brushing her stomach.

Eva only heard some of the words, all of her attention focused on the two men she was being bound to. Lorne squeezed her hand, and she managed to say the right words at the right time. Her new husbands kissed her, then each other, and before she knew it they were heading down the aisle again.

Lorne could tell Eva was still in a bit of a daze. As much as he wanted to undress her right away, he led her to a chair in front of the dressing table and began brushing her hair. He pulled each flower out and set it on the table, letting his fingers work through the curls as he gently brushed. He’d often brushed Davin’s hair when he was younger, and it struck Lorne now what an intimate and soothing exercise it was.

When his gaze landed on Eva’s face again, he found her looking up at him. He smiled and said, “I’ve always wanted to touch your hair. It’s so dark and lovely.”

“So is yours,” she said, toying with one of the roses before her.

Lorne put the brush down and knelt beside her. “I have to get you ready. Davin is with his father, recording our marriage and signing his name in the chronicle. He’ll be here soon.”

She nodded, her cheeks flushing. He turned her in the chair to face him and began unlacing the corset, pulling the ribbons completely out of each eyelet. He wanted to caress and kiss the swells of her breasts as soon as the garment began falling away, but he held back. He could hear her heart pounding as his fingers brushed her skin. The corset fell away completely as he pulled the ribbon free of the last hole, and he caught it in one hand. He gathered the ribbon and placed it on the table with the corset and then turned his eyes back to her.

Eva had shifted to let her hair tumble over her shoulders. She didn’t cover herself with her hands, but she hung her head so that her hair covered her. Slowly, he pushed her hair aside.

“You’re so beautiful,” he said, dipping his head to take one nipple between his lips. He sucked gently and then laved it with his tongue. He moved to the other, noting her accelerated breathing, and stopped just an inch from her skin. “I must prepare you in every way, of course, for Davin’s arrival. That includes calming your nerves any way I see fit.” He took the other nipple into his mouth, sucking more ardently this time.

Eva moaned and held his head gently, her fingers tangling in his hair. He reached around to untie her skirt and loosen it. Once the material fell open, he lifted her at the hips and pulled back. She stood and stepped out of the skirt, and Lorne licked his lips when he saw she wore nothing else. Brides were supposed to be naked under their dresses, but no one really enforced the rule. He gazed up at her, sure his need was clear on his face when their eyes met.

Lorne stood up and led her to the bed, making her sit on the edge. He disrobed quickly, casting each layer aside haphazardly. His eyes devoured her as he undressed, and she kept her gaze lowered until he was almost completely naked. She’d seen him shirtless before, but it had been a couple of years. She’d kept her gaze modestly averted then. Now her eyes moved slowly as she took in the sight of him. He stripped away the final layer and let her see his erection. She stared a moment and then looked up at his face. Coming off the bed tentatively, she touched his shoulders and let her fingers run down over his chest.

“You’ve always seemed so strong, even when we first met. You were so much bigger than I was.”

He cupped her face. “I didn’t understand why you disliked me, and I felt awful when I realized you were scared of me as much as anything else.”

“You’ve more than made up for it. I feel safe with you, both of you.”

He caressed her cheeks. “Davin and I are different, and we’ll love you differently, just as our love for one another is not exactly the same. I’m protective. It can seem possessive at times.”

She smiled. “You forget how well we know each other. I know what to expect.”

He raised one eyebrow. “Yet you didn’t know we loved you.”

Her smile faded, and she looked down. He kissed the top of her head. “Your heart will know itself in time. Just opening to me means so much.” He tilted her head back and kissed her, unable to resist her nearness any longer. He kept his hands on her face, and she began caressing his chest again. Being touched by her made him feel more alive than ever before.

Lorne eased her to the bed, making her sit again. He broke the kiss and trailed his lips down. “Have you ever pleasured yourself, Eva?”

“Y-y-yes.” The tremor in her voice fueled his hunger.

  “May I kiss you there?”

  “Mmmm.”

He looked up, his finger tracing the outline of the curls between her legs. He could smell her arousal, and it made him long to taste her, made him yearn for Davin to hurry and join them. “Is that a yes?”

She nodded, looking up at the ceiling.

He chuckled at her shy desire and pushed her legs farther apart. He leaned in as his thumbs parted the curls. She gasped when his tongue circled her clit, and he sucked the nub into his mouth, intent on having her ready for their prince. He moaned at how sweet she tasted. He pulled back just enough to look at her.

“I can’t wait to taste you on Davin’s lips, on his cock.”

  * * * *

Eva gasped, though silently this time, at the blunt words. Lorne bent his head and continued to lick and suck at her most secret area, and she arched to meet his mouth. She wasn’t even aware of Davin’s arrival until he was on the bed behind her, stripping his robes away.

“You two took my breath away when I walked in,” Davin said against her ear. He tilted her head back for a sweet, searching kiss. He pressed close enough for her to feel his erection. His cock didn’t seem to be quite as large as Lorne’s, but it still felt intimidating.

“He’s taking my breath away,” she said to Davin when their lips parted.

Davin smiled. “Yes, his mouth is amazing.” His gaze flickered down to Lorne, his eyes seeming to almost glow as he watched. “I’m glad he’s pleasing you.” He caressed her face the same way Lorne had, and she felt the love shining in his countenance. “I love you, my beautiful queen.” Their lips met again as Lorne’s tongue delved into her.

Lorne’s finger delicately massaged her clitoris as he licked her hungrily. She began to tremble, and then his mouth was on her clit again. Eva pulled away to look into Davin’s eyes as she came. Her spasms came faster and harder than when she’d made herself come, and she moaned as she leaned into Davin’s embrace. Looking at Lorne kneeling between her legs and feasting on her pushed her arousal higher. He gave her pussy one final lick and rose.

“You must rest now, my queen,” Lorne said as he joined them on the bed, both
men settling her in the middle of the mattress. “Our king needs attending to.”

Eva collapsed back against the pillows as Lorne and Davin moved closer to each other. Davin leaned in first and sucked on Lorne’s lower lip. He gave a sexy growl as he captured Lorne’s mouth and kissed him deeply. They toyed with one another’s cocks as they kissed. Still reeling from how Lorne had made her climax, she shifted to her knees and moved closer. She knew nothing about what she was about to do, but that wouldn’t stop her from trying.

Eva nudged her way in and licked Davin’s cock, then Lorne’s. Both men stopped what they were doing right away, which made her a little nervous, but she kept going as they inched apart. She suckled the head of Lorne’s cock and tasted the salty fluid on the tip. When she did the same to Davin, she noticed a different taste, slightly sweet. His skin was hotter as well. She took several inches and sucked.

Davin moaned her name and pushed into her mouth more. She drew away and did the same to Lorne, who actually shook as she laved and sucked him. To her surprise, he pulled away, but then Davin flipped her to her back. Davin settled between her legs and rubbed against her, not trying to enter yet. Lorne inched closer, and Davin’s mouth engulfed his cock. Eva watched with both arousal and interest as Davin performed felatio.

Lorne drew back and actually got off the bed, but Davin turned her attention back to him. “He’ll be back. Tonight, I want to be the one in the middle.” He rubbed against her more. “We have the rest of our lives to explore.”

“You mean, he’ll … while you…” She’d never considered Davin being the one to be shared, and the idea aroused her.

“Yes,” Davin said, kissing her neck. “Me filling you as he fills me. I’ve been waiting for this.” He repositioned her hips as they kissed slowly.

Lorne returned to the bed with a tin of salve, and he lowered to their side to kiss both of them before moving behind Davin.

  * * * *

Davin took a deep breath to calm his nerves as he rose above Eva. Lorne kissed his shoulder and whispered in his ear, “Just love her.”
