The Warden of the Castle Page 15

by Claudio Hernández

And even so they counted to three and in unison they raised strongly the cover of solid wood that at first became heavy but that later it opened with a turn of hinges.

"It's a coffin!" Shouted Tom, putting his hands to his head while his eyes glittered in the single ray of sunlight that illuminated him.

Inside was a huge figure, who seemed to be a man of much more height than the conductor of the hearse and the mischievous entrance of another ray of sun, less intense illuminated the face of that man who was still for the moment and the boys saw him Alarmed.

His face was pale, straw-colored perhaps, his eyes closed, and at the corners of his lips two large, sharp fangs gleamed beneath the mischievous mischievous light of the sun.

Then she opened her bloodshot eyes and the three of them began to scream in unison like an ambulance siren. And they came out of there terrified with the shit stuck in the ass. The old wooden steps creaked under their rabbit leaps, they went outside. They ran to the bushes and rode their bicycles that pedaled at high speed that late August morning, with panic in their bodies.

When they reached Sheriff Bannerman's office, sweaty and with their sullen eyes, they knew only one thing.

"There's a vampire in that old abandoned house, sir..."

Bannerman wanted to take four hit pills for the headache.

Outside, the storm under a cloudy sky hid the sun's brightness and the wind kept howling hard. The wolf did not cry that dawn. Meanwhile, the guests moved in unison, the squeaky chairs and were withdrawing one by one without a word. It had been a long, frantic night for the watchman, who was left wondering if he had done well this time. He had an Ace up his sleeve. Next time, the next night, I would start with the story "Hold on while you breathe."

“Until next time!” Cried the watchman, raising one of his thick hands. I have a very interesting story to tell you at the next meeting ...

When he had said this, no one was left there except the empty table with its red silk tablecloth and empty chairs.

“Mom!!!” The cry of a poor creature bounced all over the walls of her bedroom and pajamas, her mouth had turned into a grotesque O and had her hands on her head. His eyes, dilated, watched the dead animal. Churchill is dead!

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I grew up and started writing upon being heavily influenced by the master of terror and drama, Stephen King. I am the author of his first biography as a writer. Furthermore, I have written an anthology based on a box that I had found that allegedly belonged to his father, who was also a writer. Now, I have dedicated my time to writing books of terror, suspense, and thrillers. In Amazon, I have already published my books, ‘The Beginnings of Stephen King’, ‘Stephen King’s Box’, ‘Tom’s Story’, ‘Infected’ a saga about zombies, ‘Midnight Fear’, ‘All Your Life at Your Side,’ ‘Arnie’, ‘Truck cemetery’, ‘Seven Books, Seven Sins’, ‘Bonmati’s House’, ‘The cold Winter’, and ‘The guardian of the castle’, but these are not the only ones that I intend to publish this year.
