First Crush (Dark Falkon #1) Page 14

by J. O Mantel

Sliding his finger in and out, Ivy couldn’t control the pleasure that was shooting through her body, her nipples were hard and her pussy was wet.

“Fuck!” she moaned, Dick pulled her closer and covered her neck with kisses.

“See? I told you that you were amazing.”

  “I want you inside me.”

“What?” Dick asked suddenly, removing his finger.

  “You heard me.”

She leaned over and reached for her handbag and pulled out a condom. Ivy then proceeded to roll them over, so that she was once again on top. Unwrapping the packaging, she slowly rolled the condom onto his erect cock and crawled on top of him. The touch of Dick’s body rubbing against her own, was the best feeling. It made her feel comfortable about her body again and he certainly made her feel confident.

They looked into each other’s eyes, both of them smiled and breathed heavily as they kissed. As they lay there, the lyrics to Foreigner’s I Want to Know What Love Is, softly played through the radio.

Ivy looked at Dick; “I love you,” she whispered.

“I love you too,” he replied, smiling as they kissed once more.

“Mom? Dad? Emily? Oh my god, what are you all doing here?” Jake said as he hugged the three of them.

“I'm in New York on business and we wanted to surprise and congratulate you on the album. We're so proud of you,” Mr. Cooper said, hugging his son.

  “Thanks Dad.”

They placed their bags in the living room and Mrs. Cooper looked around.

  “Sienna's not home?”

“No, she's in Vegas with Ivy, they were at a concert on the weekend. They'll be back tomorrow.”

“Oh, yeah! Dark Falkon,” Emily said.

“Yeah! Hey sis!” He hugged his younger sister tightly.

  “Hey!”

They made themselves comfortable on the sofa and Jake got them all a drink.

“So how are Sienna and Ivy?” Mrs. Cooper asked.

“They're great. Yeah, Sienna's been seeing this guy for a couple of months now, I don't know how serious it is. I've met him a couple of times...seems ok. And Ivy has a man as well, they've been together a couple of months too. He's a pizza delivery boy and works for the New York Times newspaper as well.

“Wow! Ivy really picked a winner there, didn't she?”

“Yeah! He's such an amazing guy, he's good for her. I really like him, I'm happy for her.”

“What's the story with you and Sienna, Jake?” Emily asked.

  “What do you mean?”

“You know exactly what I mean. The last time you text me, you told me she was about to head to Vegas to meet Lukas Dark. What's going on?”

“Well, I haven't told her how I feel about her if that's what you're asking.”

  “Why not?” His mother asked.

“Mom, please. I can't. Things are just too complicated at the moment.”

His Mom and Dad quickly changed the subject.

“So, this album? Can we see it?” They both asked at the same time.

Jake walked over to his room and returned with his CD, handing them a copy.

“Oh wow! Jake this is amazing, that cover is fantastic.”

“Thanks Mom, we have a great cover artist. She's done a lot of our promotional work for us.”

“Your Mom and I are so proud of you. We know how hard you've been working for this and you deserve every bit of it.”

“Me too, Jake. Oh, by the way, can I please get a couple of copies? I promised some of my college friends I'd get them signed copies. They all got a bit excited when I told them my brother was a rock star. It's like they have a friend whose brother is a celebrity,” Emily laughed.

  “Sure!” Jake replied.

“What happens now? I mean, do you send this to a record producer or what?” His Dad asked.

“The band and I haven't really thought about it to be honest. Of course it's our dream to be signed to a record label, but this album took us a year to record. We spent a lot of time in the studio writing and recording songs. I think now that it's finally out there we just want to see where it goes. Recently we performed at a charity event and we were noticed by a touring company. They heard our performance and they want to sponsor us so that we can go on tours with major recording artists. They want us to be the opening act at a few gigs, along with some other bands. They are going to organize our very own tour bus, accommodation, everything! We have a gig in Miami this weekend.”

“Jake, that's wonderful news, I'm so happy for you,” Mrs. Cooper said.

“I'm going to be on the road a lot over the next couple of months. The band and I are getting some photo shoots done, and we are recording some music videos in different locations. In a way, it'll be like my own personal paid vacation. I lived in California my whole life and when Sienna got this promotion and had to move interstate, I was thrilled when she asked me to join her in New York. She's been my best friend most of my life and I'm glad I got to do this with her. But there are other parts of America that I've never seen before. You've already travelled the world, you've been to Fiji, Hawaii and Europe. It’s my dream to hopefully do all that one day too.”

“Well, Jake it sounds like things are really working out for you, son,” his Dad added.

“I hope so. I know what my hopes and dreams are. I love my music and someday, I want to share it with the rest of the world.”

“Tomorrow? Wow, that’s really soon,” Mrs. Cooper said.

“Yeah I know. But we don’t get much of a choice really, the touring company just contact us and tell us where we need to be and at what time. I’m meeting the band where we rehearse and we have a bus picking us up at eight a.m.”

“Oh, I see. Well then I guess we better look for a hotel where we can spend the night,” Mr. Cooper said.

“No! That’s not necessary. You're all staying here the night, as long as you don’t mind me leaving early.”

“Are you sure?” His Mom asked.

“Of course I’m sure. I’ve missed you guys and it would be great to have you around, even if it is only for one day.”

“We’ve missed you too, and it would be nice to spend some time with you,” Emily said.

“Em, you can have Sienna’s room. Mom and Dad, you can have my room.”

He grabbed their bags and walked them over to his room. Even though they had arrived unexpectedly, Jake was relieved that his room was at least clean and tidy. The last thing he needed was his mother giving him a lecture about cleanliness and personal hygiene, he got enough of that when he was living at home.

“Wow, Jake. I’m impressed!” his mother said.

  “Oh?”

“Your room, it’s tidy. Why couldn’t you keep it this clean when you were living at home?”

“Who wants a coffee?” Jake asked, quickly changing the subject.

“I’d love one, thanks. And nice subject change by the way.”

Jake headed out into the kitchen and Emily joined him a couple of minutes later.

“Wow! Sienna really has a thing for Lukas Dark, doesn’t she?”

“Yeah. I honestly don’t know what she sees in him. And yes Em I know, I’m a guy! I wouldn’t get it, but trust me, I do.”

  “I didn’t say a word.”

“You didn’t have to. So what’s new with you? How’s college?”

“College is great, I’m really enjoying it. I’ve made some great friends and I’m doing really well.”

“Yeah, Mom and Dad told me that they had seen the Dean and she spoke very highly of you. I’m proud of you little sis,” he squeezed her shoulders and finished making their coffees. His Mom and Dad finally settled into their temporary accommodation for the night and joined Jake and Emily in the living room.

  “How's work going, Dad?”

“Busy! There's a new morning talk show that the producers want me to work on here in New York.”

“What? So you mean, you could be moving here, permanently?”

&n
bsp; “No! It would only be for a couple of months. They would pay for me to stay here, and then I would fly back to see your Mom and Emily on weekends whenever I please.”

“That sounds great, Dad. I must admit, Sienna and I do enjoy a bit of Robin and George in the morning, they're a great duo.”

“What's he like?” Emily asked suddenly.

  “Who?”

  “Sienna's boyfriend?”

“Oh! Yeah, he's okay, I suppose.”

  “You suppose?” Mrs. Cooper asked.

“I don't know, I just think that Sienna can do a lot better. She met the guy at my charity gig, they hooked up for one night and because he's good in bed Sienna thinks he's the one for her.”

  “Jake!”

“Sorry, Mom! But it's true, otherwise why else would she be with the guy?”

“Son, I understand that you're frustrated. If it really bothers you this much about who Sienna dates, then you really need to tell her how you feel. Like your Mom said, one day you might just snap and it'll come out. That'll be much worse.”

“I just think she's setting herself too low, that's all. She's free to date who she wants, I just don't know what I have to do to make her notice me.”

“Maybe you're trying too hard,” Emily said.

  “What?”

“Maybe you're trying too hard to get Sienna's attention. Take it from me, when Chris asked me out, he was a little more subtle. He told me he liked me, asked me out and one week later, we were officially dating. We've been together since.”

  “And that's subtle?”

“It is compared to the way you're handling things.”

  “What's that supposed to mean?”

“Jake, ask Sienna out. Stop walking around the house all depressed and negative. Sienna has been in our family for years, you two know each other better than anyone. If you seriously think that Sienna is going to walk out on you because you've told her how you feel, then maybe you don't really know her at all. The worst she can say is 'no'.”

“She could also tell me to get lost.”

“Jesus Chris, Jake. You're being stupid. Just tell her how you feel.”

The four of them sat there, Jake was quiet and he looked at his parents and sister. Maybe Emily had a point, the worst Sienna could say was no.

He sat there quietly, thinking about what Emily had just said. But what if Sienna DID say no and end their friendship? Jake couldn't live without her.

  “What are you thinking, Jake?”

  “Nothing, Dad.”

After talking for a few hours, it was almost time for dinner. Jake didn't have anything prepared, he was always used to Sienna cooking something for both of them or getting a quick bite to eat on her way home from work.

“Sorry, I actually don't have anything prepared for dinner. If I had known you were coming, I would have gone shopping,” Jake said from the kitchen.

Mrs. Cooper stood up and walked to the kitchen, “How about I head to the grocery store? I can whip us up something quickly.”

“Mom, seriously you don't have to do that.”

“No, please I insist. Since you’ve left home Jake, it’s not often that the four of us are able to share a meal together.”

Jake looked at his Mom, as she smiled at him, he couldn't help but get slightly emotional. His eyes began to tear up slightly, but he took a deep breath and managed to quickly calm himself down.

“There is a grocery store about a mile down the road.” He handed her the keys to his car, she grabbed her purse and headed out the door. Jake grabbed two beers from the fridge and handed one to his Dad and poured Emily a soda.

“So, can we hear this album?” Mr. Cooper asked.

“Shouldn't we wait for Mom to get back? We can listen to it over dinner.”

  “Sure, good idea.”

“How's work going, Em? How do you find juggling college and a job?”

“It's actually not as hard as I thought it was going to be. I've managed to change my roster so that I'm only working on weekends, giving me time for study. It's working really well.”

“That's really good, I'm so proud of you sis. And how's Chris?”

“He's great. Working hard and looking after me.”

  “I'm really happy for you.”

The door opened some thirty minutes later and their mother walked in, bags of groceries in both arms. She walked over to the kitchen and unpacked the groceries.

“How does Mexican for dinner sound?”

“Taco's?” Emily and Jake said together. Their mother made the best tacos, it was their regular weekly meals and one of their favorites.

“I realize it’s not Wednesday, but I think we can make the exception, just this once.” Jake and Emily smiled, whenever they were down and things were bad, their Mom's tacos always made everything feel right again.

“Hey, Jake since Mom's back, you promised to play us that CD,” Emily said.

Jake grabbed a copy of his CD and placed it into the CD player. After pressing play he sat at the table and Mrs. Cooper dished up the tacos. The familiar smell of his mother's cooking that he had so badly missed, circled the living room.

“Mom, these look delicious, just the way I remember them,” he said.

The CD started playing, and as Jake's vocals echoed through the living room, Mr. Cooper raised his glass.

“To, Jake! May all your hopes, dreams and desires come true,” he said.

  “To family,” Mrs. Cooper added.

“To love and friendship,” Emily said raising her glass also.

“To happiness,” Jake finished, raising his glass also.

The four of them clinked their glasses and enjoyed their meal as Jake looked at his family and smiled.

“Why the hell can’t I stop thinking about her?”

Lukas lay awake in his hotel room, staring up at the ceiling. He turned and looked at the photo of the two of them that was resting on the dresser next to his bed.

“It’s been over a week since the Vegas gig and I just can’t get her out of my head. I know she gave me her number, but should I risk it? Should I call her and let her know that she’s all I’ve been thinking about?”

Reaching for his phone, Lukas thought carefully about what he was about to do. He had millions of girls chasing after him, many of them throwing articles of clothing at him on stage. But Sienna, she was different, he felt a connection with her. There was something about her presence that filled his body with an unexplained desire.

  He wanted her.

He stood up and headed for the bathroom. Stripping out of his clothes, he stepped into the shower, hoping to relieve the stress and frustration that had now suddenly replaced the desire that he previously felt.

He walked out of the bathroom, water dripping down his chest and the towel wrapped around his waistline. Sitting down on the bed, he grabbed his guitar that was resting against the wall and swung it over his neck.

“Oh, Sienna,” he hummed, as he strummed the strings on the guitar.

He placed the guitar on the bed and stood up, walking over to his window and stared outside.

His head was full of thoughts, was it right for him to fall for a fan, instantly? Was there really such a thing as love at first sight? One thing was for certain, this was more than just a crush.

With his mind finally made up, he grabbed his phone and began typing; Sienna! I know this is going to sound really crazy and dumb, but since meeting you, I just can’t stop thinking about you. You're all that I think about. I know it’s crazy, right? The band and I are performing in Rome tonight. I’ve been sitting in my hotel room for hours and I just can’t get you out of my head.

He looked around, trying to remember where he placed the card with Sienna's number on it. He finally found it amongst his clothes which were lying all over the floor. He added her phone number and hesitated.

“This is wrong, I shouldn't be doing this. I don't have time for a relationship. It would never work, the tours, the late night recording s
essions, the stress, and the moods.” It was as though his finger had a mind of its own, without any control, it hit send.

“Shit!” He whispered, throwing the phone on the bed.

Feeling frustrated and nervous, he paced the room, running his hands through his hair. He looked in the mirror and stared at his reflection. Letting out a deep breath, he slowly began to relax.

“Oh, well! She'll probably ignore the message anyway and just think it's someone playing a prank,”

No sooner had the words left his lips, his phone beeped. Lukas turned around and stared at the phone, which was still lying on the bed.

Slowly and nervously, he walked over to it and read the message on the screen.

Oh my god! Lukas? Wow! I seriously don’t know what to say. I actually didn’t even expect you to text me to be honest. How can I be sure this is REALLY you?

It was exactly what he had predicted, there was no way she would ever believe it was him. He had no way of proving who he was. Then he realized, he had handed her the jacket she was wearing as she was leaving the room.

You were wearing a leather jacket with the initials SF stitched on the front left side in maroon thread. I handed it to you as you were about to leave.

He remembered the feeling of the soft leather, the satin and the distinctive smell of her Rhianna fragrance all over it as his finger hit send, once more.

After a few minutes of silence, his phone beeped again.

That’s right! Oh my god! It really IS you, her message read.

Lukas replied with a smiley face emoji, his stress and frustration seemed to vanish and suddenly he felt quite happy and relaxed.

So, how are you? Lukas text.

I’m good! I’m just sitting here at my desk, working. What about you? How is the tour going? What time is it in Rome?

Lukas smiled as he replied; The tour is going great. We have two more shows here in Rome, tonight and tomorrow and then Monday, we head to Japan. You're working on a Saturday? It’s almost four p.m. here at the moment.

The smile on his face widened, he sat down on the bed and waited.
