  “Elina.”

“I’m not a little kid, Julian. You’ve always been able to make me laugh. Been my protector, right along with my brother.”

“Tell me.” He cupped my chin with his forefinger.

  “Tonight, I need something else.”

Julian palmed my ass and rubbed his hard erection against me. My head fell back, and my eyes closed, thinking of how it would feel to have him inside me for the first time. I reached between us and unbuckled his pants, then slid my hand over his large girth and squeezed. Julian groaned, and I peppered his jawline with light kisses.

“Baby, fuck, let me taste you,” Julian called out as he lifted me up and placed me on top of the coffee table with my legs spread wide. He removed my t-shirt dress and slid a hand into the lining of my panties, stroking my slit from top to bottom. I gasped, feeling his long fingers causing me to get wetter and wetter at his touch. He would be my undoing.

  “Julian,” I moaned.

He yanked my panties off and put them in his pocket, as he licked all my sweet nectar. He picked up his pace, slicking his tongue across my butt.

“Once we make it, there’s no going back,” Julian told me, and I nodded in understanding.

  “I know.”

Julian grabbed me around the waist, then walked back to his bedroom to lay me down on the bed. He removed my ankle boots, and I helped him out of his shirt and jeans. I kissed across his stomach, removing his dick from his boxers. I then took him into my mouth. He sucked in a breath. I swiped my tongue over the bead of cum on his tip as he tried to hide his moan and grasped the back of my head.

“Fuck! Wait... I need to be inside you,” Julian pleaded.

I smirked, loving his taste. He tapped me on the shoulder, and I popped him out of my mouth and watched as he kicked off his boxers and grabbed a condom from his pants. I moved toward the middle of his bed. He attacked my lips again and covered himself with the condom. He kissed down my chest to my nipples, while lining himself up with my slit and pressing forward.

“Julian! Ahhh... God,” I cried out.

He pumped in and out as I arched off the bed, gripping my hands on both sides of his arms. He sucked on my neck and shoulder as I tightened around his girth as he picked up his pace.

“Come for me, baby,” he asked.

I nodded, feeling him swell inside as he balls slapped against my ass.

“Yes! Right there,” I panted, feeling his love engulf me as I trembled through my orgasm.

“That’s right, baby; let me know.” He licked my bottom lip and took my tongue in his mouth, as I moaned.

TWO DAYS LATER, I WAS on his arm in a light-blue dress, with my hair pinned into a braided crown, wearing light makeup. Julian was talking with a few potential donors. This was his campaign fundraiser, and he’d asked me to be his date. I wondered if he would change his mind, but the second we came apart from making love for the fourth time today, Jenna called to get my dress and shoe size for that night. She tried to send over a makeup and hair person. I told her I could take care of that myself.

“Julian, nice to see you again.” Mr. Anderson said, the local owner of a chain of grocery stores in the city. He extended a hand to Julian, then me, and I put on my fake smile like most girlfriends of politicians.

“Marc, I appreciate you coming tonight,” Julian said.

I looked at the campaign posters hanging on the walls. Waiters walked around wearing campaign buttons. His slogan was Community Together.

“I spoke with your dad, and he said you’re making waves, son,” Marc said.

“Trying to follow in his footsteps.”

“Good. I left a donation with your assistant,” Marc said.

Marc walked away with his wife.

“What do you think so far?” Julian questioned, taking two glasses of champagne off the tray of the waiter walking by us.

“I think you would make a great mayor. I knew you were destined for great things.”

  “Thank you.”

“I mean you tried to boss me around when we were younger all the time,” I teased, and he nibbled on my neck. I clenched my thighs together. I was still sore from our multiple rounds. Tonight, I planned to soak in a tub and sleep peacefully when we got home.

“Have you talked to your parents?” he questioned. I chewed on my lip. “What about your brother?”

I sighed, feeling defeated that everyone had cut me off. I tried calling to have a conversation, but they screened my calls or had just avoided my messages altogether. Especially EJ, and that hurt worst of all coming from someone who was supposed to protect me at all costs.

  “No, he hasn’t answered.”

“Give it time, baby,” Julian reminded me.

Jenna walked over and passed him notecards. He released my hand, and I stood back, admiring him giving out orders.

“Once the speech is over, you’re good to leave, sir,” Jenna explained.

Julian nodded, walking over to the podium, and looked over his shoulder toward me.

  “What are you waiting for?”

  “Huh?” I said.

“You’re my good luck charm. I need you close, baby,” Julian replied, and I grinned and followed him to the front of the stage, as he stepped up to the podium to give a speech.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the man of the hour, Julian Easton, the next mayor of Seattle!” the announcer said.

“Thank you, Susan. I appreciate the hard work you’ve put in as my campaign manager.”

  “Mayor! Mayor!” the crow cheered.

  Julian grinned.

“We still have a long road ahead. These are just the early stages. I want to say that it’ll be easy, but we all know how things go in this type of business.”

  “Mayor! Mayor!”

“I’m working for the community that gets ignored. I know other kids didn’t have my privilege growing up. That will change when I’m in office,” Julian said. He hugged Susan and stepped offstage as the crowd continued to pump him up.

For the rest of the night, I tried to stay to the side, but he pulled me right next to him and introduced me as his girlfriend. He was in the zone, and I couldn’t help but smile as the evening was a success.

  Chapter Six: Elina

TWO MONTHS LATER, THE realtor told me they found a building that I would like, so I finally made the drive over to check it out before I had to go into work. Julian wanted me to quit, and we’d been fussing back and forth because of his jealousy. It was funny to me because he and my brother loved going to strip clubs when they were younger, but seeing me onstage made it wrong somehow. Men could be so judgmental. But I knew deep down, he cared for me and didn’t want me to get hurt.

The second Bobby called my phone, talking about doing another show, I told him I would come by to talk about it. I’d planned to quit officially since things were falling into place with finding a building. I’d spoken with Julian earlier and once I finished running errands, I wanted to surprise him with dinner and a dance. Once the lid had opened on our relationship, we couldn’t put it back on. I refused to give up on us just because his ego and how his parents would perceive our relationship made him not like what I did for a living.

“Elina, just park right there.” Anne pointed to the reserved parking spot, and I pulled up and hopped out. The place was one story and looked like it used to be a restaurant or something because of the shape of the sign on top.

“I think this is the one. It’s about five thousand square feet.”

It had four large windows, with a large parking structure for guests. Anne opened the front door, and I walked around, looking at the space and already feeling like it was for me.

  “How much are they asking?”

“Sixty thousand. That’s because of the prime parking space out front,” Anne said, flipping through the papers.

  “I’ll take it.”

“Great. This was the fastest sale I’ve ever made.” Anne laughed.

“I have a good feeling abo
ut the place.”

“I’ll get the paperwork drawn up.”

“How fast can you get your decorator friend to come in and work her magic?” I inquired.

“When are you trying to open?”

“Soon if the inspector says the wiring is good.” I ran my hand across the window, noticing it needed deep cleaning.

“Hmm... give me a few days to see how her schedule is right now. We usually work cohesively when I bring a client on at the same time.”

“Thanks. I’ll get the deposit for you later today.”

We stepped out of the building, and she locked up behind me. I got in my car and waved goodbye. I then drove to the club to talk with Bobby.

FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER, I pulled into the club. I picked up my purse, slid it over my shoulder, and tried to walk inside.

“I can’t let you go in, Honey,” the security guard said.

  “What are you talking about?”

“Listen, your boyfriend made it very clear that you don’t work here anymore.”

  “Where’s Bobby?” I asked.

  “Busy setting up for tonight.”

“I just need to talk to him for a second,” I said.

My phone vibrated in my purse. I grabbed it and saw EJ’s name across the screen. I strolled back to my car and answered the call.

  “EJ.”

  “Hey, Turtle.”

“You’re calling me Turtle again.” I shuffled my feet, kicking the rock into the street.

  “I apologize for ignoring you.”

“Did Missy put you up to this?” I joked.

“No, but your friend is crazy as hell.”

“I bet she ignored you, didn’t she?” I asked.

He groaned through the phone, and I laughed. That was just like Missy to ignore him when she was pissed at him.

“Talking about if she wants me to speak to her again, I better make things right with my best friend,” he mumbled, but I overheard.

“Well, you’ll be happy to know I’m opening my own dance studio.”

  “I heard.”

  “Who told you?”

“Imagine my surprise when my best friend told me he’s dating my little sister.”

  “Oh.”

“Yeah, oh... How long has that been going on?”

  “Only a few weeks.”

“I already said that if he hurts you, I’m kicking his ass. Friend or not, you don’t mess with my baby sister,” EJ told me.

“I appreciate the threat on my boyfriend’s life, EJ,” I said dryly, rolling my eyes.

I could hear some rustling on the other end of the call.

“Let me talk to her,” I heard Missy’s voice.

Missy stayed more at EJ’s place, and I’d been staying at Julian’s, so our girl time had been limited for the most part.

“Hurry up; I’m ready to eat,” EJ said, handing the phone over.

“Elina! How are you, friend?” Missy said.

  “I miss you, friend.”

“Me too. We have to have dinner or something this week,” Missy stated.

I nodded, looked back over my shoulder, and saw Bobby walking toward me.

“Missy, let me call you back about dinner. I have a meeting I need to get to really quick.”

“Don’t forget,” Missy said, and I ended the call.

“What are you doing here?” Bobby said.

“I wanted to let you know I was no longer going to be working here. I thought I could finish off this month, but things have changed.”

“You know how much money you’ve cost me?” he questioned.

“Sorry, but you knew I wasn’t planning on staying here long term.”

“Just keep your boyfriend from around here, or he’ll get a rude awakening.” Bobby started to walk away, and I grabbed his arm.

  “Are you threatening him?”

Bobby chuckled and jerked his arm back.

“I know some of his little political opponents would love to know about his little slut of a girlfriend,” Bobby said, pushing a piece of my hair back. I slapped his hand away. My phone rang again, and I answered without looking at the name.

  “Hello.”

  “Where are you?” Julian demanded.

I looked around the area, wondering if he had someone following me.

  “Um...”

  “Don’t lie to me, Elina.”

“I needed to speak with Bobby.”

“Get to my house now,” Julian said and hung up the call. I glanced up to see Bobby smirking at me.

“Like I said, I know a few things that would destroy his career,” Bobby said, sliding his hands in his pockets and walking back into the building.

  Chapter Seven: Julian

A week later, I was getting Honey from Club Sensual in bed, and it surprised me how smoothly she got into character as she held her leg up on the door entrance and bent backwards. She stepped farther into my room, wearing red high heels and a red bra and panty set that was so small, her breasts spilled over it. She swayed her hips from side to side, then moved her hand up to her breast and caressed herself. My heart was racing, and I needed to calm myself before I busted in my pants.

“What can I do for you?” Elina seductively strolled over to me.

“Take off your clothes and come closer.”

She slid her tongue over her bottom lip, and I felt my dick jerk in my pants. Elina stepped between my legs, and I dragged her titties out of her bra cup and brushed my tongue across. She grasped the back of my head.

“Sensual, sexy, and sweet,” I said.

“Baby,” she whimpered and helped to remove her bra completely. I kissed down her chest and ripped off her thong.

  “Damn, you’re soaking wet.”

  “Fuck me now.”

I picked her up and placed her on the bed with her back facing me, positioning her on her hands and knees. I shoved my boxers down and grabbed a condom off the nightstand. I thrusted in, pulling her ass close and hovering over her back. I locked our hands together and slowly continued to thrust.

“Arghh... Shit,” I grumbled, and she tilted her head. I kissed her on the mouth.

  “Julian... Oh God.”

I reached under her and played with her clit as she moaned. My pace picked up as I slapped her on the ass and rubbed the sting away.

  “I’m going to come, baby.”

  “Come for me, baby.”

I rose and pulled her back to my chest as I thrust harder, licking her earlobe.

She reached her hand around to cup the back of my head. “Julian! Julian, I’m coming!” she screamed, and I filled the condom right as her wetness covered the sheets.

THE NEXT NIGHT, HER parents called me to see if I would be okay with them coming to talk. At first, I declined, but then I thought about EJ and Elina making up. She was in a better space now, working on building her studio. She was finally finished with the club, so if her mother didn’t act crazy, I couldn’t stop her from coming as long as she didn’t disrespect her in any way. Mrs. Murphy was ruthless on the city council, and we’d probably have to deal with each other on the business side at some point, but Elina was my priority first and foremost.

“What are you cooking?” Elina asked, coming into the kitchen and wrapping her hand around my waist.

“Nothing fancy: steak, potatoes, and salad. You cool with your parents coming over still?” I turned my head over my shoulder to glance at her.

She nodded, kissed me on the back, and stepped to the side of me.

“EJ said they felt terrible and wanted to mend our family.”

“That’s what I hope for.” I pulled the steak out of the oven and placed it atop the stove.

The doorbell rang, and Elina went to answer it. I finished placing the potatoes on the plate and seasoned the steak with a little black pepper, then brought it to the kitchen table.

“Julian, you’ve done a nice job with the place,” her dad said.

  “Thank you, sir.”

  Elina shu
t the door and came to stand next to me. I motioned for them to take a seat on the couch.

“It smells good,” her dad stated.

“Julian made steak, potatoes, and salad,” Elina said.

“Elina, I wanted to say in front of Julian that I’m sorry about everything and about cutting you off without justification. I was wrong,” Shannon said with her hands in her lap.

  “I talked to EJ already.”

“He told us that you two made up. I’m happy about that,” Shannon responded, then stood with her hands out for a hug. Elina met her halfway.

“I quit working at the club,” Elina said.

“Oh, thank God!” Shannon blurted out.

  All of us laughed.

“My own studio is opening soon. This was my goal throughout all of this,” Elina explained.

“Does Missy still work there?” Mom questioned.

  “No, EJ made her quit.”

“Good. How are things with your campaign, Julian?” Dad asked.

“I’m getting donations, and EJ has a few interviews set up for me to do soon,” I said.

“If you need us to do anything, we’re here for you,” Shannon said.

“I appreciate that. How about we eat before the food gets cold.” I extended a hand for Elina, and we walked to the kitchen with her parents following. I held a chair out for her to take a seat, along with her mom.

“Is this official, you two? I mean, should we be expecting grandbabies soon?” Shannon asked.

Elina choked on her water, and I slapped her on the back.

“Where did that come from?” Elina questioned.

I passed the plate of potatoes around as her father cut into the steak.

“Your brother and Missy are talking about starting a family. She’s back in school now,” Mrs. Murphy said.

“Um, we really haven’t talked about that because of his work and my new business starting.”

“Elina, by the time I was your age, I had two kids, a great career, and a husband,” she replied.

  Elina chuckled, rubbing her temples.

  “What’s so funny?” Shannon said.

“You, Mom. Even when I think you can’t get out of your head, it comes back full circle.”
