The Game Room Page 2

by Annabel Lucas

Ryan had left the door open enough that the room carried the moisture of the shower. The sun streamed in through the open window, and she strode to him crossing the sunbeams on the floor to slide into his arms. He was dressed. His dress shirt and slacks starched. The way they pressed against her skin aroused her- this was not a secret. He kissed her gently as his fingers explored her freshly shaved pussy.

“This,” he paused eyeing her work. “…is nice.”

Shane smiled as she kissed him back. Enjoying the caress. “I thought you might like it.”

“What time is she coming?” Shane asked.

He eyed his watch. “About twenty minutes.”

Hmmm. She kissed him again before she turned away.

  “Better hustle.”

Shane thought she’d brought clothes for every possible occasion, but she felt unprepared for this. Shane thumbed through the possible wardrobe choices in her suitcase and settled on matching undies and bra. She slipped into the ivory and lace undergarments and then slid into her favorite jeans. The denim hugged her curves, accentuating her toned thighs, and the way her waist curved into her hips. Simple and understated. This was what she did best. Trying without trying. She slid her pretty polished toes into fuzzy socks and her favorite boots. She had brought this for the flight home, but it would do today. Shane added a gold chain around her neck and diamond stud earrings in her ears. She glanced at the tops hanging in the closet and selected a fitted black blouse with an open back. Simple and sexy. The outfit would easily transition from their daytime shopping trip to outfit for the evening when they met Ryan and Anthony for dinner.

“Shanie, she’s downstairs,” Ryan called, looking up from his phone.

“Okay.” She smiled. Her heart quickened in her chest. Shane crossed the room to kiss him, she twisted side to side before turning completely around. “How do I look?”

He took her in silence. Eyes following the curves of her body before returning his gaze to hers. “Beautiful.”

He rose to hug her and kissed the top of her head. “Have fun, baby.” His eyes extended acceptance. He meant it. She was free to let the day be what it would be.

She smiled up into his eyes. “We will”.

  “See you at dinner.”

She smiled. “Okay.” The door clicked behind her and then she was riding down the golden elevator to have a girl’s afternoon with Tess.

The doors opened to reveal the hustle-bustle of the afternoon hotel lobby. She’d been locked away inside the hotel room long enough to forget the size of the crowd that resided in the lobby.

Shane scanned the expansive room for Tess and found her with a smile and a wave. Shane watched her, crossing the lobby, and as she drew close, Shane could hear Tess calling name.

  “Shanie! Shanie, over here.”

Shane smiled and moved through the crowd to meet Tess’s s embrace. “I’m so glad you can go out with me today. I wanted to go shopping and thought it would be fun to go together. Tonight, we can catch up with Ryan and Anthony for dinner and maybe dancing at the club? What do you think?” Tess asked.

Small talk eluded Shane. She was so happy to be with Tess, she just wanted to soak in the day. “I think that sounds wonderful.”

Tess’s hand had closed around hers, and Shane followed as Tess pulled her along. “Just over here. The Uber driver is great.” Tess turned and lowered her voice. “I scored him for the rest of the day. I don’t want to share him, and I don’t feel like waiting.” She cocked her head at Shane. “Do you?

Shane shook her head. “I didn’t even know you could do that.”

“Well, you know.” Tess shrugged. “I just ask until I get what I want.”

Shane nodded. I’m beginning to see that.

“Listen, there’s the best little shopping center, and they have a great sushi bar over there if you’d like to grab a bite to eat. What do you think?”

“Sounds perfect.” Shane said, “Honestly, I have no agenda for today. I’m up for anything.”

The crowd thinned as they stepped out of the hotel into the desert heat. The uber driver waited in the roundabout for them. Shane knew it was him before Tess spoke the introductions.

“Shane, this is Joe.” Joe was, well Joe was delicious. Tall and lean with dark hair and laughing eyes. “He’s driving us today.”

“Hi, Joe.” Shane smiled, feeling suddenly shy. The day seemed to want to bless her. Who was she to refuse those blessings? No wonder Tess wanted him.

Tess didn’t seem to notice her nervousness. Joe opened the back door, Tess slid in and gestured for Shane to follow. Tess continued on with his bio as he closed the door and went around to the driver’s side.

“He’s a resident at the med center. He drives on the side for extra cash. He’s abandoned his uber route to drive us around all day. Shane smiled at him, as he climbed into the front seat. Shane caught his eye in the rearview mirror. Yes. Of course, he had.

It was Shane’s turn for introductions. “Joe, this is Shane. She’s the best. She had a beautiful weekend planned for us, but due to some unexpected events, our plans were waylaid. She’s been taking such good care of us.”

“Hi, Shane.” He nodded at her from the driver seat. “Nice to meet you.” His voice was warm and low. The smile she’d seen in his eyes intensified as he spoke.

“Nice to meet you too,” Shane said, her voice soft.

Tess pressed on, “Joe, will you take us over to the Boutique?”

He nodded, “As you wish.” Tess laughed and turned her attention to Shane. “Shanie have you spent much time in Vegas?”

“Not much, I learned most of what I know about the places to be from internet research for our trip with you and your family,” Shane admitted.

“That’s okay, we’ll have some fun today. I know all the best places. Joe, before we go to the Boutique, would you take us down the strip?”

He winked at them from the mirror. “You got it.” Besides being sexy as hell, and pre-med. Joe also grew up in Vegas. It was like getting a private tour of the city.

Tess leaned into Shane pointing out landmarks, her body soft and warm. “Over there is the Bellagio, and the Paris Hotel, there is the…”. Shane listened to the monologue but knew she’d be unable to regurgitate the information she’d been given, not while Tess sat pressed against her. Shane was more interested in the way Tess’s soft curves fit against hers than any building that lay beyond the window.

After taking in the Vegas landscape, Joe took a few quick turns and pulled into a sprawling mall that sported palm trees and desert landscaping. Rock formations and high-end stores dotted the shopping horizon.

Shane soon discovered that shopping with Tess was an experience on its own. When they stepped into a store, any store, the staff knew her at once and had coveted items set aside with the hopes that she might like them.

Shane leaned into Tess when they’d come to the third store and the staff reaction to her was the same.

“I think I’ve been doing this wrong. I have never had anyone so excited to see me when I’m shopping.”

Tess laughed. “It’s not me, it’s the money. They are like bees to honey. They like my spending habits, that’s all. It opens all kinds of doors.” She paused, “Come see my favorite store. Let’s look for something you might like. I love your outfit, but tonight may call for something,” Tess paused, “a little different.”

Shane nodded and followed. Entranced by her hostess and the way she walked in the world. At the center of the outdoor mall lay a boutique. It was, in fact, called, The Boutique. It was an elegant stand-alone building that invited the destination shopper inside, rather than pulling in the general masses.

Shane followed Tess, and when the door closed behind them, the outside sounds ceased. “Oh, hello, Miss Tess.” Shane looked for the owner of the voice but didn’t see him immediately.

“Hello, Steven,” Tess replied she smiled warmly at a small impeccably dressed man who emerged from behind a clothing
rack. “How are you today?

  “Very well, Miss Tessa.”

“Steven, this is my friend, Shane. We’re doing little shopping for a dinner date we have tonight.”

“That makes for a lovely day. Do you have anything special in mind?” He asked.

“I was thinking of your version of a little black dress.” Tess smiled at Steven and Shane felt like she was missing something.

Steven raised his eyebrows and returned her smile. “A little black dress. I may have just the thing. Is this for you or for Miss Shane?”

“Well, I imagine we will both need something, but the little black dress would be for her,” Tess replied.

“I understand.” He turned to Shane, formal and polite. “Please come with me.” Shane followed obediently taking in the beautiful outfits on display, and shoes. Ohhhh. Her breath escaped her lips in audible appreciation at a pair of exquisite pumps. Steven turned to her and smiled. “I’ll have Sophia bring some for you to try on.”

From the outside, The Boutique seemed compact and small. Once inside, the store transformed into an expanse of space, filled with beautiful things. Shane wanted to touch everything she saw.

As they moved around the shop to the dressing rooms at the center of the store, the displays shifted from business attire to daytime casual and then, to lovely more formal night wear. Shane let her fingers trail the clothes on the racks. In an inviting nook, Shane saw the athletic wear and made a mental note to check that out before they left. Steven led her though the lacy undergarments just before they reached the posh dressing room. Her fingers suddenly felt too impatient to wait. Shane reached out to touch the silk and lace hanging from satin hangers. Silk stockings and garters. Sexy. So damn sexy. Ohhhh. Once again, her appreciation was audible.

  “Steven?” She asked.

“Would you like to try on some undergarments as well Miss?”

“Yes, please.” I would. I really, really would.

She heard Tess’s lilting laugh and realized the dressing rooms formed a circle in the middle of the store. While they appeared isolated, to provide a private shopping experience, they were actually right next to each other. Whoever designed this store was a genius.

“Miss Shane?” Steven had pulled back a shimmery tapestry to reveal the dressing room on the other side, “Right this way.” The room soft and inviting. A large, padded bench sat beside a simple full-length mirror. The room was decorated in hues of soft creams and sage. So simple and incredibly inviting.

A woman appeared behind Steven and he nodded to her with an introduction. “Sophia will assist you with all your needs today.”

A small woman dressed in a simple white dress stepped into the room. Shane thought she contended with her curls. At that moment, she promised herself that she would never again fuss over her tangles. Sophia’s mane of auburn hair fell over her shoulders in ringlets. Gorgeous.

“I love your hair,” Shane said, and Sophia’s pretty face broke into a smile.

“Thank you.” The woman’s voice was as warm as the color of the curls that framed her face. The white linen dress, their equivalent of a uniform, complemented the look of the boutique. Simple and beautiful. The white dress was tailored to accentuate the female shape and allowed for the woman’s beauty to outshine the outfit. Sophia was delightful; complete with an hour-glass figure and shapely legs. Her pretty feet slid into peep-toed pumps showing off coral-colored toenail polish.

Steven leaned into Sophia, providing direction. “Miss Shane is looking for some evening wear, I believe a little black dress is in order. She’s with Tessa Rossi.”

Understanding spread across Sophia’s lovely face. “Oh, how lovely.”

He continued “I believe Miss Shane would also like to try on some underthings to complement the dress and forgive me if I am mistaken, but Miss Shane, I think you were interested in some shoes as well?”

  Shane nodded. “Yes, please.”

Sophia nodded, “Yes miss. Let me gather some things and I’ll be right back. Feel free to undress.”

Shane continued to nod like a bobblehead doll. Yes, of course. Wonderful. Sophia slid the curtain to the wall and disappeared in search of the perfect little black dress. Shane’s heart rose in her chest, her excitement all at once too much. She clapped her hands and caught the image of herself in the full-length mirror. Her excitement brimmed over and caused her cheeks to turn an intriguing shade of red. Then she remembered Sophia’s instruction, she sat down on the bench in the dressing room and unzipped her boots. Shane slipped out of the worn leather that held her feet, unbuttoned her jeans and shimmied out of them. Shane was contemplating removing her shirt when the curtain slid open and Tess slipped inside her dressing room.

“Hi!” She was dressed and glowing. “What do you think?”

“Oh my god. Seriously, I love this place!” Shane’s words tumbled out. Her state of undress is nearly forgotten.

“I know!” Tess gushed. “Me too. They are the absolute best.” She leaned in conspiratorially “and you haven’t even seen the clothes.” Tess was laughing now, leaning into Shane like an old girlfriend. Her body, warm and soft, against Shane’s bare leg.

Shane mirrored Tess’s energy, “I think I’d like to be Sophia when I grow up.” She laughed.

Tess nodded. “God yes, She’s wonderful. I have Nan today- who is also wonderful. Steven doesn’t mess around with the staff. You can’t go wrong here.”

“Tess?” A soft voice called her name from beyond the curtain. In a moment, Tess was up and moving, she kissed Shane’s cheek, and whispered, “have fun.” Before Shane could digest what just happened, the curtain closed, and she was left alone.

Shane raised her hand to her cheek. She could still feel Tess’s lips against her skin and the warmth of her body against her thigh. She stared at the girl in the mirror, ignited by the kiss. A pink blush colored her cheeks. Shane ran through a mental check list: Hair - good. Makeup - good. Long legs, pretty feet, scantily clad in ivory lace and satin panties – very good. Shane hooked her fingers under the bottom of her top and pulled it over her head. Now, she stood completely exposed in a bra that matched her undies. She worried she had messed up with her hair pulling the top over her head like that. She turned to look at the mirror. Ironically, it had made her hair look better. This mirror was doing wonders for her. She wanted a magic mirror like this at home.

“Knock Knock?” Sophia stood on the other side of the curtain. Shane could hear clothing rustling in her arms.

Shane paused now, not sure of the protocol. “Come in?”

Sophia’s hand slid inside the curtain and pulled it aside discretely before stepping inside with her. She smiled at Shane,

“I think I have some things you’re going to like. You have a lovely figure, dear. Take your pick, darling. Were these the shoes you’d noticed on the way in?” Sophia asked, showing Shane the shoebox. Sophia’s demeanor set Shane at ease and suddenly, standing in the small space in nothing but her bra and panties didn’t seem like such an odd occurrence.

Shane took the box from Sophia’s outstretched hands and opened the lid. “Ohhhh, yes. These were the ones.” Shane turned them over in her hands, the shoes were sliver and had jeweled spike heels that shimmered in the light. Amazing. “You and I are meant to be.” Shane whispered to the shoes.

Sophia laughed. “I love those, and they wear well too. Steven spends his time finding lovely clothing that look and feel good when you’re wearing it. What would you like to try first?”

Shane looked up from the shoes in her lap to find a selection of little black evening dresses. “Oh,” She gushed. “I really like that one,” Shane pointed to the one she meant, and Sophia slid it off the hanger, presenting it to Shane to try on.

“I can help,” Sophia offered. With her skilled fingers, she unclasped the little buttons and unzipped the garment for Shane to step into. “Here you go, dear.” Sophia held out her hand and pulled Shane to her feet. The woman drew the garment up Shane’s
body as she stood. “Now, just turn around and you can see how you look.”

Shane stood in front of the mirror taking in her image in the dress. It had a silky fabric that caressed her skin, was sleeveless with a plunging neckline. The dress slipped over her hips with a flowing fabric that shifted as she moved. Shane turned from side to side, looking to see herself from behind. It was backless. She could see her ivory bra as it crossed the middle of her spine.

“I guess I’d need to find a different- “She was thinking of the selection of underwear she’d brought back at the hotel.

“Do you mind?” Sophia asked, interrupting Shane’s train of thought. She noticed Sophia pointing at her bra. She guessed she need not reply when she felt Sophia’s fingers unhook the clasp and slip the straps off her shoulders. Goosebumps covered her body, and Shane tried to stay as still as possible.

Shane gasped in surprise as Sophia’s hands moved under the sheer fabric of the evening dress to remove her bra. The cups of her bra fell away and she felt Sophia’s fingers against her belly as they pulled the bra away from her chest and out from under her dress. She’d done that a million times over but never had someone else preform it for her.

“That’s better. Not what do you think?” Sophia asked.

Shane’s laughter broke out, in an attempt to ease her nerves. Sophia was not deterred. She fussed over Shane, turning her so she could examine the dress and checking if it was the perfect fit. She smoothed the dress’s silky lines over Shane’s hips and toyed with the hem until she was satisfied.

“I like it. I really like it,” Shane said, and she meant every word. She wondered what Ryan’s reaction to her would be once he saw her in the dress. It made her feel a little more exposed than she was used to. In the air-conditioned space of the little dressing room, her nipples had already begun to harden. The lines of her body quite visible under the silky fabric of the dress.

“Do you want to try on the shoes with this one?” Sophia asked.

  Shane smiled. “Yes, please.”
