The Real You Page 6

“Mitch, before you do, I think you should know they feel really guilty about everything that took place. They are blaming themselves for Gabriel’s cruelty.”

That didn’t make sense at all. “What would they have to feel guilty about? It’s not their fault Gabriel is a psycho.”

“Because once Gabriel became bound to them, he changed. His love for Isiah, then for Claudius, rapidly turned to hate. I think they’re terrified you’ll hate them, too, because this attack was aimed at you.”

“Right now, I need to see them, touch them and smell them. This place seems wrong, and I need something familiar. Something that will…I don’t know. I just need them, okay?”

Remi laughed quietly in their mind when Eric had to end up carrying him, because Mitch’s legs still felt like jelly. Mitch tried hard not to join in. “Put me on the bed behind Claude.”

“Which one’s Claude?” Eric asked when he stopped at the foot of the bed.

“I’d say the naked one, but somehow I don’t think you would find it funny,” Remi joked aloud.

“Stop being an ass,” Eric retorted. “Remi, you’re starting to creep me out.”

“Sorry, Claude’s the one closest to us,” Mitch said, not wanting Remi to retaliate.

Mitch kissed Eric’s cheek after his friend deposited him on the bed. “Thank you.”

Eric smiled, then separated Claudius and Isiah from the stranglehold they had on each other. “What are you doing?”

“My guys will get the wrong idea if they wake up and you’re hugging only one of them. So I think the best thing would be if they wake up with you lying between them.”

  “He’s right,” Remi stated.

Mitch couldn’t agree more. Instead of answering Remi, he spoke to Eric. “See, this right here is why you’re my best friend. You think of everything.” He tried not to flinch while Eric lifted him again and placed him in the middle of the bed.

Eric retrieved a sheet and covered the lower half of their bodies. “They wouldn’t like it if a creepy guy saw them naked,” he said with a shrug, then left the room.

  * * * *

Hours later, Mitch still lay there contemplating whether or not to call Eric back to help him to the bathroom. Strange how the minute you finally found a comfortable position to lie in, nature came knocking. All thoughts of the bathroom slipped from his mind when his men began stirring on either side of him. Mitch waited nervously for them to realize they were no longer alone. He relaxed as they traced their hands slowly over his body, as if unsure about what was happening.

“Mitch.” Claudius whispered sleepily and it was one of the most breathtaking things Mitch had ever heard. “We told Gabriel you wouldn’t hurt us, and I was right.”

Isiah snuggled closer. “Do you still love us?”

“I’m here, aren’t I?” Mitch said softly, then sighed in contentment as they both took turns to kiss him slowly. For once, Remi was quiet. Mitch liked the fact his demon wasn’t intruding on this special moment. Soon enough, Remi would be introduced to the men in their life.

“You taste different,” Isiah whispered against his mouth. “I like it.”

Mitch inwardly did a happy dance at the comment. Isiah explored his mouth more thoroughly, only to be pushed away so Claudius could take his place. It took a good half hour until they were finally ready to stop.

“We’d better get it over with,” Remi nudged.

  Mitch whined half-heartedly. “I don’t want to.”

“Either you do it, or I will.”

There was no denying Remi. Honestly, he couldn’t do that to any of them. “Claude, Isiah. There’s something I need to tell you, and I’m not sure you’re going to like it.”

“Do you want to tell us your demon is real?” Isiah asked. “I told you. You taste different. We know he’s there inside you.”

“Actually, yeah.” Mitch was a little stunned at Isiah’s announcement.

Claudius kissed Mitch gently on the cheek. “We don’t care. We can love you both.”

Elation filled Mitch. Remi surged forward at surprising speed and took over his body completely. Remi showered both Claudius and Isiah with kisses. “I promise you won’t regret this. We are one, and we will be stronger together.”

“Are you gay?” Claudius posed the question.

Weirdly, Mitch was kind of curious about the answer.

“Mitch is. I share his body and feelings, which makes me love you as well.”

Remi never actually said he was, in fact, gay, but Mitch had to wonder. Could a person really switch sides of the fence when it came to love?

“Don’t think about it too hard. You might give yourself an aneurysm. Let’s say love is love, no matter what form the body is underneath me.”

  “Cool. You’re bisexual, then.”

“I don’t do labels.” Remi snorted. “But I have to admit, those guys are all kinds of sexy.”

Mitchel chuckled silently. “Yes they are, and they’re all ours.”

“How soon can we get them into bed without looking slutty?”

“We’re already in bed.” Mitch moaned. His breath hitched as Isiah shoved Mitch’s trousers down to free his cock, which was now standing up, begging for attention.

  “Suck me,” Remi growled.

Isiah grinned. “As you wish, Remi.”

The moment Isiah sucked his cock into his mouth Mitch was flooded with both his pleasure and Remi’s. In unison, they moaned and thrust gently into Isiah’s willing mouth.

“Your eyes are like glowing emeralds,” Claudius said as he straddled Mitch’s naked torso. Mitch licked his lips in anticipation of tasting the bead of pre-cum glistening in the slit of Claudius’ cock.

“Feed me.” Mitch opened his mouth and waited for Claudius to comply, one hand still held on Isiah’s head to keep him in place. Mitch moved his other one to wrap around Claudius’ hip, bringing him closer.

The sensation of both taking and giving was enough to boil his blood. If their foreplay was this intense, he couldn’t wait to see what it felt like to have sex with them. Moving his hand, he then sucked his fingers into his mouth beside Claudius’ cock and wet them, making sure they were well coated. He slid his finger between Claudius’ legs and pressed into his hole. The ease in which he entered with first one finger then soon worked his way up to three, told Mitch his lovers had had sex prior to going to sleep. He hummed around Claudius’ erection as the man thrust between his mouth and his fingers.

A feral growl sounded from one of his men. Isiah released his cock and gently pulled Mitch’s fingers from Claudius’ ass. “My turn.”

Bliss filled Mitch as he waited for Isiah to bury his own cock balls-deep inside Claudius. “I’m going to fuck you so hard, Claude, and I’m not going to stop until you come down our baby’s throat.” Mitch watched as Claudius’ gaze seemed to shift in and out of focus. Mitch pushed his finger into Claude’s ass beside Isiah’s cock, wanting to share the moment of Isiah’s release. His own cock ached. Claudius tensed above him as a wave of cum shot down his throat that tasted like nectar from the gods. His ears rang with the cries of ecstasy coming from Claude and Isiah. As soon as Isiah pulled free of Claude, Mitch yanked his lover from his mouth and slammed him back. Mitch needed to have Claude’s ass wrapped around his own cock. Thrusting deeply, he cried his lover’s name as his seed tore from his body in an orgasmic explosion to mix with Isiah’s inside Claude. He couldn’t help but be happy by the sated look now adorning Claude’s face.

“We’re not done yet,” Remi announced as he moved Claude aside and reached for Isiah. “I also need to release inside you for our bonding to be complete.”

Isiah scrambled onto his hands and knees, offering up his ass. Mitch was amazed that his cock was still at the ready and he assumed this was all due to Remi. He moved into a position of readiness and sat back on his haunches as he watched Claudius stretch Isiah. When Claudius finished, he moved until he was kneeling in front of Isiah, lifted him up onto his knees and
began to kiss him. Mitch watched for a moment until Remi urged them behind Isiah. Holding onto Isiah’s hips, they thrust hard and kept on fucking him until the tell-tale sizzle zinged around their body. His grip tightened as his balls drew closer to his body with each new thrust. Burying himself deeply, he unloaded into his lover, holding tightly until the aftermath of the lovemaking had come to a standstill.

“We’re bonded now. Nothing can tear us apart. If anyone tries, I’ll kill them.” Remi’s voice was somehow meshed with his own, and Mitch couldn’t agree more.

Sadness or something akin to it filled Claudius’ and Isiah’s eyes. It wasn’t until Isiah spoke that Mitch realized why. “We’re bonded to Remi, but not to you, Mitch.”

“How do you bond to me? I thought we did that when you fed me your blood to save me?” Mitch asked.

“We need to spill our seed inside your body as Remi has done to us. When we find true release, then and only then, will we finally be bonded completely.”

“Then don’t you think we should do something about that?” Mitch lay back on the bed and held his arms out. “Are you choosing who goes first, or do I need to flip a coin?” Mitch’s body responded to their touches, going from zero to sixty in less than a second. The hungry gleam in their eyes would have been enough to turn any man or woman on. He realized right then that he was going to enjoy getting to love everyone in the room for as long and as often as they all wanted. He knew the rapid speed and succession with which Claudius and Isiah claimed him was only the tip of the iceberg in their sex life.

Not ready to leave the room and join the rest of the world, they spent the rest of the night making love and getting to know everything about the other people in their relationship. He wished they could stay this way forever, but knew life wouldn’t be so kind to them.

  Chapter Seven

“I’m hungry. How about you two get dressed then we go and eat? The others probably think we’re dead,” Mitch said.

Isiah chuckled when Mitch pushed them both gently away to try to get them moving. It wasn’t happening. Well, not right this moment at least.

Isiah relaxed back in the bed for only a second then he, too, got up and started pulling on clothes. In his heart, he knew they couldn’t stay holed up in their room. For one thing, the guild would never allow it. Although they now knew the guild didn’t believe Mitch was their True One, they were lucky the guild was allowing them their dalliance—as long as they kept searching.

Little did they know, with Remi now in the picture, there would be no more looking. The demon had bonded them all together. Being bound to a demon was stronger than any laws of marriage. Not that he minded. He was grateful Remi was willing to be with them both, or else life would have well and truly sucked.

“You two have bound yourselves to us. Do you know what that means?” Remi asked.

“That you both now belong to us,” he and Claudius said in unison.

Isiah froze when Mitch shook his head.

“Then what does it mean?” Isiah asked softly, dreading the answer.

“It means that the both of you belong to me, and Remi.” A slow smile spread across Mitch’s face and Isiah relaxed. “No matter what happens next. Whether we break up, you marry other women or men…it’s okay, because deep down where it counts, you’ll always belong to us.” It felt strange to instantly think of himself as an ‘us’, yet somehow, he did, and it didn’t bother him at all. In fact, it was rather comforting.

Claudius snorted as they walked into the kitchen. “We’re not marrying anyone who isn’t you and Remi.”

Isiah burst out laughing when he realized Claudius was telling the truth. Who would be crazy enough to even contemplate marrying two men at the same time? He’d only gotten used to it being the three of them, and now they were suddenly a foursome. Somehow it all felt right.

“Good morning, Dav, and good morning, Eric,” Mitch said upon entering the kitchen. Isiah stood beside Claude as Mitch then turned his attention to the third person in the room. “You must be Murtagh.” Mitch held out his hand in greeting. Isiah wondered if the guild member would reciprocate, because so far, the only person he seemed interested in getting close to was Eric. For some reason, Eric couldn’t stand the guy.

Truthfully, Murtagh was an exceptionally good-looking man. Not that he’d ever admit that to his lovers. Yet, in saying that, there seemed to be something odd about the guy. Isiah saw a young, dark-haired beauty with gray eyes. Murtagh’s skin was absolutely flawless. Somehow, he appeared almost too perfect. The more Isiah stared, the more he knew he was right and that Murtagh was hiding something. But now was not the time to try to figure it out. They already had enough on their plate to worry about.

“Good evening, sweet Mitch. It’s good to see you have recovered. Now, pray tell, can you explain to me who Remi is?” Murtagh said politely then let go of Mitch’s hand, yet Isiah detected some stress around his eyes. Something was going on.

  Mitch shrugged.

Isiah pulled the chair opposite Murtagh for Mitch to sit. Isiah knew his mate would have lots of questions.

Mitch tilted his head slightly then said, “I’ll tell you about Remi, but first we have some questions of our own. Firstly, Eric has told me some stuff about what happened but not everything.”

Isiah returned to stand beside Claude and held his hand. This particular meeting happening right now was for Mitch and Remi to handle. If they all jumped into the conversation, the story would get garbled, and confusion wasn’t something any of them wanted.

“What would you like to know?” Murtagh asked.

  “Eric says I’m a tri-being. I think he’s wrong.”

Murtagh frowned at Mitch. “Why would you think he’s wrong?”

“I know I have a demon in me, but I can’t find any trace of a vampire. Is this why I’m not craving blood like Claude and Isiah do?”

Murtagh studied Mitch intensely. Tension from the conversation surrounded the man. “Well, I guess the good thing is that you don’t actually have to drink blood. As for traits, I’d have to say you’ll possibly have better night vision, heightened senses, and you may become a tad territorial.” Murtagh stopped when Isiah started chuckling. “What?”

“Mitch is already territorial,” Isiah teased. “He bosses us around all the time. I get the feeling Remi is going to be ten times worse.”

“You’re damn right. My word is law,” Remi ground out.

Daven and Murtagh stared open-mouthed at Mitch. Eric still seemed a little shocked, but was faring better than the other two.

Claudius chuckled then murmured in Isiah’s ear, “Let’s see what they make of our other mate.”

“Who the hell is that?” Daven demanded as he sat forward on his seat.

Eric gestured to Mitch. “Dav, Murtagh, I’d like to introduce you to Remi. Mitch’s alter-ego, and once in the not-too-distant past the greatest of all the Larkos demons.”

“I thought you said the vampire genes would be the stronger?” Daven snarled at Murtagh.

“This is getting interesting,” Claude whispered in his ear

  Isiah nodded. It certainly is.

Mitch held up his hands for silence. “They would have been if Gabriel had doused me in dried blood like he thought he had. Instead, he used the dried powder containing a mix of Remi’s heart and soul, which made him the stronger demon, and currently one of my new best friends. Mind you, it hasn’t always been that way. You try having someone else occupy your body and tell me you’re still completely sane. Though, for us both to survive, I have to trust him with my very life, just as he does me.”

“This wasn’t supposed to happen,” Murtagh said hesitantly.

Isiah thought the guy was looking a little green around the gills.

“Well, it did. I guess now we’ll have to live with it. As much as I’d like to hate Gabriel for what he’s done, I kind of understand his point of view. Mind you, in saying that, he’ll not be getting another chance at my men—ever!”

>   Isiah walked over, bent and purred into Mitch’s ear. “I like you bossy. The four of us will love a lifetime’s worth then start all over again.”

He loved the way Mitch reached up and stroked his face. “I love you too, Isiah, and you’re right. Together forever.”

Eric had finally come out of his daze and suddenly smiled at everyone. “Sounds like a plan. So, who’s hungry?”

“Me,” Claudius said as he pulled out a chair for himself at the table, and Isiah sat on Mitch’s free side. “Are we eating, or not?” Claudius added.

“Yes, your royal pain in my ass,” Eric joked as he walked toward the stove. He started stirring the contents of the pots and pans. He dished up mounds of bacon and eggs with sides of fried red tomatoes and piles of toast.

As they sat and ate, Isiah discretely studied Murtagh, who never once took his eyes off Eric, but Eric completely ignored Murtagh.

To somewhat ease the tension, Isiah asked, “Pass me the salt, please, Tagh?”

Murtagh choked on his drink at the shortening of his name. “What did you call me?”

“Um, Tagh.” Isiah grinned mischievously. “Murtagh is such an old-fashioned and fuddy-duddy name, but Tagh is more of a now name. So, I’m gonna call you Tagh from now on, okay?”

“And they think I’m the bossy one.” Mitch pretended to pout.

Claudius let out a belly laugh. “You are.”

“That’s it, Claude, no kisses for you two tonight.”

“Hey! Not fair,” Isiah complained at being included. “I never said anything. Claude should be the one missing out on the kisses, not me.”

“Yes, that’s true. In an ideal world, it would work fine only punishing Claude, but we both know if I start kissing one, I’ll soon be kissing the other. So now you both have to go without,” Mitch joked.

At least, Isiah hoped he was joking.

“Sorry, Isiah,” Claude said apologetically. “I didn’t know Mitch would stop kissing us.”

Mitch’s resolve crumbled at the look of devastation they both now wore, and he wasn’t surprised when Remi spoke up.
