Love, Lust and Conspiracy Page 10

by R. H. Politz

"Okay. I'll be ready in twenty minutes."

She got out and grabbed a towel. I took a step toward her and stopped. "Oops, I'd better go before you get me so excited that I rape you right here!" And, reluctantly, I backed up, turned and went to the other bathroom.

Later, Kari's guests arrived and we all sat on the patio waiting for Alfred to announce dinner. Jean, a middle aged woman and dean of admissions for a local college, said, "So Kimmy, I understand you're transitioning and it looks like you don't have far to go. Are you happy with your progress?"

My face turned red but Kari put her hand on my leg and said, "I'm sorry Kimmy. I didn't have a chance to tell you but Jean is one of Euphoria's special clients."

And apologetically, Jean added, "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you knew. About six years ago, I was John and, for the last three, Kari has solved most of my problems. I don't know what I would have done without her. Don't be embarrassed. I understand. I've been there."

The normal color came back to my cheeks so I asked Jean's friend. "And are you ––"

""No Kimmy," said Gorge with a smirk, "I'm just a boring old professor but, do you mind if I ask you a few questions?"

"No, but..., is this another sneaky test like the one with Ginger?" Kari laughed and shook her head, 'no'. "Okay then, fire away."

Although we talked about what I had done in college so far and what I wanted to do in the future, the atmosphere was more like an enjoyable social dinner than an interview. George, Jean and Kari all emphasized the marketability of a degree in the sciences. Their college had a respected course in computer science and information technology management and the question was; did I want to continue as a 'performing arts major' or change to twenty-first century management.

"This kind of knowledge is the future," said George, "and you're young enough to study the arts afterwards. You can have both."

Then Jean added, "Kimmy, I know what I went through and there's a lot of hardship you can avoid by changing your environment. Everyone will simply know you as Kimmy, right from the beginning. You can be who you really are."

Kari, of course, spoke of her fears. "The college is right on Broadway not too far from Euphoria. It's convenient and I won't have to worry every day about those jocks that threatened your life. You don't have to give up music and you can learn the things you said you wished you knew how to do. What do you think?"

I sat there, dazed, wondering what to say but all that came out was, "Wow!"

By the time George and Jean left, I had an appointment to tour the college and later, in bed, Kari said, "The choice is yours and I want you to do whatever you think is best but I really would worry if you went back to your old school. And besides, I'd miss you every day."

I rolled up on one elbow and kissed her hand. "I want to finish but I didn't know what to do about being away from you during the week."

  "Then you'll go?"

"If their school is any good at all, yes, I'll go there, live here and try to be as smart as you."

  "Kimmy...?"

  "Yes."

"I was never able to maintain a 'four point O' grade average. You are a genius and you can be anything you want to be in this world."

"Then I want to be, hmm..., let's see," I rolled over on my back. "I want to be..., um, the only thing I can think of is," I leaned back up, "your wife..., or husband, or, lover. Whatever you call it, I want to be 'it', with you, for the rest of our lives."

"Ha! You can be all of those things my love and, you just gave me a great idea!"

  * 11 * Carnival

Kari, Ginger, Jean and George arranged everything to register me as a female transfer student named Kimmy. The only thing I couldn't do was join a sorority or shower with the girls. And, since I didn't have to take gym, the rest was easy. I asked Ginger if the same thing could be done with my license and passport.

"Sorry Kimmy," Ginger said with a frown. "The law doesn't care what you look like. If your genitals are male, you're legally a man."

"That's okay Kimmy," said Kari. "I know it's inconvenient right now but, if you can live with it, I promise, it'll be worth it."

"What do you mean, 'worth it'?"

"For the answer to that my beautiful Kimmy, you'll have to wait. Be patient."

I laughed and looked at their smiles. "Another secret that I have to wait for, you love doing this to me don't you?" Kari and Ginger glanced at each other but said nothing so I tapped Kari's chest with a fingertip and said, "All right, I'll wait but what do I have to do this time?"

She kissed me and replied, "Nothing that you're not already doing, just forget it for now. I shouldn't have said anything."

Fall seemed especially beautiful that year and I started in the "IT Science/Management" program at a new college. Over the summer, I had only sent two short letters to Gina and it was time to give her the "juicy details" I promised so I got out my notepad and started a letter.

I wrote about how much I loved Kari and how my life had changed, how much I loved Kari and the new degree I had chosen. Then I mentioned how much I loved Kari and suddenly realized how many times I already wrote that so I put the notepad back into my purse and went to my next class. I'd have to write a new letter later.

Christmas break arrived, my grades were still perfect and I had an angel taking care of my every need. Life was wonderful and I was especially looking forward to this holiday since I had a very special gift for her. She already had every possible thing but I'd come up with something I could afford and, I hoped, she would enjoy. I walked out of the school, picked up her gift and went to the parking garage with a smile on my face. As I drove home, I kept glancing at the small black box wondering what she would say when she saw it but when I pulled up to the front door, I started crying; uncontrollably bawling at..., I knew not what! It just happened!"

Alfred opened my door and gasped. "Kimmy..., what happened? Are you injured?"

I waved my hand and blubbered incoherently trying to tell him I was all right and finally, after a few deep breaths, I was able to say, "I'm.... I'm okay Al-Alfred. I'm not h-hurt or anything." I got out and grabbed my books. "I'm s-sorry. It's nothing to be..., I-I have to go in." And I ran through the front door, up the stairs and fell on the bed sobbing like a baby.

He put my car away and told Kari when she pulled in a few minutes later. She flew into the bedroom just as I sat up on the edge of the bed wiping my face with a tissue.

  "What happened, what's wrong Kimmy?"

When I saw her, the tears started to flow all over again. She hugged me and kissed my forehead as my sobbing and crying continued unabated.

"Tell me what's bothering you my love," she whispered. "Shush, shush," she breathed while stroking my face and hair. "Whatever it is, we'll get through it."

We sat like that for a couple of minutes, Kari trying to comfort me and me wiping my face with tissues and I saw Alfred sneaking a quick peek through the open door obviously concerned about what calamity had struck the newest resident of the house. Finally, I looked into Kari's eyes and whimpered, "I don't know."

She looked puzzled. "You don't know what sweetie?"

"Why I started crying. It just happened." She looked even more puzzled. "I'm incredibly happy. I've got everything I ever dreamed of but, when I stopped the car, I thought of you, of us, and I just started bawling. I feel really stupid!"

With her knowing smile, she whispered, "I think it's the hormones. Tell me, are you happy?"

  "I've never been so happy."

"Yup...! It's the hormones. The same thing happened to me when I first started taking them. We'll talk to the doctor tomorrow."

"I don't want to change them. They're working. I'm getting bigger. Look!" I opened my blouse. "See, I'm a 'B" cup now and I want to be as big as you."

She hugged me and smiled. "Oh Kimmy, Kimmy, Kimmy..., I went through a year of that when the doctor put me on hormones and I thought I'd go crazy until we got the right balance."

  "You mean this is normal?"

"It's predictable but it won't last forever. By the way, have you made any progress on our Brazil problem?" That change of subject pulled me into a whole different demeanor. Kari knew exactly what she was doing with that question.

"Oh..., yeah..., I forgot to tell you! I learned how to set up a video surveillance system. If we go back, I can put some hidden cameras in various spots so we can record what's going on without being there."

"And you're on winter break from school, great! Let's do it! A Christmas vacation with you sounds wonderful and this time, you can wear a tiny bikini on the beach!"

I grinned but then thought about the passport issue. "But what about going through customs?"

"You are going to be a female impersonator! There's a carnival down there every year so this will be perfect timing. It'll work and Kimmy won't have to travel as Kim anymore."

  "Really...?"

"Yes, and if you perform on stage, we'll get photos. Then, you can travel to France and England the same way."

  "What kind of performance?"

"Well you sing and play wonderfully. Do you think you can do a song or two as a solo?"

A smile crept across my face as I thought about the songs I had written over the summer. "I love it! Sure, I can do that."

With the arrangements made and the equipment shipped to the hotel, two tall blonde girls approached the customs officer with nervous smiles. "Business or pleasure," asked the official when I put my passport on the counter.

"Both," I said trying to appear happy and calm. "I'm performing in the carnival and then we're going to vacation for a few days. "I guess that's pleasure..., I think. Is it..., is that right?"

He looked back and forth between me and my passport a few times, shook his head and stamped it. "Next," he yelled. I walked past the counter and breathed a long sigh of relief as we giggled and headed for the car rental counter.

The Euphoria Brasilia spa normally closed for the long Christmas and New Year weekends so we were able to install the cameras and transmitting equipment unobserved. Back at the hotel, I checked the web site. "Perfect...! And no one will ever see those tiny cameras."

  "Kimmy..., you're brilliant!"

"We're done. And, we've got a few hours before the show tonight so...," I breathed into her ear, "what would you like to do?"

Neither of us had to say a word. We kissed and hugged and then, for the next hour, we made love. It wasn't simply 'fucking' or any kind of game either. It was love; from the heart, the mind and the soul. The sex was wonderfully sensual but that was just icing on the cake of our rare bond. After we finally calmed down from our orgasmic spasms, I kissed her forehead and said, "I have something for you. Sit up."

When she saw what was in the little jewelry box, she held it up and shrieked, "It's exactly like yours! I love it. But, Kimmy..., that was expensive. How did you ––"

"Shush," I said interrupting her question and turning it over. "I've been tutoring other students since school started so I just saved up and had it made. It's not exactly like the one you gave me though. See...? The front has the same 'K K' but the back has three X's under the word 'Forever'.

She looked at it and laughed. "Three X's. Are those for kisses or triple X sex?"

"Either one..., or both depending on your mood; you're the girl I always want to kiss, always be with, have kinky sex with and grow old with." She wrapped her arms around me and squeezed. "But," I gasped, "You have to let me go so we can get ready for the show!"

She relaxed her arms and said, "Okay, but you have to put it on me after I shower."

Two tall blondes wearing identical gold hearts made the guard at the stage door do a double take when we approached. "Ladies," he said, "this entrance is for the performers. You should go around to the front."

"This is Kimmy one of the performers. Here's her registration and I'm Kari, her manager."

"Oh...! I thought you were real..., uh, sorry." He fumbled around in a small file and pulled out an envelope. "Here are your passes..., um..., ladies. Go up those stairs. The dressing rooms are down the hallway."

As we walked up the stairs, I whispered, "Did you see how he stared at us?"

"Yeah, so will the audience and when they hear you sing, they're going to become instant fans."

After I finished my second song, I got up from the piano and took a bow but the audience wouldn't stop applauding. They went on and on until the Emcee came out and said, "They love you. Do an encore." I smiled, went back to the piano and sat down.

"Thank you," I said into the microphone. "I really wasn't ready to do more than two songs but, if you bear with me, I'll try something new." I started with a few light background chords. "This is the first time I've done this one in public and it's very near and dear to my heart. I hope you like it."

I played the intro, closed my eyes and started to sing the song I wrote that day on the patio. Singing those words to so many people made me feel as if I were telling the world how much I loved Kari, how much she meant to me and tears started to well up in my eyes. When I finished, the room filled with thunderous applause. The audience cheered and then, they stood up applauding and whistling. Kari saw my glistening cheeks and sent the Emcee out with a box of tissues. After blotting my wet eyes, I stood, walked to the front of the stage and bowed.

People got out of their seats and came to the stage still clapping. With a tissue in my left hand blotting my tears, I went from one side to the other shaking hands as I walked. Some shook my hand, others rubbed it and some kissed it and my tears continued to run. Then, bouquets of flowers were passed forward and handed to me, more than I could hold. The Emcee, stage hands and other performers came running out on the stage to carry the bouquets I didn't have enough hands for and then they guided me to center stage, stood on either side and held their hands out toward me. Finally, they walked me off stage into the wings, hugging and kissing me as we went but, before going to the dressing room, I heard the Emcee announce, "All our performers are very happy that that was the last act because no one could ever top that performance. That was Kimmy from America!" And the applause thundered back to a deafening roar.

It took five minutes for Kari to reach me through the crowd in the dressing room. I hugged her and said, "I saw you send the Emcee out with those tissues. How come you didn't bring them? Then I could have introduced the beautiful girl I was singing about."

"Because my love, this is your night and you were spectacular. Besides, I didn't want them to see us both crying like babies."

As the dressing room crowd started to disperse, one of the other performers said, "I'm so jealous of you." Another agreed and added, "And you are so gorgeous!" Yet another said, "And you have a beautiful girl who loves you. I hate you!" Then (s)he hugged me and said, "I wish I could be like you even if I didn't have someone like this beautiful young thing who obviously adores you!"

The next morning, I was in the shower when room service delivered our breakfast along with a complimentary newspaper and I heard Kari shriek, "You've got to see this Kimmy. Oh-my-God! You're famous! Look at this!"

After I rinsed the soap out of my eyes, I saw her standing in front of me with a huge grin holding up the newspaper. A picture of me looking slightly upward with a wide open smile holding a bouquet of roses with tears running down my cheeks was front page headlined with, "20,000 FALL IN LOVE WITH KIMMY." It went on to say that the audience was enthralled with her voice, her songs and her beauty and asked the question, "Where is this star from? When will she be back?"

After we got over the excitement of being front page news, I said, "Uh-oh, I wonder if any of this will get back to the college?"

"So...? What if it does? They loved you! This article never even mentioned female impersonator. They just said you're a star! Come on, let's get dressed and go enjoy Carnival my superstar girlfriend."

We decided to go out for an ice cream cone and be tourists for the day but when we walked up to the window, the attendant shrieked. "You're Kimmy! Oh m
y God, can I have your autograph?" She disappeared for a second and came back with the newspaper. "Would you sign this for me please?"

I was speechless until Kari said, "Told ya!"

"I was there last night," said the excited girl. "You are so awesome and that last song you did, you know, the one you said you'd never done in public before..., oh my God, it was beautiful. I cried for an hour!"

I took the newspaper, asked how to spell her name and wrote, "Thank you for coming Arial. Love, K K." The girl read it, shrieked again and grabbed my hand when I gave back her pen. "I couldn't get near the stage last night. Can I kiss your hand please?" I nodded and she kissed it several times squealing, "Thank you, thank you," between each kiss.

By that time, a small crowd had gathered and I continued signing newspapers for the next hour. We never did get our ice creams and everywhere we went that day, I signed, said thank you and signed and signed, said thank you and signed again.

Suddenly, we saw several cars stop and people with cameras got out running across the park toward us. "Oh-oh," said Kari, "I don't think we're going to be able to eat in any public restaurant today. Let's take a taxi back to the hotel and get room service."

Kari flagged a cab and we jumped in to escape the oncoming Paparazzi. "Go," she said as I closed the door and waved to the crowd. "Where to" he asked. Then, he saw the photographers running our way and said, "Hokay! I get you out and then you tell me where!"

Once we were out of the park, he sped away and looked in his mirror. "Ho..., I have famous singer in my cab." He held up the paper. "This you Kimmy, yes?"

"Yes," I said glancing behind us. "Thank you for rescuing us from those Paparazzi people."

"No problem. I get you away. You please to write on my paper please?"

"Of course," I said with a laugh. "I'd be honored. What's your name?"

"Angelino. You put my name too?"

"How's this Angelino?" He stopped for a light and looked at it. "I don't read English so good. My name and..., what it say?"
