“Hey handsome,” a young lady strolled up to him as soon as Andrea walked away. She wore a short blue dress exposing her full cleavage. She extended her manicured hand, “Nicole and you are?”

Samuel was flattered watching the young lady. She looked like she was around Andrea’s age. He shook her hand, “Samuel,” someone entering the club caught his attention and he forgot he was shaking her hand. He swallowed when his eyes met his wife’s. His heart started racing within seconds from seeing Zara enter the club. She was fucking gorgeous, her hair was down the way he loved it with a black rose on the side, and the clothing she was wearing made his dick jerk. Zara was sexy as hell; his lips crawled up into a naughty smile. Nicole squeezed his hand making him look back at her. His wife had him mesmerized that he literally forgot that he was speaking to the young lady; Sam released her hand now looking at her. “Apologize about that.”

“It’s okay,” she smiled exposing her pearly white. “You have a beautiful accent. Where are you from?”

Sam decided to have a little fun. “Puerto Rico.” His accent wasn’t as strong as when he was a kid. He and Zara had come a really long way since the day they met. They had their up and downs but at the end they always had each other’s back.

“My Mother is Puerto Rican,” she revealed. He wondered if she knew he was probably her parent’s age. “Do you want to dance?”

“No,” Zara voiced glaring at the young lady. Her full luscious lips thinned staring at him. Andrea was right behind her mother with the same look on her face, and her hand on her hip.

“Excuse me,” Nicole’s eyebrows met in confusion. “I wasn’t asking you.”

“You are excused, go, run along.” Zara waved her French tips fingers and stepped between him and Nicole. He loved the jealous side of his wife, Sam was laughing on the inside.

“I would love to dance,” Sam said with a smirk on his lips. He went to move and Andrea grabbed his wrist.

“You’re not dancing with this skank,” Andrea mean mugged Nicole. “He’s a happily married man. Show some respect.”

Nicole darted her gaze between Sam and Andrea. “Oops, I didn’t realize he was married, my bad.”

“How did you miss this?” Andrea took his left hand and pointed at the gold band with three diamonds.

Her eyes widened staring at the piece of jewelry. “Your one lucky woman.”

Andrea smiled, “My mother is one lucky woman, right mom?” She winked at her mother. Zara crossed her arms over her bulging cleavage.

“Oh, he’s your dad.” Nicole mouth dropped agape staring at Sam. “I’m sorry,” she said to Zara. “You look very good for your age,” she sashayed away into the crowd.

“What the hell was that?” Zara voiced.

Samuel shook his head, and picked up his glass off the table. “You finally found time for me.” He took a sip of the drink.

“I’m sorry,” she went to take his hand in hers and he pulled away. “I’m here, the night isn’t over Sam.”

“How could you forget our fucking twenty-fifth anniversary?” He raised his voice. “If it were me you would’ve chewed my ass out. I guess work has become your husband.”

Zara didn’t say anything she just stared at him, her eyes shined from unshed tears.

“Mom,” Samantha rushed over wrapping her arms around her. “Happy anniversary!” Samantha yelled, and then she turned watching him. “Dad, come on. You two have loved each other over thirty years, so she forgot one anniversary think of all the ones she did remember. I remember every anniversary having to go over mom’s friend’s house because she was preparing a candle light dinner for just the two of you. I wondered why we had to leave the house, and now I know, the thought of what you two did is so gross. I bet Zoe was an anniversary present nine months later. So… kiss and make up, because there is more to come.”

  Eighteen years ago

Samuel had come home from a long day at work. He sent Zara roses for their seventh anniversary. He had another surprise for her, it sat in the driveway. She’d been asking for a new car for years but they couldn’t afford it until now. When he entered the house, it was dark but he could see lights flickering from the backyard. His lips lifted up in a smile.

He made his way through the rooms to the back of the house. Samuel opened the sliding door and stopped dead in his track when he saw Zara dressed in a sexy little black dress sitting at a candle lit table with the roses that he’d sent her in the middle. She always seemed to take his breath away. There were Christmas lights all around the screened patio.

“Happy anniversary,” she raised a glass of champagne in the air, but her smile didn’t meet her eyes. She must have been waiting a while for him, because after work he went directly to the car dealership to finish purchasing the SUV.

He strolled over to her seat, and gave her a peck on her lips. “Happy anniversary Z. This is nice,” he sat in front of her.

“I called your command and they said you left a while ago,” she said taking a sip of her champagne. Zara never called his job unless it was an emergency. She was making sure the timing to her surprise was right. Those fools, he told them what he had planned, why the hell didn’t they just tell her he was busy?

“I bet it’s delicious,” he said uncovering his plate. She made arroz con gandules and pernil. “My favorite,” he squealed like a little kid picking up his fork.

“It’s cold,” she placed the glass down and stared at him. “Where were you?”

“I had to take care of something,” he said taking a bite of his meal. Samuel would eat the food cold if he had to, she went through a lot. “This is delicious babe,” he said continuing to eat.

Zara crossed her arms over her chest. “Should I be worried?”

  Samuel chuckled, “About?”

“Why it took you two and a half hours to get home?”

“Really Z,” he placed the utensil down. “Why didn’t you call my phone?”

“I was trying to surprise you.”

“You did,” he got up and extended his arm. “Let’s dance.”

“There’s no music,” her smile finally reached her mesmerizing eyes.

“We’ll make our own music,” Samuel took her hand in his, and she stood. They started to sway from side to side. “My secrets are your secrets Z,” he whispered in her ear.

She laced her fingers behind his neck, looking up. “I just wanted this evening to be special.”

“It is,” Samuel caressed the side of her face. “Every moment with you is special. Close your eyes.”

“Why?” She touched the buttons on his uniform.

“Trust me,” he covered her eyes with his hands, knowing that she would peek. He led her through the backyard to the front of the house. “I hope you like red?”

“You know red is my favorite color.”

He dropped his hands, and Zara’s eyes widen as she bit her bottom lip, staring at her brand new red SUV with a big white bow on the top.

  “Happy anniversary baby.”

She twisted around and jumped into his arms. “Thank you!” Zara showered him with kisses.

“This is what I was doing, the last two and a half hours,” he chuckled gazing at his sexy wife. “Go check it out.”

Zara went over to the car and open the door, touching the leather and all the buttons. “It smells new,” she excitedly said. “You are getting more than some tonight.”

Samuel chuckled loudly. That’s the night they conceived Zoe.

Sam loved his daughters, the things that came out of their mouth. Samantha was right, this was the first time Zara forgot any special occasion, but he didn’t want to give in so easily. He stared at his wife. She is his world, he would fucking kill for her. No matter what happened earlier that day, nothing would change how he felt about his queen.

“Dad,” Andrea called him. “Please try to enjoy tonight.”

“Ladies!” the DJ said into his microphone. “It’s ti
me for amateur night. Do we have any twerkers around?” A few ladies in the crowd yelled. “Come on ladies, the winner gets five hundred dollars.” He hyped the crowd making the place go up in roar. “Ladies five-hundred dollars to shake that monkey.”

Samuel smirked gazing at Zara. “I’ll forgive you under one condition.”

“Oh no you don’t,” she shook her head. “Really Sam?”

“Yes,” he ogled his wife from top to bottom. “You have the moves. I’ve personally enjoyed them.”

“Dad!” Andrea spoke up. “I know you’re not trying to get mom to participate in that twerking contest.”

“Why not?” Samantha chuckled. “Mom can dance, and if this makes him happy then so be it.”

“Samantha are you crazy too,” Andrea twisted her head. “That’s our mom,” she pointed.

“Zara what’s it going to be?” Samuel leaned against the banister. “You win and all is forgiven. You have music running through your veins.”

“Don’t do it mom,” Andrea grabbed her wrist. “You know dad is going to forgive you regardless. He can’t live without you.” Zara took Samuel’s drink and gulped it down and then turned grabbed Andrea’s out her hand and knocked back that drink too. “Mom you’re too old to be doing that.”

Sam chuckled, “You’re going to let her say you’re too old. Come on baby show them what you’re working with.”

He didn’t miss the twinkle in Zara’s eyes. She licked her lips, “If me shaking my ass for a bunch of horny men pleases you then I’m game.” She went to walk off and Sam gently grabbed her upper arm.

“You’re dancing for me,” he whispered in her ear inhaling her fragrance. “I want everyone to see that age is just a number.” Sam kissed the sensitive skin right under her ear. “I would never make you do anything you don’t want to, so if getting on that stage makes you uncomfortable then don’t do it.”

Zara smiled and winked at him strolling over to the stage as the DJ started playing Back That Ass Up by Juvenile.

“We have another contestant,” the DJ said as his wife climbed up to the stairs with the help of the bouncers. There were seven women on the stage a few already started dancing.

“Dad,” Andrea said disgusted. “I can’t believe you ask mom do get up there.”

“Stop being such a prude Andrea,” Samantha began walking, “I’m going to support her.”

“Your mom is having fun,” Samuel commented before following Samantha. “Isn’t that what tonight is all about?” He made it to the front of the crowd, Sam didn’t like the way some guys were staring at his wife ass.

The music stopped. “Okay ladies” The DJ said walking behind them. “These are the rules, when I say go all of you will turn around and start twerking. The crowd will pick the winner. Ready?” Shake That Monkey by Too Short started playing, “Go!”

All the women started shaking what God gave them but he only had eyes for his wife. Zara got down in a squat position, placing her hands above her knees and began popping her booty outward. Her ass shook back and forth, moving her hips from right to left. Zara bounced her ass up and down, getting lower and in an unexpected move she placed her hands on the ground and began wining. His wife got down on her knees and the crowd went wild. He chuckled, his dick was hard as a rock.

“That’s my mom!” Samantha yelled pumping her fist in the air. “Go mom!” Some of the people in the crowd turned surprised.

“That’s your mom?” A dude asked.

  “Yes,” Samantha proudly said.

“Damn!” The DJ voiced into the microphone going behind Zara staring at her ass. “I think we might have a winner,” he said watching her ass rebound. Samuel swallowed and then clenched his jaw. Why the fuck was he standing right behind her, if he touched her he was going to fucking break each of his fingers.

Zara twisted around and gazed at Samuel making him harder. “Just for you,” she mouthed and then stood straight and the flower in her hair dropped on the floor as the other younger girls continued.

The music stopped. “Damn ladies,” he said looking at Zara. “Let’s see who won.” He went behind each woman and the crowd went crazy, and then he went to Zara.

She started chanting with the crowd and waving her hands up and down.

“Yeah! That’s my mom!” Samantha yelled.

“What?” The DJ asked surprised. “You have a daughter over twenty-one?”

“I have two daughters over twenty-one,” she said out of breath. “Forty-three looks good doesn’t it,” she twirled around and the crowd went crazy. Zara grabbed the microphone from the DJ. “Happy twenty-fifth anniversary baby,” she pointed at Samuel.

His heart skipped a beat. Being married to Zara is the best thing he’d ever done. He raised his hand. Everyone in the club yelled “happy anniversary!”

The DJ placed his hand over Zara’s head, and the crowed screamed. “I think we have a winner,” he took Zara’s hand in his and lifted it. Samuel smirked, the other girls were complaining. Zara didn’t really win, the girl next to her had too much damn energy but the DJ and the crowd gave it to her because of her age and their celebration.

“Congratulations,” he kissed her hand. “Don’t be jealous,” he chuckled looking at Sam. “You have a beautiful wife,” he handed Zara five-hundred dollars. “Buy yourself something nice.”

Zara waved the five hundred dollar bills as she made her way down, and Samuel strolled over helping her down the stairs. “I won.” She wrapped her hands around his neck. “I love you baby, I’m sorry.”

“I love you.” Samuel gave her a feather kiss on her lips. “Damn woman where did you learn those moves?”

She grinded her body against his feeling his arousal. “From you. I’m I forgiven?”

“What do you think?” Samuel took her hand and laced her fingers with his and they walked off the dance for. “I can never be mad at you for long,” he kissed her knuckles. “And you look gorgeous.”

“Mom do we get a cut?” Samantha smiled, “I mean it’s because of us that you came out.” She batted her eyelashes.

“Andrea, what were you saying about I’m too old?” Zara shook her head, and handed them each a hundred-dollar bill. “Your momma still has the moves,” she began swaying from side to side.

Andrea stared at her. “Thank you,” and handed her a drink.

Zara took it, and took a long sip. “I needed liquid courage.” Samuel watched the interaction between his wife and daughters.

“Well our job here is done,” Andrea said. “Have fun.”

“Don’t stay out too late,” Samantha chimed in. “Love you guys.”

Samantha and Andrea waved their hands with a grin on their face on the way to the exit.

“Why waste the moment?” Zara started dancing. She bounced her ass to the beat of the music, and Samuel followed suit. They danced the night away until they were both dripping with sweat. This is what they were missing, the fun of being a married couple. Their girls knew them so well, Sam was reminded of what life was all about laughter and family. By the end of the night they were both tipsy.

“There’s a hotel across the road,” Samuel pointed at a Travelodge on the other side of the street. It wasn’t a four-star hotel, but it looked cleaned. “Think we can make it?”

Zara chuckled. “Yep,” she looked both ways and took off running in those high heels. Samuel shook his head his wife was a bit clumsy; he didn’t want to spend the night at the ER because she twisted her foot.

He ran behind her and picked her up over his shoulder making her giggle. Samuel smacked her ass. “You owe me an anniversary blow-job and since you forgot our day, I get to add a little something.”

“Like what?” She rested her head on his back.

“I’m not sure yet,” Samuel kissed her ass. “We’ve tried everything throughout the years, but I will come up with something creative.” Every anniversary they did something new in the bedroom. They tried everything once, played games and role playing was their favo
rite.

Zara’s laughter echoed through his body, “We even tried anal, never again.”

He remembered that night clearly. “You were screaming and I didn’t even touch you yet.”

She leaned up placing her hand on his back pushing up. “It wouldn’t have worked out,” Zara chuckled. “The toys are an added pleasure.”

“It’s a shame we can’t make it home tonight,” Sam spanked her ass again.

“Whatever we do will have me screaming your name Papi,” Zara twisted her head kissing his neck, his arousal pressed hard against his zipper. “Remember the first time I tried to swallow.”

“You almost threw up,” Samuel shook his head. “I’ll pass on that one.”

“I wasn’t expecting it.” Zara covered her mouth with her hands laughing. “I’ll do anything to please you. Please forgive me.”

He got serious, placing her on her feet after crossing the street, and she cupped his face in her soft hands. “Where would I be without you?” Sam asked.

“You will never find out, you are stuck with me for life,” Zara got up on her tiptoes and kissed him. “I’m so proud of you.” she caressed his jaw. “Look at how far we’ve come,” her lips curled into a smile. “We even have a grand-daughter. I will not change a minute that I’ve spent with you.”

“Woman you are,” he devoured her mouth, tasting of liquor and mint. Their tongues played a game only they were familiar with, and then he sucked on her bottom lip, “my forever.”

  Chapter Six

They got a room on the first floor. Samuel opened the door for Zara like he always did. The room was simple with two nightstands on each side of the king size bed. Vinyl cream and white curtains hung loosely from bronze rods above the window. A flat screen TV was mounted above the brown dresser, and dark shaggy carpet that appeared new covered the floor. Zara stepped into the room and the first thing she did was take off her heels, her feet had been killing her since she slipped them on. The things women went through to look sexy. She sat on the soft bed, sinking into the mattress and massaged her left foot.
