About the Author
T. Josiah Haynes
In 2015, T. Josiah Haynes wrote the first The Heirs of History book. After a LOT of edits, he's proud to finally release The Heirs of History: A Nation From Nothing.
He loves to feel. Positive emotions, negative emotions – he just adores when fiction can elicit a visceral feeling. For a great example, Haynes gets sick pleasure out of randomly watching Season 4 Episode 14 of The Walking Dead or reading the latter half of Chapter 32 of this book.
Haynes has been writing since he was 4, telling stories on Post-It notes and on the backs of bulletins in the pews of Wednesday night Bible study in Chester, West Virginia. Now living in Nashville, Haynes has been active in the theatre community – acting in, writing, and directing several productions since 2012. In 2015, he co-wrote an opera that was performed in 2016 at Nashville's renowned Noah Liff Opera Center. In 2019, he wrote and directed Greener Pastures: A New Musical at Springhouse Theatre Company.
He could tell you about all the minor writing awards he won in talent competitions as a teenager, but he won't bore you. He could go on about how he wrote for his college yearbook and newspaper, but you don't care. He could tout his achievements as a writer for the successful SEO company Clara, but he doesn't want to sound vain. Even if several articles he penned sit at the very top of certain competitive Google search queries.
What Haynes wants to tell you is this: "Thank you for reading this novel. A ton of love was poured into it. I hope you got to feel that love through the text."
Until he gets a more stylish email address, feel free to send him messages at [email protected].
