It takes every ounce of courage inside of me to pry my fingers grip from the edge of the desk. Lifting my hand, I slowly trail my fingers down my chest and then to the hair at the mound of my pussy.
I’m not sure if he likes the fact that I have hair there, but he hasn’t said anything, and shaving doesn’t really appeal to me, so I haven’t mentioned it either.
“Spread yourself, I want to see how wet you are,” he gently demands.
Sliding my fingers, a bit farther, I place them on my lips and spread them as far as I can. My breathing continues to escape in pants, and I’m finding it hard to calm myself. He leans forward, his clothes still in place and I jump slightly when his lips touch my clit.
“Now, play,” he whispers, his breath caressing my wet center.
I do as instructed, dipping my fingers inside to gather wetness, then rub circles around my clit. Lifting my hips, I do it again, moaning as the sensation of desire builds throughout my body.
Connery groans as well, and I slowly open my eyes to see that he’s unzipped his pants, shoved them over his hips and he’s stroking his cock as he watches me. It’s sexy as hell, exhilarating, too.
“You want my cock, sexy girl?” he asks, licking his bottom lip as he strokes himself.
I whimper, nodding my head shamelessly. “Yes, please,” I beg.
“Come on over, and climb on,” he chuckles.
Without a moment’s hesitation, I do exactly that. I straddle his hips. My knees resting on either side of his thighs against the seat of his chair, and I take him completely inside of me.
I won’t be able to move a lot, my motion inhibited by our position in the chair, but I don’t mind, because he’s inside of me.
Connery lifts his hands and cups my breasts in his palms. His thumbs glide along my nipples and I whimper at the feel, clenching my pussy around him. He lets out a groan, leaning forward to press his lips to mine.
“Offer me your tits, Bexley,” he whispers against my lips.
His hands fall from my breasts, and slowly I cup the underside of them. Lifting my head, I squeeze my breasts, pushing them forward.
My eyes stay glued to his face, and I watch as his lips tip in a smile. When his mouth opens and sucks one of my nipples, and breast, into his mouth I feel his hand slip between my thighs.
His fingers begin to stroke my clit, petting and playing with me while his mouth devours my breasts. He moves from one to the other, tugging and gently biting down on my nipples over and over. My hips jerk beneath his touch as my head falls backward.
I want to work his cock, move and roll my hips against him but I can’t. I’m too immobile in my current position.
“Just relax, feel me touch you, let that orgasm take over,” he mutters against my breast.
Closing my eyes, I keep my head back and I feel. His touch is the perfect mix of gentled pressure. I shake against him, his mouth devouring my breasts, his fingers at my clit, and his thick cock filling me. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to last, minutes, maybe even only seconds.
It takes over me, the orgasm rushes through me at a speed I didn’t think possible. I let out a loud cry as I jerk against him.
Connery doesn’t waste a second, while my orgasm is still rolling through me, he picks me up and places me on the desk, my ass slamming against the edge.
Then, he fucks me. It’s hard, fast, sweaty and perfect. His cum fills me within seconds and I feel another tremor take over at the sensation.
I love the way he feels inside of me, and when his cum fills my body it makes that feeling, over the top, and out of this world.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
BEXLEY
Connery wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me against his chest. I giggle as his cock nestles between my ass cheeks. His hand slides up my stomach and his fingers wrap around my breast giving me a squeeze.
“Morning,” he murmurs against my shoulder.
We’re both lying naked in bed. Last night after he fucked me against his desk, we hurried upstairs, and we made love again.
I frown, mentally scolding myself for using the term—make love.
He fucks me that’s what he does. Making love would imply that we have feelings for one another. Although I don’t doubt that I very much do have feelings for him. However, I doubt he has them for me. I think that me being here is very much a novelty, and when that wears off, I’m not sure what my future will hold.
“How about I take you to lunch today?” he asks.
Turning around in his arms, I look into his eyes and study him. He’s off. “Okay,” I say, waiting for more.
He sighs, pulling me closer toward him as he rolls onto his back. “You have to make yourself scarce tonight, I have some people coming over for dinner. However, I wanted to spend some time with you before that. I don’t know how late I’ll be,” he explains.
My already shaky heart, cracks and breaks into a million pieces. “Okay, I’ll just occupy myself up here,” I whisper, trying to hide my hurt, but I’m not successful.
“It’s a family thing, Bexley. You wouldn’t want to be there, trust me. It’s just a dinner and then when it’s done, we won’t have to worry about it for another few months,” he explains, but it doesn’t make me feel any better, it makes me feel worse.
He doesn’t want me to meet his family. When he first mentioned it, I initially thought it was work, but now that he’s explained it’s his family, my stomach clenches. I stay quiet, trying to think about the words I’m going to say next when his cell rings.
“It’s for you,” he murmurs handing it to me.
“Hello?”
“Bex, it’s Tilly,” she squeals. I love how happy she sounds, and I can’t stop the smile that appears on my lips, even in my own sadness.
Tilly excitedly explains that she’s engaged, and the wedding is in just a few days, next Saturday to be exact. She quickly informs me that I’ll be her only bridesmaid and asks if I can go dress shopping with her and her future motherin-law, in less than two hours’ time.
I don’t hesitate, or even ask Connery, I immediately agree to go with them. She tells me that they’ll be by to pick me up and we’ll make a day of it.
I know that it’s going to cut into the guilt-riddled plans Connery had for us, but I don’t really want to spend the day with him, not like that anyway.
Ending the call, I hand his phone back to him and he looks at me with a lifted brow, waiting for me to say something. “Tilly and Sterling are getting married next Saturday. She asked me to be her bridesmaid, and to go shopping with her today,” I say, keeping my voice soft.
He frowns, then nods. “So, you said yes, which means we won’t see one another at all today.”
I shrug, sitting up. Connery places his palm against my bare back and I try not to show how much he affects me, but I shiver from his touch and I already want him again.
“Be naked when you come back. I want you naked in this bed when I’m finished with my evening,” he announces, letting his hand fall from my back.
His words sound forced, and I wonder if he meant to say something else, or wanted to but couldn’t? It doesn’t matter.
Quietly, I stand and make my way toward the shower. I don’t have a lot of time, and I want to be ready to run when Tilly arrives.
CONNERY
I stare at the computer screen. I’ve already begun to make Michael’s life a living fucked up nightmare, and I’ve done a little work but I’m unfocused.
I glance down at my phone, wondering if Bexley will call me at all. I gave her a new cell, with my programmed number inside before she left.
I’d ordered the phone the day after I bought her, but she hasn’t gone anywhere so there was no reason for her to have it, until now.
She wasn’t happy this morning when she left, and why would she be? I pretty much told her that she couldn’t be part of my life, not my real life anyway. She can be on my arm at parties, and in my bed, but nothing more.
I’m
sure that was upsetting to come to terms with, but it’s the way it has to be. She just doesn’t understand my grandmother.
The woman is awful, and she would tear poor Bexley up one side and down the other. Then she’d leave her in a pile of broken and start all over again, until there was nothing left.
The only reason she watches herself, slightly, with me is because I keep money flowing to her bank account regularly.
Abbi waltzes through the door with a wide smile plastered on her face. “Grandmother Abbott contacted me. She said she was coming for dinner, why didn’t you tell me, Connery?” she pouts.
My grandmother’s like of Abbi is probably another reason why I would never date her. My grandmother loves her, which makes me wonder just how evil Abbi truly is, because I know my grandmother is the daughter of Satan.
“Didn’t think it had anything to do with you. Chef has the menu,” I shrug.
Abbi tips her head to the side. “Maybe I should go and help Bexley pick out something suitable to wear, you know how traditional Mrs. Abbott can be,” she smiles. I snort. Grandmother wasn’t so traditional when she was living in the trailer park before I made my money.
I shake my head. “Bexley won’t be joining us,” I explain.
Abbi’s eyes smile immediately, even if her lips don’t, I can see her excitement just the same. “Why not? She’s your partner, she lives here. I thought Mrs. Abbott would just love to meet her,” she grins.
I’m not subjecting Bexley to the old viper. It’s bad enough Abbi is around her and has filled her head with bullshit about her body. I can’t imagine what my grandmother would say to her.
No, I need to protect Bexley, and I wasn’t able to from her brother, but now that she’s mine that’s my goal. I plan on keeping her safe even if that means keeping her from my own family.
“I’m sure she would, but she’s not, and that’s the end of story. Will you please ensure the chef is readying the meal, and that the dining room is sufficient for her arrival?”
“I will, but where is your Bexley?” she asks.
With a sigh, I lift my gaze back to Abbi. “She’s with a friend who is engaged, shopping for bridesmaid’s dresses or something,” I shrug.
Abbi’s eyes widen, and she bites the corner of her lips but doesn’t say anything. I watch as she turns and hurries out of the room. I don’t know what she was going to say, and honestly, I don’t care. My only focus is to get through this day and climb into bed with a naked Bexley to make it all go away.
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
BEXLEY
It’s later than I had anticipated when Natasha Montgomery, Sterling’s mother drops me off at the house. She gives me a small wave, and I thank her for the afternoon as I exit the vehicle.
As quietly as I can, I slip through the front door. I stand in the foyer, trying to listen for any sign of guests. I don’t want to get caught, but I want to eavesdrop, just a little.
I’m so beyond curious as to why Connery doesn’t want me around his family. I assume it’s because he’s embarrassed of me, somehow, but I want to know for sure.
I hear voices coming from the dining room, so I slip off my shoes and tip-toe in that direction. Standing against the wall, I concentrate as much as I can, trying to listen to anything and everything I can pick up.
“You know, Lillianna is a graduate of Yale, isn’t that wonderful?” an older woman’s voice asks.
I hear Connery’s grunt. Then another woman’s voice speaks. “What college did you attend?” her voice is soft, flowery even, and I bet she’s willowy and pretty, too.
“Stanford,” Connery announces, “Though I didn’t graduate,” he states.
She gasps, then I hear her clear her throat. “But you’re so successful. It’s hard to believe you went to such a lower end type college,” she says, and I can almost hear the frown in her voice.
I frown as well, but only because she called Stanford, lower end.
“Connery is extremely smart when it comes to computers, and programming, he sold his first company at an extremely young age and didn’t have a reason to finish,” Abbi’s voice rings.
Her overuse of the word extremely, shows me that she’s being defensive and trying too hard, which I kind of like even if I don’t want to admit it.
My stomach which was already a little queasy, clenches and rolls. Abbi is invited to this dinner, another woman, and then someone who sounds like his mother or grandmother.
Tears prick my eyes. I shouldn’t care, I’m not really his girlfriend, but I do care. I want to be like Tilly, I want to have him fall madly in love with me and demand to marry me. I want it all, and I didn’t know that I wanted any of it until I met Connery Abbott.
Turning from the dining room, I make my way upstairs. I need to take a few moments and pull myself together. I cannot let him see me upset. He didn’t buy me to deal with a weeping woman, that’s a sure-fire way to get sold off to another man.
CONNERY
I’m one hundred percent sure that this is what hell actually feels like. My grandmother introduced me to Lillianna and has been forcing conversation between us all evening. At first, I was irritated when Abbi invited herself, but now I’m a little relieved to have her as a buffer.
“You know, Connery is single. He needs a steady woman, and I think you would be a wonderful asset to his home. Abbi is such a great work partner for him, but he needs a life partner,” my grandmother explains.
Lillianna’s eyes brighten, and I can tell she’s falling off the cliff of desperate. She looks to be about her mid-thirties and appears to have a stick shoved completely up her ass, so my guess is her options are pretty slim.
“Grandmother I’m not looking to settle down,” I grind out, giving Lillianna a tight smile.
My grandmother waves her hand in the air dismissively. “Yes, it’s time,” she nods.
We eat in silence for a few moments and I’m thankful when Abbi engages Lillianna in polite conversation.
“May I talk with you in the sitting room?” I ask my grandmother under my breath.
She rolls her eyes but stands up. Together we excuse ourselves and make our way into the sitting room.
“Why are you pushing this?” I hiss when we’re alone.
My grandmother looks up at me, her eyes searching mine and she smiles. “You can’t live your entire life alone, Connery. Just because you were born trash, doesn’t mean you’re that anymore. Her family is old money, and they have a pile of it. Think about how you can siphon it from them before anyone realizes you could have it all. You knock her up, and keep her stupid, and nobody will be the wiser,” she shrugs.
My grandmother’s angle has always been money. Every husband she married had more than the one before, even if it wasn’t that much more, and none of them ever took her out of that old trailer park.
Even in marriage she never stopped looking to one-up her current situation. I’m not that way, I have more than enough, more than any one man needs.
“I don’t need her family’s money,” I state.
She laughs shaking her head. “You can never have too much money, Connery. It’s impossible. There is nothing wrong with marrying a twit for money, never has been. It’s the best way to keep yourself relevant and cushioned. Besides, you could use her father’s contacts I’m sure.”
I lift my hand and run my fingers through my hair. “I don’t need their contacts,” I explain.
She lifts her own hand and slaps me across the face. I’m brought back twenty-years by the touch alone. A slap to the cheek is nothing. She used to do so much more. Lifting my gaze to hers, I start to say something, but she beats me to it.
“You’ll shut your little pissant mouth. Listen to me, Connery. I put a lot of fucking work into befriending that stuck up bitch. You’re going to court her properly, then pretend you like fucking her rigid stick body, and marry her. I don’t care what you do behind her back, most men have warm bodies they go to anyway,” she waves her hand. “You’ll put a
couple brats in her, and you’ll do it with a goddamn smile.”
I stare at the woman who raised me. A woman I couldn’t wait to get away from. A woman who abused me every chance she got.
My heart races, and I want to tell her to fuck off, but I also want to just shut her up and do what she says, which is what I always do. Just like I give her money when she demands it, and have my chef make the meals she wants, at my own house.
“Connery, are you okay?” A sweet voice calls behind me.
My grandmother’s shrewd gaze snaps behind me, but I don’t turn around. I can’t. Bexley will see what a fucking pussy I am if I do.
“Fine. Go back upstairs,” I grind out. I feel her hand touch my lower back and her soft tits press against me as I let out a breath.
“Who the hell is this?” my grandmother snaps.
Bexley holds out her hand, and I can practically see the soft smile she has playing on her lips, I know she thinks this older woman is some kind of sweet old lady, but she doesn’t know the truth.
“I’m Bexley,” she says, her voice floating around me and practically hugging me.
My grandmother looks down at Bexley’s offered hand then back up to her face. “Who is this fat girl, and what is she doing coming down from your staircase?” she snaps.
Bexley’s hand falls and wraps around my waist. I sigh inwardly at the feeling of her body against my own. The stress from this dinner instantly melts away. “Oh, I’m Connery’s, he bought me,” she says, and I cough.
My grandmother’s eyes narrow, then she looks up to me. “Keep the fatty on the side for all I care but you will marry Lillianna,” she snaps.
I watch as she turns around, walking back into the dining room, and I focuse on Bexley. “You shouldn’t have come downstairs.”
Bexley’s eyes water with tears, but she doesn’t let them spill down her cheeks. “I know. I just couldn’t take the way she was talking to you, or when she slapped you,” she whispers.
