Forced To Kill The Prince Page 43

by Hollie Hutchins

“I had a good time tonight.” He said with his lips still pressed against mine.

  “I did too”

“Why does it have to end?” He asked me. Butterflies made their way back inside my stomach. Was he indicating that he wanted to continue the date inside my apartment? I don’t remember the last time a man was inside my apartment, but I knew that I didn’t want the night to end.

“Would you like to come inside?” I ask him. Letting go of me, he lets me through so I can lead him inside my apartment building. We walk up to the door and I put my key inside. At this particular moment, I remembered how dirty my apartment was, and how I wished I had cleaned it a little before I left for my date. “My apartment’s a little messy. I hope you don’t mind.” I said pushing the door open. Damon sees me struggling and pushes the door with one arm. It groans and swings open. I glare at him. I cannot even open the door when I use my whole body half the time and he pushes it open with his arm.

“What?” I shake my head and laugh. We walk into my apartment and he closes the door behind him. At this particular moment, I am very aware of what is going to happen and my palms start to sweat. I start to feel a little lightheaded and sway a little bit. Damon puts his hand out to catch me and he leads me towards the couch. “Are you okay?” I nod.

“I’m just a little lightheaded.” I tell him.

“Maybe you drank too much wine.” I look over at him and cock my head.

“It isn’t the wine that is making me dizzy. It’s the effect you have on me.” I tell him as a stand up, trying to put some space between us. “Ever since we first started talking, I have felt this magnetic pull when it comes to you.” Before I could finish my sentence, Damon’s hand is around my head, and his mouth is on top of mine. He kisses go from passionate to hungry. He pushes me up against the wall. My arms go around his neck, in my attempt to pull him closer to me. All thoughts escaped my mind, and I was acting on instinct. As his kisses became stronger, I felt a warm wetness inside my panties. Damon must have noticed it too because without missing a beat, he picked me up and carried me to the bed. He started to move his head down my neck and down toward my breast line, unbuttoning my shirt with his teeth. I lay there taking in all the pleasure that he was giving me when he pulled my breast out of my bra and swiveled his tongue around my hard, pink nipple. I moaned as he sucked on it, nibbling it with his teeth. My hands start to wander; I grab the bottom of his t-shirt and lift it over his head. I feel the cold air on my skin as he pulls away to help me get his clothing off. I rub my hands down his chest as he continues to take off my bra and massage my breasts. Damon starts rubbing up against me, while he starts kissing down my stomach. I feel his hardness against my thigh, and the need for him to touch me becomes greater. He looks up at me seductively when his mouth gets to the button of my jeans. I start to squirm with anticipation. Slowly he unbuttons my jeans and throws them on the floor. Starting at my pink satin panties, he grins and starts to massage my inner thighs with his tongue. When I start to shake, he sits up and moves in between my legs. He takes his forefinger and tickles my clit, moving the fabric of my panties around as they start to get wetter. After what feels like he forever, he stops teasing me and slides my sobbing panties off. He throws them on the floor and I open my legs invitingly. Pulling my body closer to him, Damon takes his forefinger and caresses my clit, while he sticks his other finger inside my wetness. I cry out as his fingers start to move faster, and arch my back as the waves of pleasure start to heighten. Damon grins as I come and gingerly takes off his boxers. Never taking his eyes off of me, he opens my legs wider and slides his shaft right inside of me. He groans when he enters me and starts keeping up a rhythm. The sensations between my legs start to increase and hit their peak at the same time that Damon releases himself inside of me. Panting, he rolls off me and lies down on the pillow beside me. I fall asleep on his chest, happier than I have been in my life.

The next morning, I wake up reaching for Damon, but the side of the bed where he was sleeping is empty. I sit up and realize that that the apartment is empty. He must have left in the middle of the night. I knew this was too good to be true. I reluctantly get up and start getting ready for work. Grabbing my purse and my coffee cup, I walk out to my car. Searching for my keys in my purse, I don’t notice the 6 foot man standing beside my car. I look up just as Damon tackles me to the ground. A red gas like substance flies right by me, and misses me by an inch.

“Damon, what the hell is going on?” I scream. He put his hand over his mouth and tells me to be quiet. I look underneath the car as he starts fumbling for something inside his pocket. I notice two snake like creatures with hands carrying what look like some sort of gun, walking by my car. These creatures curve backward where their feet should be and slither in an upward motion when they walk. As I am about to tell Damon that we have company, he pulls out a metallic silver sphere from his belt, and I start to scream. Putting his hand over my mouth again, he starts speaking into the machine in a language I have never heard of before. Everything around me starts to get fuzzy and I feel like I am being sucked into a tube. The sensation is way too much for me to handle. My head hits something hard, rolls back and all I see is the black of my eyelids.

  Chapter Five

There is a searing pain in my head that jolts me awake. All I see is a bright light, as my eyes adjust to my surroundings. My body wavers and I’m standing in a black circle. The entire room is completely white and I don’t know if it has four walls because for some reason I can’t stop moving. The searing pain in my head increases, and my ears start to ring. My body rocks uncontrollably and I start to see that familiar black light behind my eyelids again. Before my eyes close all the way, I think I see a figure that resembles Damon picking me up and carrying me away. I submit to the darkness and fall into a deep sleep.

I don’t know how long I slept for, but I think Damon came to check in on me. I didn’t see him. I couldn’t see anything but the blackness, but I remember him saying my name over and over again. There was a time when I felt him pick me up and hold me tight. It was one of the most comforting feelings I have ever felt in my life. I don’t think anyone has ever hugged me that tight since my father was alive. The peace I felt in my sleep, made me think that I was dead, and what I was experiencing was Damon cradling my dead body. But wouldn’t I still be able to see. After what seemed like ages, I felt a pull on my eyelids and I was able to move them. The same white light as before shone into my eyes, but it was less painful. The room feels strangely like home. I could smell the magnolias blooming outside my window, and hear the familiar songs of the birds outside. I must have been having a very realistic dream. That’s it. I don’t think I ever left my bed, all of those things I saw were just part of my nightmare, and I will wake up and Damon will be lying next to me. I couldn’t wait to open up my eyes and view that sexy body next to me. My eyelids flicker again, and this time I am actually able to open them. However, what I see is nothing like what I expected. I am lying in a big, circular bed with red satin sheets. A white comforter was pulled up to my chin. I sat up and looked around this white washed room. There were no other types of decorations, or furniture in this room, save for the bed that I was lying in. There was a window adjacent to the bed and I rubbed my eyes to make sure that what I was seeing was actually true. Right outside my window was the planet Jupiter. The colors of the planet were so vivid that I felt like I could almost touch it. I remember the bronze, orange and red colors that I could see from my father’s telescope as a child. Now, I am actually looking at it up close. I jump out of bed and run to the window, mesmerized by what is actually right in front of me. How am I able to view this? Where am I? How did I get here? There are so many questions that I want to ask, but I have no idea who is here with me. I woke up alone in this room. All of a sudden, I hear a commotion outside the door. Before I can do anything, I brace myself, Damon walks into the room holding a tray of food. He flashes that same angelic smile that I a
m used to and for some reason it feels me with dread.

  Chapter Six

Memories from the previous morning start flooding through my brain, and my instincts start to kick in. Damon’s smile never wavers. Turning his head, he puts the tray on the edge of the bed and beckons me to come and sit next to him. I eye the door that he just walked through, it was slightly ajar, which was a good thing because I couldn’t detect it was there before. Making sure his attention was on arranging the food in front of him, I made a run for it. The front of the door is about 100 feet in front of me. It’s so close I can almost taste the freedom, but then my wrist is yanked so fast, I whip around to face Damon. He must see the extreme fear in my eyes. All I want to do is get out of this room, and as far away from him as possible.

“Lori…” his voice started to calm her, but then she reminded herself that it was just an allusion. The image she had of him was shattered the moment those things attacked her. What were they? What was he? What did he want from her? Frankly, she didn’t care. He scared the crap out of her, and she couldn’t be with or around someone that she wanted to run from. Tugging on the same wrist he is holding, he leads her over to the bed and gingery sits her down “Please don’t look at me like that.” But, I can’t help it. I tug my arm away from him and scurry to the other side of the bed. My plans at escaping have failed. However, I won’t let him think that I will give in that easily. He attempts to move closer to me.

“Stay away from me.” I say with as much courage as I can muster. My heart is pounding in my chest, and I feel a little lightheaded, but I won’t let him see me in a weak state. Not, while I’m awake at least.

“Lori. Listen to me. I’m not as bad as you think I am. I’m the same person that you talked to on the phone.” I eye him suspiciously. What is his end game? “Do you want to know the truth?” he sighs. I nod in consent. Turning his body slightly more towards me, he rakes his hands through his hair, and opens his mouth to speak. “I know that you have many questions, and I will try to answer them. I am what is known as a human Avon hybrid. Avon’s are gray humanoids that have long heads and really long fingers. Right now, I am on a mission to help colonize my race after our planet was destroyed by the Malice species. These creatures have no emotion or feelings whatsoever. Their main goal is to kill and to reach such a high level of technological advancement that they can continue to further that goal. They want to rule the galaxy as a dominant species. With this being said, I am the ruler, the king of my race, and it is my responsibility to bring us to a new land, a new home where we can thrive and continue living. “

“Why did you lie to me?” I ask him curiously. I am still wrapping my head around all of the information that he had told me. He is just as delusional as my father was on his deathbed.

“Would you have believed me if I told you then?” I realized that he already knew that I was having a hard time believing what he just told me. “Would you have continued to talk to me if I did? Would you have continued dating me?”

“No. I wouldn’t have.” I said truthfully. “But, this is crazy. Out of all the women in the world, why would the ruler of his race choose to be with me?”

“Because you were made for me.” he said with such vigor that I gasped in surprise. “Did you ever wonder about your mother? Did your father ever talk about her? Give you some sort of story about why she wasn’t around?”

“No. Every time I brought it up, he would change the subject.”

“Did you ever wonder why?” I nodded. I had often dreamt about my mother. Trying to picture if she looked like me; if there was anything about me that resembled her. But, my father wouldn’t budge on the subject. “It’s because she doesn’t exist. You are a product, a creation of a breeding program that will help us repopulate our species. I chose you Lori because you are perfect in every single way. You were made for me.” Before I knew it I was screaming at him.

“Who the hell are you to decide my future for me? “ I was so angry that I balled my hands into fists. Jumping off the bed, I start pacing around the room, doing anything to expel my anger. Damon stared at me in shock. I don’t think he thought I would object to what he said to me. I mean, it had romance all over it. But, it didn’t sound like my happy ending. I had no choice in the matter, and that was what infuriated me. He hadn’t even had the common decency to let me in before we got here and tell me about this. No, he just decided to rope me in and make me fall for him, only to tell me that he was somebody completely different than the person I thought he was, and I was supposed to be okay with that? No way, Jose. “Take me home now.” I demand. “I want to go home.” A frown appears on his face, and he looks at the ground.

  “We can’t.” he whispers.

“What? Why can’t we?” he jumps up.

“Because It’s not safe.” he yells. “The Malice knows where I am now. Earth is not the safest place to be. Now they know that I was there, they are going to continue looking for me, and are going to destroy the planet in their attempt to find me.”

“I can’t do this. I can’t be with you! You lied to me!” I spat at him. “I want my own room where I’m not being watched.” Damon looks defeated. His eyes remain downcast, and he shuffles his feet uncomfortably across the floor.

“Lori be reasonable. There was a time when you wanted to be with me. I’m still the same person that you fell in love with. Let me show you.”

“This is all just too much for me right now.” I say, shaking my head. Without a word, Damon saunters to the door and leads me to my private room.

  Chapter Seven

I sigh as Damon closes the door behind him. The food he brought is sitting on the table in the room. I stare at it debating if I want to eat or not. Starving myself isn’t going to change the fact that I’m in here and I need all my strength to be able to escape this prison. I sit down at the table and start eating. The food is amazing. Damon brings me a tray of food three times a day. I don’t know if we are the only two people on this ship, but as a ruler, he takes his role to catering to my needs seriously. I wonder if it’s a ploy to win me over or something. I have been thinking a lot about the events of the other day, and I have come to the conclusion that he is lying. I can tell that he is not human because I am in a ship that is orbiting Jupiter, but I don’t know if I can believe some of the things that come out of his mouth. He has lied to me from the very beginning, and as an alien, he probably kidnapped me to learn more about my species. Or he had kidnapped me to make me procreate with him, which is not even a possibility. I will not let him come close to me ever again. Every time he delivers my food, I make sure that I am on the opposite side of the room, with my back turned. He must take the hint because he leaves the food on the table and leaves without speaking to me. The very thought of him on the other side of the room scares the crap out of me still. He has me at his very disposal and there is nothing I can do if he decides to take some action. I saw what he did when we were around those snake-like creatures, and I don’t want him to do that to me. What if he is working with them? What if those snake=like creatures are his subjects and what happened that morning was a diversion? My body starts to shake and I force myself to lie down.

I fall asleep, but wake up abruptly. I haven’t had a good night’s rest since I’ve been here. I can’t get my mind to shut up, and I worry that someone is going to come in and take me somewhere to do God knows what with me. Damon must have noticed the redness in my eyes because he brings sleeping pills with my meals, but I refuse to take them. I don’t want to be drugged. God knows what would happen to me. I know I’ve been here for quite a few days, but the exact amount isn’t clear to me. I can see the rise and fall of one of the moons outside the window, but that’s about it. Except for Damon, no one else has come to my room and it has been dreadfully quiet in here. The days are kind of boring, but Damon leaves magazines for me to read. I try to ignore them, but sneak glances when I feel myself going stir crazy. I just want to leave this room and figure out what to do from there
. It seems that hopes of going back to my old life are futile, but I cannot come to terms with the fact that being with Damon is my only choice. To drop that on me is really unfair. I wanted to fall in love with someone, and start building a relationship with them before the thought of marrying them. Now, it seems like that is not going to happen. I don’t want my sole purpose in life to help repopulate a race. I want my sole purpose to be happy and maybe finding something to do that I love.

All of a sudden there is a lurch and the ship starts to shake an aftershock immediately hitting the ground after a major earthquake. I sit here until the shaking stops, but it continues to grow, and it takes all my might to stay on the bed. The door of my room bursts open and Damon runs in the room, space gun in hand.

“The Malice are attacking. I need you to come with me!”

  Chapter Eight

We are running through the corridors of the ship. The first time I’m out of my room, and I can’t even check out the ambiance.

“Hurry.” he ushers me to run faster as plasma fire flies past me. I remember it from that morning outside the car. That same dreadful feeling overtakes me, and I run faster than I have ever ran before, trailing behind Damon and surpassing the fire that is targeted at him and I. We run for what seems like forever, unscathed, and we turn a corner that is filled with a mindless amount of corpses. Men, women and children that I never had the pleasure of meeting are strewn across the floor. Some have lost limbs, and others are covered in blood. My hand goes over to my mouth, but I don’t stop running. There is no time to mourn for these people right now. We need to get out of danger, and every instinct in my body is pushing me to get to safety.
