My mouth opened and I erupted. “Why would you want your own room?”
Norah threw her head back and laughed. “I’m kidding, Bodhi! And of course, I’ll move in with you.”

In the corner, Penelope had been so quiet, I’d already forgotten she was here. Suddenly she leaned forward, and announced, “This is the best family dinner ever.”
“You got that right, tater tot,” I agreed while I held Norah close to my chest and nodded.
