“How are you going to get their signatures,” Grace asked. “They have to sign it and take an oath, you know.”

“That’s where my man is going to come in handy.” Chrystina smiled at Myles.

“Oh, how is that?” He asked.

“You’re going to ask Cainan to join us when we go to City Hall,” she replied.

“And how do we get AnnieMarie there?” He asked.

Chrystina looked over her shoulder at the couple sitting in the center section of the plane wrapped in each other’s arms. She laughed as she turned back.

“Cainan goes, AnnieMarie goes,” Grace answered.

“She is not letting that man out of her sight for a while,” Chrystina nodded.

Grace glanced at the couple. “You know, I have a better way to get the marriage license signed without them having to go to City Hall.”

“That would be great. Then Winnie really could make this a surprise wedding.”

“Daisy?” Winnie called out as soon as she walked in the house. “Daisy?”

“I heard you the first time,” Daisy walked up behind her from the pantry.

Winnie gasped. “You scared the living daylights out of me.”

“You must not be living right if that rattled your nerves,” Daisy smirked. “What’s going on with you? You have that anxious look on your face.”

Winnie broke out into a wide smile. “We’re going to have a wedding.”

“Yes, I know. Myles and Chrystina.”

  “No. Where’s Monica?”

“Oh,” Daisy frowned then smiled. “Grace and Jonathan set a date?”

“No, no.” Winnie sighed. “I’m planning a surprise wedding for AnnieMarie and Cainan.”

“How in the hell do you plan a surprise wedding?” Daisy huffed.

“Just trust me,” Winnie said. “I need you to call the woman at AnnieMarie’s house. We’re going to need her help with this.” Winnie ran up the backstairs calling out. “Monica, I’m going to need your help.”

AnnieMarie walked into the mudroom of the house. Cainan wasn’t behind her. She looked back to see him standing in the garage.

  “Cainan?”

“Yes, I’m coming,” he slowly replied. “Do you realize this garage is larger than my condo?”

“It’s larger than many condos,” AnnieMarie laughed as she pulled him into the house, kicking the door closed behind them.

She pressed him against the wall covering his body with hers. She took his lips with the urgency of a woman longing for the man she loves. And he was there, where she could touch him everywhere her mind wandered before. She could taste him and moaned as their tongues entwined, the tantalizing swirl behind the power of his kiss sent sensations more intense than the ones from her dreams. Every vein in her body was ignited by the sensual way he held her in his arms.

Cainan was throbbing from the tip of his toes, through his balls, to the tip of his dick. Everything exploded when their bodies made contact. He swung her around, placing her back to the wall. Every inch of his body was leaning into her. He felt her nipples as they hardened against his chest. His lips trailed from hers to her neck, her shoulders, back to her lips. His hands felt for the zipper in the back of her dress and pulled it slowly down. His fingers touched her skin that was as smooth as silk. The touch ignited a fire that he could not control. He pulled the dress from her shoulders, as his lips followed the trail of her dress as it fell to her waist. Her nipples popped free. He captured a dark bud with his lips. His tongue roamed the erect bud as he felt her hands holding him securely against her.

“Oh my God, Cainan, I’m burning up,” she said against his head.

His hand pushed the dress to the floor, as he took the other nipple into his mouth. Sucking, swirling his tongue over and around it until he heard her moan. His tongue traveled down to the black lace boy shorts covering her behind. He reached behind her, tore the panties in half then let them drop. His head moved to the soft curls between her legs. He kissed her thighs, then spread them apart with his hands and inhaled. Her scent stirred his desire to taste her in a way that caused him to lose all sense of restraint. He eased her to the floor, he put her legs over his shoulders and his tongue dove in and he drank her juices like a man taking his first cold glass of water after being in a desert for two years.

His tongue stroked in and out, lapping up every bit of juice she released. Then he sucked on her nub. He heard her intake of breath and felt her shudder. An inexplicable joy filled him as her body jerked and bucked. Her juices bursting loose quenched his thirst. Her body moved feverishly against his tongue. Clamping the top of his head, she held him there. He needed to see her expression. His mouth covered her lips. His kiss as feverish as the heat between her legs. He broke the kiss, held his head up and looked up into her face. The expression on her face changed from anticipation, to astonishment.

He moaned. Coming to his knees, he unzipped his pants then thrust inside of her. The heat surrounding him was so intense, he could feel his dick growing thicker, harder than it had been for years. He groaned as her legs wrapped around him, pulling him deeper inside her. He pulled out, then thrust back in. The second time was more intense than the first.

“God, AnnieMarie,” he pushed in again, his body moving at its own will. Faster, deeper, faster, deeper, again and again until he felt her body shudder again. Her lips convulsed around him, squeezing, pulling everything he had from him. His body was burning, his veins pumping vigorously, until the pressure traveled from his heart, through his balls and out the tip of his dick. She drained him in that moment.

His lips covered hers, in a rough, thorough lashing of his tongue with hers. She stroked his as fiercely as he did hers. The pounding of his heart began to ease, the kiss becoming softer, their tongues slowing, their lips loosening. He entwined his fingers through hers, raised her hands above her head, then released her lips.

Cainan looked down into her eyes as they slowly opened. “You have been intoxicating me since the moment I saw you. I knew you were the only woman for me. I would walk through the fires of hell to be with you for the rest of my life. I know I asked before and I’m asking again. AnnieMaire Dunning please be my wife.”

She cupped his face with her hands as she gazed into his eyes. “Yes.”

They smiled at each other, then began laughing.

AnnieMarie brought his lips to hers and whispered. “You owe me 730 days of that monster dick of yours making love to me. With compounded interest that would now come to 1095 days.”

“You charging 50% interest per day?”

“Sounds about right.” She kissed his lips with a tenderness that made him moan. She could feel him growing inside of her again. Her hands trailed down to his behind, massaging him, causing him to move inside of her. She could feel her inner core contracting around him. His hand was roaming over her thigh. He raised one over his shoulder.

She gasped as he moved deeper, hitting nerves she never knew existed. Causing sensation after sensation to spring throughout her body. She screamed, in quick gasps, taking his powerful thrust again and again and again. And she wanted more, lifting her body up to match him stroke for stroke, their breathing, panting, hearts pounding and bodies slapping against each other. The second explosion caused both of them to scream, his movements slowing, their sweaty bodies glistening and their hearts becoming one.

  CHAPTER 43

“Did he say why it had to be today?” AnnieMarie asked as Cainan held the car door open for her.

“No babe, he did not say.” He took her hand into his. “Whatever the reason, Myles will explain when we go inside.” He kissed her on the lips. “The sooner we do,” he kissed her neck, “the sooner we can go to my place, pack my things and go back to your house.”

“Our house,” AnnieMarie moaned from his touch. She grabbed his hand then rushed inside.

“Oh man, it smells good in here.”

  “It sure does,” A
nnieMarie smiled as she walked into the kitchen. “Daisy?”

“Hey, you are right on time,” Daisy said as she walked from the direction of the family room. “Myles is in the family room waiting for you two. Hurry up, now.” She scooted them out of the kitchen.

“Well look who came up for air,” Grace stood.

“Hi,” AnnieMarie glanced back at Cainan. “Look honey, the whole family is here. Kind of makes you wonder who is running the office.”

  “Warren,” Grace replied.

“Sydney has my office,” Jonathan replied.

“Annatasha is holding down the executive offices and I am certain Phillip is handling public relations just fine,” Myles added.

“And this is a friend of Grace’s,” Chrystina pointed to the one person in the room they did not know. “Her name is Sue Evans and she is the City Clerk for the city of Richmond. We need you to sign these documents.”

“What documents?” Cainan asked as they walked over.

AnnieMarie gasped. “A marriage license?” She frowned.

“Yes, we figured you two didn’t want to wait, so Chrystina filled out the application and I asked my friend to come over in her official capacity as City Clerk, witness your signatures and give you the oath.”

“All you have to do is sign the document, take the oath and you are on your way down the aisle.” Gary said from the doorway.

  “You’re late.” Myles frowned.

“True, but I am here now,” he said as he walked into the room. “What are you two waiting for? Sign the document.”

“Cainan?” AnnieMarie looked up into his eyes. “I have no idea what they are up to.”

“You will not know what comes next until you sign the document,” Chrystina smiled.

Cainan stepped forward pulling his hand from AnnieMarie’s. “We were planning on getting married so we might as well get the license out of the way.”

The Clerk asked each of them for identification. She verified their identities then asked each to hold up their right hand. She read the oath then held out a pen. Cainan signed the document then gave the pen to AnnieMarie.

Mike immediately grabbed Cainan by the neck. “Come with me.”

Grace took AnnieMarie’s arm. “You are going this way.”

“What is going on Grace,” AnnieMarie hissed. “Where is Mike taking Cainan. And where in the hell are you taking me?”

“To your mother.” Grace replied as she stomped up the back staircase pulling AnnieMarie behind her. “I bet you’ve been in that house of yours fornicating all night long.” She stopped suddenly when they reached the top of the staircase. AnnieMarie bumped into Grace as she turned to face her. “Suppose you got pregnant? Did you stop to even think of protection?”

AnnieMarie was a bit flabbergasted as her sister started pulling her towards her mother’s bedroom. “I knew we should have whipped your ass more when you were little.”

“Wait a damn minute,” AnnieMarie jerked away from her sister. “Have you lost your mind, Grace?”

“No,” she pushed open the double doors to her mother’s room. “We are finally helping you to find your peace of mind.”

In the center of the room, Winnie was standing next to a wedding dress on a mannequin. Monica was on the other side with a needle and thread.

“This is the dress I wore on the day I married your father,” Winnie said. “Monica has touched it up a bit to fit your taste. I hope you like it.”

Tears came to AnnieMarie’s eyes just looking at the dress. She stepped into the room forgetting all about the argument with her sister. “Oh my god Mother, it’s beautiful. Now I know where I get my taste in these vintage dresses.” She wiped a tear from her eye, then looked around. “But where am I wearing it to?”

“Funny you should ask.” Winnie smiled.

  “Surprise!”

AnnieMarie turned to see Chrystina, Grace, Kennedy, Kandace and Mrs. Wagner standing in the doorway. “Hey,” she beamed as she walked over and hugged each. “What are you all doing here?”

“This is called a surprise wedding.” Kaitlyn smiled.

  “For who?”

“You,” Chrystina laughed. “Come on. Start getting out of those clothes. Cainan has waited long enough.”

  “Wait….wait…wait.” AnnieMarie shouted. “What?”

  “You’re getting married,” Kennedy exclaimed.

“Today, preferably soon,” Kandace said as she rubbed her stomach. “This baby isn’t going to wait much longer.”

“Oh no,” AnnieMarie gasped. “Are you in labor?”

All eyes turned to Kandace. “No. I am just anxious to see Cainan get married.”

AnnieMarie looked around at everyone in the room. Then she looked into her mother’s eyes. “Are you serious?”

“Yes darling, we are.” Winnie took her hand. “You and Cainan have wasted enough time.” She started walking toward her dressing room. “Knowing you, that poor boy would have to wait until after Myles and Christina’s wedding.”

When they walked into the dressing room a hairstylist and a makeup artist were already there. “Go on, take a shower. You’re getting married…today.”

AnnieMarie’s hands cupped her mouth. “Really?” The excitement was beginning to build up inside. “I’m getting married?”

  “Yes, darling you are.”

Cainan stood in the gardens of the Dunning’s home. Nervously waiting. The Mayor was on his right while his father stood on his left chuckling in his ear. “This is not funny.”

“It is to me, son,” Scott laughed. “A year ago I would not have thought this day was possible. Now I’m standing next to my son, who I consider a hero, as his best man as he is about to marry the woman of his dreams.” He nodded. “Yes, I not only find this funny, I’m proud as hell to be standing here with you.”

Cainan turned to look at his father who always seemed to know exactly what to say at any given time. He smiled then turned back to watch his mother who was walking down the walkway that ran through the rose garden. She sat down next to Kennedy, Kandace and Wayne. “You married the woman of your dreams, setting an example of heroism.”

Scott laughed out loud just as the music began playing.

It was the traditional wedding march, Cainan acknowledged as he watched Winnie walk into the garden then sit on the opposite side of his mother. Chrystina hurried out to sit next to Winnie followed by Daisy and Jonathan. Then Grace appeared dressed in an off-the shoulder, A-line, tea-length, satin dress, with a single strand of pearls round her neck and pearl-drops in her ears. She was beautiful, Cainan thought as she marched up the walkway. He glanced over her shoulder and had to do a double take at the vision that stood in the open French doors. A breathless whisper escaped his lips. “My AnnieMarie.”

He was there, dressed in a dark suit, with that deer in the headlights look. AnnieMarie smiled at him and just like that he smiled back. She had on a tea-length, lace dress, with a fitted bodice, and a flared skirt. Matching open finger lace gloves covered her hands that held a single red rose. She wore her hair up in a French roll and had on a chic, vintage hat with a birdcage veil. Her only jewelry was a pair of linear teardrop earrings dangling along the side of her neck. As she walked with Myles at her side, Gary and Mike behind them, her mind drifted to her father. Myles must have felt her tense. He placed his hand over hers.

  “He is here.”

AnnieMarie looked up at her brother and smiled. “I know. He’s in you.”

They stopped in front of the Mayor.

“Which of you are giving the bride away?”

“All of us.” Mike, Gary and Myles replied.

The family in the garden laughed. Myles kissed AnnieMarie on her cheek.

Cainan stepped forward, clasping her hands in his.

The Mayor greeted and congratulated them, then proceeded to unite Cainan Scott Wagner and AnnieMarie Dunning as man and wife. Before he completed the statement, Cainan pulled AnnieMarie into his arm
s, kissing her with every ounce of love he had for her.

  CHAPTER 44

“How many damn bedrooms can there be in one house?”

AnnieMarie wasn’t positive, but she had to be dreaming.

“AnnieMarie Dunning, where in the hell are you?”

“Babe?” Cainan stretched with her in his arms. “I think you are being summoned.”

“Can’t be,” she moaned against his chest. “The sun isn’t up.”

  “Where the hell is she?”

Heels could be heard clicking against the hardwood floors.

AnnieMarie growled. “I know those steps anywhere.”

“Yes, they sound just like yours.”

With her hair falling in her face, she cracked one eye open looking at her husband. “If you weren’t so fine, I would find a way to torture you right now.”

Cainan, smiled. “Your body next to mine without me inside of you is torture enough,” he brushed her hair aside, then thrust his tongue into her mouth rendering her protest silent.

The door swung open. They heard a few steps and knew their space had been invaded.

  “There you are.”

Cainan and AnnieMarie turned to see Gina standing in the doorway between the sitting area and the sleeping area of their suite. She was dressed in a white, 50s vintage, short sleeved, pleated, swing dress, with a purse hanging from her arm, and elbow length gloves in her hand.

“How in the hell can you look so put together at five-thirty in the morning?” Cainan asked.

“Good genes,” AnnieMarie and Gina replied simultaneously. The two laughed.

“We cannot help who we are, darling,” AnnieMarie said as she slid from his arms. “Gina, do you mind?”

“No, girl, I don’t mind. Go’on strut that body across that floor. I just wanted to let you know I got the decorators starting downstairs with the setup.” She turned, walking back to the door. “Take all the time you need, but I expect you downstairs in thirty minutes. That should be enough time to get the chairs set up.” She closed the door behind her leaving the couple staring.
