by William Gladstone

Their romance was interrupted by the gravity of her pregnancy going awry. She had been made aware of Dr. Sha by her mother, who had always pursued spiritual teachings. Desperate but without any real faith in Dr. Sha’s abilities, Erica had an initial emergency phone consultation, followed after Zakary was born with a personal visit with Dr. Sha in Vancouver. Erica continued to have consultations with one of Dr. Sha’s teachers, Master Sher, and was directed to do forgiveness practices and to listen to Dr. Sha’s chants. She also played soul healing chants through her smartphone directly to Zakary, placing the music on his head. Even with the tremendous progress Zakary has made there is still worry that he may not totally heal. Erica has faith in Dr. Sha and feels that Dr. Sha’s direct intervention is the most powerful healing possible. Just as this book was being completed, I received an e-mail from Erica stating that the most recent MRI on Zakary is all clear.

Addictions are almost impossible to “cure” medically. There are many wonderful treatment programs for the drug, alcohol, food, sex, gambling, and related addictions that are destroying tens of millions of lives daily in America and throughout the world. In another video clip you meet twenty-five-year-old native Coloradan Steven Pointer, who reports that for the first time in years he no longer has a craving for marijuana or alcohol after just a single group soul operation and single interaction onstage with Dr. Sha at a retreat held in Colorado in April 2013.

I caught up with Steven a year after the intervention to get details on his experience and his progress.

“It’s been more than a year and I have not touched a drop of alcohol or smoked any marijuana since my healing with Dr. Sha. This amazes even me, as I was a hard-core stoner.

“For at least the previous five years I had smoked weed every day, sometimes four or five times a day. I had also been a daily beer and whisky drinker, often getting wasted three or four times a week. I was able to hold down a job waiting tables at P.F. Chang’s, but my relationships and life were a mess. My aunt, who is a psychotherapist and into spirituality, had turned me on to Dr. Sha’s books and in October of 2012 invited me to attend a two-day workshop. I was kind of into the I Ching and meditation, so the book did resonate with me, but that did not change my addictions. In fact, I was a skeptic, and the first time I heard Dr. Sha speak I felt he was ‘far out’ and hard to follow. At the same time I believed in the general principle of forgiveness and the idea of karma, so when my aunt suggested that I go to that retreat in October of 2012, I was open to going.

“The October retreat was scheduled for a two-day weekend and I had already made plans to go to a concert the Saturday night, so I did. I got wasted as usual with both weed and alcohol at the concert, but even with a hangover felt positive energy from the Sunday session. I was still addicted after that first retreat but with my aunt’s encouragement was motivated to attend the April retreat. Besides, I had consulted the I Ching and was given the strongest possible affirmation that I should attend. When Dr. Sha did a soul healing operation for the entire group the first day of the retreat, I felt dark energy leave my body. That night for the first time in several years I slept soundly and did not crave either weed or alcohol before going to bed. The next day Dr. Sha asked me to go onstage. This was huge for me, as I had never wanted to admit I had drug and alcohol problems. I had gone to AA for an entire year off and on but had never stopped drinking and smoking weed for more than six weeks. That group soul operation did the trick. I am sure the karma cleansing with Dr. Sha the next day is why it stuck. I have not had any craving since and now realize that it was depression that was driving me to drink and smoke. With the help of Dr. Sha’s exercises I am getting a handle on my depression and intend to use what I have learned to help heal others. My former drinking buddies wonder what happened to me, and I am amazed myself, as alcohol was all around me at the sushi restaurant where I used to work but I have no cravings at all. Recently I have gotten a new job doing yard work and painting. Perhaps a year is too short a time to call this a miracle drug and alcohol addiction healing, but the experience continues to be a miracle for me. My life is now my own.” You can continue to follow this miracle at soulhealingmiracleshealingaddiction.blogspot.com.

As a registered nurse Brenda Gartner had received the best of care. She understood the medical profession and had access to the best doctors and hospitals. In 1999 she had had a sports injury that damaged her knee. She had been in constant pain for more than a decade. She could not even kneel down. With a single soul mind body transplant from Dr. Sha, she could for the first time in twelve years kneel again. For her it was a miracle healing that no traditional medical doctor or operation could have equaled. This is how she describes her experience:

My Miracle Healing to Left Knee by Master Sha

I had played softball most of my adult life, first in high school, then college, then through my work recreationally. In 1999 I was playing a game one evening and played my usual position on first base. A batter for the other team, a large-frame Hawaiian male, hit a swift ball up the third base line, where my teammate snagged it and whizzed it to me on first base, hoping to put the batter out. I jumped into the air to catch it, only to have the runner come and plow my legs out from under me. I dropped immediately to the ground in severe pain. Even though I worked in the ER at the time, I did not seek medical attention; instead I was feeling better three weeks later and again went to play ball one evening. This time I was the batter, and immediately on hitting a homer way out into the field, during the twist to hit that ball I again felt instant pain to my left knee. This time my knee instantly filled with fluid and ballooned to twice its size. That night I went straight to the ER where I worked and was sent to see a specialist the next day who immediately scheduled me for surgery. The surgery proved not one but two significant injuries: a medial meniscus tear and a severe ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) tear. There was a complication following the surgery and three days later I had to return for a second operation, and within the next ten years, yet two more surgeries. It came to a point in 2009 where I was told that I had no more cartilage in my knee and that I would need a knee replacement but that I was too young and would have to tough it out until I was older. There were not many days when I was not in some kind of pain . . . varying from irritating discomfort to limping because the knee would lock and grind from the result of bone on bone. I was also not able to bend that left knee anymore, making it very difficult and almost impossible to kneel in church each Sunday. In 2011 I was blessed to receive a soul mind body transplant and sphere for my knees from Master Sha, and immediately the pain was gone and I could kneel for the first time in twelve years! I did have a little locking over the next two days . . . and so Master Sha gave me one more healing a couple days later since we had been attending a workshop he was giving in Honolulu, and by the third day—no more pain of any kind, which is the way it has remained to this very day. I am so thankful to Master Sha for this miraculous healing.

Shammi Aunty is a renowned Bollywood star in India. She suffered from deafness and wore hearing aids for more than twenty years. She lived in Mumbai. A few years ago Dr. and Master Sha wrote ten weekly articles to introduce his soul healing for the Speaking Tree, a supplement to the Times of India. One day Shammi Aunty read Master Sha’s article. The article introduced a sacred divine code, 3396815, offering soul healing. At that moment she had stomach pain and thought she would give the code a try. She said, “Dear 3396815, please heal my stomach pain. Thank you.” This is the technique of Master Sha’s teaching, the Say Hello technique. It is so simple. Shammi Aunty chanted “3396815, 3396815, 3396815, heal my stomach pain.” In a few minutes, the pain suddenly disappeared. She was so surprised and said, “In my life, every time I have stomach pain I have to take pills. This is the first time the stomach pain disappeared without pills. San San Jiu Liu Ba Yao Wu (3396815, pronounced sahn sahn jeo leo bah yow woo) removed my pain. I am extremely grateful.”

Then she came to one of Master Sha’s events. Master Sha
gave her soul healing in addition to acupuncture. She recovered from twenty years of being deaf. Master Sha met with her two times more over the next the next few years. Her hearing was still in good condition.

In the video Dr. Sha is standing behind her and asks her how she is. She does not respond. She cannot hear a word. Dr. Sha stands in front of her so she can read his lips and has her lie down and keep her mouth open and shut her eyes. Dr. Sha does a powerful transmission that in this case includes the application of a single acupuncture to her ear. The entire process takes less than a minute. After it is complete Dr. Sha asks her while she still has her eyes shut and cannot read his lips, “How are you?” The actress responds, “I’m okay.” Again a miracle. After what she describes as “a very, very, very long time” she can hear again. She is joyful and grateful.

An amazing and well-documented indication of Dr. Sha’s ability to perform miracle healings is the story of John Chitty. In 2010, John was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer that had metastasized to his lungs and bone; his initial PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen, a primary marker of specialized inflammation; any score above 4 is considered to be a problem.) score was sky-high at 266. The diagnosis was confirmed and documented by tests including biopsy, MRI, X-ray, and bone scan. His doctors said he was not a candidate for radiation, surgery, or chemotherapy because the cancer was too widespread. Cancer was frequent in John’s family, including both parents and both grandmothers, further complicating the prognosis. The only medical approach available was hormone therapy, to try to buy time. Because of his beliefs about alternative health, John intentionally did not ask for or receive a prediction about longevity, but the doctors emphasized the extreme danger of the condition.

At the invitation of a friend who knew of Dr. Sha’s work, he attended a free public meeting and received a soul healing session from Dr. Sha. The next day his urinary symptoms were greatly reduced. He followed Dr. Sha’s recommendations including practices described in the Soul Healing books and attended a ten-day retreat for additional care. A month after the retreat, just four months after the 266 test result, his PSA score was down to 1.

When the next round of testing was performed six months later, X-rays showed that the lungs were clear; previously the images showed “nodules too numerous to count.” A bone scan showed that the bone inflammation was minimal. An MRI showed that the prostate cancer had shrunk, both inside and outside the organ. The doctor reading the 2011 X-ray, comparing the image to ten months earlier, not knowing that chemotherapy had not been used, wrote on the report, “It appears that chemotherapy was effective.”

I spoke with John and he explained some of his background. He graduated from Princeton University in 1971 and married Anna, also a Princeton graduate, in 1973. They raised two children, both now adults. They pursued careers as holistic therapists, focusing on the strong interdependence between mind and body. They became teachers of holistic health and in 1992 established a vocational school for alternative therapies that continues today. Three years after the start of his cancer adventure, John finished writing a book entitled Dancing with Yin and Yang, which describes how Taoist (from China) and Ayurvedic (from India) energy principles can be applied to psychotherapy. Dr. Sha is appreciatively cited several times in the book.

John was already a firm believer in esoteric health ideas (such as mindfulness, karma, and reincarnation) that are foundational in Dr. Sha’s teachings and methods. He had studied meditation with a guru from India since the late 1970s and he found Dr. Sha’s methods entirely supportive and compatible, as well as being immediately effective for cancer.

John describes his encounters with Dr. Sha with great enthusiasm and gratitude, as follows:

“I was in despair about my prospects when I went to that first meeting, involved both in intensive research about alternative cancer strategies as well as putting my affairs in order. I had no idea about what to expect, but my friend told me to raise my hand if Dr. Sha asked for volunteers for demonstrations. When the opportunity came I responded immediately. First he helped several others with various ailments, with good results each time. Finally at almost midnight he called me to the front. The treatment was entirely new to me, with chanting and hand gestures, apparently invoking resources from what I would call the invisible world. There was minimal actual physical contact but I could feel Dr. Sha’s kindness, presence, and power as being extraordinary.

“That first night, I felt elevated by the treatment, but I didn’t sense a specific effect until the next morning, when I discovered that my urinary symptoms of frequency and flow were greatly reduced. They never returned.

“During that first treatment Dr. Sha encouraged me to come to his ten-day retreat the following week, and he graciously made it financially possible. He clearly understood the gravity of my situation, and I could feel his sincerity in wanting to help me.

“I received another treatment from Dr. Sha during the retreat on the last night at three in the morning. Maybe he was saving the toughest case for last! I benefitted enormously from that treatment and really from the entire ten days. In addition to Dr. Sha’s daily teaching, all of his assistants were superb, each in their own way. That retreat changed my life.

“Now, almost four years later, I feel well and I have no symptoms. In retrospect, cancer has been a gift, a wake-up call to perform at a higher level in my life. I continue my many alternative anti-cancer strategies (including strict diet, herbs and supplements, oxygen therapy, hormone therapy, and others), and continue to have tests periodically, but clearly I am no longer near the edge. I am a better person because of Dr. Sha and his teachings. I credit Dr. Sha for the creation of my book, not only in that I survived to make it happen, but also in that his example emboldened me to expand to a higher level of service to my students and clients.

“My appreciation for Dr. Sha continues to grow. The kindness and generosity that he demonstrated are truly models of what the healing arts should be. His dedication to service and the consistency with which he practices what he preaches are profound inspirations. His mission is not just about health, it is about empowering us to truly reach our full potential by paying close attention to ‘what we think, what we say, and what we do,’ and to do our best to attain the high standards that he exemplifies.

“Dr. Sha is truly a potential miracle for anyone who is open to his message. His work is a serious endeavor, to be approached wholeheartedly. Tao practices require focus and commitment. With my life at stake, I had extra motivation. I still use his internet resources and books. I play his music at low volume in the space where I do my cancer therapies and in the area where I sleep, so that I am constantly immersed in his Tao wisdom. I take every opportunity to attend when he or his representatives come to town, and he has treated me additional times in these events. Every time I see him, my next PSA test scores are immediately and dramatically better.

“As a last comment, I am convinced that Dr. Sha’s methods can be beneficial for anyone. My story may be more drastic in some ways, but I think that the essential common ground for healing is universal. Anyone who is willing to take responsibility and really follow the instructions he provides so abundantly can have the benefits.”

What we realize in analyzing these miracle healings is that something very special is happening. Dr. Sha may have learned traditional Chinese energy healing, but what he is doing is simply beyond any recorded results from these traditional forms of healing. Other healers report similar successes, but none of them have been able to document their actual success rates to the extent that Dr. Sha has. Even more amazing is how Dr. Sha is able to include the patient and his students in the healings. Zakary’s mom acknowledged that the healings for Zakary included healings from Dr. Sha’s disciple Master Sher. Dr. Sha had provided an initial blessing before Zakary was born and had done additional remote soul operations, karma cleansings, and divine treasures when Zakary was one year old, but that was the extent of his direct contact. Zakary’s mom followed throu
gh with forgiveness practices and working with Master Sher. John Chitty had two healing sessions with Dr. Sha but also took the responsibility to follow through with forgiveness practices that Dr. Sha feels are essential to long-term stability and maximum health.

Dr. Sha’s emphasis on self-healing baffles the mind. What does he teach that is so special that the patient him- or herself can essentially become his or her own healer? I wanted to learn more. I wanted to know if Dr. Sha might ever have a case where a total skeptic had come to him and been healed despite a complete lack of belief in any spiritual connection of any kind, without a belief in even the existence of a soul, let alone a belief in the possibility that every cell in the body has a soul.

Even Skeptics and Non-Believers Can Be Healed

ONE OF THE criteria that I have wanted to establish in my due diligence of Dr. Sha is whether or not belief in Dr. Sha is a requirement for healings to be successful. So many of the two thousand individuals who appear on YouTube and with whom I have met personally seem to almost worship Dr. Sha that part of me has attributed Dr. Sha’s effectiveness to the fact that these people believe so strongly in his ability to heal that the healing takes place just on that basis alone. As an anthropologist I have studied the scientific literature that documents that belief in the healer is the single most important component in predicting successful therapeutic outcomes. This does not mean that healers who have a high degree of adoration and trust from their clients are not successful healers. It just casts doubt on whether their healing techniques are scientifically replicable and valid for the general population.
