Hunting Their Mate Page 12

by Stone, Piper

  “Oh, fuck,” she hissed.

“You did very well,” Talyn said as she eased her into a sitting position on his lap.

She gave him a dirty look. “This is... ridiculous. Sir.”

He laughed and kissed her lips before sliding her onto the bed. “I’m certain you’ll find many things ridiculous as we grow together. But you’ll learn.” After standing, he nodded in my direction. “I think your other master needs some attention. I need a drink.” Chuckling, he walked past me after slapping me on the shoulder.

Kristina furrowed her brow as she fidgeted on the bed. Then her eyes fell to my actions, a smile curling on her lip.

I beckoned for her with my eyes, surprised she responded immediately, moving to the floor.

She crawled toward me, taking her time, her moves catlike. I had to admit, for all the animosity that we shared at times, her playful side turned me the fuck on. Dropping her head when she was only a foot in front of me, she purred.

“Come here,” I commanded, my balls ready to explode.

Another purr was followed by a lift of her head, dragging her tongue in an exaggerated fashion across her lips. She inched forward until she was between my outspread legs. She gave me a quick glance before rubbing her face on my leg, her soft skin like a whispered kiss.

I was rattled to the very core, ready to pitch her onto the bed and fuck her like a wild animal, but I held back, controlling my breathing. If she wanted to play, so be it.

Kristina continued purring as she moved to my other leg, rubbing her face in an upward motion. When she was close to my throbbing cock, she darted her tongue across my cockhead only once then eased back on her haunches, her eyes twinkling.

I could take no more. Fisting her hair, I yanked her closer, adding my husky growl to the mix. “Suck me.”

“Mmm...” She ran the tip of her nail down the underside of my shaft, tickling my balls. The woman was going to turn me into a total savage. She sensed my reaction and repeated the move, cupping and squeezing my balls.

“Fuck!” I threw my head back, taking gulping breaths.

“Such a big cock you have,” she mewled then wrapped her other hand around the base, pumping in slow motions. She blew across the tip before darting another lick. And another.

“Don’t tease me, Kristina. I said. Suck. Me.”

Her dark chuckle could rival my own, her sense of control far too strong. She had me in the palm of her hand. I twisted my hand around her long braids, tugging as a reminder. After another sigh, she lifted my cock, licking down the underside then taking one testicle into her mouth.

“Damn. Damn!” I couldn’t hold back my ragged exclaims or my raging desire.

She murmured as she sucked on the other ball, all the while her hand stroking up and down my shaft. She crawled further between my legs, finally allowing her hands to massage my inner thighs. Her touch was so powerful, driving me to a heightened state of sheer ecstasy.

I glanced down, watching with admiration as she opened her mouth, taking a solid two inches of my cock inside. Sucking, she used her strong jaw muscles holding me in place, her tongue swirling back and forth.

Every inch of my body was sensitive, my breath coming in short pants.

She seemed pleased, taking me down another inch then another until I heard a slight gagging sound. The way she opened her mouth even wider, relaxing her throat was quite frankly hot as shit. As she took another inch, moving up and down as she rose to her knees, she wrapped one hand around the base. Her hand met her mouth as she sucked me, going up and down in slow and easy motions at first, finally picking up speed.

I was lost to the pleasure, every muscle tense. “That’s... it.” Even my voice was ragged, barely recognizable.

When she was only two inches from the base, I jutted my hips forward, the action shoving the rest of my cock inside. The tip hit the back of her throat and I cupped her face, keeping her in position. “That’s it. Damn good.”

She darted her eyes up toward my face, her skin shimmering in such a beautiful manner.

I allowed her to resume, going up and down on the length of my shaft. I rolled onto the balls of my feet, struggling to maintain some sense of myself. The woman knew how to suck a man. I closed my eyes as she continued, the sounds of her lips smacking against my cock filtering into my ears. This was the ultimate in pleasure.

“Yes. Fuck, that’s so good. So hot.” I knew my voice was barely audible and all I could hear was the rapid beating of my heart.

With every twist of her hand, every roll of her tongue, I came close to coming. “Arms at your sides.”

She obeyed, still giving me a heated look. I face fucked her in a furious manner, like the savage I truly had become. Her mouth was scalding hot, sending a shower of electricity throughout every cell and muscle. Panting, I held back the orgasm, savoring every minute of having her lips wrapped around me.

Her face had such a beautiful sheen, her eyes locked onto mine. With every hard thrust, she seemed to want more.

And I gave it to her.

This was perfect, exactly what I needed, the control fracturing in my mind. I wanted this woman more than anything and she belonged to me. The thought was riveting.

My breathing becoming more ragged, I knew there was no holding back. Stars floated in front of my eyes as the climax raced into my body. “Fuck. Fuck. Yes!” Gripping both sides of her face, I forced her to take as much of my cum as possible, until her mouth was overflowing.

When I finally dropped my hands, trying to keep from stumbling backward, she resumed caressing my balls. I was breathless, struggling to calm my adrenaline.

She issued soft guttural sounds as she cleaned my cock and balls, taking her time. Her actions were gentle, almost loving and the concept floored me. As if satisfied, she eased back, licking the remnants off her lips and purring like a wildcat.

“Shit, woman.” I rubbed my face, laughing as beads of sweat dripped down from my forehead. She’d wrecked me in every manner. I gathered her into my arms, cradling her against my chest and remaining in place.

“What’s going to happen now?” she asked as she kneaded my chest.

“You’re going to be safe, protected.”

She lifted her head. “What about my village? Some of the people would never concur to harming Cenzans, no matter how much they supported our general cause. Especially when they heard that women and children were there. Please don’t kill them.”

Sighing, I carried her to the bed, easing her down and leaning over. I kissed her lips, holding our mouths together. My body continued to shake as the adrenaline rush wore off, but I also knew that honoring her request wasn’t just about my decisions. Shandar would do what was needed if the attacks continued. I brushed my lips back and forth before lifting my head. “Then help us. You know your people.”

  “I’ll do what I can.”

Nodding, I pulled the covers over her then grabbed my pants. “Just rest for now. We will talk later.”

  “Okay.”

Her voice seemed so small, as if she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders.

  Perhaps we both did.

I found the others in the outer room, languishing over their conquest as they swirled some kind of liquor. The only light were the glow outside the Comstar. The darkness was comforting. There was no reason for me to be disgusted or guilty for accepting the great honor the king had bestowed. For the Cenzans, this meant the possibility of continued life, allowing their kind to live on for generations. I simply had my own crosses to bear.

“She wears the plug well,” Talyn teased, lifting his glass in my direction.

I gave a half smile. “She will always be rebellious.”

“I adore that about her,” Talyn answered.

I couldn’t take my mind off the intense passion, the way we connected, but I remained tense.

“What do you think she knows?” Zacon asked. There was a quiet tone in his voice, completely unlike what I’d heard before.<

He loathed the electricity I shared with her but was forced to accept the fact I was taking the alpha role.

  Or so I hoped.

“She mentioned one in her group with expanded knowledge and a love of violence. What I do know is that the attack took technical expertise as well as the ability to obtain the kind of weapons that were banned long ago.” I kept my tone even, finding a need for another drink after all.

  “Military,” Talyn said casually.

“No doubt.” My answer was clipped. The hints were there, even the limited information we’d gathered.

“Much like your own,” Zacon shot out.

I gave him a look then nodded. “Very much like my own, which is troubling.”

“You think this isn’t just the attack of a group of marauders hell bent on killing us. Right?” Talyn’s question brought a snort from Zacon.

“Maybe. That is all I can say without additional facts.”

“Then we should raid the little village where she came from, searching for evidence as well as this rogue human,” Talyn suggested.

I finished pouring my drink as I thought about his suggestion. “If we do, they will likely be ready for us. They have no idea whether Kristina was abducted, killed outright, or walked off of her own volition.”

“True enough. We must be cautious. We should go to the Cenzan colony tomorrow and search the rubble.”

Zacon’s idea was a good one.

“Agreed.” I took a sip of my drink and glared out the ship’s window. The picture of Earth was a beautiful one, keeping far too many memories fresh. “This website she mentioned should be interesting.”

“You believe this is a sanctioned attack, don’t you?” Talyn asked.

I snickered, remembering the very reason I’d walked out of my unit in the first place, a sanctioned attack from my commanding officer. Known criminals, we were told. Murderers planning on attacking Washington DC.

And so, we’d gone in guns blazing.

On a group of innocent people.

I clenched my fist around the glass before answering, “Just my gut, but yes.”

“From what I’ve heard about you, when you have a gut feeling, people die.” Zacon’s words held an air of respect.

“Who the hell is behind this since every single leader on Earth signed a treaty with the Cenzan Federation?” Talyn asked after a few seconds of hesitation.

“Not everyone.” Her voice filtered into the darkness.

I slowly turned, studying her in the shadows. Maybe I was the only one who could detect a hint of fear in her voice.

  “Meaning?” Zacon asked.

She walked closer, her naked legs glistening in the glow of the stars. She’d found a robe, although the slip of material did little to hide her voluptuous figure. “Meaning if a new president is elected by the United States people, then he technically doesn’t have to follow the treaty’s declaration. He must meet with King Drateq and re-sign the required documents. Even if he wavers, taking his time, the Cenzans living within the United States borders will be placed in danger. If he doesn’t sign...” She allowed the words to trail off.

I hadn’t even thought about this concept in the least. The exacting treaty had been presented to the world leaders in such a manner that it would be easier for them to agree to signing. It would also in a sense save face for many of them who weren’t supported by their constituents. Not every country appreciated having aliens living amongst them. Exhaling, a disturbing feeling pooled into every cell in my body. “She’s right. This plan of attack has been in motion for a long time.”

Kristina nodded as she walked closer. “That’s what I’m afraid of.”

“What the hell does that mean?” Talyn inched closer.

“This is about what occurred months ago, some incident that almost started a war at that time,” Zacon answered.

It seemed that Shandar hadn’t been shy about letting his entire team know what we’d endured months before. “His name was Captain Logan Hicks, a man I once worked with and respected. Then he turned rogue, vying to destroy the Cenzan race, all the while protecting a very special group of humans—politicians and wealthy mogul types who likely funded various scientific experiments.” While Hicks was dead, there were others who’d been trained to take his place.

“Experiments?” she asked, narrowing her eyes.

“Yes. A drug was produced, capable of shutting down every Cenzan organ in a matter of hours.” Remembering the time nine months before filled my throat with bile.

“Then what I read could be true. Scientists could be developing some killing mist,” she said half under her breath.

I exhaled and shrugged. “Very possible.”

“I knew there was more to the United States government pretending to be overjoyed with aliens converging on their world,” Kristina huffed, pacing the floor.

“You’re saying this past operation involving Captain Hicks is a continued threat,” Talyn said quietly.

“That’s what I’ve always maintained. He was more of a puppet for someone higher in the ranks, but he wreaked havoc while he was alive. We never found out who he actually reported to, although he alluded to the fact that Cenzans would never be safe.” I tried to remember everything the bastard had said, all the pontificating he’d enjoyed moments before his death.

“That makes sense. If Jonas Bradford wins the election, I can assure you that he doesn’t have your best interest at heart, Zacon.” Kristina’s words rang loud and clear.

“How would you know this, female?” Zacon demanded, inching closer to her. “Who are you?”

“Who am I?” she hissed, getting in his face. “A woman trained to observe and to listen. I’ve heard the rumors. I read the reports issued by the government. You don’t have to be a brain surgeon to figure this one out. Oh, unless you’re a Cenzan.”

  Always so damn defiant.

Zacon reared back, his chest heaving. “You are no longer in charge of anything, human. You will respect your masters.”

  “Fuck that!” she said, laughing.

I moved in front of them, snarling at Zacon. “Whatever misconceptions any of us have about this relationship, we are following orders. Period.” I snapped my head in her direction, making certain she gathered exactly where I was coming from. While I cared for her already, she could not continue to believe she had the upper hand. “You will follow our rules or be disciplined. However, we value your input and knowledge. Don’t we?”

Zacon glared down at Kristina. “Very well, Killer. She requires a lesson in discipline. I suggest that you give that to her. What I might provide would be too harsh.”

“We will discipline her as necessary, but not out of anger,” I retorted.

“Calm the fuck down,” Talyn directed. “This isn’t getting us anywhere. We need to remember that women and children were hurt in the horrific attack, human woman and children who are vital to our longevity.”

Kristina exhaled, giving him a nod of respect. “I would never want anything to happen to women and children. I understand the kind of sadness that will never go away. I’m sorry for everything including the stupidity of the people I led into this, but they don’t deserve to die.”

  A harsh tension remained.

“I understand what you’re saying, Kristina. We will do everything we can to protect them; however, there simply can’t be any additional bombings. King Drateq will not stand for that. We’re all under duress for various reasons so I suggest that we try and relax for the rest of today. Tomorrow will begin our new lives.”

She bit her lower lip after I made the statement, but her eyes held some additional belief—in who or what I couldn’t be certain.

  Whatever the hell that meant.

I moved back toward the window, uncertain of what to say any longer. “How do you know all this about Jonas, Kristina?”

She smiled. “My father. We’ll just leave it at that.”

“Then you must tell us everything,” I said
with restraint in my voice. She was hiding much more information than she’d led us to believe. I made a mental note to find out everything I could about her father, as well as the attack on her village.

“I’ll tell you what I can. That was my deal. There is nothing I can prove about Jonas, but I know my father wouldn’t lie,” she countered. “He was the most honorable man I know.”

“What is the name of the man you believe initiated the attack?” I asked, keeping the words even keel. “Time to confide, Kristina. My gut tells me we don’t much time.”

She chewed on her cheek before answering. “He goes by Damen Solomon, although I doubt that’s his real name. I had no way of checking his credentials when he volunteered to work with us.”

The name rang a bell, but from where? “Do you know anything about him?”

Shaking her head, she folded her arms across her breasts, her face flushing. “No. He kept to himself. There is a girl who lives with him, but she’s right by his side at all times. They stay to themselves. My guess is he doesn’t confide anything to her either.”

“Killer is right. You are going to tell us everything you know. Every single detail,” Zacon demanded once again.

“And she will,” Talyn responded. “Killer is also correct about the fact we need to relax tonight. You have a house on Earth?” he asked me.

  “Yes. One provided by Shandar.”

“Then we regroup there tomorrow. I’m certain Shandar will want us to stay on Earth until we capture the real culprit or until the election is over.” Talyn seemed convinced.

I had the distinct feeling that the Cenzans weren’t telling me everything they knew.

  So be it.

  My allegiance was with Kristina.

After all, she was my mate and she would bear my child.

If only God above allowed a horrible tragedy to be rectified.

  Chapter Nine

  Kristina

“Don’t go, please. I need you. Please God.”

Opening my eyes, I heard the agonizing cry, and although the words were muffled, I knew Killer had whispered them in his sleep. Lifting my head, I studied his strained face as he tossed his head back and forth. There was such pain. What horrors had he witnessed?
