Zorvak's Rescue: Compatibles Page 9

He bent his head and gently brushed my cheek with his lips. When I sighed, he caught my little gasp with a searing kiss, thrusting his tongue deep within my parted lips. I was lost, sinking in a sea of overwhelming pleasure. I was vaguely aware when he wrapped one arm around my waist, pulling me close. His fingertips teased my spine before heading south, cupping the curve of my ass, squeezing tightly. I opened to him, mentally and physically as our tongues swirled together.

The feel of his hand as it caressed my body - I savored every touch. His fingertips skimmed their way up until he cupped my breast, lightly pinching the taunt dark pebble. I threw my head back, and moaned while he skimmed my jaw with light kisses. Moist heat surged forward, making me wet between my legs. “Ohh…” The sigh was loud in the silent cave. Only the sound of our heavy breathing, my moans of pleasure, and the trickle of water could be heard.

He pulled me hard against his body, closing the small space, letting me feel his desire. “I want you, Camilla Ryan,” his strong voice rumbled against my ear. “Tell me you want this.”

I couldn’t think as he lazily caressed my neck with his kisses, heading lower. With his head bent downward, he lavished my breast with his tongue. Tell me.

  Oh…God…Yes! Don’t stop!

My arms looped around his neck as my pelvis writhed against him, needing more. With a pop, his mouth left my breast.

  “Pleassee…I need more.”

With a light touch, I wrapped my hand around his long thick sex, feeling how velvety smooth, and brutally strong he was. It moved. I gasped but didn’t release him.

His fingers trailed down to my thatch of curls. One finger plunged inside. “So soft,” he whispered against my ear as he pumped his finger in and out. “So tight.” He added another.

“I need.” My head tilted back, my legs weakened. It had been far too long and my body burned with desire.

“What do you need?” he asked, his intense stare held my mine. I couldn’t read his solid black eyes, but I could feel how much he held himself back.

  “You! I need you!”

With one swift movement, he hoisted me up. My legs instantly wrapped around his hips. As he carried me out of the water, my hips writhed against him. I needed him in me. Now! I couldn’t remember a time that anything felt so good, so right.

Soft cave foliage cushioned my body as he laid me down and braced himself above me.

His eyes, once solid black, now swirled with distinctions of the lightest black, almost gray, and the endless pit of darkness. They kept changing colors. I quivered with want, just from his hungry stare alone.

He leaned down, his mouth skimming my ear. “I am going to fuck you now.” Oh…God. Had anyone ever said that to me before? I moistened just before he breached my body. Slight pain gave way to intense pleasure as he stretched my soft channel. I could feel he held himself back.

“More…,” I cried as my nails dug into his shoulders. “Give me more.” He paused for a mere second. “No, don’t stop!” I thrust my hips, needing everything. Something broke loose inside him. He surged forth with unbridled passion. The length of him digging in.

My orgasm thundered through me at a force I hadn’t felt before. I arched my hips as my belly and thighs quivered. My sex gripped him tighter as I lost myself in the intense pleasure, uncaring of anything else around me.

Just as my orgasm released me, my eyes widened in surprise as something long and hard breached my nether region as he still pounded into me. “Oh, God!” A raw scream echoed on the cave walls. Having both areas penetrated at once sent an orgasm spiraling into me with more force than before. Blind with passion, I kept coming and coming and coming.

“You feel so fucking good,” he said with grunted words just as he emptied himself inside me.

  An Unexpected Surprise

  Zorvak

With one hand propping up my head, I laid beside Cami, watching her sleep. Never had I seen a creature so different, so beautiful. My fingers played with her silky strands of fiery red hair that fanned around her head. Her creamy skin felt soft underneath my fingertips, too soft. The hot sun had turned her shoulders and face a light red, which made her more alluring to me.

My fingertip traced the edges of her jaw with featherlike touches until her eyes fluttered open. Her lashes kissed her cheeks a couple of times before she raised her eyes to mine and smiled.

“Sorry, I must have fallen asleep.”

I softly brushed the hair away from her face. “You were tired.” And beautiful. And amazing.

She pushed up from the ground and faced me. I knew what she wanted to know, but instead of asking, she sucked her lower lip between her teeth. I could look at her odd, beautiful eyes all day. One hand reached out and hesitated. I waited. She dropped her hand onto my abs, tracing each muscle with her forefinger.

My sex jerked, then started to grow. With curious eyes, she turned to me and asked, “How?”

  “How what?”

“How did you do what you did?” I chuckled, the sound low as it vibrated in the cave. She couldn’t even say it. Her hand swatted my chest. “Stop that.”

I knew what she asked. Her male species must be similar in some ways, very different in others. As she stared at my fully erect and very hard sex, a slit opened just below, letting my ha’us snake out, looking for a dark entrance.

Her eyes widened in fascination. “What is that?”

“It is called a ha’us. I am guessing human males do not have this.”

She shook her head, her eyes never leaving my sex or the ha’us. I really didn’t understand the fascination. It was a little shorter and thinner than my sex.

“What does it do?” She pulled her eyes away, catching my gaze.

“It is for your pleasure.” I grinned wickedly as I caught her around the waist and pulled her on top of me. She gasped and braced her hands on my shoulders. “Let me show you.”

Slowly, I lowered her down. Impaled her on both my sex and ha’us, at the same time. Her sex tightly squeezed mine, to the point of pleasurable pain. “Tell me what you like?”

With our gazes locked, I felt the intimacy of the situation as she rocked up and down, her hips swirling in a slow sensual dance.

I like it when you talk dirty.

Hmm… talk dirty. I pondered the answer until a wicked grin quirked my lips. I sat up, wrapped my arms around her. My lips skimmed her ear as I said, “You mean when I say I want to fuck you? That is not dirty, Ji’si, that is honesty.”

Her breath hitched with my declaration. To be so innocent, yet not. I needed more. I needed it all. Holding her hips, I surged forth, filling her completely. Her nails clawed at my chest. It didn’t take long to hear her shouts of pleasure as she threw her head back. Her core clinched my sex tight, trying to suck me in. That was all it took. My release shot fast and hard as I basked in the sea of pleasure with each pulse of my sex.

My arms caught her as she collapsed on top of me. The light in the cavern had all but disappeared, saying it was almost time to leave. Savoring the feel of her in my arms, her bare skin next to mine, I didn’t want to leave just yet. The next couple of days would be dangerous.

We laid in silence, only the low sounds of our breathing could be heard until a loud growling noise startled me.

“Sorry,” she said shyly. “It’s been a while since I’ve had any food. If you can call it that.”

I grunted. “It cannot be worse than what they fed me.”

She cocked her head to the side and smiled. “We will know soon enough. I’m sure Oddle will feed us when we get there.”

The thought of taking the Jaurians with us still didn’t sit right with me. It would be dangerous enough without them slowing us down. With her cheek against my chest, I stroked her back and tried to think of a way to get us all to safety.

We would have to steal a shuttle and head to the space station without getting caught. The other problem - hiding Camilla from
prying eyes. An unknown species, especially female, would bring an enormous amount of currency on the black market.

I glanced up at the tiny opening in the ceiling. All the light had all but disappeared. With one last stroke of her hair, I reluctantly said, “We need to go.”

“I know,” she said with a low, penitent voice.

She pushed up, freeing me from underneath her, and went for her clothes while I grabbed the loincloth. The shirt she wore shimmied down her lithe body, and then she slid one leg and then the other into her shorts. I stared in wonderment until she looked up and caught me.

“What?” she asked as she flipped her hair out from under her shirt.

I shook my head a little. “You are an odd, beautifully strange creature.”

“Is that an insult or a compliment?” She furrowed her brow.

I laughed as I held out my hand. “A compliment.”

Just as we headed out, she tore her hand away from mine. “Wait!” She ran back and retrieved the incinerator. “I almost forgot this.” She grinned, holding up the incinerator as she walked back to me.

I had the whip coiled in my other hand. No way I would forget the only weapon I could use. The fact I forgot the incinerator…I shook my head in annoyance. I needed to get my mind on the task ahead and not on the female beside me.

The air outside felt good on my skin, more like home. This would be an easier trek than the one earlier this morning, but we had a lot of ground to cover in a short time.

“How do we avoid the busy streets? I don’t have my cloak for cover.”

That was a good question, one I didn’t have an answer for. “We stick to the more secluded pathways.”

  “Like back alleys?”

“Yes. And then we kill anyone who threatens you.”

She stiffened and instantly I felt her aversion to death, but she never said anything.

The moon lit the way as we walked in silence. I kept my mind on the task to come. As Captain, I had to be ready for anything. That was my job. As I was going over the layout of the space station in my head, Cami broke the silence.

  “Tell me about your mother.”

I scrunched my nose at the odd question. With the dangerous task of getting home, my family was the last thing on my mind. I glanced in her direction and noted the pained look on her face, but not the cause. If telling her more about them made her feel better…

“There is not much to tell. Cadaline, my mother, was a good bond mate who raised us to respect authority, abide by the laws of the house and the land.”

  “That sounds so western movie-ish.”

“I do not understand you sometimes.” I shook my head and continued. “My father worked as an enforcer. He was fair, but stern. Mother was the same.”

“Did you play much? I mean with your brother and sister?”

My mind drifted back to a time long forgotten. It wasn’t happy or sad, it just was. “No. We busied ourselves with chores and studies.”

  “How sad.”

Her response startled me. It wasn’t sad, it was normal. With a raised chin, I responded, “It was not.” I glanced at her from the corner of my eye and noticed she scoffed once and shook her head. It spurred me onward, to defend my family. “My sister tried to get me to play, but I had other things that needed tending to.”

  “Like what?”

“You ask a lot of questions.”

She ignored me and continued with even more questions. “Were your parents affectionate?”

  “What? No! Of course not.”

She stopped short, turned, and stared at me with an incredulous look. After a mere second, she smiled sadly and said, “Of course they weren’t.”

Irritated, I said sternly, “Tell me about your family.”

She glanced at me, then shrugged her shoulders just before we started walking again.

“Fine. The air on earth is so bad, Mom refused to let me play outside. Instead, we baked cookies together, had pillow fights, played dolls. Anything she could do to make me happy. Dad was a strong man who I had wrapped around my little finger. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I had chores to do and I had to mind my manners, but I was happy. Every night before bedtime, mom tucked me into bed, read me a story, then kissed me goodnight.” She paused for a moment. “It’s because of them I became the first female pilot for a deep space mission. Mom and dad always told me I could do anything I wanted with hard work and dedication.”

“That sounds…,” oddly happy…, “very different than my own.”

“That’s why it’s so important that I get home. I can’t stand the thought of them suffering.”

I swallowed hard before I admitted the truth. “Cami…”

“Don’t say it!” Her words were sharp like a knife.

I stood straight and steeled my spine. She needed to know the truth. “When I told you I would take you home, I thought you were from Ulaya. Your brain patterns are like mine, so close in fact, I never questioned your species. There is no way to know the location of your planet.” I am sorry, Cami.

She never responded but I could feel her sorrow and pain tinted with anger. I imagine I would feel the same way if I could not get back to Ulaya. Not because of family, but duty.

  What Will I Do?

  Cami

I knew it! Deep inside I knew he couldn’t take me home! Hell, even I can’t find my own planet. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack. My fists clenched while my blood raced. I could hear each beat throb in my ears. Tears pinched at the back of my eyes as I swallowed hard. I was angry, but not at Zorvak. I have no doubt he would take me if at all possible. Why did everything have to go so wrong? Why couldn’t Lara and the others be here with me? If the Exploration One had entered the wormhole before the meteor shower, then we would all be here together.

Okay, get over yourself. If we were all here, then everyone would be fearing for their lives. If I hadn’t found Munic and Oddle, who knows what would’ve happened to me. I blew out my worries and shoved everyone from my mind. I had to concentrate, get back to the house without my cloak.

One thing kept bothering me though. “What will happen to me when everyone gets home?”

Zorvak kept his eyes on the city that loomed in front of us. “What do you mean?”

“When you, Munic and Oddle get home, what will happen to me? Where will I go?”

“Where would you like to go?”

I would like to stay with you. “I don’t know.”

He never asked me to stay with him, never even offered it as a possibility. Whatever. I wasn’t that girl. I didn’t need anyone to complete me, take care of me, any of that bullshit. I just needed to get off this damn planet.

The cold air chilled my bones causing an involuntary shiver. It had to be around 40 degrees--- maybe 45. All I knew? Without my cloak, it was cold!

We were close now. Instead of heading to the main area, we darted around behind one of the buildings. Keeping more in the shadows. The adrenaline warmed me a little. Either that, or I concentrated more on keeping us safe.

Down one alley, only to slip into another. I could hear the sounds of hearty laughter, hear footsteps as others passed by without notice. I even got the occasional whiff of whatever they smoked.

Just as we turned a corner… something grinned wickedly, showing razor sharp teeth. There were four of them.

“Well, what do we have here?” He stared straight at me, his beady eyes roaming my body.

Zorvak stepped in front of me, blocking their view. “Leave now and you will not get hurt.” His voice was a low deadly threat. Cami, these are Razzst. They fight viciously--- together--- and will not give up.

Pack animals. My heart beat double time, my breath hitched.

“What have you found for us tonight?”

I turned sharply at the sound. Three more came up behind us, boxing us in. I licked my lips and tried to think. It was a hard thing to do when you were scared sh
itless. Think!

I will kill you before I let them get their hands on you. Don’t worry.

Did Zorvak just say he would kill me? With my back against his, I faced three opponents while Zorvak faced four. Gee thanks. But try killing them first.

When they charged at us, without thinking I pointed the gun at the one closest to me and fired. The other two stopped dead in their tracks and stared at the pile of ashes before widening their eyes at me.

A little help here Zorvak grunted.

I lifted the gun at another one, but they both turned and ran. I whipped around, pointed the gun at one that wasn’t touching Zorvak and fired, before turning it on the other one.

“Lortus! Let’s go!” He stared unmoving at me while trying to get the other one’s attention. My gun pointed at his chest. If he moved. He died.

What is taking you so long?

  He has a knife and I don’t.

  What about your whip?

It wouldn’t have worked; they were too close.

If you can throw him off you for a second, I’ll shoot his ass.

Be ready. On the count of three. One…two…

Zorvak shoved the guy away and quickly stepped back. I swung my body around and fired at the same time before quickly turning it back to the other one. He stood with his hands up, a frightened look on his face.

I have never seen them scared before.

Good, maybe they’ll, I quickly glanced at the ash piles, I mean, maybe he’ll learn a lesson?

Glancing from me to Zorvak, the guy dropped his hands, spun, and ran as fast as he could go.

I dropped my arm to my side. Tears filled my eyes as my body trembled. Zorvak must have noticed. He pulled me close and wrapped his arms around me.

How can someone be so strong and so weak at the same time?

He didn’t ask mockingly, but I wasn’t in the mood. I stepped back, wiped my eyes and said, How can someone be so sweet and such an asshole at the same time?
