Past Sins (West Haven book3): Protector, Action Romance Page 12

by Rhonda Lott

“I am home only in your arms. I live for the sound of your laughter. Your heartbeat gives me so much joy it’s unbelievable, my Gabby girl. I would no sooner leave your loving arms than slit my wrist. I. Love. You.” Elliot choked on the last words, so he took her lips, pouring every emotion he had into her. He pulled back and gazed into her shocked, tear washed eyes. “That’s right. I love you to death and back. West Haven gave me sanctuary and peace, but you Gabriella, you gave me life. My heart and soul were dead things inside me until the day I met you. No place, no matter how extravagant would be home if you’re not there.”

Gabby grabbed him by his shirt and kissed him breathless. Her nails dug into his back and her breast pressed hard into his chest. The depth of emotion that clouded them shook him.

“Oh, El.” Gabby gasped. “I love the hell out your ass too, and I lied before.”

Elliot frowned, “what did you lie about?”

“I wouldn’t let you go without drama. Nope, I’d act a damn fool if you wanted to leave me. There would be tears, a little begging, but most definitely a hell of a lot of fighting. I’d fight to keep you and if you did go. I’d turn mercenary on your ass, stalk you, and put a bullet in your… I don’t know, your foot or something.” She smiled and poked his chest.

Elliot squeezed her tight, chuckling under his breath. “Oh would you now, Trigger Woman?”

“That’s right. I’m a badass female death bringer, or um, foot pain bringer.”

They both laughed. Laughter was a stranger to his home, but it felt good, damn good.

Elliot stood, picked her up and spun her around. His lips latched onto hers just to taste her laughter and it was intoxicating. He felt unbound, unburdened, and for the first time in a very long time, happy.

It was strange and a bit unsettling. When Gabby tugged him in for a nip of his lips, one emotion rose above them all. Need. He needed his Gabs right then and there.

  **

Who said you couldn’t have it all. Her valiant knight with oil stained hands and her tiny cottage castle. Gabby felt like she was in a fairy tale. Elliot was her imperfect Prince Charming, well Prince of Darkness more like it, but he was all hers.

He wanted to stay in West Haven and make a life with her. Not that a life in West Haven would be as beautiful as Paris or as exciting as New York. It was cold as hell half the year, nothing in the way of entertainment, and tucked beneath the mountain where only the bravest traveler could find it. Yet, it was home. Quaint and beautiful, quiet and peaceful, resilient and welcoming was their home. Here she had everything she’d hoped for. She had her bar and her friends and now she had the birth of a new life with Elliot.

Gabby’s breath left her as Elliot tossed her over his shoulder and headed for the bedroom. His determined steps eating up space and his muscles bulging against his shirt. She felt overwhelmed and a bit breathless by the pure power and beauty of the man carrying her as if she were more precious to him than gold.

“Damn you’re strong, make sure you don’t pull a muscle I might need later.”

Elliot grunted, “What you need is a long, nasty fuck and that’s just what you’re gonna get. An all day, sweaty, dirty, fuck of your lifetime. After watching Pierce hold a gun to your head and thinking I’d have to watch you die before my eyes, I have to reaffirm you’re here with me.”

Gabby helped him as he pulled her pajama top off. He groaned when her breast were revealed. Gabby shivered at the sound and her tightly budded nipples tingled. Elliot took her hand and placed her fingers on her nipples.

“Here play with them a sec.” He instructed.

Gabby double blinked. “Play with them?”

“Yes, please, I’m going to be a little busy down here.” He pushed the pajama bottoms down, sat her on the edge of the bed, and spread her thighs wide. Elliot took a careful inspection of her girly bits. Gabby’s face grew hotter and hotter the longer he stared down there.

“Beautiful.” He breathed, ran kisses along her thigh, and then stroked his tongue along her opening.

She hissed through her teeth, threw her head back and pinched her nipples hard. Pain and pleasure traveled down to her core. Heat pulsed over her entirely. Gabby lifted her hips, and pushed up on her toes. Elliot grabbed her ass and lifted her off the mattress.

Gabby reached down and ran a finger over and around her clit.

“Just like that, I love to watch you play with yourself baby.” He hummed into her flesh.

The vibrations made her toes curl. Gabby panted, body covered in goosebumps, hips off the bed. His big hands grasped tighter on her ass, holding her in place as he feasted.

She was fighting a losing battle. With his devilish tongue delving within her and her fingers plying her nub, her orgasm galloped towards her.

She twists and strained against him, crying out his name like a prayer. Gabby was so close, her release pressing down on her. She was gulping in air between moans, but she couldn’t seem to get enough air into her burning lungs. Elliot brushed her fingers away from her clit and flattened his tongue on her massaging, then using the tip, he flicked back and forth over the oversensitive bud. Gabby screamed his name as she thrashed, shoulders on the mattress, the rest of her stretched taut. Her body jerked hard as pleasure rolled over and over her in uninterrupted waves. Her trembling thighs locked around Elliot’s head. He didn’t seem to care, he kept on lapping and sucking at her through her orgasm. He placed a hard, wet kiss on her mound before joining her on the bed.

Gabby tackled him with her noodle arms. Elliot laughed and allowed her to take him down.

“I need to taste you now.” She twirled her tongue around his flat nipple eliciting a moan and a brush of his hand down her spine.

  “I’m all yours.”

Gabby wrapped her lips around the head of his cock. The salty, sweet flavor of him exploding in her mouth. Elliot fisted her hair, but didn’t press her down. Gabby sucked him down deep, his swollen head bumping the back of her throat, as she worked him. Gabby played with his sac, rolling her fingers and tugging gently.

“Gabby, fuck.” Elliot grated out through clenched teeth. He had both hands in her hair, hips rocking his shaft into her mouth. He fucked her mouth for another minute, before pulling out and flipping her onto her back.

“I want to come inside your pussy.”

Gabby wasn’t gonna argue with that. Her knees fell apart. Elliot wasted no time. There wasn’t slow teasing or careful positioning. Hell no, he had his dick wrapped in a condom and slammed home before she could take a breath.

The force of his hips sent her up the mattress and Gabby grunted. Elliot held perfectly still, his dick throbbing within her passage. Gabby bit down hard on his shoulder, arms tight around his back. Elliot felt huge, filling her, stretching her walls. Gabby couldn’t wait for him to decide to move, her hips took control, jerking up and down. She fucked his dick with wild abandon. Elliot chuckled above her.

“Here, let me give you what you need.” He pumped his cock in and out of her wetness.

The bed creaked and bucked under them as he plowed her deep and hard. His cheek against her cheek, he whispered filthy words to her, things so dirty Gabby felt her pussy clench and gush with each word. His pelvis bumped her clit on every downward plunge, shooting pleasure through her veins.

The hard rhythm he set was ruthless, his thickness, leaving no parts of her pussy untouched, his lips and teeth tugging on her hard nipples in time with his plunges sending Gabby over the edge. Ecstasy cascaded through her, so intense in its power all Gabby could do was hold on to Elliot’s broad back and ride out the pleasure.

  “Look at me Gabs.”

It was a struggle, but Gabby opened her eyes. His dark hair framed a face that was lost in the haze of lust. He wanted her watching and present in his final moments. Together in their love making to the very end. He was splendid as he took what belonged to him. Powerful thighs driving his pelvis as he thrust, then exploded within her. Elliot shouted her name, body hard a
bove her. His release sparked another round of tremors to roll fiercely through Gabby’s highly sensitive body.

Elliot rolled to her side and gathered her in his arms. Their breath was loud and rough, bodies coated in a fine sheen of sweat, and their hearts beat hard and fast as they recovered. Complete, whole, and loved, that’s what Gabby felt in those warm, hazy moments after giving herself totally to him. Elliot was stroking her back, giving her a soft kiss on her forehead and face every minute or so.

  “I love you my El.”

“I love you more my Gabby Girl.”

  EPILOUGE

The sign, written in crayon said “PRIVET PARTY”. Chris had done his Tia proud. The bar was closed early for their Christmas Party. Gabby placed a huge platter of turkey and ham on the impromptu dining table. Elliot had pushed a few of the bar tables together end to end and she’d covered them with her mother’s fancy tablecloth. Gabby observed the table, the sparkling decorations and the beautiful tree with dozens of strings of white lights.

Carter and Raven were handing out gifts. Everyone was excited, full of smiles and laughs. Chris ran around the adults accepting his multitude of gifts. Being the only child in their group, he was making out like a bandit. Jamison carried out a tray of eggnog and hot cider and started handing out drinks. He winked at Gabby and punched Elliot on the shoulder.

“Sure glad I didn’t have to kick your ass, young buck.” Jamison told Elliot with a laugh.

Funny how the two of them bonded after Jamison found out that Elliot had saved her, even after cussing him out for putting her in danger in the first place.

“You’re not the only one, old timer.” Elliot returned, wrapping an arm around Gabby.

Dean tapped a spoon on the side of his glass.

“Attention everybody, we’ve got an announcement to make.” He pulled Brook into his side and opened his mouth.

“We're getting married and I’m getting a brother.” Chris shouted out, jumping up and down.

The gathering as a whole laughed at Chris’ excitement and congratulated the couple. The women shrieked and rushed Brook. Gabby was so overjoyed she couldn’t hold back her tears. Brook and Dean were made for each other and now they would be adding a new life to their already happy family. They deserved happiness. Dean suffered greatly after the death of her sister, and Brook went through hell at the hands of her abusive ex-husband. The love they found with each other was well deserved.

Gabby slid her arm around Raven’s waist.

“Do you see what I see?” Gabby asked, gesturing towards the door. Cassie and Deputy Mitch, hand in hand, we're trying to make their escape unnoticed.

Carter grunted from beside Raven. “Is that going to be a problem?”

“Yes, I believe Mitch will have his hands full with my sister.” Raven shook her head. “School will be good for Cassie. She could use the time away, find out who she is. Mitch is being a sweetheart. Anyone with eyes can see he has feelings for Cass, but she’s nineteen and he’s twenty five. The age difference kinda bothers him.”

Gabby bumped her hip against Raven’s, “Those six years won’t seem so bad when she’s twenty three and he’s twenty nine, maybe by then he might get a handle on how to deal with her.”

“I hope so,” Carter pulled Raven into his side, “these sisters are a handful, believe me.”

“And you love it.” Raven pulled him down to her level and gave him a noisy smack on the lips.

Gabby laughed as she left them. Raven was a breath of fresh air for the serious Sheriff. She was his pixy, his soul mate and by the way Raven’s eyes sparkled every time she took in her Sheriff, Gabby knew her friend was deeply in love with Carter. He’d almost lost her to Jonas Morton, the town’s home grown serial killer, a few months ago. The same madman that tried to kill Dean and his family. Even with such a black start their love conquered evil. The other two couples here tonight had to battle their own demons to find their happiness, not so different than she and El. Love was worth the danger, worth the fight. In the end they all had emerged from the battle with renewed life and a promise of a bright future.

Gabby made her way towards Elliot and their guest. Her heart was overflowing with joy. It was time for them to make their own announcement. Elliot was standing next to his mom’s chair, Lidia turned to Gabby with a warm smile. Elliot’s mother was warm and welcoming to her. Gabby felt as if she was a part of their family from the moment they met.

“Are you ready?” Elliot asked her.

Gabby nodded. “Elliot and I have an announcement to make as well.”

The room fell silent. Elliot went behind the bar and brought back a framed picture and held it up for everyone to see. The picture was of a three year old boy with black hair and sad brown eyes.

“This is Kyle. He lives in an orphanage in France. His mother was an important person in my life, she died recently and he has no family to claim him. Gabby and I have made plans to adopt Kyle.” Elliot told the group.

Gabby slid up next to him. “That is if they accept our petition.”

Lidia rushed them and hugged Gabby. “I can’t wait to meet him. You two will make wonderful parents. And I am not going to even ask when the wedding will be.”

  “Mom, please.” Elliot groaned.

“What? I said I wasn’t going to ask.” She shot them both an expectant look, then shrugged and moved aside for the others to congratulate them.

Gabby accepted hugs and Elliot handshakes. Chris wanted to know when he would meet his new cousin.

“Time for dinner.” Gabby announced after the ruckus settled.

Elliot pulled her away from the others. “I didn’t give you your gift my Gabs.”

“I have another gift?” Gabby smiled. He’d already given her a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. “What is it?”

“It’s in your old apartment.” Elliot put her coat around her shoulders and then shrugged into his leather jacket.

Gabby turned to the table. “Start without us, we’ll be right back.”

They took the snowy steps and entered her apartment. All of her things were now at Elliot’s cottage except for the furnisher. Gabby had plans on renting out the space.

Once inside, Elliot flicked on the lights. Gabby gazed around but couldn’t find any present.

“So where’s my—” a bark sounded from the kitchen.

Gabby couldn’t believe her ears. Another bark and she was skidding around the island. There in a basket with a bow around its neck was the most adorable chocolate brown, floppy eared puppy she’d ever laid eyes on.

“You bought me a puppy!” Gabby couldn’t contain the excitement in her voice. She rushed over and lifted her puppy into her arms. He yelped and licked her face as she nuzzled him to her cheek. She fell instantly in love.

“A girl’s best friend. You’ve always wanted a dog and I plan on giving you everything you want or need.”

Gabby placed the puppy on his mat and went to the man of her dreams. Elliot wrapped her in his strong embrace.

“You are all I will ever want or need. My El. They once named you Death Bringer, but to me you’re the bringer of life. Before you I walked through life unfulfilled. I believed that happiness and family was for others. You’ve given me a future to look forward to. A child of our own, a new mom, family and friends, and love.” Gabby gazed up into his dark eyes. “Thank you. I love you my El.”

He kissed her for a lingering moment. “I love you more my Gabs.”

Gabby smiled. He squeezed her tighter. Outside the window snow started to lightly cover West Haven, her puppy barked and growled in the background, and her extended, wonderful family awaited them downstairs. Safe in the hands of her dark and dangerous, Trigger Man, Gabby couldn’t wait for their future to begin.
