As far as Tanya was concerned, life was all about luck. Where you were born right, up to the decisions you made and the openings you might be lucky enough to grab. These people did not want to live in these shit holes, but they had no choice. Hell, her own place wasn’t much better, although she had nicer neighbors. Her apartment was above a restaurant with a neon flashing sign, and it was open into the early hours of the morning. Still, it was home.
A couple of youths sat on the stone stairway leading up to the building that she was approaching. She would ignore them, unless they asked for her attention. Tanya had little fear of what went on these streets, she’d lived and worked in them, all her life. She knew that she fit in well. Her black skin just melded in with the other residents. Her uniform, now that stood out like a beacon light. She had no care though, she was proud of what she’d achieved in her life. Okay, her parents had given her a good start, but still, she’d worked hard to gain respect as an adult.
The two youths just watched her pass by, whispering and laughing to themselves, but they were respectful. Most around her knew her on first name terms, certainly plenty of the women did anyway. She’d arrested many of their sons, brothers, fathers and husbands. Her philosophy of innocent until proven guilty had worked good. She treated her arrests fairly and with respect, unlike many of her colleagues who thought they were better than these people, when in fact for many, it was luck that kept them out of the gutter.
The wooden stairway had no carpet and was littered with everything from dirty diapers to sharp needles. Walls covered in graffiti and doors with double, and even treble, locks. The door she wanted had no locks on, clearly someone with confidence lived here. She knocked loudly, saying nothing.
A large busty woman answered the door, chewing gum, her mouth masticating it to death.
“Cops at the door!” she yelled back down the inside hallway, slamming the door in Tanya’s face.
Tanya waited patiently, this was only a routine questioning.
The door opened again, only wider this time. It needed to be wide to fit the large frame of the tall, well built young man who stood before her. He said nothing, simply raised his eyebrows, questioningly.
“Need to speak to a Jason Bailey, you know him?” she asked, showing her badge.
“Why would a pretty thing like you want to speak to an ugly mug like that?” he asked.
Now you know I can only give that information to him,” she replied putting her badge away. “So, Jason, want to do this here, in the car, or down at the station?” she asked him.
“I like you, you’ve got balls,” he smiled back at her.
“Well, not the last time I looked I didn’t,” she couldn’t help but smile at his compliment and when he smiled back at her, her heart fluttered at that lopsided grin of his. This guy was one handsome dude and he was stirring things inside of her that he really shouldn’t be. Get a grip she chastised herself, he might be attractive but he’s likely to be on the wrong side of the law.
“I’ll come down to your car, but you only got me for ten minutes,” he said, walking out the door and putting his arm around her shoulders as if they were lovers. Tanya shrugged it off and walked on ahead.
“Hey, Jay, where you goin’ with that bitch?” the busty female shouted from the door.
“This is a lady, she aint no one’s bitch,” he said, not bothering to look back. “I’m escorting her back to her car, seeing her safely out of this neighborhood.”
He climbed in the car and her partner drove away, making it look like he had no choice but to go to the station, for anyone watching. They pulled up on another, quieter street.
“Your bike, Jason, the number plates were recognized as part of a robbery,” Tanya did the talking. “You got anything to tell us about that?”
“Some fucker stole my bike. I reported it days ago,” he said, looking a bit pissed off over the whole affair. “Seems that the only way you lot would look for my bike, is if it’s involved in a crime, otherwise I can kiss it goodbye.”
“We don’t have the bike, Jason, only the CCTV footage of the robbery, there were two of them, one rider and pillion, any idea who they might be?” Tanya asked hopefully, but not really expecting an answer.”
“Well, had you looked for it when I first reported it stolen, it might not have been used in this robbery, and I might have my bike.” he said back at her. “Can I see the footage of the robbery, maybe I can identify them?” he suggested.
“We’re still working on that, Jason, but we will recognize them ourselves, in time,” the male driver officer piped in.
Tanya could tell this was getting them nowhere, she didn’t believe that Jason was involved in the robbery. It seemed the truth was that his bike had been stolen. She wasn’t too sure how good an idea it was to let him see the footage, if he did identify them, he might take the law into his own hands.
She heard the bikes approach before spotting them, the deep throaty roar of eight Harley’s. They pulled up by the patrol car, surrounding it.
“Hey, Jay, what you doin’ in that car?” a young woman shouted across the street to him.
Tanya looked in the direction of the voice, a low slung harley with a rather large man and a slender petite woman, looked across at them..
“Looks like your ten minutes are up,” Jason said from the back of the car. “Nice meeting you Officer Jefferson, maybe we can do this again sometime?” he leered at her, his gaze lingering on her chest, even though it looked flat in her jacket. “Maybe somewhere a little more private though.”
“In your dream, Jason,” she retorted, before pressing the button that unlocked the rear doors.
Just before he exited the car, she asked him one last question. “You know anyone with spiky blonde hair?”
“I might, then again, I might not,” with that, he casually strolled away.

Tanya watched as he joined the bikers, most had female pillion passengers. He approached one of the girls who was dressed in tight leather pants with an open leather jacket. Underneath she only wore her bra, bright red and lacy. Without a break in his stride, he kissed her full on the lips with a long lingering and passionate kiss, his hands wandering under her jacket and into a cup of her bra, squeezing her breast. She arched her back and let out a loud exaggerated moan. Wolf whistles and loud whooping sounds echoed around the bikers.
Tanya watched him with disdain, she wasn’t shocked by his actions, just simply thought he acted like an immature kid. He turned and looked directly at her, his hands still on the woman’s breast.
“I think that show was you for you girl,” Alfie laughed.
“Punk,” she replied, “Not a chance in hell I’d go near that dick.”
Many of the bikers started to pull away, but the police car could still not move out as it remained surrounded by a few bikers.
Jason climbed pillion behind another buxom blonde. “He seems to like his women blonde,” Alfie laughed.
“Well, that means I’m safe,” she chuckled. “Not a hair on my body is blonde. My hair is as black as my skin.”
“You think he’s anything to do with the robbery?”
“Nah, you?” she asked, in reply.
“Early days to tell, you just don’t know with these bikers, they’ve got their fingers in plenty of pots,” he said, cautiously.
Just before they left, the blonde under Jason’s direction rode her bike over to the patrol car, pulling up at the side. Jason leaned down to look through Tanya’s window.
“Now promise me, Officer Jefferson” Jason said loudly, over the noise, “you’ll make finding my stolen bike a priority?”
She saluted him, “I haven’t got anything better to do, sir,” she replied, sarcastically.
The bike drove away and Jason raised his hand in farewell.
“Punk.” Tanya repeated to herself, as he drove off.
Alfie turned on the engine, readying to pull away, when the radio called out an emergency, it was time to head off to the next c
rime scene.
Pulling up a few streets away where an incident was in progress, a woman was holding a gun to a biker’s head. at some traffic lights.
“Looks like we can’t get away from the bikers tonight,” Tanya remarked, readying her gun.
They pulled up some distance from the crime scene, hidden behind the ever growing crowd of onlookers. Strange how people are drawn to danger and drama, but yet walk right past a body that might have collapsed on the road side. She could never figure out the psychology of people.
“Coming through, come on people, let’s move on,” she said, not too loudly so she did not startle the woman holding the gun. From what she could see, the woman looked emotionally unstable so they’d have to tread with care, one surprise and the biker’s brain could be all over the road.
She pushed her way to the front, managing to get a few feet away from the armed woman. Other police officers had arrived and were taking a stance with their guns pointed at her.
Tanya put hers away and approached the woman, getting closer, she spoke to her.
“Has this guy hurt you, lady?” she asked in a loud enough voice, so the woman would hear her.
The woman looked dazed, like she might be high on narcotics. Tanya knew this was dangerous, the woman was clearly high and her conception of reality would be different.
Tanya had managed to shuffle right up to the woman.
“What did he do to you, maybe I can lock him up for you?” she said, smiling at the woman’s doped face.
“Bastard!” the woman cried out and hit the biker with her free hand.
“Hey, come on now, let me help,” Tanya said to her. “What’s your name, lady, what can I call you?”
“Bastard, he raped me!” she cried again, her hand holding the gun, shaking everywhere.
“Why don’t you let me arrest him and come to the station with me, we can lock him up there?” she suggested.
“No one believes me,” the woman said, and started to sob.
Tanya decided to risk it and placed her arm over the woman’s shoulder.
“Hey girl, tell me your name so I can help you,” she said, soothingly.
“You gonna take that gun off her?” the biker grunted. “She pulls that trigger and I’m a dead man.”
“I think you’re frightening the man,” Tanya smiled at the woman, slowly taking a hold of the shaking arm. “Let me have the gun and then tell me everything you know about him.”
Once she had taken the gun from the woman’s shaking arm, she took a hold of her and hugged her closely.
“Fucking bitch!,” the biker spat at the woman and revved his bike up, readying to ride off.
“Hold on there sir,” Tanya commanded him, we would like to speak to you first.
She led the woman away from the crowd. “What’s your name, honey?”
“I’m Ann… Ann Marie, and that bastard raped me.”
“I’m going to take you for a ride and we can have a good chat about what’s happened to you, does that sound okay, Ann Marie?”
“I already filed a complaint, but they say can’t do nothin', it’s my word against his,” Ann Marie told her.
Both Tanya and Alfie knew this case would not go anywhere, no one had been hurt and it was doubtful the biker would make a complaint, so they decided to take her home.
“Where do you live, Ann Marie? Let’s get you home so you can have some rest, you look tired,” Tanya tried.
Soon they had her home, she lived with her mother. Her mother seemed a kindly woman, but old, too old to help her emotionally disturbed daughter.
Tanya explained to Ann Marie’s mother that she’d try and get someone to visit and council her daughter, and they left.
“That’s our last call, Tanya, you going back to the station or straight home?” Alfie asked.
“Station, I got a mass of paperwork,” she said, and closed her eyes as Alfie drove, resting her mind to the lull of the car engine. A woman’s work is never done.

Tanya finished her paperwork, this bit of her job sucks, but legally, stuff wouldn’t hold in court if she didn’t do it right. Once she’d completed it all, she was exhausted. In the locker room she quickly changed and readied herself for the walk home. She didn’t live far from headquarters, so looked forward to getting home.
Stepping outside, the cool evening air hit her and awakened her senses. Now she felt like relaxing and decided to go into a local bar and socialize with some of her colleagues, if anyone was around. She entered the bar, it was quite busy for this time of night. A quick scan of the patrons and she couldn’t see any one she knew, but now she was here, she might as well have a nightcap. Pushing her way through to the bar, she ordered a drink. Tanya didn’t mind drinking alone, she’d done it often enough, sitting at the bar slowly sipping a Margarita to help her unwind.
“That was quite a performance today,” a male voice said to her, from behind where she sat.
She swiveled her chair around, expecting someone from the force, only to be confronted with Jason, the biker guy she’d interviewed earlier today.
“You taking risks, coming in this bar,” she said to him, smiling. Her smile grew even bigger when she spotted the native American guy with him. She had a thing for guys with long hair, it looked so damn sexy.
“Nah, I have friends in the force, believe it or not. Officer, let me buy you a drink?” he said, rather than asked.
“Sure, you want to waste your money on me, that’s fine,” she smiled back.
“Me and Marcus, here, we’re out to find ourselves a good ride. What’s your reason for being here, all alone, Tanya?” he asked, emphasizing her first name, as if hinting at the familiarity.
“Tanya is here to have a relaxing drink after a long, hard day questioning suspected robbers,” she replied, a hard tone in her voice, indicating she wouldn’t put up with any nonsense from him.
Jason was leaning on the bar, to her side, as he chatted with her. Marcus sat on the stool to her other side, remaining silent. She swiveled her chair to face him.
“I don’t think I’ve questioned you, Marcus?” she said, inviting him to talk with her.
“I would love to be interrogated by you,” Marcus replied. “We could go somewhere a little more private and you can ask me everything you want an answer to.”
“My friend, here, just happens to be staying in the hotel next door,” Jason joined in their little private tete-a-tete. “That’s why we popped into this bar for a quick drink. Why don’t you and I continue this party in a luxury hotel room?”
“Now there’s an offer I don’t get every day,” Tanya said, sarcastically.
She looked at Marcus who was sat very close to her, but not close enough to be touching her. That was respectful and she liked it. In fact she liked everything about Marcus. He was tall, clearly worked out at the gym, which meant he had some discipline. His features were nice, thick lashes, long nose and very kissable lips.
“I tell you what, Jason,” she sparked up the conversation again. “I’ll let you buy me a few drinks, but that’s it.”
“Whatever you say Officer Jefferson, whatever you say,” Jason whispered in her ear.
She felt his breath on her skin, and it made her body tingle, she couldn’t believe she was attracted to these two guys, she would have to be careful or this might get out of hand.
“Let the party begin,” Jason said, and ordered more drinks.

Tanya was having a great time, just what she needed every now and then, a good time with some bad boys. Her job was so tense that if she didn’t take time out, she’d end up like the many other good officers, who had ended up mentally drained and exhausted.
The boys were plying her with drink, and she didn’t care. Her drinking threshold was high anyway, it had to be, living in a male dominated work environment.
As the night went on, the alcohol loosened her inhibitions further and they found themselves in a secluded corner. Marcus kissed
her full on the lips and she responded in kind, pushing her tongue against his as it entered her mouth. After a long lingering and intoxicating kiss, he broke away, but before she had time to recover, Jason’s mouth was on hers. This combination of such a heady erotic mix, had Tanya’s arousal levels soaring as she French kissed the both of them. Officer Jefferson floated on a cloud of passion as the men shared her, each one kissing her deeply before passing her back.
She surrendered completely in that dark secluded corner of the bar. They took control as their roaming hands wandered all over her willing body, firm hands lingered on her ass and breasts. She moaned lightly into the mouth of which ever bad boy kissed her. The hands on her ass slipped under the elastic of her mini skirt and pants and fondled the bare skin of her ass. Another pair of hands unfastened her blouse, pushing aside the cups of her bra and searched for her bare breasts, fingers rolling and pulling her nipples.
A scraping chair close by brings her back to reality, she pushes both men away form and rearranges her clothes. She could not believe how easily they had manipulated her, she was no prude but neither was she an easy lay.
“Stop right there, both of you,” Tanya said, holding her hand out. “What kinda girl do you think I am? You think you buy a girl a few drinks, and that means you can molest her?”
They both look at her and smile, each smile a sexy one.
“Come on Tanya,” Jason replied. “You know you wanted it. Girls need a bit of rough every now and then, a bad boy to show them a good time.
They were right, Tanya admitted to herself. Part of the attraction was that these guys were so unlike the men she would normally meet, and it excited her, sexually.
“Let’s get out of here,” Marcus said, grabbing her by the hand. “My hotel is literally next door, fancy some fun?”
Though, in the bar, she agreed, once stood outside Marcus’s hotel, Tanya had second thoughts. The fresh air helped her come to her senses. What was she thinking? Fraternizing with known criminals.
