Just as my leg swings around I hear, “Go, Ansley, Go!” from Maddie.

I smile at her, give her a kissy face, and then I’m on the floor again. Cooper comes and squats down next to me as I sit there pouting.

“Beautiful, your ass is going to be sore, and I’d prefer it to be sore from my hand, not the floor.”

“No, Cooper I’ve fucking got this…you just watch me. I’m so good. Tell ‘em, Kenna, tell ‘em how good I am.”

“She’s good, you just watch her slide up and down that pole.”

“No one works a pole like Ansley can!” Maddie yells out.

“Yeah, listen to them, Coop. I’m good, like really good.”

Cooper chuckles, “Oh, baby, I know just how good you are,” while wiggling his eyebrows.

“Not in bed, Coop, I’m good on this pole.” I try to sound serious, but that just isn’t possible right now, so a round of giggles start. “Now let me show you.”

“I think I’ve seen enough. I’m thinking I don’t want you to give everyone a peep show either. Though I am willing to have one installed into our bedroom, if you want to perform at night for me.”

  “One more time, ‘K?”

I stumble to my feet, throw both hands around the silver pole, and then I try to jump up. At this point, I know what you’re thinking…of course; she’s going to nail it this time. That is also exactly what I was thinking too, but guess what? We are both wrong. My good idea, of trying to flip upside down, only lands me in hot water with the man that will be my husband. Yes, my dress flips up as I again fall to the floor, but in my defense there is a lot of alcohol in my system right now.

Cooper scoops me up, placing me on his lap. “Now, you will sit still.”

  “It’s all your fault.”

“How exactly is this my fault?”

“If you would have just believed in me, I probably could have kicked ass on that pole. But you didn’t think I could do it, and because of that, I had to keep trying.”

“Beautiful, you aren’t making much sense right now. So let’s leave it as I really want to see these moves you suddenly know how to do, but in private, okay?”

“I don’t care where I do it, but I’m gonna prove it to you, Coop. You’ll see, I’ll show you.” I try to get my point across by poking him in the chest.

“Again, I believe you, honey,” he says. Then he kisses the finger I still have pressed against his chest.

I dare to say that drinking and pole dancing doesn’t mix well with me.

  Cooper

I choose to slow down on tipping the beers back when I see Ansley is getting more than a touch tipsy. She’s my little spitfire when alcohol gets mixed with her feisty attitude. Lord, I’m not sure who I need to thank for the dress she has on, but she just about took my breath away when I first saw her.

Now I sit with her on my lap and feel myself hardening instantly, we can’t get home fast enough. Watching her try over and over again to swing around that pole was enlightening, but it would have been much more entertaining if we were alone and stone cold sober. I could watch her all day, okay maybe not all day, because I would be throwing her on the bed after a couple turns.

We are dropped off first, while everyone else heads back to Ryan and Kenna’s place to stay. As we pull up in front of the house, I’m not sure I am going to get her off the bus. She spends time saying goodbye to the girls, and then she hugs each of the guys individually, telling them thank you for taking me out and not getting me in trouble. I guess I get to be the bearer of good news and spill the beans about the strip club, as Ryan sits there laughing at me. Fucker, payback’s a bitch. There’s no way it’s coming back to bite me in the ass, so I’ll tell her before someone else does.

I must have let out a low growl when I see Maddie’s slimy boyfriend hug her a bit too long for my liking. As she pulls away, she turns to look at me smiling. She comes up and places a kiss to my lips before turning to wave one last time.

“Honey, did you growl at me back there?” she asks, as she dances her way to the front door, to no music, I might add.

“That fucker had is hands on you.”

“You looked like one sexy pissed off beast when I started to walk to you.”

“Oh, did I? Well, I WAS fucking pissed off.”

“No need to be jealous cause baby, I’m all yours,” she states, as I unlock the door and she walks in the house, lifting her dress over her head, throwing it backwards at me. She giggles as she glances over her shoulder at me when her dress hits my face.

I love the bolder side of her when she’s has a few drinks in her system. She’s always willing to try just about anything I suggest. She’s swaying her hips, still trying to walk in her heels, while wearing nothing but her barely-there thong. I’m not sure what she throws at me next but two, rubbery clear pads come flying through the air at me.

  “What the hell are these?”

She’s now having a giggling fit, she tries to talk in between breaths, “Pasties, you like them?”

“What do you do with them?” I chuckle back at her.

“They go here.” She turns, holding both her tits in her hands.

“Okay…” I’m not sure what else to say. She seems so proud of herself.

She takes the first step of the stairs, and I can’t help myself, I stop and watch her. Her long blonde hair is cascading down her back in curls, and I have to catch my breath at the sight of her. She is the only woman that has ever stopped me dead in my tracks; she’s nothing short of amazing.

Slowly, I start to move again, following her; my eyes are glued to her entire body. There isn’t one part of her that is better than the other. Her tiny frame is meant to wrap around me, which it soon will be, after I taste every inch of it.

Once I’ve reached the top step, she stops in the doorway and places her back to it. Her eyes are locked on mine as I remove my shirt and unbutton my jeans. Gliding her eyes up and down my body, she fixates on my button then bites her lip. I could reach her in two steps, but I let her get her fix in before I start to move again.

  “What do you want, Beautiful?”

“You,” she says, without moving her eyes away from my jeans.

“Not before I’ve had my taste first.”

“I think it’s my turn to go first.” The sound coming from her is nothing short of lust.

“I didn’t know we were taking turns.”

“Mmm, hmm and it’s mine.” She starts to take a step toward me, but I move quicker, placing her back against the wall, just outside of our bedroom.

My mouth takes over hers and she opens up for me instantly. The heat radiating off both of our bodies is electrifying while I start to make my way down her neck. Her hands drag through my hair when I take one of her nipples in my mouth. While my teeth slowly skim over it, she lets out a moan that only drives me to move down her body faster.

After her leg is over my shoulder, and she has screamed out my name at least once, I lift her up and carry her to the bed. I need to feel her cover my body from head to toe. The rest of the night is spent being immersed in each other, soaring over the edge together as we fall even more in love with each other.

When the sun comes up, the two of us don’t move until Ansley’s phone goes off with a whistle, notifying her of an incoming text.

“Ugh, really?” she mumbles under her breath while reaching for her phone.

Kenna: Hey there, lady, you alive?

  Ansley: Barely? Why????

Kenna: You have your last dress fitting today.

  Ansley: I know at noon.

Kenna: Yeah, well it’s ten thirty. Did you want me to come get you or are you driving here?

Ansley: Shit, it’s that late already?

  Kenna: Yes, girl. Lol

Ansley: Well, I guess I need a long hot shower and two Tylenol. Lol, not funny really.

Kenna: Yes it is. I’ll pick you up. I’m just about ready. Be there in about an hour.

  Ansley: K, sounds good.
Thanks! <3

Kenna: You got it girl. <3

Ansley lays her head on my chest while she is texting Kenna. As I read that she needs Tylenol, I immediately get up, grab a bottle of water and a couple of them for her. I walk back in just as she is setting her phone back down.

  “Take these, Hun.”

  “Thank you. I need them.”

“I know you do.” I laugh at her as she swallows them down.

  “Not funny.”

“No, actually you were. I think I need to inspect your ass for any bruises from last night, that pole got the best of ya on the bus.” I laugh again.

“Damn it, it’s a bit foggy, but I kinda remember trying to do that once.”

“Once? No, more like three or four times.”

“Oh, good God no.” She covers her eyes and lies back down on the pillow.

“Oh, yes, my love. You were pretty cute pouting the last time when you couldn’t get around the pole again.”

“That’s all the girls’ fault. If they hadn’t taken me to the stupid pole dancing class during the day, I wouldn’t have tried that at all.”

“Well, remind me to install one in here right away.”

“Sober, I could have probably done it. I was getting pretty good in class.” She giggles as she looks over at me.

“Then a pole you shall have.” I wink back at her.

“You’re a brat.” She throws a pillow at me as she gets up and heads to the bathroom.

  “Damn…nice ass.”

She looks over her shoulder at me and sees me holding back my laugh. Looking down, she notices what I do. As much as it is a fine ass, she now is the owner of two purple bruises, one on each cheek.

Reaching down she rubs them. “Ouch, they hurt too.”

Walking over to her, I squat down behind her and kiss each one. “There, all better.”

“Not quite, but you’re kisses always help. Now quit distracting me, I’ve got to get in the shower before Kenna gets here.”

  “I could join you.”

“Oh, no you don’t, or I’ll never make it to the fitting.”

“Fine, I’ll go start the coffee. I think we both could use a cup.”

  “Mmm, yes please.”

“Beautiful, if you make that noise again, I’m not going anywhere but in that shower with you.”

She darts off, running toward the shower, “MMMMMM,” giggling the entire way.

I take one step toward her, and she turns around, putting her hands up in my direction. “Stop, I was joking. Really, Coop, I need to get in the shower…alone.”

“You know better than to tempt me.”

  “I do,” she giggles again.

I head out the door before I change my mind. I know she’d never truly stop me from walking in right behind her. I’m in the kitchen for about forty-five minutes, looking over the race schedule, and answering emails that have been sent to me, when Ansley walks in and I hand her a cup of coffee.

We only get to talk for a few minutes when there’s a knock on the door. Ansley answers it and in walks Kenna, Maddie, and Josie.

“Thanks,” Maddie says, as she takes my coffee and sips. “Gross, who the hell drinks it straight black?”

“That would be me, that’s why it’s MY coffee.”

“Well here, you can have it back for God’s sake.”

She turns and picks up Ansley’s cup, taking a sip she smiles directly at me. “Yum, nice and sweet, like me.” I smile over at her, roll my eyes, shake my head, and she laughs. She’s like that bratty sister that you just can’t help but love. She’s been a big part of Ansley’s life and now is completely a part of mine too.

“Time to get going, ladies,” Kenna says.

They all grab their bags and walk toward the door. Ansley stays behind, leaning over, she gives me a kiss. I immediately deepen it, not pulling back until she does. She licks her lips and slides a hand over my day-old scruff before she turns, walking out, and closing the door behind her.

When the house is empty, I decide to shoot a text to Ryan and Jesse to let them know I’m going to get a ride in. It’s been a couple of days, and let’s face it, the Motocross season isn’t going to stop because I have a wedding happening. I’ve got only a week after the wedding to get my ass ready to go, so if I can get a practice in I’ve got to.

Me: Hey, I’m going to ride in about an hour at LACR MX.

  Ryan: I’m in.

  Jesse: I’m in too.

  Me: See ya then. Later.

  Ryan: Yep.

  Jesse: Sounds good.

I get to the track about fifteen minutes before the guys arrive. I get my bike off the back of the truck, set it on my stand, and grab my bag to get dressed. When I’m just about to pull on my gear pants, Jesse pulls up next to me. Ryan follows right behind him and parks his truck next in line. Both of them start by getting their bikes off and gassed up before they change to get ready to ride. All three of us kick start them at the same time, the helmets are slipped on, goggles are in place, and we are off to ride the open track before us.

It’s close to an hour when I head back to the truck. Throwing the bike back on the stand, I reach for the gallon water jug I brought. Within minutes, both Ryan and Jesse have joined me. We all get one more ride in before we call it a day. Just before we drive away, Ryan lets me know he’ll be over at eleven tomorrow to go for our tux fitting, while Jesse says he’ll meet us there.

My parents, as well as Ryan’s, will be arriving Wednesday then both our moms will be helping with the final touches for the wedding. Ansley asked for their input on things, which caused both of them to act like schoolgirls invited to their first party. I don’t know what they were more excited about, the seating chart, picking out their dresses, double checking on the flowers, or making sure that the venue was ready to go with everything on Saturday. Oh, and don’t forget the rehearsal dinner Friday night. I was informed by my father, he was taking care of that for us. Lord only knows what he may have planned.

  Ansley

Waking up on Thursday morning, I feel a bit anxious; I’ve got two days and then I’m going to be Mrs. Cooper Brewis. Wow! I’m missing my mom more this week than I ever have. She was supposed to see me get married. Because she’s not with me, today I’ve made a big decision, but I need to discuss it with Cooper first.

I roll over and lie on my stomach, grabbing my pillow, I prop myself up on it. Looking over at Cooper as he is just waking up, he couldn’t look any hotter. I take him in for just a moment, because I know he’s naked under the blanket laying low on his hips and showing just how cut he is. Perfect, there is no other word. The V is like a capital letter: it’s so prominent on his body that it makes me want to drag my finger along it.

  “Honey, are you awake?”

“I can be. What do you have in mind, Beautiful?”

“Get your mind out of the gutter.”

He rolls over and faces me, rubbing his hand up and down my back, he grins a naughty little grin. “Not my fault. You’re the one laying here with nothing on, and ‘you know who’ is standing tall, trying to get your attention,” he says, wiggling his eyebrows.

I swat his chest and tell him to focus before I start asking him the question that has been on my mind all night. I’ve been trying to decide if I walk down the aisle by myself, or if I ask someone to give me away. I’ve gotten close to Coop’s dad, since we are business partners at Hyped Energy, so I think he’d love it, but I’m also close to Ryan’s dad. Mr. Evans was a big part of our lives while we were growing up, so I think he’d be honored. Then there’s Ryan himself. He’s like a brother to me, but he’s also Cooper’s best man. Cooper gives me his reasons regarding all three. In the end, he tells me it’s my decision, and he’ll be happy with whatever I decide.

After showers and breakfast, Cooper is off to do a couple things he says he needs to take care before tomorrow night. He tells me, “It’s a need to know basis, and I don’t need to know…at least not right now.” Then he kisses my
lips until they are swollen and has me wanting more.

I am finally left alone to think, no future in-laws, no Evans family, and no friends. It’s just me, in our huge house, with nothing but the birds chirping while I sit on our back patio. I don’t want to listen to music or anyone talk right now. I need to hear my voice in my head.

A couple hours pass by, and I am still sitting here holding my empty coffee cup as the doorbell goes off. I drop my cup off in the kitchen sink on my way to answer the door. I know who it is because I sent a text a little while ago, asking this person to come over right away. I have something to discuss with them.

“Hey there, Ans, what’s going on, girl?” Leaning in, he hugs me tightly.

  “Hey, Ry. Not too much.”

“Really?” he asks, as he chuckles at me.

“Oh, you know what I mean,” I answer, while waving my hand in the air at him.

“Okay, so you wanted to talk to me?”

“Yeah. Do want anything to drink first?”

“No, I’m good, girl, spit it out. Is everything okay?” He slides out one of the kitchen chairs and drops down in it.

“Yes, everything is fine, but I want to ask you something. You can say no if you don’t want to do it, but I’m hoping you say yes.”

“If you want me to do it, then I’ll do it. No worries, girl.” He grabs my hand, squeezes it, and smiles at me.

“Good, then you’ll tell Coop that you’re going to be my man of honor and stand by my side?” I say it with a straight face too, which only adds to the intensity of the moment.

“Say what? Lord, I can’t tell him that, Ans. You know he’ll freak the fuck out.”
