Almost from the moment she’d agreed, she could feel the natural lubrication begin to coat Ben’s cock, the slippery fluid smearing between her butt cheeks as Naith leaned forward to kiss her lovingly. He lifted his warm hands to her breasts, gently squeezing the soft globes before zeroing in on the hardening nipples with his fingers. She gasped as he squeezed one of the stiff nubs and he immediately dropped his hand away, apparently concerned that he’d hurt her somehow. She made a sound of distress that had him moving back even farther.

“Naith,” she said trying to hold him to her, but it was Chris who thankfully defused the situation. He moved to lie behind Naith, blocking his retreat as he leaned over and touched Felicity’s breast.

“There are two things you need to remember about humans,” Chris said in that teasing tone that was so much a part of him. “One…we’re not as fragile as you seem to think, and two…a little bit of pain heightens the pleasure.”

Felicity gasped as Chris squeezed her nipple much, much harder, her eyes watering from the sharp sting even as her pussy flooded with moisture. She moaned as he let go and reached for Naith’s hand. He guided him lower until their fingers pressed against her swollen pussy, the thick digits sliding through her juices before pushing gently inside. Naith wore an expression of complete surprise.

“Imagine how amazing that is going to feel wrapped around your cock,” Chris said wickedly as he encouraged Naith to fuck her with his fingers. “And imagine how fucking incredible it will be when Ben pushes into her ass and you both fuck her together.”

Ben’s cock jerked against her ass, his obvious approval making her moan in pleasure. She’d never had anal sex before, had never even considered double penetration, but suddenly it seemed so damn important to share the experience with these two men.

“Please,” she whispered, reaching for Naith to pull him closer. Chris leaned over him, kissed her quickly, and then moved back into Daku’s arms. He moaned a moment later as Daku moved to lay over the top of him, the love between the two of them so very clear in their eyes.

Ben pressed kisses to the back of her neck as he lifted her leg high into the air, exposing her pussy more fully to Naith’s fingers. He fucked her faster, pushing deeper as he watched her face. He nodded to Ben a moment before the man’s thick finger pushed into her ass. Together they fucked her gently, Naith lowering his head to her breast, sucking hard against the nipple as Ben worked as second finger into her back passage. Fuck, even without either of them touching her clitoris she was on the verge of orgasm.

“Please,” she begged again, wrapping her arms around Naith as she pushed back against Ben. “Please, Ben.”

But the man wouldn’t be hurried. His soft kisses changed to tiny bites as he pushed a third finger into her ass and stretched her opening wider. The skin burned slightly, the heat quickly morphing into pleasure. She shuddered as she held back her orgasm, wanting to feel them both deep inside her before she let go.

“Ben,” Chris said on a half laugh, half groan, “give the lady what she wants.”

Felicity nodded vigorously, reaching behind her to pull Ben closer. He bit the back of her neck quite hard, his teeth pressing insistently against the skin as he removed his fingers and replaced them with the head of his cock. He placed his hand on her hip, holding her steady as he thrust forward in one smooth motion and forced his cock deep into her ass. She groaned in pleasure as her body adjusted, the incredible sensation of Naith still fucking her with his fingers as Ben filled her ass so completely overwhelming that her orgasm began. She moaned as the waves overtook her, nearly screaming with intense pleasure when Naith removed his fingers and thrust his cock deep into her pussy.

He held still, groaning as her pussy muscles rippled around him and Ben started to move in her ass. Slowly Naith began to move as well. One in, one out, the rhythm growing faster, the force growing stronger, Felicity’s orgasm rolling into the next and the next, her body on sensory overload, her mind floating on pure bliss.

“Fuck,” Naith whispered as his orgasm began, his cock throbbing inside her as Ben continued to thrust, continued to caress them both with his cock, continued to love them as they both shattered in orgasm.

Almost down, almost sated, almost back into reality, she was sent soaring once more by a soft touch on her clit. She screamed as she came, jolting hard against both men as her body took over and instinct ruled her every movement.

They held her close, caressing her softly, loving her as she slowly sank back into her body and the world melted into reality once more. She smiled as she closed her eyes, loving the emotional connection she felt to all of these men.

“Holy fucking hell, baby girl,” Chris said on a deep, growly, panted voice as Daku thrust faster and faster into his ass. “Get some sleep. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a very long night.”

She nodded happily and then, held safe in her lovers’ arms, did exactly as Chris suggested.

  Chapter Eight

Zed entered the captain’s quarters as soon as the door opened. He was so agitated that he had trouble remembering social niceties. There was probably some sort of military protocol for this situation, but he had no clue what it was. How did one go about voicing a suspicion with absolutely no proof?

“Zed?” the captain asked as he stepped into the main room to greet him. “Is everything okay?”

The concerned question at least had the effect of forcing Zed to take a deep breath. He needed to protect Reyne’s family. The last thing he should do was panic.

“I’m just anxious to get onto the planet. Reyne’s family pod has been without a dria-coldar for a long time.”

The captain nodded. “I can’t say I blame you. I’d be climbing the walls in your situation.”

“It hasn’t been easy,” Zed conceded. He’d had a lot of time to think over everything—too much time if the conclusions he’d drawn about his own lifestyle and behavior were anything to go by. Ever since Reyne had mated with Daku he’d wanted a yala-coldar with the same traits. So why then had he been dating shallow, unsuitable partners on Jernodria? The person he thought he was didn’t seem to match his own behavior. It had been a very sobering moment of introspection.

The captain moved to a computer screen on the wall and checked the ship’s status. “We should be in range to take a shielded transport to the surface very soon.” He turned his gaze to Zed, the tilt of his head suggesting that he was considering something carefully. “I’ll pilot the transport. I think it’s best to keep this low key, for now. The last thing I want to do is stir up the warmongering attitudes we’ve been hearing reports of on Jernodria. I’d appreciate it if you don’t mention this to the crew, at least until we have Reyne’s podmates safely on the ship.”

It seemed like a strange thing to try and keep from his crew—wasn’t the rescue of Reyne’s podmates the whole point of letting Zed onto a military ship?—but he could understand not wanting to stir up the sort of anger and hatred currently rocking Jernodria.

“Seth wanted to organize a security team to escort me to the surface.”

The captain paled considerably. “Have you given him the coordinates yet?”

“No,” Zed answered both relieved to realize he wasn’t the only one suspicious of Seth’s motives but also a little disturbed by the captain’s reaction.

“Thank the goddess,” Bik said in a heartfelt show of emotion that Zed hadn’t seen from him before. The captain lifted a hand to his face, pinching the bridge of his nose in a typical Jernodrian expression of stress. “I haven’t wanted to share my suspicions, but I need your help on this, Zed. I think Seth, and perhaps a handful of other crewmen are the ones leaking information to the humans. Seth comes from a very wealthy and influential family and it’s no secret that they don’t want human DNA polluting the Jernodrian gene pool.”

“How can I help?” Zed asked warily.

“Give him the wrong coordinates. I’ll send a handpicked security team after him and we’ll catch him red-
handed without putting Reyne’s family in danger.” Bik seemed genuinely upset that he was dragging Zed into this mess. “You’ll need to go with him, since it will seem strange that you came all this way only to not go to the planet personally to collect them, but I promise you I’ll keep your brother’s family safe. I’ll check on them personally, and meet you back here as quickly as possible.”

The last thing Zed wanted was to get dragged into the middle of a conspiracy, but if what the captain suspected was true, then giving Seth the real coordinates could be disastrous.

“Okay,” he said, swallowing hard as the implications ran through his mind over and over. “I have the coordinates in my cabin. I’ll send them to you as soon as I get back there.”

“Send me the false ones too,” the captain said grimly, “so I can get my crew on the ground before Seth has an idea of what’s going on.”

“Okay,” Zed agreed as he turned toward the exit, the knot in his stomach squeezing tighter.

Ben frowned as a strange feeling permeated his mind. It was so vague at first that he really didn’t understand what he was sensing. He was about to leap out of bed when Daku reached over, placed a restraining hand on his shoulder, and then made a signal for him to stay quiet. Chris and Felicity both seemed to be sound asleep, but Naith was clearly aware of what was going on.

It took another few moments of confusion to realize what it was that had woken him.

The approach of a Jernodrian dria-coldar.

But it wasn’t one they knew. It had been quite a shock to Jernodrians visiting Earth to realize that they could sense the dria-coldars of their species. On their home planet, surrounded by other Jernodrians, nobody had ever noticed the skill, but it had come in quite handy on Earth.

Ben tried to slow his breathing. It was obvious Daku was being very cautious, his instinct to protect his family pod apparently extended to hiding them from their own people if need be. The more likely explanation to their unexpected visitor was that Zed had made contact with a dria-coldar on Earth and asked him to check in on them. Ben didn’t know the man very well, having only met him a few times before leaving Jernodria to come to Earth, but if he was anything like Reyne it was definitely the type of thing he would do.

But until they knew exactly who approached, Daku hiding them with his ability to project illusions was a sensible precaution. Hopefully an unnecessary one, but after what had happened to Reyne they needed to be prepared for any eventuality.

Now that he could think more clearly, Ben realized that far from being fast asleep—as he’d appeared by his position—Chris was wide awake and monitoring everything going on around him. It shouldn’t have surprised Ben that the man already had a gun in his hand.

“Daku,” a loud voice called from the back of the house. He spoke in Jernodrian. “My name is Bik. I’m the captain of the military vessel Audacious. Zed asked me to come get you.”

Ben glanced at Chris who was looking to Daku for an explanation. Daku shook his head and they all remained quiet.

The man seemed to be stumbling around the side of the house now, apparently suspecting the image of an abandoned building had been created, but unable to see through it. Only a yala-coldar’s own dria-coldar could see through his illusions.

“Daku, it’s safe to come out,” the Jernodrian called in between grumbled cuss words. It appeared that he was tripping over some of the discarded farming implements they’d left hanging around to give the appearance of a home that wasn’t occupied. It might have been funny to watch if the situation hadn’t been so damned serious. “Look Daku, I know you’re in there. You and your family can be safe. You just need to drop the damn illusion.”

Daku looked undecided, but a quick glance at Chris and he seemed to make up his mind. Moving silently Chris eased off the mattress and moved closer to one of the windows. The expression on his face when he turned back to them was not encouraging.

  Chapter Nine

Mason Riggs nodded at the orders his superior gave him, hiding his reaction to the distasteful scenario. He suspected that his loyalty was being tested now. The fact that he’d been uninjured in the shootout three months ago had left the agents around him very suspicious. Apparently no one had noticed in the confusion that he hadn’t raised his weapon, but with so many agents injured and him the only one able to walk away he’d heard the word “coward” mumbled behind his back a time or two.

He’d actually let the insult make him stronger. If a coward was a man who chose not to murder a being who wasn’t a threat to him, then he’d wear the label proudly.

“Do you understand your mission, agent?”

“Yes, sir,” he said with the correct amount of respect. “Eliminate the threat by any means possible.”

The man nodded, smiled and turned away, apparently satisfied that Mason intended to follow orders. Too bad the man didn’t know him better.

Chris shook his head as he held up his fingers to indicate to Daku that the Jernodrian wasn’t alone. He could see at least four humans wandering around the area. Only the Jernodrian had come close enough to the house to trip over the discarded tools and equipment, but the others were heavily armed and moved with the confidence of well-trained soldiers. They were also wearing the same safety gear and Kevlar vests the men who’d attacked them had worn on that awful day nearly three months ago.

Moving swiftly back to the bed and lowering to his knees, Chris carefully reached underneath and grabbed the other three handguns. Naith had shown the same sort of aversion to guns as Felicity held, but Ben had turned out to be a rather good shot. They didn’t have Reyne to throw a protective barrier around them this time, so Chris would need the man’s help. He could already see Naith protecting Felicity with his body. Chris had no doubt his Jernodrian husbands would die to protect her if they had to.

He quickly slid the clips into place, wincing at the soft sounds that seemed so loud in the quiet room, and then handed two of the guns to Ben.

The unknown Jernodrian kept up a constant prattle about how they were safe, how he’d been sent by Zed, and how he planned to escort them home. All obvious lies since he’d arrived with a group of men from the same organization responsible for Reyne’s death.

They all held still, waiting, watching, but instant adrenaline flooded Chris’s veins as the Jernodrian stepped onto the porch and reached for the handle of the front door.

“Are you sure you gave me the right coordinates?” Seth asked as he glanced around the area.

“I think so,” Zed said in as innocent a voice as he could muster. In truth they were a good fifty miles south of the farmhouse where his brother’s family had been safe for the past three months.

“There’s nothing for miles.” Seth turned a full circle and then brought his gaze back to Zed. “Would Daku be using an illusion? Was he expecting you?”

“I don’t know,” Zed said as a sliver of doubt wormed into his mind. Seth didn’t seem upset. He seemed worried. Whether that was worry for Reyne’s family or worry that he wouldn’t achieve his objective was anybody’s guess.

The sound of approaching vehicles was unnerving, but it was the humans inside them that turned Zed’s blood to ice.

“What the fuck?” Seth whispered almost soundlessly. “How the hell did they find us?”

Zed could barely believe what he was seeing. More than a dozen vehicles, both on land and in the air, converged on their position.

“Did you read the report Daku wrote on Reyne’s murder?”

Zed shook his head. He’d tried to, but just knowing that it was about his brother had blurred the words beyond comprehension. Seth nodded, but looked frantic as he signaled to the small group of dria-coldars he’d brought with them.

“They distracted Reyne by aiming for his husbands. He didn’t stop the exploding rounds that hit him in the chest. Everyone here is highly trained. Protect yourself. Do not drop your shield.”

sp; “Bik lied to me,” Zed said quickly. “He said you were trying to start a war.”

Seth gave him such an incredulous look that made Zed want to cringe.

  “Your family?” Seth asked quickly.

Zed shook his head, at least glad to realize he’d done something right. “I didn’t trust Bik either.”

“Damn,” the unknown dria-coldar swore as he tripped over the dip just inside the front door. He glanced around the room, seeing the projection Daku made of an empty, dusty farmhouse full of broken furniture, rather than the five people huddled on the bed and the four guns pointed his way. A second man stepped through the doorway. This one was human.

“Fuck,” the soldier wearing a military uniform said angrily as he walked into the room. “You said you knew where Chris Watts was hiding, but there’s no sign of recent occupation at this place either.”

The dria-coldar shook his head. “They’re in this area. There are several other abandoned farms a few miles from here. It’s more likely one of them.”

“Fine,” the human said in an annoyed tone, “we’ll search them too, but maybe you should have another chat to your source.” Chris felt a cold shiver work down his spine at the man’s emphasis of the word “chat.” It was obvious he meant a far more forceful interrogation than just talking.

“Okay,” the Jernodrian said sounding just as annoyed, “but contact your men. Tell them not to kill the Jernodrian who isn’t wearing a uniform. He’s the one who knows where they are.”

The human shook his head, and kicked a recliner hard enough that it flew across the room and cracked into the window beside the front door. He cursed loudly as he watched the dria-coldar exit the house.

But the human lingered a little longer, apparently waiting until the Jernodrian was out of earshot before lifting a communication device to his ear and contacting someone with a Jernodrian-sounding name.
