Creepin' 2: A New Orleans Love Story Page 17

“I think we should get married,” Tre said out of the blue.

“Boy please, we’re barely back together,” Mia laughed.

“Don’t say that Mia. We are back together or at least that’s what you told me.”

“Okay, let me rephrase that. We’ve only been back together for a few days, and you’re talking marriage already. Von doesn’t even know that we’re in a relationship.”

“Yeah, but he needs to. It’s been two years. Exactly what are you scared of Mia? Von loves both of us too much to not understand that we want to be together. What do you think he’s going to do?” Tre asked.

“I really don’t know. A part of me feels like he’ll understand, and we can move past this. Then another part of me feels like he’ll be pissed and want us to stay away from each other.”

“We both know that staying away from each other is not happening. I understand how you feel, but I still think we’re making a mistake by keeping him in the dark.”

“I hate this sneaking around stuff, but I’m really torn about what to do.”

“Don’t stress over that too much. We’ll figure something out,” Tre said rubbing her back.

“That’s not really what I’m stressing over. I graduate in three more months, and I still haven’t heard back from any of the schools that I applied to.”

“It’s only been like two weeks, Mia. You have to be patient,” Tre replied.

“I’m trying to be patient, but my nerves are all over the place.”

“Well focus on something else and stop thinking about it so much. You told me that you wanted to take a cruise after graduation, maybe you need to start looking at some places that you might want to visit.”

“I want to go somewhere like Jamaica or the Bahamas.”

“Okay, well start looking online at the dates that they have available. Do anything to take your mind off of worrying about your college applications.”

“I’ll try, but I just hope I hear from somebody soon. It’s crazy how I wasn’t concerned with going to college at first, but now that’s all I seem to think about. I’m not too worried about hearing from anybody else, but Dillard University is a must. That’s my first choice out of the three that I applied to.”

“Your ACT scores were good, so you’ll get in. You want to be an accountant, and that’s exactly what you’ll be,” Tre encouraged.

“You are too sweet,” Mia said as she leaned over and kissed his lips.

“Sweet enough to get a quickie?” Tre asked with a devious smile.

He didn’t give Mia a chance to answer before he pounced on her and started undressing her. Once she was naked, he eased out of his clothes and pulled Mia to the edge of the bed and dropped down to his knees. He was ready to dive in headfirst until Mia stopped him and pulled him up.

“Since you have a million people outside waiting to see you I’ll give you a pass today. No oral sex right now, but you have to pay me back later,” Mia smiled.

She stood up, pushed Tre back into one of the chairs that sat near his window and straddled him. She reached between his legs and grabbed his erection. Tre moaned as Mia slid down on him and slowly started to ride him.

“Awe shit,” he moaned as she opened her legs as wide as she could to receive as much of him as he was offering.

She was soaking wet, and he felt like it was about to be over before it really started. Mia started out slow and gradually picked up the pace until she was hopping on him like a rabbit. Every time Tre smacked her ass that seemed to encourage her to go even harder. He was biting his bottom lip hard enough to draw blood in order to stop himself from screaming out her name.

“You like that?” Mia asked while bouncing her fat ass on him.

Tre wanted to reply, but he couldn’t form the right words to say. He simply nodded his head to let her know that he was indeed enjoying everything that she was giving. Maybe it was the thrill of knowing that they were sneaking in a quickie while a yard full of people were there. Tre really didn’t know what it was, but Mia had him feeling like her bitch at the moment. Mia had locked the door, but he didn’t care if Von walked in on them or not. Nothing or nobody was going to stop him from finishing what they had started. When he felt Mia tightening her muscles and sucking him in more, Tre was damn near about to lose his mind.

“Shit Mia, I’m about to bust,” he yelled out.

Mia was trying to lift up before he released, but she was too late. Tre had a firm grip around her waist while he unloaded everything right inside of her. Mia wanted to go off on him, but she gave him a pass. The morning after pill was becoming her best friend, and she knew that she would be going to the drug store again in the morning.

“You good now?” Mia asked while kissing his lips.

“Hell yeah,” Tre breathed heavily. “You got me feeling weak and shit.”

“Get up and let’s take a quick shower. I can’t go back outside smelling like sweat and sex,” Mia said pulling him up. Tre followed her to the bathroom and hopped in the shower as soon as she turned it on.

About ten minutes later they were both fresher and dressed to go outside and mingle with the guest.

“You wanna go out first?” Tre asked Mia. “You’ve been gone for over thirty minutes, and it might look strange with both of us coming back out at the same time.”

“Okay,” Mia replied as she opened the door and peeped out to make sure the coast was clear. She was about to walk out when Tre grabbed her and pulled her close to him.

“Give me a kiss,” he demanded while crashing his lips roughly against hers and sticking his tongue in her mouth. They were standing right in the doorway of his bedroom, never once noticing that they were being watched.

“Yes indeed,” London drawled when she walked out of the bathroom and saw Tre and Mia in a heated lip lock. “I see Rainey wasn’t lying after all.”

Mia and Tre jumped, but they were happy that it wasn’t anybody of importance that caught them in the act. London was a nobody, and they could care less about what she saw. Mia already figured that Rainey had probably told her and Cheryl about what was going on between them anyway. After all, she yelled it out to Von when Mia was right there in her face.

“Girl, fuck you and fuck Rainey. Both of y’all thirsty hoes need to get a life. The nigga don’t want you. Let it go and move on,” Mia advised.

“I don’t want him either,” London lied. “Been there and done that. But you already knew that didn’t you?” she smirked.

Ever since the day that Mia saw her walking out of Tre’s bedroom she’d been itching to pop London right in her mouth. The comment that she made wasn’t much, but it was enough to get her an ass whipping. Tre saw the look in Mia’s eyes, but he was too late to stop her from pouncing on London. Mia had two-pieced London with the quickness before Tre even had a chance to hold her back.

“Baby chill,” he yelled as he pulled Mia behind him.

“You ghetto bitch! You got me fucked up,” London yelled, and got up and charged at her.

Tre was standing between them trying hard to keep them apart. Both women were throwing punches, and he was getting the majority of them all.

“London just go back outside,” he pleaded while trying to hold Mia’s wild ass back.

“Fuck you, Tank. I knew you and this nasty bitch were fucking all along. That’s why you never wanted to give me or any other woman a chance. You were too busy fucking your God-sister,” London screamed.

Tre was hoping that Von or somebody else would hear them and come help him keep the two of them apart. Since Lamar had his old school music playing the possibility of that happening was highly unlikely.

“You just mad because you gave it up, and he didn’t want your dusty ass no more. This is all me right here. Trust me when I say that he ain’t going nowhere,” Mia said while hitting Tre’s chest from behind him.

When Mia reached around him and grabbed at London Tre felt like he was in a game of tug of war. Mia
got a few good hits, but London somehow managed to grab a handful of her hair. Mia was swinging wildly, but London refused to let go.

“Let her hair go,” Tre said while trying to pry London’s fingers from Mia tangled mane.

“I’ll rip this shit right from her scalp,” London threatened.

Hearing her say that plus the pained expression on Mia’s face had Tre heated.

“I said let her fucking hair go,” Tre growled while untangling Mia’s hair from London’s hands and forcefully pushing her away.

London stumbled a little, but she was coming right back at him just a short time later. This time Mia was prepared. As soon as London got close to her she delivered a blow so hard that she went flying into the wall. She didn’t give her a chance to get right as she grabbed her shirt and started swinging on her once again. The two of them were like some wild animals as they hit and kicked each viciously. London was swinging, but she wasn’t hitting anything. Tre was getting short winded just by trying to break them up.

“Stop Mia,” Tre yelled while lifting his girl up into the air.

Mia still had a handful of London’s shirt causing it to rip around the collar and expose her cheetah print bra. London was still trying to come after her, but Tre kept pushing her back towards the back door until she was finally outside.

“Von!” Tre yelled getting his father’s attention.

Von saw what was going on and sprung right into action. Tre put Mia down to stand up on her own while Von tried his best to hold London back. As soon as Mia was free she was back at it once again. She grabbed a handful of London’s hair and continued throwing jabs to her face. Von wasn’t surprised that the two women were fighting, but he was surprised that it didn’t happen sooner. Cheryl and her nephew ran over followed by Moonie, Lamar, and Nina. Tre was finally able to pull Mia away, but London was still coming back for more.

“Girl you better chill the fuck out,” Tre said while forcefully pushing London back.

“Oh hell no, don’t be pushing on my daughter Tank,” Cheryl yelled.

“You better get this bitch before I knock her stupid ass out,” he yelled back.

“Bitch I wish you would hit my daughter again,” Cheryl said walking up on Mia.

Moonie was about to step to her, but Tre was going off before anybody else could say anything.

“Hold up Cheryl. You walking up on her like you trying to do something. I wish you would touch her. All of you bitches are about to see the other side of me out here,” Tre yelled angrily.

“Aye dude, don’t call my auntie no bitch,” Cheryl’s nephew said defending her.

That was all Tre need to hear, and it was over from there. He didn’t even know who the man was that was taking Cheryl’s side, but that didn’t stop him from hitting him hard in his face. They went into a quick mix, knocking over tables and chairs in the process. Nobody paid attention as Nina snuck up behind Cheryl and pulled her hair, slinging her to the ground. As soon as Cheryl went down Nina was on top of her putting in work on her face. When Von moved to break up Tre’s fight, Mia was back on London once again.

“Awe shit,” Von yelled as he, Mitch and Lamar tried hard to break up the three fights that were taking place.

They were tearing his backyard up, and it didn’t look like would ever stop on their own. Moonie and Tanya were finally able to grab Mia while Von held Tre back. It took both Lamar and Mitch to pull Nina’s wild ass away from Cheryl. London went to help her mother up from the ground while trying to cover herself up in the process. Mia had ripped her shirt completely off leaving her in nothing, but a bra.

“Y’all got to go,” Von said pointing to Cheryl. “My son just buried his mama, and I don’t have time for this bullshit.”

“We didn’t come here for this, but I’m not about to stand around and let nobody put their hands on my daughter either. And I’m pressing charges on your hood rat ass,” Cheryl yelled while pointing to Nina.

“Does it look like I give a fuck?” Nina yelled.

“Chill out Nina,” Lamar advised while holding her back.

She was still trying to get to Cheryl, but his grip was too strong. Nina was a known fighter and Cheryl’s bloody face, and tangled hair was proof of that.

“Y’all just get the fuck out!” Von’s voice boomed causing Cheryl to tremble in fear.

Von was never one to yell, so she knew that he had to be really upset. The possibility of the two of them being together weren’t looking very good at the moment. She decided that the best thing for her to do was to leave and give him some time to cool off. She wasn’t giving up on her man, but she wanted him to calm down before she tried talking to him.

“Let’s go,” Cheryl said to her daughter and nephew.

The three of them walked out of the yard as everyone looked on in silence.

“You good Mia?” Tre asked as he looked over at her, lightly touching a scratch on her face.

She nodded her head as Von looked back and forth between the two of them. The look in his son’s eyes was one that he’d never witnessed before. Something wasn’t right, but he didn’t feel like it was the right time to discuss it in front of a crowd of people. He wanted some questions answered, but he decided to wait before he asked them.

“How did it go with the lawyer?” Von asked Tre when he walked into the kitchen.

“Everything went good. Terri had all of her affairs in order, so that’s a good thing. She might not have handled her business with her kids, but she made sure that her policies were always paid and up to date. I don’t even care about the money, but I’ll be damned if that nigga Darren get his hands on anything,” Tre responded.

It had been two weeks since Terri passed and the drama with the fight that took place at her repast. Tre was just now getting things back on track when he got a certified letter from an attorney. Apparently Darren found out about Terri’s insurance policies and felt like her other kids were entitled to some of the money that Tre was about to receive. After spending two days going back and forth to the lawyer’s office, nothing about the situation had changed. Tre was still getting over three hundred thousand dollars from Terri’s insurance policy, and his brother and sister weren’t getting a dime. After seeing how they were behaving behind money, he was happy that Terri changed her policies and took them off. They didn’t give a damn about her, and they weren’t getting a penny of her money.

“That nigga was wrong for even taking it that far. Terri ain’t been dead a month, and he’s ready to go to war over her money. It’s not like she was rich. Aside from her policies she didn’t have nothing worth fighting for.”

“It’s all good, though. He still didn’t get a damn thing except for a bill from the lawyer that he hired. But you know you’re good for half of it as soon as the check clears,” Tre replied.

“Nah bruh, that’s your money to do what you want to do with it. I watched how well you took care of Terri for all those months before she died. I know you didn’t do it for the money, but you still deserve it.”

“And you deserve it too. I swear I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for you. None of my friends even talk to their fathers, but I never had to worry about that with you. You were both parents to me for as long as I can remember,” Tre said honestly.

“Taking care of you was my job Tank. You’re my only child, and I hated to leave you behind for eight whole years, but I didn’t have a choice. Take that money and buy you a nice house or something. You still have a lot of money rolling in from your real estate, so you’ll be good for a while.”

“Yeah, but I still want to do something for you too.”

“Just stay out of trouble. That’s all that I want from you. Nothing more and nothing less,” Von said seriously.

“I can do that,” Tre smiled. “But how about a vacation? We’re supposed to be going on a cruise for Mia and Brandis’s graduation. Maybe you and Tanya can come with us, my treat.”

  “That sounds good to me
,” Von replied.

“Cool. We don’t know where we’re going yet, but Mia has been looking around at some places.”

“Is she planning on bringing ole boy with her? You know, the one that came over here that day?” Von asked.

“Hell no that nigga ain’t coming with us!” Tre yelled taking Von by surprise.

“What about you? You got a female companion to cruise with?” Von asked looking right at him.

“Nah, I’m good going with just y’all,” Tre replied.

“Let me ask you something and I need you to be honest with me,” Von said getting serious all of a sudden.

  “Okay,” Tre replied.

“Mimi is your God sister, but do you have feelings for her aside from that? Like do you feel something more for her than just being her God brother?” Von asked.

Tre was truly at a loss for words. Von had never really asked him anything about a female in his life. Aside from telling Tre that Paige wasn’t the one, he never interfered with his love life. He really wanted to tell Von the truth, and that was he was in love with Mia, but now wasn’t the right time. Suddenly he understood exactly how Mia felt. He didn’t know how his father would take the news of him being in a relationship with the woman that he was raised up calling his sister.

“No, why do you say that?” Tre questioned.

“Don’t lie to me Tank. A few people have said it before, but I saw something for myself the day of Terri’s repast. I was pissed about Mia and London’s fight too, but it was different with you. The look in your eyes said a mouthful. And then both of y’all disappeared for a while up until the fight took place,” Von revealed.

“I’m not lying to you. I was just heated that they were doing all of that on the same day that I buried my mama. I don’t know where Mia was, but I was in my room. Honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to deal with anybody. I was laying down in my bed until I heard Mia and London arguing in the hallway,” Tre lied with a straight face.
