Remember Me Page 7

She took a breath and rose to her knees before kissing his chin. “Tell me.”

He smiled smugly and gripped her hips almost to the point of painful. “I want to bury my cock deep in your pussy and watch you come undone around me.”

“What else?” she asked, biting his bottom lip.

“I want to dive between your legs and devour you completely, never coming up for air.”

Keisha’s breath caught at that image.

“I want to restrain you. Bind you. Cut off all of your senses to everything except for me. To touch, taste, smell, hear and see only me. That is what I want,” he purred, pulling her against him.

She gasped at the hard erection pressing against her core and leaned back against the steering wheel.

“As much as I think I’m in control, I’m not. Not when it comes to you, Keisha. Don’t you see that?”

Keisha ran her hands down his chest and gripped his belt, slowly unbuckling it. She wanted him so badly her body ached and throbbed for him. Not sure what it said about her since they were both mad at each other but she needed him. Needed to feel him inside her.

Undoing his pants, she reached in, freeing his hard cock.

  “Turn around,” he husked.

She swallowed hard at the deep commanding tone of his voice and did as he said, planting her feet on the floor.

Garrith moved the seat all the way back before running his hands up her legs. “Lift your dress.”

Grabbing the material and holding it around her waist, she waited, the cool air washing over her skin.

Garrith wrapped an arm around her middle and ran his cock over her soaked core, making her jump before lowering her onto him. “Is this what you wanted?”

Biting her lip at the feel of him inside her, she nodded. She went to move when he tightened his hold.

  “Stop.”

She stopped and held onto the steering wheel.

He kissed her nape but didn’t move. “Do you feel me?”

  Keisha swallowed. “Yes.”

He ran his hands down her arms, the tiny hairs raising under his touch. “Do you feel me inside you?”

She shivered at his question. His voice was deep, his words erotic, washing over her.

  “Tell me.”

  “I…I feel you,” she panted.

“Do you feel how hard you make me? How one touch from you and I’m done?” Garrith ran his hands under her dress, gripping her hips.

  “I…yes…”

Garrith lifted her and pulled out slowly, sending electric shivers down her back. “Good.”

“Gar—” Keisha cried out when he slammed back into her, filling her completely. She hugged the steering wheel, holding on as he pounded into her with an intensity she craved.

“Every time you move, your muscles are going to twitch and ache, reminding you that I was there. I make you feel good. No other man can give your body the pleasure it craves like I can. Remember that, kitten.” Garrith pulled out again and thrust in harder, making her gasp.

  “Oh God!”

Garrith wrapped an arm around her waist and sped up his thrusts. “Feel me.”

  Keisha gasped. “I do. I…shit…”

“That’s it. Feel my cock fuck your hot, sweet pussy.” Garrith leaned back and grabbed her hips, lifting her up and down on his hard length.

Keisha rode him with everything in her. “Garrith, I need…”

He dropped her onto him in a hard thrust and she screamed as an explosion erupted from her core. Garrith grunted, releasing into her. His hot come filled her.

Leaning against him, Keisha’s chest rose and fell, her heart thumping a mile a minute. “Garrith, I—”

“We should go,” he said, running his hands up and down her arms.

Her skin tingled under his touch but she didn’t want to go just yet. Being around other people would mean that they wouldn’t be talking about their problems and they needed to fix them. “Please, I’m…I’m sorry.”

“Keisha,” Garrith said, his voice full of warning. He lifted her off of him and placed her gently on the seat beside him before righting his pants.

A lump formed in her throat and Keisha almost whimpered at the loss. “Please, talk to me. I need to know…”

Garrith glared, his features going hard. “Know what, Keisha? That every time we have sex a piece of me dies because I keep thinking it’s the fucking last time I’ll get to touch you?”

  Keisha gasped. “Garrith, I never—”

“Just drop it. We’ll go see Sebastian and Tori. I’ll get what I need from him and you can visit. I’ll drop you off later and be out of your life for good.”

A sob escaped her lips. “I don’t want that.”

Garrith slammed his hand on the steering wheel. “What the hell do you want then?”

“I want to remember you!” she cried out.

His gaze searched her face. “Why?”

  “Because…I…”

  “Because why, Keisha?” he pressed.

Keisha huffed. “Please, just believe me.”

“Why?” His eyes turned cold. “So you can remember how much you hated me?”

  Chapter 9

  Shit.

Garrith had not meant to ask that but she got him so riled up he couldn’t stop himself. He was always in control. Even before Keisha lost her memory, he controlled everything. Her, his life, everything.

Now that she didn’t remember him, something had changed. It was like she was controlling him and she didn’t even know it. And to have sex with her in his vehicle? Stupid stupid stupid.

He was never going to get the smell of her out of his SUV now. Her smell was permanently etched into his brain. The sweet scent of roses mixed with the sweet taste of…Garrith’s dick throbbed at the thought of her juices coating his tongue.

“Garrith, I could never hate you,” she said, placing her hand on his arm.

He scoffed. “You did. You hated me twice. I can’t…” Fuck. It was too soon. Way too soon.

Turning on the SUV, he pulled out of the parking lot, needing a distraction.

“I don’t believe you,” she whispered.

How could she? It’s not like she remembered anything anyways. “Just drop it, Keisha.”

  “No. Talk to me.”

The pleading in her voice ate at his soul but his mouth dried up. Words wouldn’t form on his tongue. She was going to hate him again for not talking to her but it was better than her finding out what really happened in their past.

Keisha huffed, small bursts of breath leaving her lips.

She was crying. Garrith swore to himself. He never meant to make her cry. Well, what did you expect, asshole?

He frowned. “Keisha…” His voice trailed off.

They drove the rest of the way in silence. As soon as he pulled into the driveway of Tori and Sebastian’s small home, Keisha dashed out of the vehicle before he even put it into park.

Garrith slowly got out of the SUV, his body tense. His muscles hurt and his bones cracked when he moved. Either he was getting old or he needed a release and not the kind that Keisha had given him. His dick jumped at that memory. God, what was wrong with him?

He watched Keisha stand at the doorway, waiting for someone to answer, when the hairs at the back of his neck rose. He frowned and looked around him. Since the shit with Jose Alvarez went down a couple of months ago, he had given the FBI agent who had watched over Tori for two years a new case. John Lecter lost his partner. Garrith couldn’t begin to imagine how difficult and hard that was to get over. Looks like they both had lost something during that shit storm.

A hand landed on his shoulder, jarring him from his thoughts. He turned to find Sebastian Chelios staring at him, black eyes darkened, jaw tense. “Where the fuck have you been, asshole?” Sebastian asked, punching him in the shoulder.

Garrith sighed and opened his mouth to reply when he was pulled into an embrace. “I hear congratulations are in order,” Garrith said, returning the qui
ck hug.

Sebastian pulled away. “Thank you, but don’t change the fucking subject. Where have you been?”

Brooding. Moping. Slowly destroying his liver. “Around.”

Sebastian barked a laugh. “That’s my answer, jackass.” He placed his hands on Garrith’s shoulders. “Seriously, man, what’s going on?”

Garrith couldn’t tell him that he was drinking away his life for the past six months because his girl forgot who he was. “I’ve been…around.”

Sebastian sighed and released him. “You’ve known me for too long.”

Garrith and Sebastian walked up the sidewalk to the house. Knowing his friend, who had problem after problem thrown at him for his whole young life, was now finally happy made him ecstatic for him. Jealousy wavered in his stomach. He wanted Sebastian happy but more than anything, he wanted Keisha happy.

“When’s the wedding?” Garrith asked, needing to get his mind off of the shitty situation.

“If you would have been around, you would know,” Sebastian bit out as they entered his house.

“I called you. You could have told me then.”

Sebastian grabbed his arm and closed the door. “Garrith, you called once every couple of weeks letting me know that you were safe and then you would hang up.”

  “Yeah, but—”

“When the hell was I supposed to tell you?” Sebastian’s dark eyes searched his face.

Garrith met his stare head on. A moment later, he looked away. His friend was right. God, he was such an asshole.

  “How’d you find out anyways?”

Garrith raised an eyebrow but didn’t answer.

Sebastian shook his head. “Did you have Lector tailing us?”

Garrith smirked. “He followed you the night you proposed.”

“A little paranoid are we?” Sebastian walked down the hall.

“I had every reason to be,” Garrith mumbled, following him.

  “Yeah, you did.”

They stepped into the dining room and found Keisha and Tori deep in conversation at the table. Tori was glowing with happiness. Her pale skin was further pronounced by her black head of hair that was pulled back into a ponytail.

Sebastian went around the table and kissed Tori on the forehead, making her smile.

Keisha looked up at Garrith but didn’t say anything as he sat beside her.

“It’s about time you showed up, Garrith,” Tori scolded.

“Little one,” Sebastian said in warning.

“I’m glad I’m back,” Garrith replied.

Keisha scoffed and folded her arms under her chest.

Tori looked between the two of them and shook her head. “Keisha, did you want to come get Antonio with me?”

Keisha jumped up and headed toward the stairs.

“I take that as a yes.” Tori frowned.

Sebastian pulled up a chair beside him but didn’t say anything.

Garrith could feel his gaze boring into the back of his skull as he waited. His nerves rattled through him. “Just say it already.”

  Sebastian smirked. “Say what?”

Garrith huffed and rose to his feet, pacing back and forth. “I hate you sometimes.”

“No, you don’t, but good try. Wanna tell me what’s going on?”

Garrith stopped. “No. Why would I?”

“Just wondering if you wanted to talk.”

“God, you’re as bad as Keisha,” Garrith mumbled. “I don’t want to talk. I’m a guy. We don’t talk. Guys do not fucking talk.”

Sebastian chuckled. “I know that feeling.”

  ***

“What the hell is going on between you two?”

Keisha swallowed hard at her best friend’s question. Where did she begin? She paced the small room as Tori bounced her son on her knee.

  “Keisha.”

“I really have no idea what’s going on. Garrith is fine the one moment and then closed off the next.” Keisha stopped in front of a family picture hanging on the wall of Tori, Sebastian, and Antonio. They were all smiling. Happy. I want that.

“Is he talking to you at least? I mean about your past?”

“No. He’s giving me little hints and has told me some things but I know there’s more. He’s asked me to be patient with him but I need answers. I don’t know how long I can wait.” Keisha turned and leaned against the dresser, scrubbing a hand down her face.

Tori scoffed. “I so know that feeling. Sebastian still won’t open up completely about everything but he’s told me enough that I’m fine if he doesn’t tell me anymore.”

  Keisha turned to her. “Really?”

“Yeah. I love him. With everything in me and more.” She tickled Antonio, making him giggle. “And this little guy is our world. I wouldn’t change anything. All the stuff we’ve been through, it was worth it.”

“I’m so jealous of you right now.” Keisha meant it as a joke but a part of her was serious. She was jealous. She wanted that happiness for herself and Garrith but she had no idea where to begin to make that happen.

“It’ll come in time. You have to be patient. That’s what everyone told me and look at us now.”

“I don’t want to be patient. I want him to tell me everything now.” Keisha didn’t mean to whine but the desperation she felt made tears burn her eyes.

Tori rose to her feet and placed Antonio in Keisha’s arms, hugging her in the process. “I know. Being patient sucks. Trust me. I of all people definitely know that.”

Keisha sighed and squeezed Antonio against her. The scent of baby and lotion filled her nostrils, making her tense body relax. Tori had told her that she was there when she gave birth to him but she didn’t remember. It saddened her that she had forgotten such a special moment in her friend’s life.

“It’s my lover.” Garrith looked at Keisha and winked.

“Hi Tori!” she called out and walked up to him. “Let me talk to her, please,” she said.

  “We’ll talk later, Tor—”

Keisha cupped him over his pants and grabbed the phone from his hands.

His deep blue eyes twinkled, a wicked smile spreading on his strong jaw. “You’ll pay for that later, love.”

Keisha gasped as a sharp pain erupted behind her eyes. She did pay for it later too. All she could remember was that her ass was sore for a couple of days.

“Keisha?” Tori grabbed Antonio from her hands.

“I just…I need a moment.” Keisha took deep breaths as the pain quickly diminished.

  “What happened?”

“Headache.” She looked up into the concern filled eyes of her friend. “I’m fine, honest.”

  “Are you remembering things?”

Keisha nodded and squeezed the bridge of her nose.

“You don’t seem too happy about that.”

“I’m more frustrated. It’s just snippets. I can’t see everything and it’s driving me fucking insane.” Hot tears threatened to escape her eyes and Keisha angrily brushed them away.

“What did you remember just now?” Tori put Antonio in his playpen and walked back up to her, leaning against the dresser.

“I remember Garrith talking on the phone. He told me it was his lover and I knew instantly that it was you.”

  “Hmm…I don’t know when…oh my gosh…” Tori gasped.

Keisha looked up at her. “Do you remember when that was?”

Tori nodded. “That was a couple of months ago. I called him because Jose had crank called me.”

Keisha’s skin crawled at the mention of that asshole’s name.

“What else did you remember, Keisha?”

Her cheeks heated. “Well, I stole the phone from Garrith to talk to you and…”

  “And what?”

Keisha pushed off the desk and paced back and forth in front of her. “I don’t think our sex life was very…conventional.”

  Tori shrugged. “So?”

“Well, I just feel like maybe I was a freak,” Keisha mumbled.

/>   “You guys had fun. Nothing wrong with that. As long as it’s safe and consensual between you both, who cares?”

A weight lifted off of Keisha at Tori’s words. She tried convincing herself of that but hearing it from someone else helped.

“You will submit to me, kitten.”

Keisha scoffed. “You can’t control me.”

Garrith smirked and grabbed her chin, placing a hard kiss on her lips before releasing her.

Her eyes dilated and her lips parted, small bursts of air leaving her mouth as she tilted her head. More.

He smiled smugly and ran a finger down her cheek. “Love, I already do.”

“Shit.” Another wave of pain exploded behind Keisha’s eyes and she dropped to her knees.

  “Another one?”

Keisha nodded and took deep cleansing breaths. “They never happened back-to-back before.”

Tori ran circles over her back, soothing her. “You guys had sex, didn’t you? Since all of this happened I mean.”

Keisha’s cheeks heated. Was it written all over her face? “How can you tell?”

Tori laughed. “Well from personal experience, I know how hard it is to keep my hands off of a dark brooding guy. One who thinks they can control you. Blah blah blah.”

Keisha laughed along with her, unease slowly settling in her belly. The difference between the two of them was that she wanted Garrith to control her every way he could but she couldn’t figure out why. The pain receded and she sat back on her haunches. “I don’t know why that one came on so quickly.”

“Maybe talking about sex is a trigger for you.”

Keisha rose to her feet. “Maybe.”

“It was something sexy you remembered, wasn’t it?”

  That was an understatement.

  Chapter 10

“So I know you missed me but what’s the real reason that you’re here?”

Garrith took a swig of his beer and coughed. Sebastian knew him well. “Does the name Lucas Crane ring a bell?”

Sebastian’s dark gaze met his but no recognition showed on his face. Man, he was good. The FBI should definitely consider recruiting him.

  “That depends on who’s asking.”

Garrith rose to his feet and threw the brown bottle into the trash. He pulled out the business card that was given to him and placed it on the table in front of Sebastian. He read the card, the muscles in his jaw tensing. Ah, looks like he recognized the name.
