How could she possibly live without it?
Groaning against his lips, she let herself dissolve. She sank into him, let him soak her up and make her a part of him. She knew now there would be no going back and prayed to the Goddess who watched over her that she wouldn’t come to regret the decision.
In for a penny, in for a pound, her grandmother had said. Running her hands down the hard, muscular plane of his back, she found the hem of his dark t-shirt and snuck her fingers beneath. His skin felt hot and smooth, like flame itself, and she could feel the strength of him as his muscles flexed under her touch.
She had only seconds to savor the tactile sensations before he reared up above her and tore the cloth from his own back. Capturing her wrists in one large hand, he pressed them to the pillows above her head. “No distractions, little witch. I get to touch you first.”
She might have protested, if she could have caught her breath, and if the sound of his tearing through the stretchy fabric of her top hadn’t sent her head spinning with excitement. Wide-eyed, she gazed up at him, saw his mouth curve into a predatory grin, and felt the tip of something sharp as a knife slip beneath the fabric at her hip. She looked down just in time to see a razor-edged claw slice through her panties before the talon disappeared, leaving lean, callused fingers to glide over her sensitive skin.
“So pretty,” he rumbled in a voice as deep and dark as the heart of a mountain. He brushed the scraps of cloth away from her skin and sat back on his heels, dragging his gaze over her like another caress.
Wynn shivered uncontrollably, not from cold, but from the heat building up inside her. He made her feel hot and wild and needy, and now that she had given in to the desire, all she wanted was to feel him inside her, because nothing less would sate it.

When not writing (as if that ever happens), she enjoys spoiling her horse, playing with her dogs, concocting all sorts of yummies (both liquid and solid), and most of all reading things someone else had to agonize over.
